The future of P2E is still unknown.

It can be like the crowdfunding craze before that eventually have died but we don't know if things have changed completely.
The P2E trend is falling and is no longer as interesting as before. P2E games today, the purpose is just to generate tokens and NFTs to buy and sell for profit, not real entertainment. But if in the long run, now traditional game publishers are looking to cooperate with blockchain companies to bring them together, then I believe the P2E trend will return and get stronger and stronger.
Recently, the popular game  PUBG announced a partnership with Solana to build and develop games based on blockchain. I think P2E is not just a trend that will disappear forever, it will come back and continue to grow.
2402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: World Cup Groups. on: April 08, 2022, 09:47:18 AM
Coaches like Austin Eguavoen make me want to hate local coaches, that guys doesn't know what he's doing. The last time Nigerian went out of the AFCON shamefully was when he was in charge same as not qualifying for the world cup finals. I strongly want local coaches as I believe they're our best bet in getting the best out of the players since they'll understand them better instead of foreign coaches but we should actually give opportunity to coaches with great tactic and not merely based on high ranking.
The draws for the world cup games are in and in my opinion senagal has the easiest draw. They can easily defeat other team member in group A expect Netherlands. Ghana has a hungry Ronaldo to face, that'll be a tough group. The official soundtrack for the World cup is out and an African was also represented on the playlist.
Well, he couldn't have said it better, I've seen before that some people don't really highlight the style of the African teams, the truth is I wanted to see Nigeria in the World Cup, since I was little I saw a World Cup where Nigeria shone a lot and the way they they made their football they fell in love.
Now the Ghanaian team I hope they continue to wear that team with the white shirt for the World Cup that makes them stand out and at the same time show that power they have. On the other hand, I think Senegal can beat the Netherlands.

The problem is in a lot of cases, people really don't want to trust the local coaches because obviously there are better options and people think that is the way to go and it obviously could be. but it is true that the where local coaches will understand a problem, The other coaches will not, and even if they do it will take longer.

I think Ghana is not going to win against Portugal. Portugal really seems to be hungry to achieve great things in the world cup. I am not saying that they will surely achieve whatever they want but they are going to try better.

Senegal beats the Netherlands is another one. You know, there was a time when the Netherlands team was one of the best but now those days are long gone.
2403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Transfering Funds to Another Network on: April 08, 2022, 05:10:10 AM
Option 1:
Deposit to CEX (centralized exchange) that support cross chain withdrawals. Most CEX do that. For example binance or even hotbit:
For me, this is a good option for most of the chains these days. I already tried bridge on some networks and used CEX (centralized exchange) as a bridge.
Especially if you are transferring a low amount of funds in the bridge, you will just eat by transaction fees because there are some bridge that the fees are fixed not based on the percentage you bridge.
Another thing to consider is non-user/newbie friendly using bridge platforms, especially if you are that non-techy or newbie on these things, you will find some difficulties.

Most of the market participants will have an account on CEX so to make it simpler and avoid the risk of transfering to another network, CEX is a great option. In addition to transaction fees, when we use the bridge it will be quite difficult for new users because manipulating more steps can lead to confusion and loss of money. I only use bridge platforms when my holding tokens are not listed on CEX.
2404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this true? on: April 08, 2022, 04:45:05 AM
Some new projects released in the bear market are indeed more profitable when compared to projects that have been in the bull market for a long time, but new projects that are present we are more at risk because there are many scamers, so before participating in a new project we must open a whiterepaper and team performance if it is worth it for us to follow then never hesitate to spend the capital we have.

It's not like that either, it would not be a wise decision to release the project in a bear market. If the market sinks into a prolonged bear season, it could kill the project as it is not easy to attract capital as well as users.

