Hashcoin is not dead.....The coin itself is running fine and I didn't instamine anything. So fuck you GreekBitcoins ^^ I am right here and I haven't run off anywhere, I am busy with my other project Dreamcoin. Hashcoin is stable enough and running just fine to go out on its own. Instead of trolling this thread and crying like babies, you could be actually helping the coin and promoting it. Anyways Hashcoin is still running just fine. DGW V3 will be in effect soon. You should end POW in a few days and make it 100% POS. wtman. Why don't you just make your own coin and do whatever you like. The Dev just can't just change things in your favor man. I am holding over 70k HASH and still believe in it. Don't hate on DRM either. HASH will benefit from DRM's success since it's created by the same Dev and he will use his new fortune to make HASH a success also. If you're not patient enough just sell your HASH and move on. There's no point complaining in every thread. Yea makes sense but I asked him whether he can make it POS. he didn't say a NO though even maxcoin people are considering implementing POS, I don't see why it can't be implemented in hashcoin when the dev suggested he'd do everything he can to help hash All this while sell walls keep pushing price down and down on bittrex. If POS can help with exchange support and price, then why not? If he ends POW and makes it 100% POS. He will have to change the name of the coin. HASHcoin will be a joke without hashing. Also, I honestly do not think it will change the price due to there will be less support for the coin. If the Zerocoin devs work with the dreamcoin devs on this project then i'm sure they would want to keep the original name. However, since I believe it is unfinished and open source I think DRM dev could technically call it whatever he likes if i'm not mistaken. Obviously, this I think depends on the original creators and whether they get involved or not. As a "bagholder" of DRM my only worry is that the outside work dreamcoin dev has could impede the progress of this project, which is why it is basically essential that multiple devs who know what they are doing coding wise lend their help to this. (In other words, if you are an outsider reading this thread, and you know you have the skills to help...now is a great time to build your reputation to new heights! ) Yeah. The issue with keeping the original name "zerocoin" is if the original dev's decide to trademark it, we're SOL. If DRM dev tries to trademark it. It'll get rejected once the zerocoin devs file for it since they are the first to use that term. I think we should have our own term like how darkcoin has darksend. Dreamworks sounds good to me. It doesn't mean we can't advertise that DW is the completed version of zerocoin. This is gonna be sick when it's completed. Just thinking about it will lead to wet dreams! lol!!! This all sounds real great, can't wait. But the name could be something like Dreamsend, or similar since Dreamworks is film company. I will begin to work on the Promotional animation tomorrow, great things coming up

Yes, Dreamworks is a film company but we are in a different TM category so their trademark doesn't affect us. I really don't like "send" at the end because it could be read as "Dreams End" which is not a good thing. HaHa. There's no end for us, we're just starting! |

Yes, implementing Zerocoin into DRM is the highest priority. However, it looks like the Dream Pool will come first and will generate the funding for it and keep prices stabilized.

Attention Dreamers:Since this would be community funded, I will pose this question to the Dreamcoin supporters first to gauge interest. Would all of you like a crypto news/internet radio station that obviously plays music and gives some updated information regarding the progress of DRM and it's followers? This is a service that I am currently in negotiations with to give those of us in the digital money industry a means to both update/advertise and provide some music while mining or browsing the web. If this is something that the growing #Dreamcoin community is interested in please let me know. This is obviously new territory for the future of money, yet is something I can see as a growing market and means to gain attention to coins in a positive way.
We would be looking at a very low donation cost to start, for example 0.2 BTC which would pay for both the service and subscriber base of roughly 100-200 people to start off with. After this the DJ i'm working with could help supplement fee's to provide the service via possible advertising from other coins, or a more standard advertising approach.
If this is something you all would be interested in, including Dreamcoin's Dev, please leave your feedback and any ideas to improve or add to this service on this thread. I, as many of you know work with many dev teams, and I think we could have a great service in this avenue. If this turns out to be a project you all want, I would ask the DRM dev to post on the ANN OP a btc address for the "Internet Radio/News" station. The name of the station isn't finalized and is something I'm helping the DJ with. Once the goal of .2 btc is met I'll contact the DJ and moving forward we can have the station do little blurbs about things the community feels are important to listeners. This is going to be an evolving project, so do not hesitate to help expand on the possibilities of this work.

While this is a nice idea, I like the sound of the "Dream Channel, Keeping your dreams alive!" I think any funds we can raise need to be targeted toward getting zerocoin working. I'm not sure if people realize how big of a deal that is. It is what will light the fire. Once it is in place this and other ideas should be implemented too. I agree. Priorities should be set on Zerocoin implementation and the Dream Pool. Everything else will then fall into place afterwards. |
