1441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 50% Down Move Incoming? on: December 29, 2022, 12:07:49 PM
I don't want to compare the current situation on the Bitcoin market with the 2018-2019 market. In 2018-2019, the bearish market lasted several months and the price started growing from 4K to 8-10K USD during the spring of 2019. I don't expect a massive price growth in the spring of 2023. The crypto winter will continue to 2025 and even beyond.
There's no point of drawing conclusions based on price patterns, that happened years ago. Of course that the possibility of the Bitcoin price dropping down to 8K USD is real. It's a bear market after all. A global recession is coming and the FUD is everywhere. The big investors simply don't see Bitcoin as a safe heaven.

I am not a believer in technical analysis but looking at the world economy and what is going on in the markets, I also predict another crash in 2023. Fed rates are falling, but the recession is closer than ever, even many countries have already into recession, so expectations of a bull run in 2023 are highly unlikely. I don't think bitcoin can drop to 8k, but 10k-12k is possible.

Honestly, not only big investors but even myself can say that bitcoin has never been a safe haven or a safe haven in times of crisis or inflation. Bitcoin has yet to reach that level, it needs more time to do so.
1442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin survived the Christmas market pressure on: December 29, 2022, 11:44:17 AM
We are at the 16K range for too long so it maybe a sign that we reached the bottom so if the right time comes then possibly next year the bull season may begin.
Don't be so quick to confirm it. You remember when bitcoin was at 18k-19k for a long time and people started to believe that we had bottomed and we were going to go up from here, and then the crash of FTX caused bitcoin to drop below $16k, making everyone's speculations and expectations completely wrong. Bitcoin has been above the $16k resistance for too long, but that doesn't mean we've finally bottomed out. Let's look at the outside situation, the economy, war, inflation... all are still negative so it's hard to expect that we have bottomed and the bull season will start from here.
We shouldn't consider it not going down anymore, but we shouldn't expect another FTX type of deal all the time neither. That happened and dropped the price and that's understandable but that doesn't mean that it is going to keep being like that forever neither, it would be pretty hard to keep it that way.

This is why I believe that we should be a bit more less expected of lower level stuff, could be a lot better in the long run. This is quite difficult to handle but we should be able to handle it in the long run. I personally do not expect another bottom because I am not expecting anything like FTX to happen again over and over, it would be pretty difficult.

I don't expect it, that's my prediction, even though we've had some big crashes this year, I feel like the bottom hasn't been set yet. People are still holding their bitcoins very tightly, and that's what the big players don't want, the smarter the investor, the fiercer the market. It is only when the weak hands are completely eliminated from the market that we will be able to see a strong recovery. The market is still not wholly dependent on supply and demand to develop, it is still being manipulated by those with the most money, IMO.

Luka Doncic is magical! I don't think he is human.  Grin
A 9-point lead by the Knicks in regulation with 33 seconds left in the 4th quarter. Mavs trapped them every play, tied the game and they took it to overtime. That last shot by Luka was so unbelievable it will probably be in the best highlights forever. (including his reaction)
Overtime was mostly Mavs, they won it there.
Two weeks ago we saw Jokic join the legends with 40/27/10 and now here is Luka 60/21/10. A new record in NBA.

Good night Dallas.
It was an unbelievable game yet very impressive, after all it's Luka Magic.
The Dallas Mavericks intentionally let the New York Knicks dictate the game and own the whole 1st half while Luka and the others was just tailing closely and answering every shot that the other team made without taking the lead. It's like they are letting the Knicks thinking that they will own the whole game but the Mavs took the lead in the 2nd half up until the overtime.
Historical game. Can't really imagine that Luka is still a 23 years old.

The performance of Luka in this match was absolutely outstanding. It is absolutely unbelievable that a player could score 60 points in such a short amount of time. He carried his team on his own. Despite the fact that he is just 23 years old, this guy plays like he is the best player in the world. His performance was undeniably match-winning for his team.

As well as that, I would also like to mention that initially, it seemed as if both teams were doing a very good job. After that, however, things changed in a matter of seconds, and Luca was able to destroy them in a matter of minutes.

