2401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 20, 2023, 02:52:17 PM

If Pakistan's most reliable batsman Suad Shakeel 208* had not given Pakistan a lead of 149 runs in the first innings, then it can be safely said that Pakistan would have definitely lost in their second innings. Because Pakistan already lost their valuable three wickets but if the run target was not 83 then Pakistan would have been under pressure and they would not have scored 279 runs in the second innings like Sri Lanka. But the positive point for Pakistan is that no matter how much the batting disaster happens, they will achieve the small target of 83 runs very easily and it can be assumed that Pakistan will win the test for sure.
Pakistani top batsmen performance was not good in first test and they should improve and should well set for second test to win the series. It happens in cricket that a batsman score high at once, but in the second match, he did not score and other batsmen do well job So, we cannot say that if saud Shakeel does not bat well in the next match, the score of the Pakistani team will not be good. Pakistan has long batting line including Babar, Imam, Agha, shan and Abdullah which average score history is good and i hope in the next match they will focus in their batting and will not let Sri Lanka bowlers to pick up their wicket easily. In Srilanka batsmens De silva is very dangerous and batted well in both ininings.

Even though I was not fully satisfied with the Pakistan team's performance, but still the end result is that they won the test Match. Pakistan played normal cricket but Srilanka played even worse. Saud Shakeel's innings of 208 not out runs were the difference between the two teams. Srilanka needs to focus on their batting and bowling in the coming matches.

The 2nd test at Colombo will start on July 24th. Since this is a two match test series, Pakistan cannot lose this series.

2403  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Rise of Crypto Gambling: What You Need to Know on: July 19, 2023, 11:59:34 PM
For ease deposit and withdrawal maybe there are some factors that user like this on crypto casino but sometimes there's issue of network congestion so I think this is also less concern with the users.

I never faced any issue of network congestion. Deposits and withdrawals are never delayed on blockchain network congestion but it is more often delayed by the casino if they are processed manually.

So what I really think the main concern of people regarding on crypto gambling is the accessibility since they can have fun wherever they go since online casino is present everywhere and they could just go online then play when they like to do it.

The easy access has made online gambling very popular and at the same time, crypto has helped a lot in getting the ease of deposits/withdrawal in the casino. The use of credit cards is more expensive and risk is also involved as the site can keep your credit card information, but by using cryptocurrencies one can deposit in an online casino without any hassle.
2404  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: July 19, 2023, 11:49:37 PM

So, yes or no, !? Smiley

The issue with the AI is that it reached a point of popularity that makes one believe that many changes will come, and surely they will be there, but in the matter of bets, the premise "the house wins..." will remain, on the other hand, any situation that arises in the online case has an impact on offline casinos resuming their old past of success.

The AI gambling is a fancy word that may be used by the casino more often in the near future.  Although even if the AI is implemented in a true sense in the casino, it still won't change anything. The casino will still have an upper hand and they will keep on winning. The gambler winning chances won't be increased though the casino will present AI in such a way that it is gambler friendly, but in reality, the AI will be implemented in a way that the gambling houses further strengthen their platform.
2405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you quit that's when you lose! on: July 19, 2023, 11:36:11 PM
There's a popular  remark among gamblers in the part of  my country I reside. The saying is expressed like this "if you quit that's when you lose".  They use this statement to encourage and give futuristic hope to themselves that no matter how much they loss today or how many wagers they have lost they don't need to quit as it's possible you may be the next jackpot winner tomorrow. For it's like say don't quit yet there may be a light at the end of the tunnel.

From what I observed from this statement is that, many of these gamblers have been misled by this very remark of a hypothetical hope which has liquidated their account.  While some who would have quit gambling long ago still hedge their hope on the idea behind the statement and keeps wagering.

Now let's take this to a discuss; how correct is this statement? And is there any similar statement like that in your home-country that's popularly used among gamblers to encourage themselves from quiting gambling because they're losing?
Or would you allow your decision to quit gambling to be affected by any popular statement among your fellow gamblers or it's a no no thing for you?

That's a rediculous statement and I live by this one "you have to know when to hold them and when to fold them".  Quiting isn't losing, continuing to lose is losing lol.  Chasing bad bets one after another is literally the reason why people go belly up.  If you lose move on there's another day.

I would say that quitting is actually booking your profits in case you are on the winning side and also quitting your game means saving you from more loses in case you are already losing.

Usually in gambling people think that it is an art if you are able to quit and also if you know to quit, means that you are not an gambling addict.

