Now all the Germans get depressed. Expect a serious dump... .  Grin

Mexican will overcompensate that. And they need it more than dumping Germans.

In football that's a thing but in terms of economic powers I wouldn't bet on Mexicans xD
1522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Preferred crypto betting site ? on: June 17, 2018, 06:35:33 PM
I've played on YoloDice for years now...
The site is nice and smooth but the best part for me is how they reward you for playing in multiple ways.

You got the faucet sure but you also got an evolutive one with levels increasing as you bet plus a rakeback system... And the rakeback system also increases as you bet more and more!
You can get as much as 50% rakeback on your account ^^

So I like it and I'm pretty confident on it.
1523  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin a Bubble? on: June 15, 2018, 02:08:56 PM
There a simple thing that proves it isn't a bubble.

There are currently 18 million btc in circulation. Even a bit more if I'm not mistaken.
Maximum amount will be 21 million so 16% more. And that's all. Nothing more.
It means with the same activity the price will drop by 16% with the complete supply.

There is NO other currency that has such a low and controlled inflation. Price can only rise with number of users. Which is not the case of most assets!
1524  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 15, 2018, 01:54:56 PM

Meh, I'm not a big fan of the idea of hodling so that you can sell later.

For me I wish people would convert and spend rather than buy, hodl, sell.

The idea of holding means you're resisting the temptation of selling. But if bitcoin is your main currency...why would you ever consider buying some fiat?

Yeah but... Is anyone actually using btc as a main curreny yet?
I mean even without talking about the fact that my salary isn't in btc, that I can't pay my taxes in btc and so on... Who the hell would accept to use a currency where 1mBTC can buy you a 2 breads the monday, 8 the friday and 1 the next week?

As long as the price won't be stable nobody will use it as a main currency.
1525  Economy / Gambling / Re: No winning slot machines on: June 14, 2018, 06:40:42 PM
The idea is interesting... But I don't understand why isn't it more precise?

That's very vague to have only a green and a red icone...
Where are the probability calculations? How do they do their tests?
It seems more like a move of one of the slot companies.
1526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could the Chinese Govt take over the mining of BTC? on: June 14, 2018, 02:09:03 PM
This news is slowly coming out but over half the Bitcoin miners are Chinese entities!
What would happen if the Chinese Govt took the mining over from the entities: It is a scary possibility and i was made aware of it on a you tube channel that has 200,000 subscribers!

What would be the point?

You have to first think of that, what would be the point for the government to take over btc?
It's not like Chinese market is worried in any way about btc... Or like the cryptos are frightening the Chinese government. They have such a tight control on their internet that they already can slow down the expense of btc in their country if they really  care about it xD
1527  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just sold all my BTC because on: June 14, 2018, 10:07:57 AM
I'll do you one better. Your poor ass never had any bitcoin.

You are here to spread lies and try to confuse newbies into thinking abojt Ethereum and BCash.
Ethereum serves completely different use cases and it should never be a choice between BTC and ETH. You should own both depending on your interest while BTC is a must.

BCash on the other hand is just another alt-coin being propped on Roger Ver's sly marketing and media's ignorance. Only a fool would trade their BTC for Bcash at this point.

Still you can't say his analysis wasn't accurate.
In 2 months we lsot nearly 40% value that's something a bit worrying no? xD
1528  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 14, 2018, 10:05:40 AM
The lower it gets, the more bitcoins will be removed from market by long term holders' buying spree.
I would use such opportunity for sure. if it should get below 4-3-2 or even 1k as some pple here predict, Id probably raid my entire bank account ant put it all into bitcoin. Cheesy

Oh god if it was to happen...
I would so fucking love to see this! That would be incredible!!!

But I don't think it will... You get more and more people saying it's crashing. Fact is that when everyone thinks it's going down the market can only go up because everyone is starting to buy to invest.
1529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, crypto and ICO's- in danger of becoming a laughing stock? on: June 11, 2018, 10:03:36 PM
99% of all those coins are not only useless, they're also completely unused.

You don't need anything more than btc for asset value, eth for smart contract, and a few more for specific uses.
Don't believe that those coins will survive anyway. One day or another their value will come to 0.
1530  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market volume rebounded above $ 340 billion on: June 11, 2018, 07:41:17 PM
I think current price is a great answer xD

BTC is going down and it's not going to stop right now...
1531  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 11, 2018, 06:04:58 PM
A few years back, when ASICMiner came onto the scene hardcore, I was chatting with someone of arguable importance, and he made the point "You know, if you believe in this Bitcoin stuff, you should really spend some of it to (blah blah blah turn the wheels of the economy)..."

Blew 300 Bitcorns on something that never materialized. Gone. Scammed.

