Hey guys. Which pool will you be using?

Hey guys. I have 4 280x running on phm sgminer 4.1 Yesterday I had about 8.2MH/s and I had to restart it this morning and now I'm getting only 7.3MH/s I can't seem to get it back to what it was. Anyone happen to know what I am doing wrong? Thank you.
Did you adjust the intensity after starting it last time and not update the start.bat or equivalent file? Hi. Thanks for the reply. No, all I did was download phm sgminer and ran it. After the restart it isn't performing as well as before. Frustrating. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I even deleted everything and did it again.

I keep hearing about ram and stuff. Is 4gb of ram good enough for 4-280x's? or do I need to run out to bestbuy and pick up some more?

IPOs, speak up about the exchanges. Our CEO listens to the community as we have seen. I say, lets wait until the store opens before we hit the exchanges and let's go for the big exchanges. Not the little ones that have been losing peoples coins or charging to be on it.
Quote me and agree or disagree. Let's keep this going so the CEO sees it! This is going to be the hottest coin launched in a while.

I'd like to visit one of these pools where they actually acknowledged it is a script-n coin. I can see it now.... I get set up with one of them and they aren't ready and I miss out.
you may setup and test your vertminer settings at http://gpu.pool.mn (it is currently mining panda scrypt-n coin for testing. When GPU Coin launches the pool will automatically switch to it, so you will not have to change anything) Good idea. Hopefully you pick up a lot of miners.

Ok, just saw that and read the full thread. I am exciged about ghis coin and I am sure I am not the only one who missed the IPO. Maybe if the community is OK with that and another guys agree to invest as well so that we get in total at least 10BTC would be nice for the project. I am quite sure demand for cards will be higher than initial quality which will be able to get bought with the money from the IPO, so IMO the more, the better. But anyway, I know I am late so I am asking for a fvour here, so decision is in the hands of dev and community. PS. I want to invest 1.5 BTC.
Sure. You can invest your 1.5BTC here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=496045.new#new

Just finished updating the IPO chart on the web page, so now back to answering e-mails.
Dev just finished the scrypt-n version so now we have both, whichever is released will depend entirely on the community driven poll. I'll shut the poll off at midnight which is the same time the IPO ends.
I think if the dev already has the scrypt-n version, you should just use it and forget the poll. Or if you are going to have a poll, only allow the IPOs to vote.

Thanks for all your support.
And since people got scared yesterday when I didn't respond to the IPO e-mails, I'm informing all that I'm heading to bed. Once I wake I'll get right back into things and continue getting everything ready for launch.
Is there any chance you could stock custom R9 290, like the Tri-X? Reference coolers are horrible. We were planning on stocking the ASUS R9 290 and already have an order for 10 in, which we will be increasing thanks to the all the new IPOs. ASUS Sick! I think I might have to up my IPO now.

That's fine if you don't want to release the wallet early. I have no desire to mine nor would I ruin a coin launch. It doesn't help my business which is running the best exchange possible. I simply wanted to be able to simultaneously launch with the coin. If everyone is fine with a delay before it goes live on the exchange, I have no problem waiting for the coin launch. Either way, you have bittrex.com's commitment to support the coin at launch. Oh and by the way... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=492758.msg5432310#msg5432310 come and get it! While I apologize for sounding apprehensive, the internet isn't the safest of places. I'm sure the community is just as happy as I am to have your exchange on board to help us move the crypto industry forward into a more business like industry. No need to apologize. It's unfortunate that the crypto world has been plagued by such security and integrity problems in the past. It's one of the reasons my partners and I started a new exchange. Look forward to the launch. I'll try to have VMs ready and infrastructure ready so I can get the exchange up while you get the coin and the pools up. Thanks for all your support. And since people got scared yesterday when I didn't respond to the IPO e-mails, I'm informing all that I'm heading to bed. Once I wake I'll get right back into things and continue getting everything ready for launch. Wake up! Times up. Seriously though, is the live stream drawing for the GPU still on for today at 5pm est? No more entries right? Deadline ended last night. Just the ones that are on the current IPO list are eligible correct?

if you are going to call it gpucoin, make it at least scrypt-n
+1000 Why the fuck is this scrypt when scrypt asics are right around the corner? Not enough thought was put into this. There will never be any such thing. You still have to buy expensive fast video RAM. This is like the "winter is coming" of Scrypt coins. Winter never comes. Even if they do pack GPU memory onto some other board then what you have is a useless pile of crap when you're done mining coins with it. GPUs can be resold. MAT’s EXCALIBUR ASIC Scrypt Miner offers 50 MH/s for € 4,999; their PLATINUM FPGA Scrypt Miner will offer at least 10 MH/s for € 2,999 http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/2014/02/24/mining-asics-technologies-bv-mat-announces-6ths-titanium-asic-bitcoin-miner-and-scrypt-asic-miner/All Scrypt Asics are currently pre orders which means, they have not developed the technology yet. Also, all expected delivery dates for all the companies offering them have never been met. It's not that easy. Even if they do actually develop it. It would still need to go through FCC/CE Mark certification before they can actually sell it.

Not personally, so I really have no trust for a random internet stranger.
This means you won't give him the wallet correct?

Hey everyone. I have a question about the cpu wallet mining. I started yesterday and my first 2 hours I got 58 fatecoins, but after that, it's been 24hours now and I haven't gain a single one. Whats up with that? Is it that hard to mine through the wallet?
every time you find a block restart the wallet ... if the coins are still there then you were on the right chain ... if they vanish then you were on the wrong chain! Thanks. Yes, the coins are still there. Is it really that hard to find a block? I have only found 1 and that was over 24 hours ago? Nothing since. How many fatecoins is everyone getting a day?

I have some doubt that you will be able to get the supply you request. I have been in contact with almost every single online computer retailer since before Christmas. Demand is high/supply is low... everything was on backorder I had to prepay for 4-280xs. 2 came in 1.5 months and the other in 2 months. Luckily I did because now prices are 25% higher. Not counting you out but it's hard to see how you will convince wholesalers to do business with you over the likes or NCIX and Tigerdirect. Unless of course demand deminishes. Nonetheless I wish you luck... I will support the coin by mining, I am still weiry about IPOs. Hope your plan works out for a discount GPU source, the market is competitive good luck
Can't he just buy the GPUs from Europe or another country in which prices are not inflated? I think with all the taxes and shipping, prices will be higher than his wholesale prices in the US.

Why? I think this coin could be great, the only difficulty is picking up the hardware. Also, isn't there an lolcoin already?

You have some good points. I am still thinking about the IPO. My concern is, if the store does not open within 2 weeks after launch due to backorders or whatever, the price of the coin could tank. It would be best if the dev had the GPU's in hand before the launch.
