241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning for newbies on: December 12, 2019, 05:23:01 PM
During Xmas time many scammers come out of the wood works because they know people are spending money and it is the holiday season so they are excited and mostly in a better mood. Perfect for the scammers to take advantage of the situation. Ultimately people really need to follow their instincts. Always ask yourself why someone wants you to do something so urgently. Scammers cause urgency and panic and FOMO to get you to do things without properly thinking them out first.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good advice or bad advice? on: December 12, 2019, 05:11:32 PM
I agree with you and you shouldn't be buying or investing with your time to earn coins if you just plan to sell them. You wasting your time then. If you invest then you must invest and wait until the price is right.
Too many people get into the ind set that all tokens or coins besides bitcoin are trash and so the assume very little out of good coins and projects that have made it. Being use to dumping they would have no coins for the future.
I agree that you should also have a few extra coins from you investments that you can sell off as need be but never sell off the bulk of your investment.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking vs. mining altcoins on: December 12, 2019, 02:57:03 PM
Both aren't cheap investments. Staking requires a decent capital for you to receive a promising amount if you prefer the daily equivalent but if you just want to accumulate more coins, this is good for you because it's much cheaper than mining.

While in mining, if you also want to accumulate a coin and you have a way to sustain your bills from other source that would be a good advantage for you. But if you'll depend on it for your daily bills, make sure you mine lucrative coins.

For staking, I think the best would be the hot coins like Tezos.
In addition, in mining, you can still sell VGA, ASIC if you do not want to exploit anymore. So, I personally prefer mining rather than betting, because the risk of Altcoin deposits is much higher than investing in an altcoin mining factory.

Although the value of a Staking Altcoin can be guaranteed, in the past, a lot of Altcoins failed to hold this price. For example, Zcoin, one of the coins I've invested in Staking, its value has dropped from more $100 to $15 within 6 months because of many investors took their profit at $100 - $90.
The assurance of holding the value of an altcoin staking is very fragile, but before the staking happens, it is an opportunity to pump the price of altcoins very high. It is my experience.

You should never be dependant on just mining that is a mistake. You should never be dependant on any one thing. You to be diverse. It's difficult to be diverse when mining. Sure you can mine different coins but at the end of the day the goal is to break even and then make profits.

You can still sell your VGA cards and you might have to in order to make a profit so, therefore, you have to balance out how long you mine with them vs how much you sell them for eventually. Thats actually a good idea. Sounds like a safer investment to me. If you can get cheap electricity and people to buy your second-hand cards then you set. Remember that miners can always stop working for who knows what reason. Probably won't happen but with staking, you don't need to worry. I think they more or less the same just on different scales though I think that pos coins are usually not backed by much more then the fun of staking them where is mining something like eth is perfectly accepted and well used currency.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold backed coins are real?? on: December 11, 2019, 05:58:22 PM
Gold backed fiat isn't even real so no I don't believe this. It doesn't actually need to be backed by actual gold since no one ever sees that. The gold is just there to backup the value but it is never used or touched. People don't exchange their cash for gold, nor do they need to. It's just a system of debt basically that is never-ending. That's actually how the economy works. It sounds very confusing because it is.

A better way to do this would be to have a gold jeweller and have the coins backed by the jeweller itself rather than the gold. So then you could go in and look at the gold since you own some of it depending on how many coins you own or you can buy some directly to take home it depends on the business model. I would like to think it works as shares do. Then your coins are not backed just by gold but by a company that specializes in gold and sells it at upmarket prices.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can be done to stop loss sending to wrong bitcoin address on: December 10, 2019, 07:37:29 PM
The problem is many people don't seem to double-check the address they typed before even confirming the transaction. Yes, I get it that there is some malware that automatically pastes something in the address but that can easily be avoided simply by double-checking.

