2421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are getting stronger, how are you contributing? on: April 09, 2022, 01:59:14 AM
You downplay yourself, man, the goods themselves look pretty good. Interest in Bitcoin wouldn't necessarily be the only factor for the growth of your store, delivering continuous quality goods should also be one of them. I'm curious whether you have an official site you work on or are just using social media to spread publicity and accept custom orders.

In the previous quote it is said about such an act of promotion will cause problem getting the attention of police leading to unwanted taxation. Maybe that too can happen, if promoting bitcoin is crime according to their law.
That's going overboard, I mean in that case, I'm pretty sure a lot of creators (drawings, songs, poems, any creative art basically) that portray negative stuff such as death, killing, depression would all have some sort of punishment just because the topic they portray is, well, negative. Legalized or not, wearing clothes or creating content about Bitcoin should be allowed, it's basic freedom.
2422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Occupational hazards of trading crypto on: April 08, 2022, 02:38:19 PM
actually trading is like what we live, if we place trading as a job, then we also have to work according to the working hours that we set ourselves. or else we have to be able to manage our time, our stress level, that's why many people say to trade according to their own comfort, where everyone will feel different comfort. Therefore, if we have health problems due to trading, then our strategy is wrong, and we don't feel comfortable
And it's true. Even dedicated traders only set a set amount of time trading, heck maybe even less than your average trader. It's mostly because they've learned how the markets move so knowing the when is rather easy for them (or rather easy for them to assume that is). Using up all the time in the world doesn't guarantee profit (but it does help at some point).

I believe there are more risks to being a full-time trader, and this is dependent on the amount of money you have committed in each trade. For example, I can open a $100 spot trade position and if I get trapped and lose 50%, I may be brave enough to hold that position as I can manage the loss, but even with that ability, I can lose my appetite, I wouldn't want to talk to anyone as a small thing can upset me easily, and I may become mute throughout the day; these are some of the common after-effects and emotional damage I face in short term.
What happens if I open a $100000 position and lose more than 50% of it? It will not only cause me to have high blood pressure for a long time, but it will also cause me to fall repeatedly whenever I remember my errors. Cheesy Cheesy
As others have said. The heavier the risk, the greater the opportunity. Really simple analogy but really scary once you go to levels above your actually capable of on average.
2423  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Putin at risk of being stopped by his own military Generals on: April 08, 2022, 01:42:26 PM
I don't think so. If generals were the only thing that was needed to stop Putin, pretty sure this war would've been over long ago. He's probably lost a lot, but maybe that's why we haven't seen any sort of possibility for this war to end because even with all the losses he got, he's still going at it pretty strong (in a bad way ofc). I honestly don't know if he's planning on fully achieving his goal or just trying to wait and see if he can recoup the losses that he got from the start till now (which is nigh impossible imo).
2424  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which would be better ? on: April 08, 2022, 12:42:21 PM
It would be casinos. "Gambling" is technically something you'd do when you want to rely on luck, and most (if not all) casino games have majority of their win chance dependent on luck, so yea go there if you really want to experience what it means to "gamble".

  • What do I need to know to play casino?
  • Which is a more profitable casino or sports game?
  • And Which Platform should take as a newbie gambler, casino or sports?
Based on this though well, you don't need to know much, basic rules of the game plus depositing to the casino site (e.g,, tokens to play) would be what you need. Profitability is kind of hard to answer, after all if you're both bad and unlucky, both types wouldn't net you anything. If you are lucky though, gambling could probably net you more than sports gambling where as sports gambling might be much more consistent. I'd go for sports, it's fun and you probably won't rage/get tired of it quickly.
2425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 08, 2022, 09:20:22 AM
With the way they are playing, my take is they can carry this momentum forward. Ammar is the only weak link I'm currently seeing for OG. That kid is good, no doubt,  ut his extreme cockiness and inconsistency makes the ordeal really painful for the team on games where he is expected to deliver. I do like the fact that he's a flexible player that can do mid with Huskar, and it helps when they are outdrafted on the first picking phase, but then again Huskar isn't an all-rounder mid laner that can carry in mid-late game.

Personally, if Ammar can be consistent with his performance, this OG lineup can even win majors or even TI. Honestly Taiga is what saves Ammar on losing the lane with the dude's constant application of pressure on the 5 support which isolates the carry of the enemy.
Agree. They're doing really well so especially Taiga, his performance has been stellar so far and has really helped in making plays for the entire team. And as you have said, he's really helping Ammar in the laning phase, his decision-making really keeps the pressure on the enemy team which gives space for Ammar to breathe every now and then. Yuragi, Misha, and BZM have been doing really well consistently, I don't think there's much to say about them tbh.

