I haven't adjusted to the current prices however once the group buy is done either you can get more or I will refund the difference. All in all you will only be paying is $85 plus shipping.

246  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Introduction to DualMiner USB (could mine both BTC and LTC) on: March 04, 2014, 11:26:40 PM
Can anyone with a similar rig comment on stability? How often do you need physical access to your rig, and why?

Software updates will bring more stability. Stay away from windows. I currently have 99 DMs running on a Pi for over 72 hours without any failures. I was having issues for a while where a DM or two would go down and I would have to have physical access to the hubs to fix the issue. After running only 9 DMs per orico p10-u2 and some new software (still testing, should be committed to git soon) I haven't had any fail. My only downtimes have been me moving pools. Once everything is configured properly you shouldn't need physical access often.

I got 18 right now on a 49 port hub. on a windows machine with NO downtime.

A professional multipool from the creator of BTC Guild

OOO he says Professional..  Shocked Whats part of bitcoin is that?  Grin Tongue

3 years of experience running mining pools, 2.5 years running one of the top 3 (holding top spot for almost a full year) mining pools, and 2 of those years where my sole source of income was from it.  Custom backends, frontends, and DB schema rather than some github pool-in-a-box.

You know we are just messing with you.  Tongue Keep up the good work.

where is everyone staying as far as in lodging?

Way the hell down in San Marcos, because Austin is stupid expensive. Saved about $200 flying into San Antonio instead of Austin, too.

Also! HOLY CRAP! Am I going to finally meet Emperor Goat in person?

Ha, You will be disappointed to find out I'm just a normal computer nerd and not the god like troll I pretend to be on the internet Smiley

Look forward to meeting you all:)

But that computer nerd has a lambo. Shocked

I wasn't able to get my toy finished to drive up there. So the regular daily driver will be in use.  Cry

*NOTE* For those that are driving in please be careful. The roads will be slick.

As my self had a few group buy batches for the dualminers  I will say that it can be a gain or a loss. A lot of it is trust. Good luck with your group buy. Cool
253  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Open - Group Buy]Dualminer USB ASIC sha/scrypt miner $85 [USA Only][Batch #3] on: March 04, 2014, 03:19:20 AM

If total amount will allow you to get another unit then another unit will be added to your order or i will just refund you the difference.
Come on people we only need 100 units total this go around.

@ Dev, could you please add Auroracoin to the pool. It is currenty one of the most profitable coins to mine.

Would be nice to have that.

Agreed, I'm curious how quickly new profitable coins will be added.

He can add coins faster than you can download the wallet for it. Shocked

I am now offering hosting as well.

BTC0.005 per device per year.

This sounds like a good deal. Can you explain more. Do you mine where we tell you to or how does that work?
yep I will point to your pool of choice.

Is there a min/max. Right now I have a couple that I don't have a USB hub for. Could I send you those? I may be up for one or more for this group buy. Can we add to the hosting over time? Lastly, what happens after a year (I realize it may be too soon to answer that).

Sorry for the deluge of questions, but I am very much interested.

Its all good.
min of units? 100 units for this batch.
If you want to send them to me you will be paying shipping to me. Once your time is close to expire you will get a notice and either pay for more hosting or have your miners shipped back to you.

100 units total for the batch, right? Not 100 units each. Just want to clear that up.

100 units total for the batch.