You need to do much more than this. You should setup F2A or email and then carefully read where the coins are going and how many. Double triple quadruple check the address is correct.
You take so long to earn your bitcoins so you don't want to throw them all away in a few seconds. Take as long as you need when making transactions. Saving a few moments not checking things is not worth it.
You do need discipline using crypto, not everyone likes that about crypto and I feel it is one of the reasons people might not want to use it. Fear of losing their money if they buy crypto doing something silly like sending to the wrong address.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Week (Dec 22-28) on: December 10, 2019, 06:45:54 PM
I think they're still so many bad hands holding bitcoin that are there for the wrong reasons and only to increase their dirty fiat amount will be the ones who sell bitcoin to buy dumb crap for other people to buy dumb crap back for them. I will spend bitcoin this Christmas only because of the sales. I don't do presents and gifts because it is just commercial bs. I just eat good food and stay with friends and family. People don't even have money but buy dumb shit for other people on Christmas putting them into even more debt. I am so glad I have never bee in debt in my life.

We have supporters should if anything buy crypto for people for the Christmas gift. Much more useful than whatever you wanted to buy them.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypt is now legal in Ukraine on: December 10, 2019, 06:36:42 PM
Why does it have to be "legal" you could always use crypto. Things don't need to be made legal. So if I create something it must become legal to be used? What a load nonsense. Is playing video games also legal in your country? Do they have to like write up laws to say it is legal? If I have something and want to trade it for something else I don't need to wait for anything to become legal I own them and can as I like with them.
This freaking FATF laws must also !@#$ off. How obsessed are these people? They act like everyone who owns crypto has some sort of link to the underworld  are laundering their money they have now stolen or some shit. My god what a bunch of bloody paranoid idiots. They just want your tax money and will use every excuse in the book to milk you of it.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After years in this space...I am now a BTC/ETH maximalist (Both are important) on: December 10, 2019, 12:05:44 AM
I definitely agree with that. I only buy btc and eth so far. I think they are really the most reliable cryptos. Besides, I want to focus on these two coins rather having many other coins. Its so hard to monitor. With only two coins I can manage it well aside from the fact that I still have my whole day regular job. Its really amazing how btc and eth had become this far, especially btc. And I'm so proud to have chosen them as my crypto coins now.

If this is the case, you could still use the other cryptocurrency aside from bitcoin and ethereum. Just try to maximize the potential of other cryptocurrency and to help them grow as bitcoin and ethereum does from time to time. I am using XRP to pay small unit transaction which I find efficient especially if I am withdrawing in exchange, I always take advantage of the low market transaction fees that it has. Then buy and invest in bitcoin and ethereum for profit.

I heard that some people are using XRP and some other alts to withdraw from an exchange in order to pay lower withdrawal fees, but imo they are just fooling themselves. Is it really profitable in the end, to first exchange your BTC to XRP on an exchange(certainly losing something in the process), then withdraw XRP, and then, what, exchange XRP back to BTC?  I seriously doubt that it's profitable.

Yes, it is. Some places charge up to $10 and if you withdraw as another currency you lose about $1 or so or even make a $1 it depends how the coin you exchanged to is doing. Then deposit into a place with law withdraw like Tradeogre I use and then exchange again and withdraw. You will save a few $$ If you trade in large amounts this amount is meaningless so it is really just for smaller withdraws.

The Ethereum is a big disappointment in my opinion. How much it suffers in price loss. Ethereum needs to get up again. Everyone is waiting to update. I think there will be a move after the update. However, Bitcoin needs to remain a little immobile.

We need ether for tokens though. Not that token is particularly good. Most are rubbish and scams. But still it is needed for gas fees.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto earnings on: December 09, 2019, 11:08:42 PM
Based on our country, you cannot actually get away from taxes in cryptocurrency conversion to fiats. How? Because if you have local exchanges, then that is the place where you need to convert your cryptocurrency. In this case, what you need is to pay transaction fees with taxes from conversions. What is good about it is that, if you have huge accumulation of cryptos, instead of converting, you could transact and pay in crypto without taxes.
What about peer to peer trades with a person from your country? He gives you cash, you send him Bitcoins. And you keep that cash at home, not deposit it to the bank because you might need to explain origin of money.
But I guess it's difficult to find buyer for large amounts of Bitcoins.

People who use to use people from local bitcoins might start a smaller group on social media so the people that bought in large amounts still are. Newer people will have a rougher time finding larger trades.
There is also the matter of safety and you risk being mugged or something. It probably won't happen but there is still that risk.

