SEPA deposit arrived well. That's the 2nd deposit with Bistamp, all good so far. We do our best!

Love how they open with, Bitcoin, an alternative currency that doesn't exist physically Because all those numbers sitting in bank accounts actually exist. Just wanted to quote the same sentence. Are people really thinking that money in their bank accounts is "physical" money? Yes they do actually.

Does bitstamp have a public websocket/streaming API? Also, are there any request limits to usual API?
Yes: var trades_socket = io.connect('https://websocket.bitstamp.net:8080/live_trades'); var orders_socket = io.connect('https://websocket.bitstamp.net:8080/live_orders'); Yes: up to 1 per second

No need for the speculative title unless you have some hard evidence that they lost anything.

A decent article I thought, for once some fair criticism and sound caution against headless pumping of money into something most who do it don't have a clue what it is or how it works.

how much have you send with SEPA? i do also want to withdraw with SEPA.. but dont know how much is "good and possible at once"
There are no limits. It might be worth researching certain thresholds that will trigger a message to tax-authorities and so on. I don't know much about the details about these things, but if the threshold was 10K, it would perhaps be better withdrawing smaller amounts at a time, lest you get investigated, and god knows if any bank would hold money pending investigation ? Maybe banks have such "trigger" amounts however Bitstamp does not. But it is true that first deposits above 1000€ require a KYC procedure and any deposits or withdrawals above 10,000€ with an unverified account also require a KYC procedure at Bitstamp.

Nothing.
I regret no decision although if I had the chance to go back knowing what I know now about the future I would have done a few things differently obviously, but given the information I had at the time I think I made good choices all around, choices that were based on empirical evidence and sound conservative reasoning.

i made a SEPA deposit on 28 March and still doesn't show up in my account. Is that normal?
I don't know, but they didn't work from 29 March till 2 April. Maybe it needs one more day to show. Yes this is precisely the reason. Give it a day or two more before you contact support. I'm sure you'll get your deposit added.

All's well that ends well though. So you got your bitcoins now? Yes, BitStamp support manually transferred them to my BTC address about 20 minutes ago. Great.

Is anybody else having issues with BitStamp withdrawals?
I withdrew various amounts of BTC this afternoon (about 2.30pm) - two transfers were successful but my third transfer seemingly 'disappeared' though it is marked as "finished" in my Withdrawals. There is no trace of it at all. I've opened a support ticket but have had no reply as of yet; it was only a few hours ago though so I presume support simply hasn't gotten around to it yet.
Larger withdrawals may take up to 24 hours if it depleted their hot wallet.

Since upgrade to Firefox 19.0 and then 19.0.2, I'm having issues on quite a lot of websites that used to work flawlessly. What sort of issues are you having. Did you contact support and describe them?

Are treasures going to publicly announce anywhere anytime there is an expenditure to be made so that us Council members are able to monitor money being spent or how did you want me to keep an eye on what's happening with the funds?

Bitstamp is not offline. It's Cloudflare that has problems and makes the site unavailable in some regions. And this is first hand knowledge.

No one censored you. A user wrote a report and I decided he was right.
And I'm not making anything up either and I couldn't care less for guys sucking dicks, but this is what the dictionary says about the words you used: fag·got 2 [fag-uht] noun Slang: Disparaging and Offensive. a male homosexual.
Gay, queer, homosexual = cool
faggot = offensive and not cool and belongs in the same category as nigger and other such derogatory words that are used mainly to belittle and verbally attack and hurt people with certain kind of dispositions for which they can't help themselves for having.
Also killer is not offensive in the least since such a person had the option to not kill and it's an awful analogy to make and I think gives people reading this pointless whining a pretty good sense of what sort of a person you are. And this will be the last I'll comment on this matter.