It's good to see that bochum is slowly improving its performance and it has better result compared with schalke. Schalke was changing its coach again and again. It's so difficult to get out from the relegation zone with the current performance from schalke. It has a very big cap to the hertha as a team who placed at the above stuttgart. I think that schalke needs to win the rest of match to make sure if it can go up again to the middle place of standing. Schalke has signed niklas tauer but i don't even think he will change the situation in schalke. He will become a new midfielder for schalke but yeah we didn't know whether that will be solving the problems that faces by schalke or it will remain the same.
On 2022 Schalke has changing manager 3 times but seems it cannot makes their position better even no big changes for this team that Schalke is still weak and lose for almost each matches and the current manager Thomas Reis also cannot do more that Schalke is still the team with lack of productivity and this is also the caused why Schalke very hard to gets the winning results until week 15

About Bochum their performance were slightly better after having new manager and when Bundesliga starting again most of the players hopes they can managed their performance and avoiding relegation zone and their next opponent is Hertha Berlin and they are not strong opponent so although is hard but there is a chance for Bochum to earn 3 points from Hertha Berlin especially Bochum was performing well during playing at home but one thing for sure Bochum have to improved their defense and it's necessary because their defensive lines is one of the worst in Bundesliga

In my opinion, it is going to be really hard for Schalke to get off the relegation zone this season as they have been performing very poorly which was not expected of them. I think that their next three or four matches will determine whether they will stay in the relegation zone or not.

But in contrast, Bochum have improved a lot compared to them as Bochum have won four games but Schalke have only won two. I personally think that Bochum might be able to get off the relegation zone but it will be very tough for Schalke to do so.

1446  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the bottom of Bitcoin? on: December 26, 2022, 10:28:46 AM
The current price of Bitcoin is hovering around $18000. Just pumped a bit today. Bitcoin price has been using $1700 as support for the past few days.
Could the price of Bitcoin fall further?
What do you think about this?
Their is every tendency that the price of Bitcoin will continue to fall again, but the problem is that nobody knows if the price will continue fall or not. Concerning the bottom of Bitcoin it can only falls immensely when their is no much demand, but when their is demand that indicates that the price of Bitcoin will continue to increase higher. Right now the price of is unpredictable. I heard some people saying that bitcoin price will get to 5k before it will be confirmed that it has gotten to the bottom lines, so from my perspective, it's very obvious that it's difficult for Bitcoin get to such values in price, and if anything should take Bitcoin to that price level, that means it will take more years before will ressurect.

I haven't seen any predictions as low as that, 5k is really an extremely low price for bitcoin, and to make things so bad, a big crash is required. You got me thinking about binance, only the crash of binance can cause bitcoin to plummet, and it will be the longest winter we have ever experienced. But I don't think it will happen.
My prediction would be $12k or, even worse $10k, for me, it's already very low and the probability of it happening is also considered very unlikely.
1447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 26, 2022, 10:06:18 AM
Even on papers Liverpool is very strong side, and they can do good against Aston Villa but now after arrival of Emery Aston Villa performance is impressive, and they can give tough challenge even both teams are missing their few star players but still it's never been easy game for both for full three points which are important for the Liverpool because they are currently at sixth and in case of lost any point they can drop from this position as well which will be not good for them.
As Chelsea and Manchester United both are putting their full strength for the European competitions and Liverpool is also already have not good start of the season with their average performance, hopefully now they will be improved and have better results.
I haven't checked Liverpool news lately but I think their injured players must be recovered by now. If so, then I think Liverpool can bounce back and climb up the table. They are definitely a great squad and can easily beat Aston Villa at its current state. Liverpool should be targetting to atleast make it into top 4 and I think this is the perfect point to start climbing up the table. Hopefully there aren't any those moments where they are beaten by underdogs as it will drag them down further on the table.
liverpool has a big list of injured players, they have luis diaz injured, they have diogo jota injured, they have roberto firmino injured, in practice liverpool is with only 30% of good capacity in attack, they have the Arthur who is a defender is injured, they have Virgil van Dijk in doubt, who is also an excellent defender, they have Trent Alexander-Arnold in doubt who is also another great player, they have Curtis Jones injured, that and another striker who will not play, they have James Milner who is a midfielder and is in doubt, they have Ibrahima Konaté who is a defender and is traveling and will not play, liverpool comes to this game very lacking and honestly I see the liverpool losing points in this game

