241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting to see the Crypto volumes getting more inclusive. on: March 10, 2019, 06:13:18 PM
Volumes are still very low compared to the end of 2017. Many exchanges are creating fake volume just to enter the rankings. For now, I don't think these volumes can be taken as an indicator.
They are not so different from ICO scammers then if they have to fake volume to stay relevant, after all, it is not a must to run a crypto exchange site if they can’t do their work diligently and this is one of the reasons why the market is still the way it is now, no much transparency from the part of ICO down to the exchanges.

I understand that it is not so easy to run a business that is why it is necessary first for a project director to do his feasibility sties first before venturing into it.
242  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin mining will be based on POW+POS.. on: March 10, 2019, 04:10:07 PM
Both POS and POW are  good but I feel if satoshi had chosen the part of POS, transaction would have been more faster and efficient than it is now, though I understand your claim that POS might force the value of bitcoin to 1 million usd this time making it difficult for common people to afford and also use for payment system but have you ever wondered how they will also cope when the price eventually hit the target of 1m usd even with the POW system put in place, people will still adjust and learn to operate on satoshi rather than full bitcoin, don’t forget we also have a part of BTC that is satoshi that will be adopted then.
243  Economy / Speculation / Re: CRYPTOS TO THE MOON???? on: March 10, 2019, 03:19:04 PM
This time no miracle's will be happening, yes bitcoin was over the moon in 2017 but unfortunately the price of bitcoin has gone low due to the manipulations as well as the supply and demand as suppose to be a hectic task. I hope things will turn around back in a real quick time and BTC will be over the moon once again.

The prices that Bitcoin hit in late 2017 were clearly due to market manipulation and it can be described as a bubble.
Now we are in a normal market with the prices being indicative of the current situation of the market. I don't know why people are crazy about seeing the prices going up and they pray every day for a bull market to come.
It is very easy to know why people want that, many are not really interested in what bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can achieve they only care about the money they can make so they are always waiting for the market not only to recover but to go even higher, but the problem with that attitude is that they are not capable of waiting for the market to go through difficult times without getting desperate about it, so unless they change the chances they will be here to be part of the next bull market are slim.
This points and reason you gave I believe is exactly the reasons why lots of Altcoins are being birthed too, a lot of them sees the crypto currency world only in the perspective of making money, they come up with lots of project whether it fails or not for as long as they can raise money through investors and keep given them hope that will never come till they forget about the investment.

If they were really interested in how the crypto currency can really make good effect on the economy of the world and how crypto technology can be more advanced they would have made more input in the market of few existing crypto in the time past especially BITCOIN.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Publish0x - The next Steemit? on: March 09, 2019, 08:28:21 PM
I haven't had at about this platform now until I saw this article, from what I can see from the article, this is a platform mainly for those who are into writing and want to get reward for creation of content.

I don't think a regular person will enjoy making use of the platform since all the post made will be well checked to see if the content are great and users be rewarded, though if the team behind the project can make the platform user friendly, people will prefer to make use of it than using steemit.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After long break I started constant betting and this is what happen today? on: March 09, 2019, 05:27:30 PM
I have been through this and I can relate. You have stayed away from gambling for 2 years by the help of your friends and family and I assure you can away for a longer time. Don’t think of getting back to recover loses, you just need a break. Gambling is meant to be fun and not require so much commitment.

You can imagine how much you have lost and the good things this money would have done to you, no one can advise you now except you talk to yourself.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celebrities you probably don't know were(are) aggressive gamblers on: March 09, 2019, 04:09:28 PM
I bet they really do not know how to use their money in a useful way. They have so much money knowing that they are celebrities. If they are gambling for fun or because they are so addicted into it, we don't know the real reason.
I was just shocked that Mayweather is really addicted.
I don't think they don't know how to use their money well. We can't judge them because they deserve to have some fun themselves and I think that's the fruit of their hardwork.

It just so happens that they're celebrities that's why them being gamblers became a big deal. If they weren't famous and aggressive gamblers, they wouldn't be subjected to this controversy.
In my country, we have lots of local celebrities that are gamblers, just that they keep their own as secret and I believe the reason for the secrecy is because they are not sure or proud of what they are doing, these celebrities mentioned here have not for once denied being a gambler, it means they are proud of what they are doing and if they see it as game and fun, like the writer above you said, I think they deserve to enjoy their hard earned money which is not a big deal like you rightly said.
247  Economy / Speculation / Re: RIP Bull Market on: March 09, 2019, 03:35:41 PM
If this is the bottom, things can just get better in the future. Short-term will see some profit, but I`m for long-term 100%.
It`s not the end of drops, we will have fluctuations through next years. Many rises and drops are waiting for us, this is not
the end it`s a beginning. One thing is sure, every couple years prices will set up new bottoms that will be higher than before.
Speaking for bitcoin, well I think bitcoin price is yet to bottom yet and even though many crypto currency analyst see the price of 4200 as the bottom but I personally foresee 4500 as steal till we set in for the bull run.