If you keep on playing and do not think of quitting, then for sure you will lose all your balance / money in gambling.
2406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Analyzing XRP's Potential: Can It Reach $1? on: July 19, 2023, 07:10:25 PM

Following Ripple's legal victory against the U.S. SEC, XRP's price nearly doubled. XRP has the potential to challenge the crucial $1 level in the upcoming days.
🔥However, the current outlook suggests limited strength in sustaining its rally further.
🔥If XRP successfully breach the $1 barrier, a potential target for September could hover around $1.35

For XRP to reach 1$ is not a big task and it will reach within a few weeks or days. XRP is already trading over 0.8$.

Also, note that XRP all-time high was over 3.5$ and I will not be surprised if XRP breaks its all-time high in the next bull market.

Coming to the sec case, it is not only a win for XRP but for the whole crypto community. There are many coins for whom SEC declared security but now I think SEC will have to reconsider its decision.
2407  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Turn Bitcoin into prepaid cards on: July 17, 2023, 06:03:23 PM
I will be damned if the two websites are even under the same management. I am more than sure Vitualvisa just did a copy and paste from Airwallex website.

Can you please mention the exact site name where they copied it?
Searching Airwallex website on Google leads me to https://www.airwallex.com/ but here I can't find the service for converting Bitcoins into prepaid cards.

Actually, i would be interested to know the legit site which offers this service, if there is any?
2408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: July 17, 2023, 05:44:44 PM
I am not a gambling addict but some friends are making me look like one because I gamble less and they gamble more,

Gambling less is good as you are not exposed to the game all the time and your portfolio is saved. However, gambling less may guarantee that you may lose less but it will not guarantee that you will win. Think of a situation where one person who gambles less and keeps on losing more games, will he be in profit, Never. He may be facing bad luck and since he gambles less, he loses less money as compared to if he had been addicted and lost everything.

Sometimes a person is having good luck and even being an addicted gambler, he keeps on winning most of the games. Again this does not happen often but there is a probability of this situation too.

It seems like there would be no official reply here or on the scam accusation as the Rollcat does seems interested to resolve any issues but they came only to scam the gamblers  Angry
You need to move on and forget about this loss. Better stay away from gambling for few days as currently you will be in bad state of mind and may do emotional gambling  (revenge gambling to recover the loss) on other sites too.
2410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 17, 2023, 03:52:43 PM
Sri Lanka turned the tide of the match in their favour. Pakistan's top order batsmen could not make much use of it. Prabath Jayasuriya took the important wickets of Pakistan batsman Babar Azam, Shafiq and Sarfaraz which was a plus point for Sri Lanka. With one of these three, it would have been a bit difficult for Sri Lanka to take the match in their favor. Rizwan should have been played in place of Sarfaraz in my opinion. Saud Shakeel and Agha salman are now at the crease, both of them are batting well and have put on a partnership of 78 runs.
Yeh some early on dismissal really damage Pakistani team moral, but credit goes to Siri Lankan Bowler who took such an import wickets to break down the momentum before it damage them, Pakistan lose wickets too quick that's why they face huge pressure, I taught that baber Gona control the situation just like he did always but today things are not in favour of him,  but thanks to Saud Shakeel and Salman Agha who took responsibility and through his spectacular partnership some how now it's look like Pakistan is in the game otherwise things are out of control, hope both will scored centuries or some decent runs which will help Pakistan to out of difficult situation

I am not satisfied with Pakistani batting duo Imamul Haque and Babar Azam these two players of Pakistani team are in form now. But they did not perform well today, especially if Babar Azam could score a century or a half century in this test match today, then the Pakistani team does not have to be under pressure in the last stage. But as usual today's match is not in their favor but for them Saud Shakeel and Salman these two batsmen can fill the void of the Pakistani team if the pair of the two survives.

I guess both the teams are playing almost similar cricket and none of the teams looking to be dominating this test match. Pakistan are trailing by only 91 runs while they still have 5 wickets in hand. This means that they will either get this target of 312 or maybe bowled out near that score, or perhaps surpass the score but the lead won't be any significant.

The good thing for the Pakistan team is that two set batsmen Saud Shakeel  and Agha Salman are at the crease and both have scored over 60+ runs. Srilanka may need to break this partnership quickly tomorrow so that they can expose the tail of Pakistan's Players.

2411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: July 17, 2023, 04:24:32 AM
I wasn't threaten by anybody but Myself ,

Back in the days when i am still super active in Physical gambling (as I live in a community where gambling is bread and butter and part of daily living)

there comes a time when i am thinking of what will happen to me and my family in the future as I never win big and keep losing .

my weekly payroll has been spending and risking for gambling and ending we only have enough for table and no savings at all.

then crypto come to my life in which made easy for me to connect in gambling but realized that I am missing more than half of my life , that is when i start accumulating crypto and lessen my gambling vices , and yes now I only gamble when i have spare money and not to seek to become instant millionaire .

Congratulations on your mind triumphing over the desire to get rich quick. Not all gamblers can make it.