Liverpool should be able to win against Aston Villa in this match. But that's on paper Liverpool has not performed well this season at all. So it is going to be a hard prediction to make. At least it is going to be hard to say that Liverpool is going to win easily. Because Liverpool has lost a few matches that they really shouldn't have. So, I believe with the injuries that they are facing right now, it is going to be harder for them to win.

Liverpool did not have a good start to the season. But they cannot let that be the excuse for them to not finish at least in the top 3 positions. Liverpool will be able to perform better in the second half of this season in my opinion if they have the players available.
1448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 26, 2022, 05:08:19 AM
It looks like Enzo Fernandez's price of up to 200 million euros will not happen, considering that there are two players whose market value has skyrocketed lately Mbappe with 180 million euros and Haaland 170 million euros. Of course, the two clubs don't want a player whose transfer value exceeds their flagship player.
One of them will set a new transfer record. Paris SG has made the most expensive transfers in history with Neymar and Mbappe. In 2018 Neymar with 222€ Million Euros and in 2019 Mbappe with 180€ Million Euros. And if Haaland has won a few titles in England, then it is possible that he will change the league. His father said that Erling wants to win titles in every league. So far he has a few nice trophies at home, but the big titles are there yet.

I am quite sure that Erling Haaland will be the one to make a new transfer record. He is obviously not going to be loyal to one club. So he has the potential of making a record-breaking transfer. And I think there is another player who has the potential of doing that. That is Mbappé. These two are probably going to be their next Messi and Ronaldo. I know we have been predicting these types of things for a long time, but Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo actually end up outlasting them. But in this case, I think it’s going to be different and these two players will actually be there next, the best two in the world.
1449  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of Russian and Ukrain war on world economy on: December 25, 2022, 11:44:15 PM

Unfortunately, Ukraine could hardly be called a country with a strong army. We gave up our nuclear weapons in the 1990s in order to secure the world. We gave it to those who promised to respect and guarantee our safety. Russia. Now we do not have nuclear weapons, I do not think that it is worth restoring it and becoming a nuclear power again. But we need guarantees, and some help. It is joining NATO that is such a decision. Once again - not to create potential threats to Russia, but to protect against a real terrorist war against Ukraine by Russia, which has been going on for more than 8 years!

I don't know what was the cause of the last 8 years of war there, but as far as I know, Ukraine and Russia used to have a good time as brothers, if I'm wrong please correct me.

I agree with you that Ukraine's goal in joining NATO is not to become a potential threat to Russia. But I do not think that the goal of NATO members is peace, especially at the head of NATO is the US, one of the most belligerent countries in the world and always considers Russia as the biggest military rival.

So far, Ukraine has not received any consent from Nato to accept accession but only promises to consider it. They want to strain things and are ready to support you against Russia, and have you ever thought about their real goal?

Dortmund will be most likely to sell Bellingham next summer. They just don't want to sell him already now as they need him in the middle of the season. But in the summer they will have quite enough time to sell Bellingham and find another young and talented replacement for him. Dortmund bought Bellingham for 25 million euros but his selling price will be over 100 million euros. It is an enormous profit.  Grin
Dortmund and Ajax are like siblings in terms of the business model they adopt. Ajax are just Dortmund's champion version at the same time.  Cheesy
I think Ajax is a completely different case - even if Ajax wanted to keep the players it would be unrealistic as the Dutch title is worth nothing compared to top league titles. Plus Ajax is not seriously claiming to win the Champions League. Dortmund is a different case - their budget and status would be enough to keep the stars, but they prefer to get guaranteed transfer profits instead of chasing "unguaranteed" titles.