I really understand your point because all his bushwhack is pretty on point to catch enemy and save team mates on game 1. His game 2 hoodwink is the best since his bushwhack is perfect setup to kunka combo skill which surely obliterate enemy that they will caught. The final clash on the river is the best when they the turn around clash while they are chasing by all the member of GG. He caught 4 hero of GG that completely erase when kunka benefits on that setup..
Though tbf, I'd fault Gladiators for those setups. IIRC they kept on trying to burst one hero but ended up being set up by Taiga then followed up by Yuragi.
2426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UFC fighters will get their bonus pay by Bitcoin on: April 08, 2022, 03:28:03 AM
Since it's just a "bonus", I don't think there's much to complain about it. Converting it to fiat if needed shouldn't pose that huge of a problem for them imo, and I don't think they have to worry about it's value if they were to convert it to fiat immediately. Maybe have some of their managers handle that issue, ask the athletes what they really want and then let the managers handle the specific details themselves. As for being happy or not, well, it is a bonus, pretty sure most of them would be happy whether it was in cryptocurrency or not.
2427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just watch "Trust no one" diocumentary film related 2019 biggest crypto scam on: April 08, 2022, 01:09:16 AM
I don't think your first point sounds right? Centralized exchanges are basically just like every other Centralized system out there, it's there to make the processes involved a lot easier by connecting it with a bunch of other centralized stuff. It's by no means actually needed imo (after all, how do you think transactions happened in the beginning when centralized exchanges weren't a thing?).

Naturally, Bitcoin is lost upon death, unless you provided a method to access your wallet that others can access. Simple as that. I'm still not sure whether it can be accessed by an external party in the near future but at the moment, it's not possible.
2428  Other / Off-topic / Re: An Unforgettable Day In my Crypto world on: April 07, 2022, 10:40:56 AM
It's why people who trade always say to only invest what you can afford to lose. That also includes taking into account emergency funds. Your investments aren't sources of money to be used in case of emergencies, but rather they're your passive income(at least part of it) most of the time. I'd recommend trying to earn more money, at least until after paying your debts your living relatively well. Then invest most leftover funds after deducting payments for regular expenses to crypto. No need to invest it all at once, you can invest gradually.
2429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trade cryptocurrency with FX trading knowledge? on: April 07, 2022, 05:40:53 AM
Should be fine, the general idea of what to do and how to read the market should be rather similar, if not the same. The main difference here would only be on the target market, so that's a separate thing you have to study from scratch (not to mention studying all the jargon for the crypto stuff if you really want to dig deep). Try doing what you feel is right for a few weeks, that should be enough to show whether what you know is enough or you need to learn the market better than now.
2430  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you want to be an admin of an online casino? on: April 07, 2022, 01:13:31 AM
I'd honestly suggest creating a team-first that could review and offer opinions and reviews to your site before anything else. UI is a very integral part of what users see when they visit your site and it's usually one of the basis they use to judge your casino, and judging from your screenshot, it's not looking good. I know it's a self-developed project, but that's all the more reason to spend more time reviewing the casino and developing it into a much better site instead of rushing development.

I also saw from your post history that you sold sites prior to this as well, honestly, it just looks the same. Recolored and the like, UI still looks pretty bad. It's kinda rude to prior buyers since it's almost a reskinned site of theirs imo.
2431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free Gambling Course provided by OnlineGambling on: April 06, 2022, 01:15:27 PM
I just have one thought with this, damn that's a lot of episodes. I know blackjack can be complicated if you go to the nitty-gritty of things but I never expected it to last that long, especially if each episode was as the article has said, 2 hours long. I just hope it doesn't go in the direction of discussing even the history, like I get it I know it's pretty important but not really in the context of teaching how to gamble and play blackjack imo. I'd actually enjoy financial management when gambling as part of the course imo. Basic skill for gambling but can be quite deadly (to your wallet) if not done properly.
2432  Economy / Economics / Re: German Authorities Shut Down Russian Darknet Market, Seize $25M In Bitcoin on: April 06, 2022, 03:53:20 AM
Man, that's a lot. I reckon they paid off whatever they actually spent tbf. Would the entirety of the seized amount be under the German's jurisdiction or would they split off some with the U.S.? Since they helped with investigations and all.
I wonder what they are going to do with the seized coins now. They will have few options:
Wasn't there a case where there was also a seizure of coins that happened and said coins were auctioned off by the government? I reckon the same thing would happen here. Now as to what they will use the money gained from there, well I reckon that's still up for debate. Probably for public facilities or something along those lines.
2433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 06, 2022, 12:57:09 AM
Did you guys see how Secret lost second map? Last resort antimage gamble with selling half of his items for building damage items and then gambling on ancient rush. I would have enjoyed that thoroughly if I hadn't had this ticket.
That second game was wild holy. Brahm played the map really well with how they delayed in the first half and then proceeded to control the map on the second half. Honestly a pity, Secret had a pretty good opening for that 2nd match. That ending was kinda anti-climatic though I must say, though rather understandable since the goal was to win anyway. The AM just straight up pushed through after breaking top barracks and Secret somehow didn't react or failed (idrk which) to react towards the threat he had with his DR.
2434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will "hyperbitcoinization" become a reality? on: April 05, 2022, 01:52:04 PM
What are your thoughts? Do you think we're close to "hyperbitcoinization"? If not, why? What will be of the world without centralized Fiat currencies? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
It's gonna happen yes, but we are absolutely nowhere near close it to happening. And to note, I don't think it's going to replace fiat, more like coexistence of sorts where people are able to pay with both at their own convenience. As for why we're not close to it, you can literally look around the world, at the rate of adoption, and what's happening with Bitcoin as a mode of payment. Almost only big companies/stores are the ones accepting it as payment, we can't exactly use it to pay for a large majority of stuff afaik, though that doesn't mean there's nothing.
2435  Economy / Economics / Re: Report indicates a significant increase in 2021 on: April 05, 2022, 12:23:21 PM
Increasing proof that crypto is slowly becoming more and more well-known to others, whether it be as a form of investment or as a form of currency (though tbh, I think the majority of those would be in it for the investment part). I reckon it wouldn't be odd for it to continue increasing in the following years, but I don't think they're here to stay. I reckon most would actually drop off in the near future, or at the very least, wouldn't touch crypto again after a few years has passed.
2436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Billionaire Says Bitcoin May Significantly Exceed Its Previous 2022 Goals on: April 05, 2022, 06:03:39 AM
Metaverse hmm, wondering why Bitcoin wasn't rising up even though Minecraft has been there all this time if it was about the metaverse. I highly doubt as well that the Russia Ukraine issue is going to further affect the market, the only time it could've affected the market was at the start imo. The rest of the time it's just minor movements. As for the end of the year price, I don't think it's going to grow that big, steady movements for this year and maybe the next as well. Might get more dips honestly than increases in price.

