2441  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshi Mines Bot - Random at first, intelligence later on: February 08, 2017, 01:11:18 PM
I... Don't understand.

I'm sorry but you're saying you made a satoshi mines bot. Great.
Then you're saying the the bot is chosing its picks at random... Ok well what's the point then? No strategy for the bot? Pure randomness? Then why even creating a bot? You like to lose money? ^^

And then... You say the bot is winning money? Well unless Satoshi Mines has a negative house edge that's not possible on high numbers with fixed bets...
So I guess you're increasing the bets after every loss. A plain and simple Martingale isn't it?

That's the strategy, randomness. Really, since all the tiles are random, there isn't any systematic 'strategy' that you can do, though I'm eager to see what OP has in mind.
The bot makes (according to OP) 1 - 1.93 bets per second, that's really fast and is already a good enough (for some people the only) reason to use it.

Right now it's a very fast auto-Martingale with pure randomness and stop-loss, pretty much.

That's not exactly what I would call a strategy though xD
That's more like... Spending money in a useless and 100% sure losing way.
Randomness can work on small numbers if you're lucky, but a bot made for random betting? That's like throwing money away, please throw it to me if you have so much to lose Grin

Yeah well if it's just a fast martingale bot... That's not very new ^^
And most importantly it won't earn money. Not possible. If Martingale made anyone winning money all casinos in the world would have closed already.

Where is my payment for last week, i have kept signature till post count and also sent PM to signature manager that now i am leaving this campaign.

Please check it, i think i should be paid for last week when i was wearing signature for full week. I haven't left in middle.

Hey,

as you can see in the spreadsheet, you're indeed noted as being active and your payment is due.
It was probably just a technical problem. As payments are manual, you might have been forgotten. I'll send a PM to Ethan but it was probably just a mistake, maybe even the google sheet that had a little problem!
Wait for your payment in the next hours/days.
2444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: February 08, 2017, 12:42:34 PM
When we think about investments we imagine investors with big sums of money, so for btc casino it would be 1 or more btc, for instance. However, the minimum amount you can invest is usually 0.01btc which is only 10$. Do you think such investments are profitable but you earn small sums or maybe they don't make sense at all? Can someone explain it to me?

That's not exactly how it works.
Most of the time it's for people who wants to make multiple regular investments.
For example, if I earn 40mBTC every week I can chose to invest 20 in a casino every week. In a short time this "little investments" as you're calling them, are going to become quite a huge amount. It's just that it's better to immediately invest than to save small amounts until you have something big enough to feel like investing it.
2445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EV, BEP In martingale? on: February 08, 2017, 12:40:33 PM
Hello everyone, if you have ever tried betting, martingale might not be something new for you.

Therefore recently in class, while i am just feeling bored, i made some calculations.

Winning chance : 98%
Profit : 1% of bet

Betting calculation

Start bet : 100 satoshi

If lose in streak
1st : 100
2nd : 10,000
3rd : 1,000,000

Total cost for 2 streak : 10,100 》 0.00001Btc 》 $0.10
Chance of losing : 2/100 x 2/100 = 4/1,000 》0.4%

Total cost for 3 streak : 1,001,100 》 0.01Btc 》 $10-11
Chance of losing : 2/100 x 2/100 x 2/100 = 8/1000000 = 0.0008%.

1) Is the calculation of losing in 3 streak correct?

2) In your own way of betting, will you prefer to bet at a max losing streak of 2 or losing streak of 3?

3) in streak of 2/3, which one have a better EV if you have a bankroll of $50? is there way to calculate it?

1/ yup, you know how to maths well done

2/ Don't understand your question, there is no difference between streak of 2 and of 3...

3/ That's... The same. EV only depends on the house edge of the casino if I remember correctly.
2446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: U.S. Taxes on Bitcoin Gambling on: February 08, 2017, 12:36:50 PM
Dude, who in his right mind would be honest enough to declare anonimous gambling winnings to government? xD

Anyway, if you want to be THAT honest, if I remember well you don't have specific taxes for online gambling.
Furthermore, you should also know that you have to notice every currency change you're making... I think there is a tax applying here. Something you should pay everytime you sell your btc for dollars...
2447  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST bets, chat, quick deposits, 5 BTC max profit, JOIN NOW! on: February 08, 2017, 12:24:56 PM
Is there an option or maybe add an option to increase the fee by the player if he wants to ensure it will be fast?
There is no such option available at this moment. YoloDice is using flat 0.0002 transaction fee for every withdrawal.

Actually we pay the fee that our bitcoin node suggests us, we only charge the user the flat fee. The node is configured to set fees to pretty standard fees and most outgoing transactions make it into the next 2 blocks.