The problem with Dortmund is that they are not at all interested in bringing trophies for the club. All they care about is the money that they can bring in by selling the players. And if this continues they are not going to be able to bring in trophies in the future as well. And yes I also agree that they will be selling Jude Bellingham pretty soon. They know very well that they will be able to make good business by selling this player. They do this every time. They are going to raise another player in their place and if he is talented enough they are going to sell him for money again.
1451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 25, 2022, 01:40:27 PM
We will see how new president of Juventus will decide upon Allegri's future in the team. Because Agnelli himself was planning a long-term work relationship with Allegri before. But now Agnelli has resigned and we don't know what new president will do. There isn't any agreement with a new president yet as far as I know. Therefore Allegri still has time to continue to get positive results to be more convincing.
His Champions League performance was so horrible that he can make up for that by only putting up a strong fight until the end of the season. People will expect the team to be successful in the Serie A and Europa League both.
Allegri did a lot of bad thing in the management of Juventus and if he didnt leave them it would have ended really bad. Last two to three years were really bad and i hope someone who knows how to manage the club gets appointed as president. Juventus is still in bad shape and who knows with what they left the club in
allegri is even very safe in the juventus coaching chair, even the club president and ranks resigned in the last month but allegri position is still quite safe. maybe if allegri fails to make juventus finish in the top 4 this season his position as coach of juventus is in serious danger of being sacked. but previously juventus is currently managed by new president Maurizio Scanavino who was appointed recently after Andrea Agnelli resigned from his position. Meanwhile, Juventus will hold a big meeting or meeting to appoint new directors on January 18, 2023. The situation at Juventus is indeed very chaotic.
source : https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.goal.com/id/amp/berita/sosok-kuat-presiden-baru-juventus-pengganti-andrea-agnelli/bltbbc84a05c17c48a3

I believe that these are the reasons why Juventus were not doing well in the season towards the start. But right now I have to say they have improved their performance. They are currently in the third position on the table right now. But obviously, I think we can say that if they do not continue performing well like this they are going to drop positions on the table.

And remember when we heard that the coach of Juventus is not going to be replaced because Juventus had money problems? At that time I had some doubts that how can the problem of a club be so severe that they cannot even afford to sack their own coach? I know that they have problems regarding their financial situation but that cannot be so severe right? Allegro is not going to be fired.

Are you looking for free coins? As you said, it's the faucet, it's free. You can't expect a free thing to be of great value, if it were you, would you be willing to give someone a large amount of money without thinking? I bet even you wouldn't want to do that. So stop thinking that the crypto market is a place to give free or make money very easily, there is no such thing as a free lunch. It's the same in life outside, if you want to earn money, you have to work, no one gives money without asking and in the internet world too, to make money, you need to work hard.

As if the supporters of Russia / terrorism would not like to see Russia as a winner, but this will not happen Smiley
It is clear from the squealing - after the Kremlin terrorist regime collapses, they will merge, stop financing, shelter, help, the same international outcasts ... And this means the time will come to answer for the crimes ...
It's only a matter of time. The fact that Russia has engaged in ordinary primitive terror of PEACEFUL citizens in PEACEFUL cities of Ukraine, destroying infrastructure, residential buildings, hospitals, schools, maternity hospitals, .. is quite logical for the country of a cowardly terrorist. we know it.
This morning, on a day off, when there are a lot of people in the city, the Kremlin terrorists shelled the center of the city of Kherson, killing many civilians who were just going to shops, for a walk...

And if Russia has decided that it is possible to talk to us like that, it is sooo much mistaken. With each rocket, our hatred for this bastard regime only grows. With every dead defender of Ukraine, or a civilian, we accumulate anger and a desire for revenge. And we will survive the cold. Ukrainians are not primitive Muscovites, we are a hardworking people who are used to living on their land for themselves. Even after such massive bombardments, we almost completely restored the power system. Yes, there is no electricity 24x7 yet, but it will be! But Russia will never be again Smiley
Yes, I am sure that before Orthodox Christmas or New Years, international terrorists will deliver at least 1 more missile strike, cowardly, vile and mean, typical of the Russian world, "congratulating us." They will cheer us up with a victory over them Smiley
Now we will receive a new package of high-tech weapons, Russia will now gather another 100-200 thousand disposable citizens of Russia, on whom they do not care. And they'll just be slaughtered. But we will cope with this too ... But Russia and its accomplices will never wash the blood off their hands and there will be orders ....

