241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you gained anything after the end of bull run? on: January 14, 2024, 03:29:46 AM
Last bull run was 2021 and after that, altcoins price dumped a lot. In 2022, we noticed a little pump and in this year 2023, altcoins pumped a lot, if compare altcoins price chart after end of bull run.           So have you able to gained anything after the end of last bull run? Or last bull run makes you dumped and you are still trying to regain what you have lost?
Unfortunately I haven't made much profit since the end of 2021, and am still trying to increase the income I have to date. However, there are still some assets that I have not sold, and hope to have a good enough price this year to sell them.
To be honest, in 2022 and 2023 my needs increase, so I don't have the opportunity to increase investments and take advantage of the recovery that has occurred since the price decline. It all happened because of urgent need, so I kept spending money instead of investing. However, I hope this all returns to normal, and can maximize my profits, especially in the crypto and investment fields. I quite hope that the price increase this year can be very high, even passing the ATH of all popular coins.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: January 14, 2024, 02:17:15 AM
People tend to buy into altcoins because they feel like they missed the boat with bitcoin and trying to get rich quick on someone these other coins.  It's really greed that drives the altcoin market.  Take a look at these memcoins, they should be worth nothing because they are literally empty projects but they stay around because people are trying to hit a pump and dump on the next person.
Apart from that, people tend to think that Bitcoin is already quite expensive, and are not satisfied with just buying a few dollars of Bitcoin, so another alternative is that they buy altcoins that suit the capital they have. Apart from that, altcoins still provide big profits for some people, so people continue to use popular altcoins, or new altcoins. Apart from that, altcoins sometimes provide big profits for people who don't have that much capital, even though they carry big risks. However, I feel that people are more inclined to accept the risks of altcoins because they feel that the capital they are using is not too large, so they are more prepared for the risks.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as P2P currency vs Bitcoin as an asset on: January 13, 2024, 12:40:20 PM
well, it is very true that nowadays people are more inclined to use bitcoin as an investment tool than P2P currency. However, this happens because of the potential for the price to increase at any time. Apart from that, I think that every day people still use bitcoin as a transaction tool on the internet or in the real world.
However, until now, both are still running, however, their use will depend on the consumer or owner of the bitcoin. they might be able to use it as a transaction tool, or an investment tool, because until now bitcoin still has all these functions.
244  Other / Archival / Re: Suppose you own a Bitcoin now. So what to do? on: January 13, 2024, 08:31:01 AM
today, I think having 1 bitcoin is already a very large asset. In my country, we can already buy a luxury car, or a pretty nice house with 1 bitcoin. the price of 1 bitcoin currently stands at $43k, and I think, in any country, that is quite a lot of money. At least, we can own some property with it. However, if I had 1 bitcoin, I would probably continue to hold it, especially as the upside potential for bitcoin is currently quite high.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin hidden gems. on: January 13, 2024, 06:14:26 AM

If you had to pick one lesser-known altcoin that you believe has tremendous potential, what would it be? Let's uncover hidden gems together!