If the project is serious, we will make a big profit when the market rebounds but we will easily lose if the project does not survive the bear season. High risk, so better choose bitcoin and topcoins to hold in bear market.
2405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They say hardware wallets are the safest on: April 07, 2022, 03:01:23 PM
What do you mean by hardware wallet?
Look at this list, I did not find a link to the English version from Ratimov
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5282371.0
The biggest advantage of a hardware wallet is that it is perfectly protected from viruses. The hardware wallet is also well protected from theft if you use the 25th word or passphrase.Users lose money because they neglect security due to various inconveniences.
Hardware wallets will avoid hacker or virus attacks when your computer is hacked, that's the biggest advantage I've seen with hardware wallets. 25th word or passphrase as far as I know there are some software wallets that have also applied them. As far as I remember correctly, the Safepal software wallet gives the option to the user with a 13th word or a passphrase when the user has a need for more security. And if you accidentally forget or lose them, it also means that the other 12 words will not be able to help you get your property back.
2406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel if satoshi back on: April 07, 2022, 02:48:01 PM
If he reappears, I will be very disappointed, since the decentralization characteristic will become inaccurate if he decides to interfere with the protocol that he created from the start.

I don't quite understand why he needs to do this? From what I have already learned about bitcoin, it seems to me that the system works perfectly smoothly without him. And I'm sure that was his goal. Why should he even theoretically destroy it? If he wants to sell his bitcoins, he can do so at any time, as he could before. I don't think he intends to sell a lot at once, because he understands the consequences for the market.
Following the same logic, why would he come back and reveal his identity? Selling his holdings will destroy the market, i don't also see a valid reason for him to appear again .

Selling the bitcoin he holds won't destroy the market, Bitcoin is now controlled by the whole community and his sale will be similar to that of other sharks in the market. It will have a big impact on the market, Bitcoin will probably fall very deeply but won't crash forever. Instead, it will be an opportunity for many other people to buy goods at a cheaper price.
But I agree with you that there is no reason for him to come back at this point.
2407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to store your keys? on: April 07, 2022, 02:30:22 PM
Wouldn't it be much better if I memorized my backup phrase? or write it down and leave 3 blanks words or phrase which you memorized in that way even if attackers find your phrase they would not be able to open your account. I have this question for a long time, what could be the advantage and disadvantage of this?

I write them all down in a notebook and keep them in a safe and a copy in what I consider safe to me. I don't leave 3 words blank instead I swap the places of some words and my task is to remember exactly the words that I swapped places.

Your method is pretty cool too, but if you only have one bitcoin wallet it's very easy to memorize those blank words, but let's say a person has many different bitcoin wallets it becomes difficult because we cannot remember all those blanks words.
2408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all cryptocurrencies merged together? on: April 07, 2022, 09:17:50 AM
Not all coins are the same, each coin will have its own mission and function.

Don't expect and hope all crypto merge together, this will kill the crypto industry as it takes away the competition and innovation of each coin. We should remember that cryptocurrencies got where they are today thanks to the fierce elimination of the market created and only really good coins can survive.
2409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 06, 2022, 10:29:39 AM
In my opinion, Erling Haaland and Harry Kane both are not going to be going to Manchester City because obviously one of them will see some bench time. and I am sure that none of them likes to sit on the bench. I heard Erling Haaland is being pursued by Manchester City.

https://www.si.com/soccer/manchestercity/transfer-rumours/from-germany-manchester-city-become-favourites-to-sign-erling-haaland

I think that Real Madrid will probably take a look at Harry Kane. that's obviously judging by mbappe staying at PSG and Erling Haaland moving to Manchester City.

I also heard several rumors today about Haaland and Kane, that City would like to have both? Apparently they were already trying to get Kane last summer, but that didn't work out with Tottenham. I thought that Haaland might also go to Madrid, I don't think City is a team for him at all.
What's the point? And where do you know this rumor?
There is no way that Man City to sign both Haaland and Kane. If Haaland goes to Man City, Kane probably won't have an idea to join them. Haaland and Kane are center-forwards (CF), and both want to play regularly. They don't want to share the same position and are eager to sit on the bench. While Man City only needs 1 CF for their regular formation.

I really don't understand what is the problem with Bangladesh batsmen in test cricket. do they need to go to the restroom right after they come to the crease?