My sincerest condolences for what is happening to the people of Ukraine, they did not deserve the loss of the war but if you stand up against the puppet government Volodymyr Zelensky nothing will happen to your country. I remember before the war, Russia warned Nato that expanding the bloc would destabilize Russia's security. Nato and Ukraine ignored those warnings and assumed that Russia would do nothing, your government underestimated Russia and then war broke out. I don't know if you see the malice of America and its allies, but to me, all that is happening today is caused by America, who wants war.
1454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 24, 2022, 09:09:18 PM
Xavi has done his best for barcelona in laliga where xavi was able to bring barcelona to the lead at the top of the standings. Lewandowski is an important player in Barcelona revival this season. he became the figure who contributed the most through the goals he scored to bring Barcelona to beat their opponents. Xavi will be able to bring Barcelona back strong in the coming seasons. He will become the next Pep Guardiola if Laporta trusts Xavi in a long project.
Talking about Xavi's success at Barcelona, then perhaps we also need to talk about their current statistics. I quoted something from one of the sources [1] to see how the Laliga team's statistics are. And sure enough, Barcelona seem to have the upper hand statistically and they are a top rated team. Not too different from Real Madrid, but I recognize Barcelona's advantage based on this.
Xavi is considered to have been able to make Barcelona improve more than the previous coach. Barcelona had a good game play and they seem to be getting into a rhythm again at the moment. The performances of Lewandowski, Dembele and Raphinha have made them have a strong attacker. But these statistics are also supported by good midfield, defense and attackers.

[1] https://www.whoscored.com/Regions/206/Tournaments/4/Seasons/9149/Stages/21073/TeamStatistics/Spain-LaLiga-2022-2023
The statistics you provide seem clear enough that Xavi is able to make Barcelona a stronger team, not only in Laliga but Barcelona can be even stronger in the champions league, but all of that requires a process which will not happen in one season. Xavi career will be good at Barcelona if he is able to present a trophy this season because the demands of fans are champions and champions, they don't know that all successful achievements will take a long time. barcelona has two opportunities to win trophy this season in the Europa League and Laliga. Laporta is very happy if Xavi is able to present the Laliga Trophy this season.

I think what @ginsan is trying to say is that recently a lot of coaches have not been able to do well with Barcelona. Barcelona actually struggled a lot to find a suitable coach who will be able to bring in good results for themselves. But Barcelona was not able to find anyone worthy. Until Xavi came as the coach of Barcelona.

With him being the coach of Barcelona, we could see an instant improvement in the performance of Barcelona. It is hard to actually say that he is the only reason for Barcelona's success. But it is also not going to be very wrong to say that he had a lot of influence in the recent success of Barcelona in La Liga.

I honestly think that he took a very sensible and realistic approach to everything. He understood that this squad is not going to be able to win everything. So, he chose a target which is the La Liga title and he is concentrating on that. .

Juventus wants to sell him with cheap price and it has not yet meet agreement with MU. It seems like arsenal has the biggest chance to get him. His contract will be expired very soon with juventus and juventus didn't wanna let him to go out with the free transfer status and try to sell him as soon as possible with another club. Rabiot has been performing so well during world cup. He might become under rated player with very cheap price at this moment.
Last season Manchester United almost signed Adrien Rabiot but were hampered by a salary request which is considered too high
If indeed Adrien Rabiot will be released in the next transfer window I think Manchester United will try to negotiate
Apart from that Chelsea is the 2nd club to want him I haven't heard that Arsenal want him.
Arsenal wants also to get him caused by his cheap transfer and salary consider his achievement in the world cup was so good and he has been contributing a lot to the club. that's why arsenal was also seeing him as a potential defender to be bought from juventus. I think that you can even check the latest news about him and arsenal has been leading the transfer to get him. Juventus didn't wanna sell him for free that's why juventus wanna try to make an agreement as soon as possible.
My first time to hear that if chelsea was also want him from juventus. I never heard that before but MU may also try to sign him a part from arsenal's effort.