If this refers to general, then I will choose popular altcoins such as ethereum, BNB, and other popular altcoins. I think most people will also include popular altcoins in their portfolio, especially Ethereum.
However, if this refers to newly developed projects, I personally look at the projects currently being developed by the TON team, such as TonUP and TOT. Personally I invest there, and hope the price can be higher in the future. This is not a suggestion to invest there, but I would stress to do your research before investing in a new altcoin.
246  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto investment vs real estate investment : Which one more dependable? on: January 12, 2024, 11:58:57 AM
Honestly, I build my digital assets first rather than real estate investments. However, I think that building digital assets can be a source of huge and unexpected amounts of income. some people even become rich because of this. So, as of now, I am more inclined to choose crypto investments than real estate. However, when I have many profitable investments on the internet including crypto, I will probably start investing in real estate. However, the development of our investments must occur.
247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you ready for crypto investing in 2024? on: January 12, 2024, 08:23:03 AM
For this year I have invested in new coins, and will probably plan to increase the portfolio I have. However, this year has quite a lot that could make crypto prices rise, especially popular coins. Well, I'm very enthusiastic and believe that this could be a very good year to increase the value of the assets that we own. So, I don't want to miss out. Besides, I think many people have been preparing for this since the end of 2023.
248  Economy / Economics / Re: How to stay poor! on: January 12, 2024, 05:41:12 AM
well, even without this suggestion, I think everyone knows how to be poor. I say that, because everyone struggles to get out of poverty, and continues to work hard to make a lot of money.
It's just that, even though we are aware of this, it is human nature to have needs, and this is sometimes difficult to control, and makes it difficult for us to manage the finances we have, thus pushing us to poverty. There are lots of tips for getting out of poverty, but not everyone is able to implement them.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you take out your investment when in profit? on: January 11, 2024, 10:56:49 AM
When my investment already gain value, I mostly rely on technical analysis on when to take my profit. The simplest thing to do was to determine the support and resistance. When price hit resistance barrier three times and then surpassing the support I would sell it, but sometimes I also watch for some news that might affect the price.
Well, it's a good strategy and might be useful for OP. however, not everyone has a strategy like this. Many people continue to hold the assets they own and hope the price will rise, even when the price falls very drastically, they still hold it.
However, when I have made 3x or 4x profits, I will probably sell some, and will probably apply the lowest price. When the price of the investment I have has reached the lowest point that I have decided, whether because of FUD, or because of some other reason, then I will probably sell it in the form of stablecoins and do research first on whether I will buy it back, or look for an investment others are more profitable.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins profits or bank profits, which best? on: January 11, 2024, 05:18:45 AM
Bank investors have more certainty because there capital is completely safe but they give 8-10% annual profits to the investors of per year. But it is comparatively less in terms of profits.

On the other hand you will get constant profits from crypto as if you are experienced in trading then daily profits is possible. Otherwise you can get profits by investing. However crypto investment puts your capital at greater risk (main point).

It's a good strategy to diversify. So, it's recommended to keep your savings in bank accounts as well invest in fruitful sectors like crypto.
I have for some time maintained a spreadsheet on the buy price and current price of my crypto holdings and compared it to savings and FD on banks.
Most of the entries were on red side but some of my investment performed so well that overall my results are on the green side. i.e. my overall crypto performance has outyielded bank savings but the difference is not huge.
By looking at this percentage, we know that one of the weaknesses if we target profits at the bank is that we need large savings to get satisfactory results. with a percentage of 8-10% or maybe less, then we need quite a lot of money. In fact, when we have $10k in savings in the bank, we might be able to get around $800 to $1000 in additional funds within one year. Meanwhile, investing in crypto can make you $10k, using $1k in less than 1 year. However, the risk in this case is very large, whereas in banks the risk is very small. So, it all depends on the capacity and needs of potential investors. Until now, I prioritize seeking and exploiting profits in crypto rather than banks. Yeah, but when I have a lot of money, I might try to take advantage of bank profits. It is perfect for people who want to retire, and enjoy their hard work during this time.
251  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I succeed as a trader in 2024 on: January 11, 2024, 03:28:43 AM
what makes someone successful in something is persistence, and continuing to learn. However, the tips for becoming a successful trader this year are the same as in previous years. You need to be consistent in the goals you want to achieve, don't get bored quickly, do in-depth research, be patient, don't be greedy, keep adapting, and much more.
However, the most important thing to emphasize in this case is don't be greedy and try to make the best use of the profits you get. Look for potential projects that can increase your assets even higher, and if you feel that the project has stopped growing, you need to look for another project. Remember, don't be greedy when you have made a lot of profits. Many people do not sell some of the assets they own, even when they have made big profits, and after that, they make big losses.