I really don't understand what is the problem. it's not like we don't have good enough players to play test cricket. we do have there like Mushfiqur Rahim, Mominul Haque and others who can play really well. in my opinion I think it's just the mentality because they are playing more freely in oneday internationals and T20. But in Test cricket, I think they are under a certain pressure to prove themselves.
After watching highlights of this match I am feeling there were no problems with Bangladesh batting it's all about umpiring which kill their dream of first win in this match in presence of the latest technology and all things still decisions like these are not acceptable and surely ICC needs to act with some stick hands because we can't afford things like these in test cricket if we want to bring some good interesting results and better crowd.

Hopefully now after complaint from BCB, ICC will think again about neutral umpiring and give some better use of technology as well because it needs some quick and better response if you want positive things in test cricket. Maharaj was hero for South Africa in their first win in this series, congrats to them for their this win.

As a Bangladesh cricket fan, I think nothing hurts me more to see the Bangladesh cricket team getting out because of Bullshit decisions.

But at the same time, I have to say that they got all out for only 53. If it was 200 then I would have said it was absolutely the fault of the umpires but in this case, I really have to say the Bangladesh team needs to get better first. you just cannot get all out for only 53 runs and expect everyone to believe that it was the fault of the umpires and without these decisions, they would have won the match.
2411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 05, 2022, 03:40:42 AM
Real Madrid are going to need five more wins and a draw in the worst case to be able to announce their championship in the La Liga. Because if Barcelona win their missing game, they will need this. Barcelona would fight for the championship as long as they have the chance for it mathematically. They have been on a very impressive run for too many weeks and this raises their self-confidence a lot for certain. I still don't think that Real Madrid will lose their championship chance though but it is still possible indeed.
I am quite optimistic that Real Madrid can win the La Liga trophy this season, Real Madrid will not let Barcelona take their place. Even after
Real Madrid was defeated by Barcelona, Real Madrid immediately got up and won against Celta. Real Madrid are an experienced team,
so they know how to win the competition with Barcelona in La Liga. I doubt Barcelona can win all the remaining games anyway, at least Barcelona
there is also the possibility of dropping points in some games. Moreover, Barcelona still have to play in the Europa League, this cannot make Barcelona
fully focus on La Liga. So most likely this season the La Liga trophy belongs to Real Madrid, but since it is theoretically possible for Barcelona
to catch up with Real Madrid's points, then we have to see until the end of the season to confirm the winner of the La Liga trophy.

I don't expect Barcelona to win the La Liga title because honestly the points difference is too big and I don't expect Barcelona to overcome that.

But, Barcelona will surely get closer to Real Madrid in terms of points. I think the main target of Barcelona right now is the Europa League Trophy and holding onto the position that they have in La Liga right now. And I don't expect Barcelona to go for the La Liga title because in that way they might also lose the Europa League Trophy too.

So, it's better for Barcelona to concentrate on the Europa League Trophy rather than chasing something which doesn't seem to be reachable at all. and I also do not expect Real Madrid to lose at such a point where Barcelona might have a chance to surpass them.
2412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League & 1. League 2021/22 Season on: April 05, 2022, 01:20:30 AM
Besiktas did try their best to come out as the winners of this match but they were unable to do so. I think Trabzonspor played well in that match. Trabzonspor broke the deadlock in the second half. After that Besiktas tried their best to score and they did. But they could not win the match. In the end, they really became desperate to win the match and started shooting and hoping for the best. The red card can also be proof of their desperation.

Did you watch the match or did you write comments by heart? Where did Trabzon play well in the match? Beşiktaş didn't even give a position. The only position they found was a goal. Beşiktaş was not given a clear penalty in the first half. Abdülkadir was not shown a red card. Djaniny and Cornelius were not shown yellow cards.  Siopis pulled Larin, stopped the dangerous attack, the referee didn't call the foul for a long time. What does the red card have to do with what you said? If you haven't watched the match, don't leave meaningless comments here.

Ok, let me rephrase, that Besiktas could not defend worth anything. there seem to you forget about the opponent's attack from the right-wing.