Arsenal is trying to sign this player really badly. This player can strengthen the midfield of Arsenal very well. He is the center mid who does not cost too much money and his salary is also not something crazy like some other players. He is also not too old. Manchester United wanted to get him, but the talk between him and Manchester United did not go anywhere. So now Arsenal is trying to get him in the team quite desperately. We also have to remember that Arsenal have some injury problems in their team. So they will have to make some transfers very quickly. But is Juventas going to let him go?
1456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 24, 2022, 05:04:14 PM
Jaffna won the LPL once more (they have won all the three editions till now). I still don't have a very optimistic overview of the Lanka Premier League (LPL). They are still heavily dependent on the revenues from India. Sri Lanka is a small country of 20 million people, and unlike the case with Pakistan or Bangladesh, they don't have the capability to sustain their own franchise T20 league. And the economic situation in Sri Lanka is not good either.

In addition to these leagues such as LPL, PSL and BPL, why can't the boards come up with a combined league where the top 2 teams from each of the leagues participate? It can be a six-team league, with the top 2 clubs from LPL, 2 from PSL and 2 from BPL. Or it can be further expanded with one team each from Afghanistan and Nepal to make it a 8-team league.

There are just too many variables for a combined league to happen. Of course, the value of the currency of every country is different. And every cricket board is going to want different things from these tournaments. I don’t think the Bangladesh cricket board is at all interested in finding new players through the BPL. They just want to make some money. PSL was looking like it will improve rapidly. But after the current change of authority in Pakistan Cricket board, I wonder how things are going to turn out for them. And I don’t think these cricket boards make much revenue from these tournaments. And if they want to do something together they will have to give ICC a bigger revenue. But doing something like this is going to be very beneficial for cricket.

There was no confirmation about when sadio mane will be recoving from his injury. i have been always watching the latest news about him but it seems like there was no any news regarding his injury. Bayern must also face another harsh reality when it will not able to play with neuer as the main keeper for the bayern. Bayern has been linked with several players that will be replacing sadio mane since mane was still struggling with his injury. I hope that there will be another confirmation about when mane will able to play with bayern.
a big loss for Munich is not being able to field their best squad in the match at the beginning of the year. but Munich still has quite a few alternative players they can play with.
or maybe another alternative is to purchase in the winter transfer market. it could provide support for the squad currently plagued by injuries.
fortunately, at this time Munich still gets top in the standings. although several other teams are still very close to Munich. but I'm still optimistic that Munich will be undisputed for the Bundesliga trophy this season.
For the Bundesliga, I still believe they will be able to perform as usual even without their main players, but that becomes a problem when they are in the Champions League. The Champions League is a serious challenge for them, especially where they will meet big teams. Even in their match in the round of 16 they will face Paris Saint Germain, which we know PSG has a capable squad filled with star players.
With several players out of action, their only option is to make the most of the winter transfer market.

They are not going to have too many problems playing in the Bundesliga for sure. At this point, the Bundesliga is child’s play for them. Even if they play the second team, they will be able to win how many games in the Bundesliga. That is one of the main reasons why I think that they will not be able to produce a successful performance in the Champions League this year. Due to the fact that they have been on easy mode in the Bundesliga so far. There is no doubt that the Champions League is one of the toughest competitions in the world. It is quite certain that they are not going to be able to win the Champions League title. As a matter of fact, I think they won't even be able to beat PSG, let alone win.
1458  Economy / Speculation / Re: December Has always Proved to Be a Good Month For Cryptocurrency industry on: December 23, 2022, 02:11:32 AM
I know I am not pro or old here but I know little bit. I was saying that Bitcoin is just had always proven good start in December month and in first Quarter of New year and If history repeats than this will also be like God start of crypto Rally and I hope in this timeframe btc might go Upto 36k dollars before May crash.
We know that we cannot speculate Bitcoin price But I can say that as history repeats we can get chance and also a better judgement and it can be very risky.
That's Why Do your own research before putting money.