253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: December 09, 2023, 05:11:32 AM
OP posted about altcoins being dead last year and it's most likely that it became better after a year. But not all altcoins have and will survive. I think that there were a lot of them that have been dead forever. I also get the idea from some people that if it's about investing to any altcoin will give profit, it's not always the case. We're not yet on that season and by people mean anything, don't be too gullible with such words because it may just lose you a lot of money.
It seems that OP had panic and negative thoughts that occurred due to the decline in altcoin prices at that time, and maybe OP had waited long enough, but had not seen significant developments in altcoin prices, so he asked like that. Well, I'm pretty sure if OP is holding large assets, he probably already has the desire to sell the assets he owns. However, prices are now recovering, and basically, that's how the system works. Crypto is famous for its high volatility, and this happens almost every year. However, we cannot conclude whether an altcoin died or not just because the price fell, or just because they waited a few months, but did not see significant developments, because the development of an altcoin sometimes depends on the project itself, market conditions, and also other factors.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to altcoins ? on: December 08, 2023, 12:15:54 PM
basically the price of altcoins always follows the price of bitcoin. If you buy bitcoin fractions at $30k and ETH at $2100, then now you have made a profit if you are patient. That's what investing in crypto is like. If you patiently hold onto the assets you have, and collect them little by little, then you might be able to get big profits. Remember that altcoin trends always follow bitcoin, if the price of the altcoin you are holding decreases, then something has happened, immediately check the community, or existing information, and make a decision whether you will sell it or continue holding it.
255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trading be for the rich? on: December 08, 2023, 08:30:14 AM
not really, however the trading limits are not that big. In fact, with just $10, you can trade. It all depends on the individual who will trade. Sometimes they have money, but are afraid to take risks, on the other hand, there are people who dare to take risks, but don't have the money. This is quite common in the world of business and investment. Sometimes, people who dare to take risks want to start big. However, if they really believe they can make a lot of money from trading, then they can start from a small number if they don't have any money. So, I think trading is not just for rich people.
256  Economy / Economics / Re: World is full of things what nobody dont need just too much on: December 08, 2023, 03:40:49 AM
I understand what OP is saying, but I believe OP has not done research about poor people who need too many items that are no longer used, clothes or food. If you have these things, it would be great if you give them to the poor people around you, if you don't have any, you can find out about it. I'm pretty sure that there are quite a lot of people out there who don't have that. If you feel that you will never use them again, you can find someone else who is ready to use these items every day. Even though there are too many luxury items available, if you don't need them, then you can give other people the opportunity to experience the luxury items you have. If it's not in your area, then try looking in another area.
257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many scams have you caught? on: December 07, 2023, 01:07:41 PM
I think things like that are difficult to count, because there are so many people trying to cheat other people, starting from airdrops, giveaways, projects, bounties, and others. In fact, I have also bought several coins which ended up being a scam. Some things like this are easy to research, some are difficult. For those that are easy to research, sometimes they provide information that is not very clear, and only focus on the number of prizes or profits that we get. However, there are also things that are difficult to detect, such as the person really intending to build a project, but in the end they are trapped by greed and fraud.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: December 07, 2023, 10:28:44 AM
Those things that generate income are always interesting. There are many altcoin options, the choice is yours. But you need to be as confident as possible in your choice, mistakes in the altcoin market can really lead to significant financial losses. Invest only what you can afford to lose.
Well, it seems like almost everyone says that altcoins are still profitable, that's why many people are still interested today. Moreover, the prices vary, with different potential. Many people place high hopes on altcoins at low prices so that they can make huge profits from it. After all, it's all about benefits and profits. Apart from that, I also feel that people who think that bitcoin has a very high price, and it is difficult for them to exploit it to get maximum profits, then they will choose altcoins for that.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore on: December 07, 2023, 09:17:11 AM
While I am still using some of these altcoins that I am going to say and mainly for transfers but if we're going to talk about them for investments, I wouldn't hold them for that.

  • XRP
  • TRX
  • Dogecoin
So far, I have never bought this coin again, but that doesn't mean I will never buy it again. when I see the profit potential from there, I will probably buy some coins. So far, I have only focused on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB. Additionally, I bought some USDT for necessities. Additionally, I never buy any coins unless I see potential profit there. I think it's not good if we buy something profitable when we know its potential just because of the commitment we have. However, as long as the coin still has benefits and development, I think there is no harm in buying it in the future.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not share your bitcoin holdings with everyone on: December 06, 2023, 04:45:56 PM
I was listening to a news that one of the relatives of a person kidnapped him and asked him for bitcoin in ransom. This happened because that person showed his bitcoin holdings to many of his relatives and news spread among them that he has lot of money invested in crypto. Though, finally funds were recovered from that guy but he could have even lost his life in the whole scenario. Thus, you should be careful with disclosing about your bitcoin holdings to everyone.
Well, I agree with that. we don't know bad people may be around us, and we don't realize their goals. However, showing off bitcoins or even anything valuable that we own in public, would be very risky. Not only bad people, but people who are ready to hack your device will also look for information about these assets. So, I think things like that need to have privacy.