Dealing with taxes is annoying. There is no official law. How will taxation. I think it's best not to turn bitcoins into paper money. Direct trade with Bitcoin needs to become widespread. Bitcoin will take more place in our lives ...

Yes, we need direct trade to bypass these taxes. Depending on where you live some taxes are unrealistic and far too much. Other countries you feel ok paying tax since you get benefits like free health care and such. Unfortunately, not all countries are like that and often take advantage of the taxpayer.
250  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Faucets List Script :ExpressCrypto.io sites [Free] on: December 09, 2019, 10:38:01 PM
Updated to work with ExpressCrypto.io api  Roll Eyes

Great!! It is good to see the new micropayment website getting some traction and working so well before the death of FH. So when FH goes down then then sites like ExpressCrypto are already established.
The script is great thank you. Glad you updated it.
251  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Free Bitcoins .com | Faucet | Free satoshis every 10 minutes | on: December 09, 2019, 10:28:53 PM
A nice website. Very clean and easy to use with many currencies to choose from. The thread Ann is nice since more faucets don't even do an ann and the image you using here n the thread is attractive.
Why do you use google recaptcha and not something else that earns you profits? I thought you would want to squeeze and much out as you can?
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the most complicated thing about Bitcoin? on: December 09, 2019, 09:14:26 PM
I think one of the things that complicate bitcoin is the fact that you are totally in control and only have yourself to blame if something goes wrong. If you send coins to the wrong address or something like that then nothing can be done. Being in total control like that is not something people are used to and I feel they would rather pass that responsibility on to a third party and pay that third party to be responsible. Banks give people a feeling of safety that their money will be ok. I think wallets should make more of a deal over your transaction confirmations so that you don't send to the wrong address or get distracted. Make you solve a short puzzle or something so you know you awake and not fall asleep or too stressed to think. That's when people make mistakes.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream for bitcoin on: December 08, 2019, 06:08:26 PM
I believe in this with everything in life though not just bitcoin and finance. Total freedom to do as you wish so long as you hurt no one in doing so. No longer controlled by bs laws created by people that want to tell you what to do and not allow you to be free. Banning and censorship should be dead and almost everything made legal. I believe in the future we will see this and be more and more free to do as we want since massive corporations would step in if the government got out of hand. I don't really believe that we would have a central authority and that it will be shared. Of coarse respect and education is a must and hopefully, with that much freedom people will behave and not get into trouble since they are not as restrained. Socialism is a nice word for communism and capitalism creates slave exploitation. Liberalism is the way to go and the way crypto is going. To hell with a central authority and other controlling forces. Bitcoin is ours.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: my story: why bitcoin has failed (and keeps failing to this day) on: December 08, 2019, 05:22:02 PM
Dude what in the !@$%? Does anyone here have any idea what this person is rambling on about?

"Treating the market like a game to fight people is literally a felony" What???

"I've contacted the SEC,CTFC, and attorneys over this" You contacted these people because bitcoin jumped to 20k??

"aftermath of the psychopath who thinks it's their job to "punish" people for selling bitcoin" Huh

"I shouldn't have to be calling attorneys at my age (but I am)." Wtf kind of shit are you talking?

What is "it" what is this terrible crime you are talking about that you need to contact all these people for? Also buddy if you that young you shouldn't even be here. You clearly need help and need to be in school. You sound like you have been taking drugs and I mean the bad kind that comes off the street. Literally nothing you say makes sense and honestly, it's pretty disturbing. Get some sleep or something and stay of the booze or whatever it is you took before you posted whatever you call this. I am very very curious as to what is going on in your head. Absolutely fascinating. It is like you can create a fantasy world in your own head and then believe in it.

Right.... That's seriously enough internet for me for today. I started off watching cat videos talking to people on youtube and ended up replying to a lunatic on bitcointalk.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of Scammers if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency. on: December 08, 2019, 04:47:45 PM
Fiat has had this since it was created and there still scammers even after the trace them.  Roll Eyes Your topic is pointless.
Even if you trace someone who you say is a scammer it's still your claim. You still have to prove it in the eyes of the law and it is a long and painful process. Better just hire someone to break the persons knee caps and take what they owe you. This is what scammers deserve. The damn cowards.

