2421  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia exchange hacked on: February 14, 2019, 12:14:20 PM
i don't have any funds on Cryptopia myself. but feel with everyone involved
and it just shows again how important it is to manage the funds yourself Lips sealed
it's exciting to see what the police are gonna do here.
Quite a long time the company’s website remains offline and no single update neither through website nor social media accounts. Indeed very poor practice...

New Zealand Police Say Cryptopia Is Ready to Resume Trading, but Platform Remains Offline! Details : https://cointelegraph.com/news/new-zealand-police-say-cryptopia-is-ready-to-resume-trading-but-platform-remains-offline

Assuming that crytopia it’s not ready yet even after police clearance!

Even if their investigation is over that doesn't mean that the company is or can be 100% ready to restart. That's a fact for all the companies, crypto related or not.
We can all make assumptions (positive or negative) but the truth is that only them can clarify what they will do.

I'm sure that they know that we want our funds back in full, no matter how much is the amount.
2422  Economy / Lending / Re: ★ ★ ★ LENDING ► CONDORAS SERVICE ◄ ESCROW ★ ★ ★ on: February 13, 2019, 11:32:41 AM
Hi,

I just wanted to check if my collateral is valid for a loan.

I need loan to cover repayment of my mortgage quickly since the bank will start the seizure of my house. I have an gambling with 7k available for withdrawal the 21st of Febuary. The money is withdrawable this date because of the bonus offer which require users to play 3 months before they can withdraw their earnings. But I need to cover my mortgage payment before this date. Since you accept physical collateral I can give you my accounts details at the casino and the gmail used (to protect against account recovery).

I am willing to cover the loan with the full account balance(150%+ of loan amount) and I can provide proof of balance before concludning the loan, I will also pay for escrow if needed.

The account should not be hard sell for your part since alot of countries have no tax on gambling profits (can be used to turn crypto into fiat tax-free) a funded gambling account ready for visa/mastercard withdrawal should be very easy to trade for BTC.

Many thanks in advance.

Hello coindeveloper.co,

Loan Request: Denied.
The Collateral that you offer doesn't worth (not even close) the amount that you are asking.
Accounts like the one you are offering, are easy to be recover from the start-up owner. So isn't a Valid Collateral.
If you have something more valuable, let me know.

By the way you should read the sticky, regarding what is consider as Valid Collateral here.

The "lesson" will be that you really own/stack the kind of money/funds that you say that you have in your possesion.
He didn't ask you to sign any client's addresses, just an addy eg. your company's "hot wallet" or such.

As a company related to such transactions by funding others with fiat money through/with crypto assets, a BTC "company wallet" will be a mandatory. To sign it, it will be an easy way to prove your words. Besides, you hold the keys of all wallets not the client, thus it belongs to you and you can sign it without any kind of problem.
No violation at all.

Also you certainly have some defaults over the year that you are online working in this field and of course you gain some profits, right?
Don't you have a "pool" wallet for such things? You earn BTC and move them in order to gain the fiat back, correct?
2428  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 🔶Deals for Hardware Wallets 🔶 on: February 11, 2019, 09:58:29 PM
My question would be how safe is it to buy from a third party seller?
As many ave mentioned on the other threads about hardware wallets. You should not buy any ledger or trezors if not from an authorized seller of these wallets because of the high possibility of them being hacked into later on.

It's not but i didn't want to say this at first sight. There is a possibility Op here to be legitimate as he state. One possibility though... Undecided
2429  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia exchange hacked on: February 11, 2019, 07:07:17 PM
Well, to tell you the truth, I'm not worried or longing to see someone behind bars. I just want to know if I will ever see my coins again, and that reality seems to get more distant every day Sad

I'm with you like everybody else here but i want to see the glass almost full and not almost empty. So i try to think and stay positive...

KYC is stupid and I believe it serves either the two following agendas,
1) Exchanges have SEEM like they're regulating their customers.
2) They want to make some extra cash by selling our identities.

The truth though is that RL laws, regulations, centralized manipulations etc, demands from anyone that receives money from others (to store/stacking them or use them or provide a tool that actualy holders to trade their assets), to have informations from them that can be used from the authorities if and when they want to/see fit.
Also exchangers (if it's not DEX) need to have a capital reserve, they pass checks from local commissions and authorities and have a substainsantly big monthly cost. That's only for the constant paperwork that exchanger have to provide. So i dought that someone who invest a lot of money to create an exchanger, to put his investment in such a risk by trying to sell ID's. Of course exeptions applies to every rule...

Thankfully most of them, if not all, won't check or can't check the authenticity of the KYC.
I mean... some exchanges for example are operated from China... how can they know if I have photoshopped my ID card and my name is faked?
A fake ID isn't an issue for a hacker, heck I'm sure it's not hard for about 1/3 of our community!

That's because isn't their job to investigate the legitimacy of the paperwork and they don't forced to do so. Responsible for this is the applicant/owner of each account.
Their requirement is to ask from holders to provide their info and that's it.
Don't forget that things are generally the same everywhere but some countries are "friendlier" to such companies than others. Wink

2431  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do activities of an escrow apply to gambling on: February 10, 2019, 02:37:31 PM
If one wants to stake a bet with bitcoin or cryptocurrency with an individual offline is the service of an escrow employable or do escrow services avoid getting involved in gambling.
What are the best escrow services for this
Escrows has nothing to do or not being affected on all the possible transactions that he would handled as long he hold up the funds with both parties and as long he would got paid for his service.