And I would have said they played great in that match, unless they missed an easy chance where a player could not simply control the ball with his chest,  or maybe if the goalkeeper would have stayed at his line when he clearly had defenders trying to defend, or maybe don't do anything stupid after the opponent has missed a penalty, or maybe I'm just wrong.  Wink

I guess, having possession is everything. there is a reason why they are 8th.

Transfer rumours:

Egypt forward Mohamed Salah, 29, is close to agreeing a new contract which will keep him at Liverpool until the end of his career. Somewhat surprising news because so far there has been a lot of speculation that Salah is not happy with his salary in Liverpool and that he will surely leave the club. Has a salary agreement finally been reached?

I'm also a bit surprised here as the salary demands were the major issue getting in way of the contract extension. And haven't heard about any meeting happened since last reported when there weren't any developments progressing towards contract extension. I don't think so there is any update to the situation so I think situation is still the same.
According from https://www.dailymail.co.uk/ Mo Salah have been agree extended new contract with Liverpool until three years later and will get salary almost £500,000 each week. Have option extended 12 months later and make Salah keep several years on Anfield Stadium. Nice news for Liverpool fans trough play on 1st leg champion league quarter final after this agreement, I think is best salary value for Salah as Liverpool important player and look on how many goal scoring every year he looks got expensive salary. Now Liverpool have completed forward and not have to worry about Salah future because he keep extending on Liverpool again.

This is obviously really good news for Liverpool because mo Salah has been performing really well for them. there was a lot of talk about this situation if he is going to agree to the contract is being offered to him or not. it's really good to see that he is finally staying in Liverpool. now I don't think Liverpool is going to worry too much about their attack. so now I think ok if they are not going to be e making any e costly moves in the transfer market which obviously gives the other team some relaxation.

The Test match between Bangladesh and South Africa came to an end. As expected, South Africa won the match. To everyone's surprise, Bangladesh ended their second innings with just 53 runs. We know that Bangladesh is weak in Test format. But I did not think that they would end the innings with only 53 runs. Because they did a great job in the ODI series. Their batting was also good in the first innings.
In the second innings, the score of 5 batsmen in Bangladesh is zero. We know that South Africa is playing with their second-tier bowlers. Keshav Maharaj bowled 10 overs and took 7 wickets and Harmer took 3 wickets in 9 overs.
Bangladesh should be more focused on the test format. We are annoyed to see their terrible performance.

I really don't understand what is the problem with Bangladesh batsmen in test cricket. do they need to go to the restroom right after they come to the crease?

2415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: April 04, 2022, 04:20:03 PM
Chelsea lost 1-4 at home against a really weak team of the Premier League which shows their full focus is here in the Champions League and I think it is not going to be easy for Real Madrid.Real is still the favorite to qualify but I would be very careful to underestimate a team like Chelsea which has great potential especially in the attack area as they have some great players there while Real Madrid depends more on collective game play rather than having a great striker beside Benzema.
Anything can happen (even Bayern can lose with a big score) but it's hard to expect anything to be easy in a match between roughly equal teams. But I think we'll see a calm first leg without much tension - no one wants to take risks, plus the away goals advantage rule has been abolished. Most likely in the first game we will see "academic" football when the teams will not try to do the impossible, but will just play and find out who is stronger. But then in the second game, depending on the result of the first game, the game will be more interesting and maybe we will see all-ins, some unusual tactical decisions and other drama.

I really don't think that Real Madrid is still the favorite to qualify because I think Chelsea was playing that match with less important as they will have to face Real Madrid next in the Champions League.

and they really don't want their star players to be fatigued to play in that match.

But, I really don't think it also counts out Real Madrid from that much because they have performed really well on Big occasions multiple times. and who knows, Benzema might fire up again as he is available for that match!!
2416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: April 04, 2022, 03:00:17 PM
Barcelona did really well to achieve second place in the league table. I really don't think that they will be able to get close to Real Madrid even though they have won the match at hand, the points difference is just too big. But at the same time, there also needs to concentrate on staying away from the teams below. and they also need to concentrate on winning the Europa league because they really need the money. so, this is going to be a tricky decision for the coach.

