Thanks for the update Tomi.  Nice quote.  I like it.  Less than a week left of the battle and to the clouds we go.

A short update - Hazard wrote me the client is ready, at the moment we are just waiting for the 2nd of November - Battles are fought by those with the courage to Dream

Been noticing net hashrate rising the past couple days.  Only a week of mining left.  Get your dream on!

Thanks.  Didn't think it would take hours but I'll give it another try.

Anyone follow the below instructions and having the wallet stuck with the message "Importing bootstrap blockchain data file" on launch?

if you choose the bootstrap method its normal that wallet importing the bootstrap file on start and stack then for awhile, it can take hours.
The another method with copy blockchain for you OS is much faster

Hey Dreamers,

Only a little over a week left of POW.  Current total coins is at about 21 million.  My guess is it'll be around 35-40 million by November 2nd, so the ratio in the swap will be more like 15:1 to 20:1.  Total coins after swap will only be 2.3 million.  Get your DRMs while you can.  Tomi has some great plans with this coin.    Wink

Whats up Dreamers!  Only 2 weeks left of mining.  There will be no more POW after November 2nd.  Plenty of time to stack up on your DRMs.  Do you want to be a Dream Whale?

Haha.  Thanks Tomi.  Go DRM!

Dreamers!

I sent Tomi some suggestions/solutions.  It's pretty much too late to rollback to the original 1.85million DRMs.  I think we should keep at the 18.5million or less as stated in the OP.  However, less shouldn't be less than the current block so that it doesn't upset anyone who have been mining DRM since the launch.  I think we're safe until block 18000 or so.  However, this is Tomi's coin and it's up to him to decide.  It's only my opinion but Tomi is a fair guy.  I'm pretty sure if many dreamers agree with me, he'll go for it. Anyways, keep mining and dream on!   Grin

Hi Tomi.  PM sent.

Hi Tomi.  It's good to see that you will be trying your best to make things right.  Not sure how you'll be able to accomplish it though.  Unless you're planning to give away a large amount that you may or may not have.

Also, what is the block rewards structure?  Will it be reduced soon?  If it stays at the current amount, the total amount will be way more than 18.5 million by the time it hits block 86400.  Anyways, good luck to you and DRM.

Hi Trademark - and everyone. I just founded out yesterday myself (that the POW is 18.5 million). This means that all the original Dreamcoin holders should get 10x the amount they signed for in the rebirth form (earlier this year). I will do everything in my power to make this happen. I think ending the POW now is not good idea since I cant even reach the Altcoin Guys at the moment.

Hi Tomi,

As much as I support DRM, this is a major issue for previous dreamers.  It pretty much makes our old DRM's worth 1/10th of what it is now.   Not saying that it's all your fault but it should of been caught before the launch.  Not sure how many total coins there are now but is it possible to end the POW early?

Hi Kondiomir, I asked the Altcoin Guys to make us coin with 1.85 Million coins, but it seems they made us a coin with 18.5 Million instead.

This is the info: 6. Block number when POW ends  : 86400 blocks
(Roughly 2 months worth of POW, based on 60 second block time)

We are now at about block 5600 so still far to go

Hi Tomi.   Congrats on the launch.  I noticed the OP states that there are 18.5million total coins.  Is that a mistake?  Before DRM was only 1.85million.

Seeing that Trump is leading the polls.  You'd be an idiot to purchase and actually wear that F*** Trump shirt.  You'd get your ass beat.  This thread is a lame attempt to advertise your shirts and Voyeur clothing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that Onemarket and Shadowmarket development are far from their beginning.. I think it's a mistake and it should be first priority since the second that OpenBazaar will launch there will be others using their open source code and you might lose your edge as being one of the first decentralized markets..

We will lose nothing!

We want since begin deliver a mostly perfect product. We never want to rush for something. Lets do other what they want to do we are all free. We will go our path and trying to deliver further perfect products. I see the goal not in fast delivery of anything what will be not good.

+1.   That's the correct path to take.

Thank you Trademark for this idea (lottery) we can implement it once Dreamcoin is safely back on track.

Long live Dreamcoin - we are reborn and so are our dreams ! The premine is ready and Dreamcoin all set for mining.

I want the launch to be well informed and fair so people (old and new Dreamers) have enough time to get ready.

The www site will be updated - and wallets available on thursday 1st of october 2015 - I will use the time from this day to that promoting Dreamcoin - you are encouraged to do so as well Dreamers

- Tomi

October 1st is when dreams come true.  Good luck with the launch Tomi.  Smiley

Hi Tomi,

How is it looking?  Do you think you can launch DRM this weekend?  Your ideas are good.  Why not have them all?  You should have a Dream Lottery site.  Using DRM to purchase lottery tickets with a chance to win 100 oz Silver Bars or 1 oz Gold Bars.  That would make some dreams come true!  Grin