It is plausible to apply it offline but the question is, on how you would find out those people on your place?- trusting someone wont really be that easy.
Well said, escrow service will be depend on how both parties agrees and if the service will be paid correctly, not sure if I'm missing something with OP
maybe he also meant about not betting with game house but person to persons gambling, that's why he ask for escrow, but given that he meant
offline which maybe meant for someone from his place, he needed to have reputable person who resides near him.

If both parties agree and the the escrow who they trust hold the pot money, everything will be done according to what they've wanted to be.

The thing is that actualy are three parties involve, if we include investors and players.
If a casino owner trust someone doesn't mean that others will also trust him/her. For private tables or perhaps a tournament escrow can be used.
As far as i know though usualy the one that host the event/table etc, also keep the funds and be responsible/accountable for them.

Thank you for checking out FootballCoin and for giving us your unbiased opinion. We are looking to grow and extend. Do not worry. We will make sure to announce the community of any updates and changes.
In my opinion, gambling, football (or sport in general), casino will be the most perfect places for crypto usages in the future.
They need fast transaction, privacy, and crypto coins can satisfy gamblers' needs

I believe gambling and crypto put together in the same sentence give the blockchain technology a bad name. Indeed it's a way to utilize blockchain, but fantasy esports and blockchain should be the focus, as it's much better perceived by people.
FootballCoin is the first example of such a project, and hopefully, many more will follow. To this day, there isn't any other blockchain game, in which the technology is used in all backend processes.

There's a market there, yes. But, you know what I like about FootballCoin? 1. The rules are laid out clearly. 2. It's not like a casino. I win if I bank of some good players. It takes some skill. As for gambling, sooner or later, you can lose everything to the house. Not exactly an investment, if you ask me. Personally, I prefer the games of skill, but I don't wanna hate on anyone doing something different.  Smiley

This is clearly not a casino and luck doesn't have much of involvement about the result.
You can win either you have high class players or not. Even if you don't invest by bying cards of 4-5* player(s), you have very good odds/chances to be among the winners of a competition.
Of course by having better players, increase the chances for a better result but only if their performance (in RL match) be good.
So skills, knowledge and familiarity with the sports competitions and the XFC rules, matters more than luck. Cool
2433  Economy / Lending / Re: It is the time on: February 09, 2019, 12:01:52 PM
A "." for this request. However, I wish to put another 24 hours before closing it. Still looking for a good support. Thanks.

At the op of your thread you said that you will lock this in 36 hours from posting it.
After 48+ hours you answer to a post (!) and extend this loan request of yours to another 24 hrs.
You see any interest for it and you wish to extend it? You can't be on time on your own need for help and you believe that you will have any kind of "offers"?!

Don't waste your extra 24 hrs here, lock your thread from now and save yourself (and us) from the trouble.
2434  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia exchange hacked on: February 09, 2019, 11:47:18 AM

At least they try to do something and they are moving as fast as they can.
Suppose they will finish with Cryptopia's HQ investigation next week and close the part of "inside job".
We all now that it will take time, a lot of it. So as long as some pieces of this story clarify, things are going as good as it gets. It's better to see it optimistically.

As the article said though, many people dought that we will see someone behind bars for this crime...This realy sucks. Embarrassed
2435  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a small loan on: February 07, 2019, 10:50:30 PM
I’m not sure how I will be able to prove that this wont happen. There’s not much else to offer except my word that it will be paid back and there will be no problems. Obviously saying this isnt much but its just that I need this loan and am willing to provide everything needed to prove it.

In order to prove it, you just need to offer a valid and valuable collateral.
Sorry to say this but nobody can count or your word here. A word from a guy that suddenly land at the forum from nowhere and wants money from his first post. Undecided

It will be better to lock your thread, before you see your account ruined.

This HIyP site highly change is a Scam Site, why? i found this site template have 99% (not same color) similar template with securecash.pw
so becareful and tried do you homework before made any investment.

It's more than obvious that Op here is shilling/promoting his (or others) crap HYIP/ponzi scheme.
As a HYIP scheme is scam by definition, so there isn't such a thing as an "invesment".

Probably you need to do your homework too and stop "invest" on them or promoting them... Wink

2438  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 0.15 bitcoin loan! Until 3/7! With Collateral! on: February 07, 2019, 10:38:28 AM
Your collateral is not valid.... altcoins are a valid collateral.

Thank you for the feedback. I have seen many loans given with no collateral at all, so I assumed having access to an account with 5x the loan amount in it would be enough. I guess I will have to tough it out this month. Wink

Did you see any from these loans been given to a newbie without any kind of history here?
If you have that amount 5x times more in this account, then get them from there.

Now that the Champions League and the Europa League is back again, it will be wrong not to join the contests.
There is also some good paying contests besides the free ones that looks tempting to join, due their good prizes.

Seems like we will have a very interesting week ahead, good luck to all! Cool

Yeah! Some really good managers in these contests though. Damn! I am hoping to do better than them this weekend. Last time around I finished I thought was possible.  Smiley

As long as you get involve and play, you have the chances to be one of them or even better. Wink
