yes it works so long as you mine on the correct chain. Twice today I mined blocks on the wrong end of the chain  Same here, it's very frustrating. Dev would it be possible for you to hook us all up with a bootstrap for the correct chain? By the way my wallet's showing a height of 4859 at the moment, what's everybody else got? |

So this is another wave project?  4400 BTC for 23% token? and dev team hold 50% token. technically speaking the dev team does not "hold" this 50m ANS at all. We have repeatedly explained this 50m would be held by a smart contract upon the mainnet launch. And they'll be LOCKED for at least one year. After that, a max.15m could go into circulation per year. And, it's NOT FOR the dev team, either. 1 year after the formal release, this 50 million ANS (and AntCoins generated by them) could be used for the support of the Antshares Eco-System. Such support may include but not limited to Antshares-related crowdfunding sites, exchanges, wallets, gateways, developers, ESOPs, marketing, advisors of specialized fields, etc. But they cannot directly be traded on an exchange. As for the investment volume, this is the first blockchain project that launches with help from BOTH Chinese and Overseas community(we have a lot to catch up in English community I must confess), the first open-source original project from a Chinese team, the first to announce real-world applications at least in China.......just think about how many "first"s are there. however, we do have a refund policy in place in case ppl feel the volume is too high It's always frustrating when details of a project originating in China reaches Bitcointalk long after launch so I appreciate the international launch. We won't speak of that first ICO of course. |

First off the new wallet is pretty slick with some nice features, but over all I'm disappointed that no torrent features were released today, as I was expecting:( This is why I sold half of my coins today, I will keep 200k as this is still has potential. Having to wait until at least the new year for the hard forks, so we can finally get torrents implemented also sucks. That being said, the Dev has finally made some progress and actually released something  As for the price, who knows what will happen over the coming weeks or months, I would also like to add that this project does not look like so much of a gamble now. As someone who only recently became familiar with the project I had a similar reaction to the release. It's SDC's wallet with a couple of additions (Bittrex trading, which the old version had anyway, and 2FA, which I'm pretty sure Google makes easy enough for developers to implement). No torrent features after nearly two years of development is pretty disappointing and again there's nothing here to show that the developer is capable enough of producing original code that would overcome the technical challenges involved. Good luck to the hardcore believers, but I've seen enough for now. |

Still 17d to go, 3k (well, that's even almost 4k atm) is fairly good amount already. Seeing how the ICO is going, it's going to be even higher. Over $2m worth of Bitcoin invested, I think by most measures it would be considered successful already. |

Silk has code taken from Emercoin/Namecoin for decentralised DNS services which works in the Daemon without issue (RPC calls). However the GUI elements within Emercoin do not function, but they will in Silk. This is something we are sorting for launch. Also we will have MultiSig UI in the wallet and functioning. Basically, what I am saying is this, whatever you see in the wallet, works.
Also to make life easier, within the receive tab where your addresses are contained, we are actually adding the address labels and making it possible to copy/paste the address from that list, which, suprisingly, isn't possible in Bitcoin or other coins based upon its last few version releases. This will be made possible in both Silk and DarkSilk.
Also prior to launch I am looking to add the functions from HyperStake where splitting of inputs is possible from the UI interface, which will again make the end-users life a lot easier when it comes to organising their inputs for stake.
If anyone within the community has any suggestions for the codebases, please speak up. They will be attempted to be implemented for launch or road-mapped for implementation after.

Lol, well he's been online at least once today, how hard would it have been for him to clear up any confusion if it isn't being released today? Lol, you don't know this Dev. Well I hope he does come through in the end, you guys deserve something for hanging in there this long. |

So can anyone explain why we are still trading with 4 zero in front? even with current price (2000 satoshi) is like a joke cus its still way cheaper than most shit coin on Bittrex.  Until the new wallet gets released with torrents implemented no one is going to buy (only gamblers), the rest are cautiously waiting in the wings, when it does get released expect a massive move in price. It's frustrating trying to get concrete information on this project. Even this video that's just surfaced could quite easily just be the SDC wallet rebranded and with a couple of renamed tabs for show. I suppose we'll know for sure when the update comes. The wallet is from SDC, but it's an SPV and seems to be syncing VTR blockchain. It's Sunday, let's see what the roadmap is like. SDC's wallet has SPV built in, that's what I mean. But yeah I'm eager to see what comes on Sunday. For me, investing anything substantial at this point would be a gamble like the man said. |