We should not risk the entire squad (I mean, let out all the newcomers), I think the main players will sit on the bench, and then take to the field if necessary. I think now it's better for the team to rest and gain strength for more serious matches, but everything depends on the coach, maybe we'll see the full squad in the next match...
2417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 04, 2022, 01:15:10 PM
Australia women team has dominated in all of the ODI world cup. As a result they have won 7 ODI world cup until now. Australia had set a huge target today, England women team had the ability to chase the target. But none of them was able to contribute in the match with their batting, except Natalie Sciver. Australian openers Alyssa Healy has played a great innings today. She got both player of the match and player of the series award.
Australian Woman will win the World Cup this time as they are dominating every team. The innings of Alyssa Healy the Australian wicket keeper reminded me of the innings of Adam Gilchrist in the World Cup where he attacked everyone and was on a league on its own and with the bowlers Australia is having there is no way any team would chase 356 runs.
Healy made this a history with her individual score being the highest by any of the male or female cricketer in a world cup. Previously it was held by Adam Gilchrist for his scoring of 149 runs against Sri Lanka in the 2007 world cup. Previously former Australia cricketer Karen Rolton has the highest individual score by a women cricketer in a world cup for her 107* runs against India during the 2005 world cup final.

I am quite certain that the other women's cricket team is going to be really desperate to win against Australia because they really don't have any competition at the moment and I expect England to be the toughest competition for Australia. and yet England lost quite badly against Australia in the tournament. If the other women's team does not start performing really well I think the domination of the Australian women's cricket team is going to be going on for a long time.
2418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain.com Wallet KYC on: April 04, 2022, 04:29:54 AM
because blockchain.com is not jsut a custodial wallet but an exchange.
Blockchain.com is a non-custodial wallet and exchange.
Their wallet gives you the seed phrase and you have full control over your fund. Of course, I wouldn't recommend anyone to use blockchain.com. It's close source and we don't know whether the keys are stored on their server or not.
Based on what OP said, it looks like he was referring to the old era Blockchain.info wallet, which never gave one any back up phrase or seed phrase  that they could use to restore an account... Correct me if am wrong.

Yes, OP mentioned blockchain.info before, but now it has changed its name to blockchain.com. They are not like coinbase, they provide seed cluster for us and we have full control over our assets. But as OP said they started offering KYC, I think it's not secure anymore.
2419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is going to be bad for the Indian Bitcoin community on: April 04, 2022, 04:09:35 AM
I feel like the Indian government has just realized that there's nothing that can stop cryptocurrencies and people using it.
So they just thought of why not making money from the current situation instead. I guess they followed "Make hay while the sun shines" too seriously.
Only time can tell whether this decision that they have taken will be for their good or worse.

I think this is a bad decision, 30% tax is too high. This decision negatively affects investors in India, instead of people will fully fulfill their tax obligations, people will find ways to circumvent the law and evade taxes. Maybe they admit that they can't ban crypto and now their greed has surfaced. It is true that the government can never be trusted, they use all kinds of tricks to make their own profit.
2420  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach its all-time high? on: April 04, 2022, 03:54:34 AM
The Bitcoin economy is not the same with the fiat economy. The Bitcoin economy is solely dependent on demand. No other complications. And the good thing about Bitcoin is that its fundamental features don't change at all. The demand is based on something that doesn't change, something that is written in codes. The fiat economy has so many facets, one affecting the other.

I am willing to bet that $68,000 will be reached by 2023, even within the year.

I don't think it will happen within the year, maybe through the year or 2024. These days bitcoin has had a recovery but the upward momentum is not sustainable. This year when it comes to bitcoin movement, my personal view is sideways and accumulation rather than bullish.

Currently, crypto are a nascent market and the market capitalization is still very low compared to stocks, so in addition to supply and demand, this is also a price manipulation market.