With the benefit of hindsight, I really should have stuck to my guns, and my gut, that were telling me "But HODLing is a good strategy too, but this dude is smart, so... fuck..."

 KnowwhatImean ?

 Sheeit.

I feel you.
When btc was not even at 400$ I took some money to buy 5 of them even though I was just a student at that time so that was a big investment for me.
Few months after I had a similar "seemgoodopportunity" and saw 4 of those 5 btc leaving me without returning ever.
If I had the guts to keep them... So yeah knowwhatyoumean
1532  Economy / Economics / Re: regulation and legalization of cryptocurrency on: June 11, 2018, 06:00:11 PM
On digital market regulations mean nothing.
That's so easy to get in another juridiction.

If you're annoyed by your country regulation you just have to buy a vpn for 10$ and you can completely ignore it.
Any regulation on digital asset is a joke.
1533  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC WILL Go 5K . on: June 10, 2018, 10:08:39 PM
hmm this is a bad topic. hopefully no one is affected with this because we have to be optimistic the price will go up not to down. I think bitcoin will not go to $ 5000 next week it's very difficult because bitcoin still has the strongest support at $ 6,500 and $ 6000
Price is not going to come back so easily ^^

We're in a correction but I see no sign of it stopping right now. There is simply no reason
Don't forget the millions invested on longs that are all waiting to be closed.
1534  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in a triangle - Watch it closely on: June 10, 2018, 09:19:28 PM
I don't think there is such a simple explanation of the drop...

IMHO it's much more plausible that it's just a few longs being closed at the same time. Remember that some investors entered heavily during the first drop and I wouldn't dare imagine what they're doing right now. Looking for logical and easy answers isn't a solution. If you could get such answers then everyone could predict what will happen.

But here we seem to be go for another down then...
1535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real-Life Professional Gambler will help you recover your losses on: June 10, 2018, 02:39:03 PM
Ah-ah-ah
You understand what randomness means?

Roulette isn't like poker, there is 0 link between a round and another and 0 human contribution. You can't predict shit just because there is nothing that influences the ball. You can have 5000000 red in a row and next round would still have a 50/50 chance to be red....
Don't believe anything can be done here.
1536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble.io has reviewed all the crypto sports betting sites for World Cup on: June 10, 2018, 01:44:50 PM
The site is just an advertisement platform...

There is not much to expect from this website. They earn their money on the base of referal commission...
That means their top 1 is most obviously the site with the biggest commission...
And een if they TRY to be honest they won't cut themselves from a strong income just because the site hasn't a perfect reputation so you take risk by going through it.
1537  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN DIE !!! on: June 10, 2018, 01:40:47 PM
It will die. Or at least go down so much that we won't talk about it for quite a time.

That's the best we can expect! A big down in price which will lead to a small use of btc for some times.
Only those who bought it not as a financial asset but as a true currency will still have it.
And those are the ones wwho will hold and keep it.
1538  Economy / Speculation / Re: Today (June 2nd) is the crucial day for end of downtrend on: June 10, 2018, 01:27:39 PM
price reached $7700 (on bitstamp) and nothing happened.

these are critical days only because we are in a wedge that we don't know which way it is going to go and when it comes to bitcoin it can go anywhere even if the chart is showing you some other possibility.
i say we need to see the $8k level before starting to get excited and talk about where it is going to go or we need to see the $7000 be broken if we are to talk about possibility of drops. otherwise get comfortable here with small ups and downs.

It will go dooooooooooown!
There is nothing that can be done about the down trend, when you look at the books there is hundreds of millions worth on longs.
They will be closed if the price rises even by just a bit...
While if price goes down nothing will counter that. Especially considering the production of btc...
1539  Economy / Speculation / Re: 5900 by late June. on: June 10, 2018, 12:22:44 PM
I do hope it will happen. Or even worse, would be great.

What we need right now is the exact opposite of the boom we had few months ago. We need the price to go dooooooooooooown far far far away like 3k$.
After that nobody will talk of btc again for months.
And we'll be able to have a bit of stable growth.
Then a peak at 7 or 8k
Then again the popularity making it boom to 40k
Then you sell everything and wait for it to go back to 10k

Love bitcoin
1540  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 10, 2018, 12:17:24 PM
Finex leveraged longs are still at $700MM Cry i wanna see them under $500MM. Can we absorb $200MM sell off?

That just means we're pretty far from a stable price...
And I understand them cause longing is what most of use are doing. Buying and storing is the same as longing...

What we need is time, time for people stop caring so much about btc and letting the currency breath alone. We need another huge 2k dip so that tons of people say "fuck off I'm out" and then only those who own btc will stay.
But let's be honest who would short btc right now? xD