I much more often hear people complaing that 0.0002 is too high than that the actual fee is too small. But indeed, having 2 withdrawal options looks smart:

1. Instant withdrawal (single transaction), with a fee, submitted immediately,
2. Batch withdrawal (grouping multiple withdrawals into one transaction) with a minimal fee (or maybe even free?), maybe twice a day.

I think it would make everyone much happier, what do you think?

You're maybe over-thinking it a bit.
Sure such option would be cool, no doubt about it. But that would be a unique one, the whole internet and gambling world are working without a dual withdrawing system. Users will always ask for more, it doesn't mean you have to comply everytime otherwise you'll never stop making new developments just to make people happy!
But if you think it's worth the effort, such solution would indeed make everyone happy, in fact you would be the only site I know which gives such options  Grin

2449  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Please refrain from depositing from Blockchain.info if you want fast deposits on: February 08, 2017, 12:08:02 PM
Laterally for some reason there have been transaction with HUGE miners fees in them. I think there was a block which had a 3-4 BTC miner fee alone. Basically 3-4X as large as usually and it messed up fees for many.

One guy sent $100 with his Trezor and ended up being charged $10 in fees alone for a 1 output 2 input transaction of 200-300 bytes at most.

Hence you should manually set your fees from now on using Bitcoinfees.21.co, go there and see what the fastest and cheapest is. Which is currently 140 sat/byte, and just make it 50% larger and it should confirm with the next block. Don't let it automatically select for you, or you will get charged $10 per transaction.

Agreed.
Automated fees aren't bad in themselves. Sure they work, but they're only for noobs. Anyone with a bit of experience of cryptocurrencies knows that btc is good for its flexibility! You want fast transactions? You pay high to be able to get in the next block. You have time? Then you put the bare minimum. Putting automated fees is just taking a useless risk out of... Pure lazyness.
2450  Economy / Gambling / Re: We've Relaunched: Bitcoin Risk-Free (Arbitrage) Betting Signals - 30%+/Month! on: February 08, 2017, 12:02:39 PM
This actually not a bad idea...

But I fail to understand why you're doing this.
Arbitrage betting is difficult mainly because it's hard to spot the bets on which you can actually make an arbitrage.
But when you've done it... You can win a big amount without any risk.

So why sharing this data with others? Every time you share this data you also give to sportbookers indications on how avoiding betting arbitrage. Why ruining your business for a monthly fee?

The payments are sent (except for Mike Mayor, I think there is an error in the spreadsheet, I will send you your payment once we resolve it).

Cheers and take care!
Ethan
Dear Ethan, I just checked the list of the name payment was sent to and I'm not included. Why is that?

Hello,

As I wrote you already twice, you can't be paid if you don't send your YoloID
I've asked you this ID twice, and unless I missed your message, I never received it.

We need your ID to make the payment Wink

No! Never! Not in your dreams  Grin

Let's be fair, BTC gambling is great for one thing only: anonymity
Sure it's not perfect, but it's good enough so you never have to hide your winnings for example.
So giving out my name and linking it to an adress?
lol

2454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in casinos on: February 05, 2017, 03:44:01 PM
There are a lot of casinos that accept investing, and I simply never understood why.

People who wants to invest in a casino could just open their own casino, yeah, it could be a big mess for some of the people, but it is still worth it, as you could earn a way more from owning your own casino.

Anyway if you have nothing to do with your money it could be a good solution, just make sure you are investing at a well trusted casino

Lol
"could just open their casino"

Yeah sure, if you got 200 to 400 btc to spare as a bankroll, that you know enough about coding, wallet security, network...

2460  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reddit’s science forum banned climate deniers. on: January 27, 2017, 07:09:26 PM

Moms basement was such a great thing actually.
I can remember how it was over a decade ago:
Free food, clean clothes and free housing with yourself doing pretty much nothing.

But most of us get older and move out with 18 to go study,  get a job and a family unlike other people like tcbcof who are still on social welfare with 50 and have nothing to show except a daily 12 hour history of visiting alex jones and bct.org. Face sad  Sad

Ya, go 'study' at mommy and daddy's expense at age 18 for four years or so, then right back into Mom's basement.  For the aptitude which criptix displays for science and logic one can assume that he probably 'earned' a degree in the performing arts or some such.  Perhaps that experiance helped his mind transform his mom into a 'wife with a PhD' and thus justify his existance as a beta-male who lives off the kindness of his female better.

BTW Cripty, your allergies are probably attributable in large part to all the vaccines, but they can be helped by putting a dehumidifier in Mommy's basement.  The hydroscopic crystal varieties don't make much noise so they won't break your concentration when you are trying to spank it.

Funny how I find most of Criptix arguments far more detailed and constructive than yours.
While I'm an engineer so can't say that I have no logic or mathematical or scientific training...

And even with all my training I can't say I find any logic in your 'reasonning".
I wouldn't even call that a reasoning...