So the year is still quite early and I expected the bull run to set in within the next 200 days though The market will experience lots of fluctuation as you said, but its best most holders learn to also trade so that they can also take advantage of the fluctuations while waiting for the bull run benefits too. The coming of BULL RUN within the next 200 is inevitable provided the market can break all the resistance soon.
248  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN 1 MILLION in the end 2020? on: March 09, 2019, 11:14:42 AM
Nothing is impossible as in 2016 the bitcoin price was taking tough time to cross $1000 price and that time when someone predicted that in 2017 bitcoin price will cross $10000 and everyone was making joke but when the price started to move above $10000 every one were feeling sad.

why the heck they would feel sad if the price have already climb up to 10k usd ? they should have feel happy with it because they can now sell thier coins at a maximum rate  . anyway , the title of this thread seems missleading  .

i wont believe that bitcoin would hit 1million usd at the end of 2019 even if i believe that anything is possible in bitcoin  .   the gap is just too short   . i dont think that bitcoin can accumulate enough adoption that fast .
I guess they were feeling sad because they regretted not listening to that humble investor that advised them to invest when bitcoin was about 1000 usd, I also lost the chance too just that my own investment was when BTC got to 7k and I had to buy little since I couldn’t afford to buy the whole full coin then.

Finally for the speculation of 1 million usd, it is actually impossible for now as you said, it just mere speculation which is also good though, at least it is better than the negative ones going round this net, this might force lots of potential investors to start investing this year and now that BTC is on 3k trend which will in turn push the market out of the bearish trend.
249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hodler, you motherfucker. on: March 09, 2019, 10:46:23 AM
Everyone have their own opinion and you don't need to insult them for it, this is a free market the last I checked and anyone can do whatever he/she want to do, if a user of the community decides to hodl, I don't think it's good for you to discourage them in what they believe, and it's not also good for them to discourage you from what you believe.

If you think trading is better than hodling then trade those who believe hodling is better would hodl that's how things work here.
OP just need to learn from his mistakes, for the fact that he has made mistake in entering the market at the wrong time doesn’t mean the market will not correct itself again, after all we are just talking about events that is barely 3 years when the whole BULL RUN and BEARISH thing came in.

Next time, he should use his analysis very well before investing at the particular time his instinct tells him to do so, he should blame his loss on his failed instinct instead of generalizing it and putting blames on things that his opinion will not change or make the market get better.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ERC20 tokens benefit from Ethereum upswing? on: March 09, 2019, 09:26:41 AM
Most of my earned tokens are also based on ECR20 token which I got majority of them through bounty hunting and the last time we experienced bull run in Ethereum, majority of them didn’t rise along with it, I was even surprised to see that it was when BTC started consolidating that I had serious pump in the prices of my bounty token for the ones that has entered exchange.

The only thing I know for sure is that when ethereum rises, the value of some coins based on ECR20 will also increase since you have to also change them to ETH first.
251  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the best crypto trading research websites? on: March 09, 2019, 08:02:14 AM
For me the best crypto exchange is bittrex, poloniex, binance, crytopia, etc. Because of safe trading site and easy trading platform and shitcoin is just a coin with small value or not valuable coin.
I prefer to trade in one place because if I trade in several places it will only make me confused to control the assets that I have, and I prefer a binance exchange for me to use for profit.
But trading in one place will limit the number of coins you can  trade except that majority of the coin you want to invest in are listed on that exchange which I doubt.

I have been in your shoes too where I promised myself never to trade in different  exchanges but this became impossible for me after I picked interest in some coin I believe strongly in but not listed on my exchange that is what gave birth to the research I did and got to know of an application that I can use to trade in one place irrespective of the exchange they are on called  TABTRADER, you can check it out too.
252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to go for 10,000% plus profits in 2019? on: March 09, 2019, 06:37:43 AM
for 2019 I am not sure there are coins that go up to 10,000%,
if the bull market is possible, but unfortunately in 2019 the bull market is still far away,
but if it goes up 100-200% it might be there, but I suggest choosing coins that are still cheap and ranking above 500. If the rating is 100 in the market capitalization, at most 50% it might be very good
Predicting such coin to go 10000% this year on top 500 crypto has less chance getting it correct unless you buy it all but if and only if bull comes this year.I'm not seeing a bull in the market not even a single sign to have it this quarter.
10,000% increase is quite a high target and not realistic on one coin when the project is not the only project in the except the author is combining all the increase on the coins in his portfolio, even with the BULL RUN. The only target that is feasible is 1500% which is what majority of the altcoins increased to while bitcoin was consolidating in 2018 and with the way a lot of shitcoin are flooding in now taking investors’ money, I doubt if any coin will be able to record such increase.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: March 08, 2019, 07:38:02 PM
Video games are loaded with aspects of gambling and people of all groups and ages play these games in modern times.  Many games have things like loot boxes that you pay for to random prizes, Runescape has the duel arena where you can gamble gold against one another, and there are many more examples.

