The only problem is you need to attach one side to a motherboard. This adapter was primarily made to use 2 power supplies for one computer system. It splits power off the first atx to feed a dummy load to the 2nd atx, but you need the first to be connected to a motherboard. The dummy plug is much better as it shorts the 2 correct wires to simulate the load, besides not being restricted to having your 2nd psu 14 inches next to the first one. Not true on ("The only problem is you need to attach one side to a motherboard"). If you had one of those plus the dummy plug then you will not need a MoBo. Still cheaper with 2 dummy plugs though.  If you had the $5 dummy plug to plug one side so you dont need a motherboard, then why would you buy the $12 wire adapter? LOL . that would be a good question. |

HEY, ask your supplier to drop the price so that you could sell for $65!  They will start flying like hot pancakes. On the other note, there is too little information on these. Also 5-chip look interesting but OMG initial investment. Once these chips prove to be stable, the orders will speed up (and prices hopefully come down, instead of climbing like mad on ATI cards). I am sure they would sell better. |

ScryptGuild alpha is tentatively scheduled to start on Friday. After encountering a number of setbacks from code I wrote while sick (always seems like a good idea at the time), I've fixed the problems that prevented the launch last week. Some family is visiting this week, so I'm holding off on launch until the weekend. As such, the alpha will probably look much nicer than originally planned.
Cant wait to point my miners to scrypt guild. |
