I'd be careful guys.  Kind of seems like a going out of business sale.
There's profit to be made, especially if someone has the funds to eat some of these walls.

TAM dev looks like he used BTC generated from his ICO to put up the walls that exist.

Profit time is long gone.  Now it's get out with minimal lost time.

Hi Tomi.  I like the route you're taking.  10% interest should not be an issue.  My only concern is how would you be able to do the exchange if the old wallet does not sync?  I am assuming the new Dreamcoins will be 100% POS.   Otherwise, you would not be able to do the exchange.  Lastly, what would happen to the remaining new DRMs that do not get exchanged?  I am all down with you keeping a nice percentage for your efforts.  However, let's say, there's about 500k left over.  You'll be holding over 25% of the coins.   Just a thought.  I really want this to work and feel that you can take DRM to another level.  Thanks. -tm

Hi Trademark! The plan is to create new 1,8 million Dreamcoins, then bind the price into physical silver (1,8kg). After this I will set up a site where everyone can change their old Dreamcoins into Dreamcoins.

I was thinking POS interest per year could be 10%

 - Tomi

Hi Trademark, and Kondiomir. My wallet has not been in sync for ages aswell, if someone has the full blockchain, would be real great that he/she could share it.

About the POS - I can set up a the site this week where Dreamcoin holders can send their Dreamcoin address and the information how many coins they have, let's premine just the amount of coins that is needed for the exchange. After that we can have a fair and well informed launch (for the POW phase)

- Tomi

Sounds good.  Smiley

Not me.  It hasn't sync'd for months.

Hi Tomi.  Correct me if I'm wrong but are you making a new Dreamcoin?  If so, what will happen to our old DRMs?

Dreamers, give some of your ideas about the technical side of the coin. The are the questions we have to give an answer -

1. Name of Coin :

2. Abbreviation of Coin :

3. Timings of block (in seconds) :

4. Logo of coin (please provide link) :

5. Coins per Block (during pow phase) :

6. Block number when POW ends  :

7. POS interest per year :

8. Max stake age :

9. Min stake age  :

You're replying to a post that I posted over 1 year ago when cryptocurrency was "somewhat" stable.  Mining "was" profitable back then.  BTC has lost more than half of it's value since then.   Today, it would be much cheaper just to pick up the coins you can afford to take a chance on from an exchange.  Just think of it as penny stocks.   Wink

Anyways, Tomi.  Thanks for the update.  Sounds good and looking forward to seeing DRM back online.   Smiley

MyFarm has a great idea which can lead to a great trend.

I would also like to input an idea which could help fund DRM.  I got this idea from the Ronald Mcdonald Dream House Raffle.  Let me know what you guys think about having a monthly/bi monthly Dream Wish raffle. Tickets can only be purchased with DRMs (each ticket is $5 to $10USD worth of drms at current market value) and prizes can be anything from GPU's, Miners, BTC's, DRMs, Gift cards, etc.  It all depends on how many tickets are sold with 5% - 10% taken off the top and put in the development fund.  What do you guys think?  I think it would attract a bunch of people if we had a raffle for like the KNC Titan Miner.  I'd buy a few tickets.  Just a thought. Grin

How did you miss getting screwed over by celevrhash and the never ending story of shipping updates, delays and literal carrot dangling. 10% off? Haha. However, if you was to introduce any raffles it would make you profitable to sell non profitable hardware. If the hardware was profitable, you would mine for yourself until the hardware is no more profitable, then sell the hardware used with "delivery delays" with XX% off.

Glad everything worked out for you.   Must have felt like you won the lottery when the BTC arrived.   Grin

Damn.  That sucks.  Why didn't you use Sedo or Flippa?  Try to cancel the domain transfer if possible.  Good luck man.

Hi Tomi,

Glad to see your efforts towards DRM.  Personally, I would like to see DRM make a comeback.  Looking at FIMK, it has a cap of 1billion while DRM is under 2million.  The 1:1 exchange ratio doesn't seem good to me.  Anyways, I voted to restore DRM if possible.  Good luck!

This isnt anything. Wait until after beta2 then final release. Only problem now is it is more expensive to accumulate. Made #4 wallet already now shooting for #3.

The truth!  Good luck man!
1995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] VGC - VegasCoin on: June 06, 2015, 12:21:14 AM
Vegas is one of my favorite vacation spots.  Just wondering, why don't you start a new vegas coin instead of trying to take over and fix this one?  Anyways, good luck!

Ok here is a list of new working addnodes:

Use :

Ill update as we go. and create new Ann.

in windows its : vegascoin.conf

addnode=70.92.190.101:52400

addnode=188.165.82.239:52400
addnode=81.4.111.126:52400
addnode=206.107.220.121:52400

static addnodes:

node.vegascoin.co                 199.229.255.58  (Main node, LA, West US)
eu.nodes.vegascoin.co           81.4.111.126     (Amsterdam, Europe)
east.us.nodes.vegascoin.co    107.191.108.93  (Europe, East US)

Blockchain to today 6-5-15 : If your using windows overwrite everything in roaming\vegascoin with this:

www.bitcoinlasvegas.net/files/VegasCoin-Blockchain-5-5-15.zip

Windows wallet 2.1.0.1 (Note this is NOT a new wallet, this was simply copied from vegascoin.io) :

www.bitcoinlasvegas.net/files/vegascoin-wallet-2.1.0.1-installer.zip

Note: There are known issues with this wallet. Specifically large transactions that are in the thousands of coins will probably get stuck and error. So for now DONT move any VGC coins in the thousands until a fix is out. If you did, and they are in error, Im working on a quickfix that WONT be a wallet release but a fix using dumprivkey. Need to test first as , I myself have frozen funds with "?" . Stay tuned

Ive got a LOT of work ahead of me too. Ive got to get us back on the exchanges and create a pool. Be patient, I wont move fast, but everything will be done PROFESSIONAL, EVERYTIME!!

Damn. Sucks to be him.  Lived 2 years as a king and will now pay for it with the rest of his life.  My question is, why was he still running his operation from the US?  With all that money, he could have been operating in a 3rd world country and probably would've never been caught.  Even if he did, he'd be able to buy his way out of it.

Because he was dumb? Can't think of any other reason. There is a long, long history of law enforcement infiltrating illicit forums (carders etc) way before he came along. He should've been fully aware of that and taken the necessary measures.

It really doesn't sound like he lived as much of a king either. Renting house shares and sitting in coffee shops on your laptop all day doesn't strike me as living the dream.

He's a freaken idiot then.  All that money and that's the way he lives.  Guess he won't be missing out much in his new home.