I still hold to the opinion that it's always good to invest in Bitcoin though. I still keep up my DCA to this date anyway.
2437  Economy / Gambling / Re: how to choose best Gambling website for Gambling ? on: April 04, 2022, 12:23:25 PM
Between reviews on YouTube and on Bitcointalk, I would trust the second option more. There can be paid reviews on YouTube, but here (Bitcointalk) for the most part people tell how things really are with this or that casino. If a any casino has problems or suspects a scam, then this becomes known in a moment in gambling section of this forum. Here, such news spreads very quickly and the scams will not be able to hide it. Instead of risking your budget on new casino websites, in my opinion, it's better to use old and trusted sites that have a good community reputation on Bitcointalk.
Plus, if you only take into account reviews from accounts that are pretty high up in rank, there's a higher chance that the review is legit and was personally experienced by said member. Plus, someone shilling for a casino should be rather easy to stop if you were to cross-reference reviews from different users and sites, which is why I always use multiple sites if the casino was relatively new and I wanted to play on a new one. It's theh same for scams and frauds, I cross-reference them if possible to verify whether its true or not, since honestly, some reports are just people being incapable of reading ToS.
2438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ️ Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 04, 2022, 09:03:40 AM
It's a bummer. I thought they can turn arpund game 1 and pick the pace from there, but nah, bzm just styling on Tundra for 2 games straight and Tundra can't even do anything. Cheesy
Well, Tundra did throw with the buyback they did midgame which resulted in dieback which gave OG a lot of space. Game 2 needs nothing to be said, they just got stomped.

you guys watching Nigma? wtf is this? i just got here and i'm seeing a stomp and half from nigma in game2 with a massive 20k gold lead at the 30min mark... 322 or did Nigma actually remember how to play dota against no other than the first place undefeated team? what are the odds eh  Lips sealed
Nigma played really well in game 2. They played around their heroes well and managed to create a pretty good lead early on. I wasn't able to watch Game 1 though sadly enough. Game 3 was okay-ish, I guess Gladiators just played better overall.

Waiting for that next OG game though. Against glad I think?
2439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ️ Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 03, 2022, 04:00:16 PM
Nigma was a huge disappointment lmao. Most people were expecting them to win (me as well) and yet they lost 2 games to Brahm, pretty sure most people would have to rethink their judgment of what Nigma and they'd probably honestly lose against Gladiators for their next game.

OG vs Tundra would be a great matchup. This will test OG's drafting and strategies as Tundra so far have shown that their meta is off the books and they can make everything work. I'm confident that Tundra can make a 2-0 but this is OG we're talking about, and they can take at least one map if they can't win the series.
Welp, OG stomped Tundra with a 2-0 instead. The first game they were fighting well but Second game they just got stomped by OG. I guess the momentum from first game was brought over which led to Tundra ultimately losing the next game.
2440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Price target on: April 02, 2022, 03:10:43 PM
I reckon we'd only be getting in range of the ath by the end of the year. Ofc, exceeding it isn't impossible but I don't think it's gonna happen unless a huge impetus were to move the market. But then again, if that does happen, that would only mean the market would dip again after the pump since it'd probably be an artificial increase due to the effect of the impetus. Maybe $55k to $58k by the end of the year? I'd rather the market increase slowly tbh than for it to pump uncontrollably. It's much more healthy that way.