Just to be absolutely sure you understand. The police sometimes know someone is a murderer and the murderer knows they know but they can do nothing without proper proof and things. Sometimes you just have to wait around for them to commit another crime and catch them in the act.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟 THE LIST OF Latest ICOs and AIRDROPs 🌟 Daily updates!🌟 on: December 08, 2019, 04:38:11 PM
Thanks for the list, good job making it and helping the rest of us with some decent airdrops. As a whole, the odds of these projects succeeding is higher and I see they are handpicked. It is a very nice website.
Still some projects don't convince me. If they have nothing to show or at least an actual plan that is going to happen then I am not interested unless it's due to speculation and that's what drives the price up to and you basically score off of a shitcoin.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [GAME] Coinleone - to be launched on early 2020 on: December 08, 2019, 04:28:35 PM
You need to offer your own currency that is the best way. If you use existing currency then you have to buy them. If you create the currency you can have as much of it as you want and hand it out at a certain rate to control the inflation. It would be more fun if it were your currency and it would cost you nothing so there is no reason not to do it. Though you have put quite a bit on your plate. Perhaps your eyes are too big for your stomach?
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 20 $ + Free coins on: December 03, 2019, 11:55:57 PM
Basically came upon a game which offers 20 $ + worth of their tokens when signing up through a refferal and completing the verification process. If anyone is interested dm me . It's legit , their tokens are tradeable on many exchanges , one of them being Kucoin .

In addition to the above questions:
What type of verification process process is required ? ( Better if it does not involve any personal document)
What type of game? Multiplayer, gambling, lottery ?

don't bet your personal documents for only $ 20, except KYC on a credible and trusted platform.

Yes, there is no way that they will give away $20 and let you just withdraw it. I think even if they ask for your KYC it is still unlikely you will be able to just draw an already listed token. There must be some sort of catch.
There has to be something else you have to do. I certain trade amount you have to reach or something. Now I wonder if the OP will come back and answer all this?
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto earnings on: December 03, 2019, 11:42:38 PM
Here basically you only pay tax on fiat if you earn over a certain amount so I keep under that amount and buy everything else with bitcoin or other crypto.

guys how to get around local tax laws and convert crypto earnings into legal fiat?
as of now, there is no bitcoin tax law in our country
in my opinion its ok not to report it if your only converting small amount of bitcoin to fiat
but still, ask for some legal advice in your country
because in some country, if you sell some Bitcoin at a profit that you purchased in the last few years
you will have to report short term capital gains on your tax return and pay ordinary income tax rates.

Even with short term capital gains, it becomes difficult. How do you know what it was worth when bought? Or received? Do you take a recording of the value for a website and screenshot it or what? Or would they look it up? I don't think they know about crypto and will just take your word for it. It's not so easy. There are also many other things to consider. Also, capital gains are not income tax it's taxed differently.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade Bitcoin - AVOID "Get Rich Quick" Shit Coin Pump and Dump on: December 02, 2019, 11:47:43 PM
I don't know why a lot of people are fond of these get rich quick kind of thing. As long as I'm making an income I feel is okay, I wouldn't bother too much.

It's just like some of my friends that are always looking for a means faster means of getting rich. None of them have agreed to invest in Bitcoin because I told them that there is no guarantee the price will go up and that bitcoin is risky, you can lose at anytime. They all thought at first that the price of Bitcoin keeps going up and there is nothing like loss, but since that's not it, they have decided to stay clear from it. Investing in Bitcoin is all about having patience and investing what you can afford to lose.

They say they want to make money but their eyes go all big and oxygen fails to run to their head and they buy into the crap and start buying shitcoins will not purpose since they think they can just dump it during the pump that is apparently going to happen. No real investor gambles on such crap. This is a scam and like HYIP. They annoyed after they lose their money but they want the money right now so when good projects are around they don't pay attention because "the return is not good enough" I think that people like to lose their money.