I also had a time when I spent a lot of money on gambling because I could not control my desires. I realized that I was overstepping my bounds but gambling had a greater influence on me. Over time I learned to control myself and gamble for fun. But it took me a year.
it is really hard triumphant journey mate  but if we will only open our mind and soul we will find reason how to win over .
if we will consider those people who loves us and those people that rely on us? not to count our own future?
those reasons are more than enough to be a winner in your own battle.

I guess that no one can threat gamblers to stop the gamble. Usually, the gamblers are daring and if you argue with them, they may become furious and they may threaten you instead of you threatening them  Wink

My point of view is that you cannot stop anyone from gambling by threatening him. He/She may agree to quit gambling for the time being but will again gamble or maybe gamble hiddenly. The only way to stop people from becoming gambling addicts is to tell them nicely the bad effects of gambling and let them decide to quit or continue.
2412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling effects on LGBTQ+ People on: July 17, 2023, 04:05:27 AM

I disagree though, let me quote from the article,

Quote
According to Dr Bush-Evans, “life stressors” such as discrimination, social isolation and harassment can serve as triggers to push some LGBTQ+ individuals to gambling. The research is still ongoing. The results from the completed study are expected to be published later this year.

I doubt that what triggers LGBTQ to gambling has nothing to do with harassment, for me just like the rest of us. They want to enjoy and have fun and to some extend  win some money just like the rest of us.

Just last night I went to a traditional base gambling and saw some members of the LGBTGQ community and just simply playing, simply as that. I doubt that they are there because they feel isolated or something. In fact they are all laughing and I even saw them getting drunk and no one cares.

Well, I may quote another text from the article which clearly states that LGBTQ+ people face harassment in their life and casino is not different place where they do not face the same situation.

Quote
The study flagged that 71% of the interviewed LGBTQ+ adults admitted that they have experienced some form of discrimination or harassment in their life.

The complete case study and research will be published later this year and that report may reveal more shocking facts about this behavior by the society as a whole. I wish they come up with something to stop this act of people towards LGBTQ and treat them as a normal human being.
2413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 17, 2023, 03:40:17 AM
^^ They had their chances to bundle up Sri Lanka cheaply but spinners didn't play their part.

In fact, they looked quite toothless throughout the day, except for a few deliveries misbehaving due to uneven bounce. Close to 20 overs were lost due to rain, which kinda helped SL. Although the match is in balance for now and Pakistan can turn the tide in their favor if Shaheen digs in his first spell.

I would say that the match is tilted towards the Srilanka at the moment. They have managed to 242 runs with six wickets down whereas at one time even 200 was looking out of the question. Pakistan bowlers started well but they could not capitalize on that start. Dhananjaya de Silva deserves a century as he is not out 94, fighting brilliantly.

Again I would say that Pakistan's batting is not to be trusted and anything close to 300 runs chase could turn out to be a nightmare for them.

2414  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 17, 2023, 03:26:31 AM
-snip

But if ever the RLB team decided to create a buyback program, it will definitely help the market since it lessen the sell pressure at least.  I am still confused why Rollbit team does not implement the RLB buy back system when they are into Rollbots NFT buyback.

You should probably know by know that its a stupid idea. Why would they guarantee people to buy their tokens by making promise that they will buyback those token? its stupid. If you think that RLB will not make it then simply dont buy the token, its as simple as that. I personally sold most of my stash like 50% of the current price because I didnt think it will ever be this high in like a year or two but Im not complaining and feel satisfied with it

Buyback token is a marketing technique plus at the same time it helps in increasing the demand for the token and also it shows that the company care about its token and they are not interested to dump it on people. However, the initial thing to note is the use of the token and since RLB has the gambling site as a perfect use case, investment in this token can be a good one.

Anyways if you had held the RLB for another year, you might have got them sold at a good price. Bitcoin bull run and Altcoins season will make every coin pump again.
2415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is more important for crypto users? on: July 16, 2023, 01:30:10 PM
When the OP doesn't have the knowledge to spend his money then why start with gambling? this is indeed quite strange to me, it means that OP has absolutely no capacity to manage finances. You can imagine going into the world of gambling, maybe in a short time OP will easily lose a lot, can't
control the stakes and end up in ruin.