Relying on last year's chart or previous years' history to make predictions for bitcoin is not enough. Last December, we were in the bull season, so the bitcoin price increase was obvious. But this year, we are in bear season, and the economic crisis is a huge problem, so predicting the same months is entirely inaccurate. OP, you need to give your analysis instead of just a vague prediction, the market doesn't move in such an easily predictable way.
1459  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of Russian and Ukrain war on world economy on: December 23, 2022, 01:44:35 AM
The end of the war between Russia and Ukraine depends entirely on Putin, his entourage and the entire Russian people, who still support their government's military efforts to conquer the territory of Ukraine. Russia does not want an end to the war, and this must be said directly. It is enough for Russia to withdraw its occupying troops from Ukraine for this war to stop.

Yes, the Kremlin did not count on such tough resistance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the entire Ukrainian people. Before the invasion of Ukraine from the territory of Belarus, Russian troops were instructed to reach the outskirts of Kyiv within 48 hours. The armored power of eight Russian armies was never able to fulfill this criminal order, and after a month of fierce fighting, Russia was forced to hastily withdraw the remnants of its defeated armies from the central and northern part of Ukraine in order to save them from complete defeat.

To date, more than 100,000 Russian soldiers and officers have already died in Ukraine, more than 3,000 Russian tanks, about 6,000 armored vehicles, 282 aircraft, 267 helicopters, about 2,000 artillery systems, 412 MLRS and other military equipment have been destroyed, which Russia can no longer replenish in conditions of international sanctions.

The war continues as the withdrawal of troops from Ukraine will spell the end for the Putin regime. Therefore, they decided to delay the time of defeat, hoping only for a miracle.

The only miracle would be Republicans winning both chambers of Congress, as well as, the White House in the US. That would turn the tide of the war in Russia's favor. After all, Republicans in the US said they will cut off support to Ukraine if they win. Considering that the US is a major supporter of Ukraine, backing down at a later time would result in a complete disaster for world countries. I can't imagine how things are going to get worse once this happens.

Say bye-bye to the economy if Russia continues to escalate after it defeats Ukraine. It will probably attack Poland, Finland, Sweden and other neighboring countries (including those within the EU), greatly putting our world order at risk. Don't expect central banks to fix inflation, especially when Russia is disrupting the energy market. These are hard times we're living into, so we should be prepared for the worst. Who knows what will happen in 2023? Just my opinion Smiley

Republicans have stated that they will stop aid to Ukraine if they can control the House or both houses. I think those are statements intended to attract voters in their midterm elections, the possibility of them doing so is improbable. Regardless of which party is in power, the national interest must come first, or you will also be deposed if you harm the national interest. Russia is mired in war or economically lagging behind is beneficial to the US, no matter who comes to power, they will not ignore. But I still hope the Republicans come to power rather than Biden.
1460  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: December 22, 2022, 09:10:13 AM
My first obstacle to financial freedom is the government, they don't have enough job opportunities for people that is willing to work for them to be able to put food on their table, instead government comes up with harsh laws to control the citizens financial life by collaborating with financial institutes. That's why government in some countries banned cryptocurrency.

Corruption is a key factor, when the country is corrupt there will be less opportunity the common man to display his talent or skill in the society and achieve his goal, government cares less for citizens and only thinks in how to steal public funds and put their families in big positions in government, nepotism government.

What you say is what is happening in all countries, not your own problem. It is understandable that governments make strict laws because that is how they maintain their existence and how they govern us. If a society is not controlled and regulated, I assure you that it will first become more chaotic than developed.

Every country has corruption, if you are the government, you will be corrupt like them, that is human nature, and it is tough to eliminate completely. But I agree, a corrupt government is the cause of economic difficulties and people's miserable life.