People may start off with video games and then eventually move on to higher sums gambling in real casinos.  What are your thoughts on this matter and should anything be done?
Well playing an interesting game can give gamer a hint or an idea to how gambling would be like, this is especially when the game itself is very interesting, IMO games can be very fun, just that it does not involve money but the moment one is aware that it’s possible to play with a little cash and the win more.

I think the player would be left with no choice than to upgrade to gambling. This is how gamers upgrade from playing games to gambling
254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best small exchanges that you really like on: March 08, 2019, 06:33:36 PM
Most widely accepted crypto exchanges and used are quite very popular too, I have not used any new exchanges for me to recommend one to you because the best is still all these popular ones which are more reliable, so I will advise you try as much as possible to get your listing on those popular ones.

People nowadays needs reliable exchanges and not even by popularity alone talk less of all these small upcoming ones that will end up delisting all coins later and packing up.
255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is 10% a week posible on: March 08, 2019, 06:03:21 PM
I am about to reach a milestone is my trading/investing and am going to reevaluate my trading strategy moving forward.
I want to set myself a goal of increasing my BTC by 10% a week (compounded) and wondering what is the best way to do this
Should I invest in small cap coins, coins with high volume. Invest in one coin a week or to different trades each day.
What would you recommend and is it achievable long term
It will be best if you invest in smaller marketcap cryptos with large daily-volumes provided it will be easy for you to monitor all your trades at the same time which I also believe trading different coins will also involve trading on different platforms but you have to be careful when selecting coins based on volume because we have lots of these coins out there that hyped the volume of their coins.

It means you won’t really see much actions on them when you get to the platform to trade them. If you invest in one coin, depending on the coin though, it is not every day you see favorable price action on a particular coin except you are trading the right coin for that period.
256  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reversal of Bear Market? on: March 08, 2019, 05:30:51 PM
Bitcoin has been trying to break and remain above $4000 but it couldn't and that means bitcoin is not doing well currently because it doesn't used to stay long in a particular place like it happening now.  I foresee a bull run in the second quarter of the year and not this first quarter as something serious has to happen fundamentally before we can see bitcoin moving above $4000 and remain above.
I want to assume that most of these altcoins activities are also affect the growth of bitcoin somehow as there is too much of diversity going on, people don’t concentrate on one project and also invest in other coins that doesn’t depend on BTC, I wish all other coins they are investing in depends on BTC as the only means of exchanges to their own coin or from their own coin.

I believe by now BTC would have seen a tremendous growth in price aside the action of the whales in the market and secondly, I don’t know if the whales are satisfied already with the deep market because that is their main goal, to force the market to go very deep, buy at large and also make lots of people to panic sell.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DASH : News, Information and Discussion on: March 08, 2019, 05:10:20 PM
This is actually what I have been talking about for the past few days, it is good for a project to come up with a road map so that every can know what to expect at a particular period of time, then the project will not lose it's value since it always have something new to offer, this is a great move from the dash team and I hope they follow the road map to making all what they have written possible.

I think this step will bring more adoption of dash because a lot of persons have already forgotten about dash.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 4 of Tokyo's Hottest Nightclubs! -BCH- on: March 08, 2019, 02:24:29 PM
Wow, I know that there would be a great adoption of crypto but I never knew it would get to the level of a night club accepting bitcoin cash, not just 1 but 4 night clubs, this is a very good development the night clubs don't want to pay for taxes I guess that's why they are using cryptocurrency as a method of payment.

I think strippers would soon begin to collect crypto as mode of payment for their services, this market is getting big and it's not good for anyone to miss out.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why crypto market is volatile on: March 07, 2019, 07:05:40 PM
Hey, I have some moderate experience over this crypto world. Why the market is extensively volatile. Alike traditional market does crypto too impacted of many major changes.
For now the crypto market will still continue to be volatile because it is new and don't have so much volume in it's total market cap, as of today, the total marker cap of the crypto market is $130 billion which is small compared to some fiat that have a market capped at billion and even trillions of dollars.

Once the marker is able to get to trillions of dollars, I know we are going to now begin to see a stable price of coins.
260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Legal help for bitcoin issues - I’m volunteering on: March 07, 2019, 05:21:50 PM
Wow, this is very good and I love it, we need a lot of law student that is for crypto so that it would be easy for us to operate without disturbance from any security agency or the government, I heard of a country were they arrest people who own Bitcoin and charge them a lot of money even though there is no law against Bitcoin in this countries.

If we have many legal persons that is for us, then I believe that all this kind of issues would be addressed until a law is brought against Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