There are some people who think that making money through crypto is very easy and one way to do it is by gambling.
Then there are some people who think that trading cryptocurrencies is a good and convenient way to make money

What both groups of people do not realize is that making money through gambling and trading is highly risky. In fact I would say that making money through them is highly difficult. Yes, the returns are good but why do we forget the risk we put in, to get those returns  Huh
2416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 16, 2023, 12:11:31 PM
Bangladesh Women vs India Women, 1st ODI ICC Championship Match Bangladesh scored 152 runs batting first in the innings. Bangladesh played 43 overs for the loss of their entire wicket while India set a target of 153 runs for the women's team to win. Right now India women team has started batting and already they have lost 3 wickets. In this series, India women's team started batting and scored 42 runs, right from that time it started raining. And due to this rain the match has now been reduced to 44 overs where India will need only 112 runs to win. In this ICC Championship today if India can put up a good batting performance to win the match then they will win the match. And if Bangladesh Women's team can perform well in bowling then the match will be under a lot of pressure for India Women's team. However, it is still not possible to say with certainty which team will win the match, but India women's team is likely to win the series if they score 112 runs.
Bangladesh girls registered a comfortable 40-run win over Indian girls in a rain-interrupted first ODI. When the 50-over game was decided in 44 overs due to rain, the Bangladeshi girls batted first and managed to score 152 runs in 43 overs, losing all wickets, while the target for India was 153 runs. The target looked easy for India at first but later the Indian girls were bowled out for just 113 runs. As a result Bangladeshi girls got a great victory of 40 runs in the first ODI match. After losing the first two T20 matches, Bangladeshi girls came back well in the third T20 match. After finishing the T20 series, Bangladesh started well in the ODI series. Since Bangladesh won the first match, Bangladesh will have more chances to win the ODI series.

That was a surprise win by the Bangladesh women's cricket team. I thought that India Women were much better on paper but this DLS method turn out to be in favor of the Bangladesh team. Also, i heard the commentator was saying that this was the first ever win in an ODI by the Bangladesh Women's team against the Indian team.

The Indian batting completely collapsed in this match and they were all out at 113, something we would not have expected. Marufa Akter from Bangladesh took 4 wickets while Rabeya Khan took 3 wickets and made this game won for their team.

Recently research was held by Dr Reece Bush-Evans who told that online gambling could Hide the sexuality of the LGBTQ+ people and most of these people prefer online gambling as compared to physical gambling for obvious reasons.

The more important concern for the LGBTQ+ people is that they are being treated differently in a casino which may come under harassment. Also, the study says that people at the casino, the staff plus the public have shown discriminatory behavior towards these people.

New Research Explores Effect of Gambling on LGBTQ+ People
2418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between futures trading and gambling on: July 16, 2023, 10:27:43 AM
There are many gamblers that can gamble just to have some fun and make money in the process and there are some that focus on gambling only to make money so I would like to ask such people a question.

would you prefer to gamble in a casino and make some money or learn about futures trading and make some money?

Which one do you actually find to be more easier and I believe that futures trading is also capable of giving someone life-changing money but which one do you believe is less risky than the other?

Trading and gambling both are totally different, however, i may highlight the key difference between them.

Gambling requires no skill, you just deposit, bet and win or lose. The same goes for the casino games. Everything depends upon luck. Even a layman can understand gambling without any problem.

However, trading is a skill and future trading is even more difficult. Going into a future trade without a plan may end up losing all your portfolio. You need to understand the basis of the financial markets before you can understand and do the trading.
2419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 16, 2023, 07:42:48 AM
SL Vs PAK

SL- 53/3

Shaheen Afridi 8 overs 3 wickets
Shaheen Afridi can be a formidable form for this Test today which has already proved. If Sri Lanka can't deal with Shaheen Afridi's ball in a defensive mood then it will be difficult for Sri Lanka to get through today. Shaheen Afridi has already dismissed three of Sri Lanka's top-order batsmen who were fit to score enough runs for Sri Lanka.

Edited : SL 58/4

Again i would say a bad decision by the Sri Lanka to bat first. They could have bowled first and put the Pakistan batting lineup under pressure. Now the game is getting away from them because if Shaheen Afridi continues to get wickets, the Srilankan team may be bowled out under 200 runs.

All three top order batsmen were dismissed by Afridi including their captain Dimuth Karunaratne. How they are going to survive the rest of the day? That will be a question of the day in the Srilankan dressing room.
2420  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: July 16, 2023, 07:26:57 AM
But most users are not very honest so that the casino freezes more users' money trying to launder money through the casino, many cases that I often encounter on this forum also the casino will ask for an explanation of where the funds are used also ask the user to verify to validate that the user clean.

This also prevents the casino from being involved in money laundering cases and is considered to support criminal acts being subject to legal sanctions, but not many casinos want to return user money and only freeze the winnings, it is rarely found, if the user does not meet the requirements requested by the casino then the account will be suspended also the money will be confiscated by the casino.

How will casino know that the black money is being deposited on any casino ? No casino checks where the money is coming from. They only care how much they get the deposits from their gamblers. Similarly if the specific gambler ( who is also a money launderer), wins and wagers the minimum requirement and cash out on the different side, the casino never care as to which address the money is being transferred.

So i guess that casino have least interest in catching the money launderers. All they care about is how they can get more people to gamble and increase their bankroll.
