2441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: April 11, 2022, 08:58:12 PM
Great fight for this year, of course, Haney will be listed as the favorite but I like Kambasos because he has a heart of a real warrior. I'm pretty sure that he will not back down, he would do the same damage as he did against Teofimo Lopez and we will again see an upset here.

This is a big challenge for Haney, he should not underestimate Kambasos who are coming from a big win.
Kambosos, who is a unifield lightweight world champion, probably has an edge on this event because the fight will be held in his country of origination. And seeing how he manifested his great boxing skills in the ring, that makes him very capable to win over Haney and make him the undisputed lightweight champion. Definitely a great and exciting fight that we should not miss.
2442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: April 11, 2022, 08:29:50 PM
I agree, VR is far from perfection, but the technology is already there, we just have to tweak it even more and wait for better hardware to produce better and smoother animations when using the headset. Oculus, HTC, and Sony are all pushing VR to its current limits, and are making VR headsets more accessible to a lot of people. Then again, demand isn't there yet, more so about gamblers wanting to experience VR casinos when they can still go to a physicsl one and get the full experience there.

I think most of us are interested in having this experience to compare it to the experience we've had playing in the real world and the online playground. But somehow I'm sure that the experience won't be as good as we imagine it to be. In most cases, the real experience can't exceed expectations and I think that's why gambling sites are not eager to use these technologies at the moment. They are waiting for them to be perfected in gaming and only then integrate them into gambling.
There is always a different atmosphere when you are in a real world casinos compared to those you only experience in VR. But since great technologies bring out the best things in life to be more accessible, i think VR, considering its still in its early exposure, is going to be in demand not totally this year, but maybe in the next possible years. It needs to be more polished and perfected in line of gaming, and only by then it will start to attract more players that will definitely enjoy their experience.
2443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto.com as Sponsor's for FIFA World Cup on: April 11, 2022, 07:57:00 PM
This is great news! But not something that shocking I suppose. With their actions all this time, it is pretty obvious that they have been eyeing the crypto industry for quite some time now and are just looking for better entries. Not that I'm hating crypto.com for it. With this though, we can see that mass adoption is increasing and the gamblers are loving it. More opportunities and more options. I am looking forward to crypto.com's future actions.
And certainly, this is a perfect opportunity for crypto.com as its sponsoring a worldwide event, so that means a lot of people will finally learn to acknowledge crypto and see its great potentials that it could offer to the world. Needless to say, the said event will create more awareness on crypto that may contribute to its faster worldwide adoption and its one way for crypto to become mainstream in the next possible years.
2444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscar Awards 2022 betting thread on: April 11, 2022, 07:32:46 PM

Nailed it. Be it on stage or off stage. Right is right and wrong is wrong. Be it done in front of everyone or be it done in private.  Also, as mentioned by other member, that his personal life was affected. We never know what a person is going through. Let’s forgive him

I guess we won't  see him again in this kind of awarding ceremony since the comitte has already passed their judgement on him. That's just how you act when you see your wife's reaction when she got bullied, not everyone can restrain their anger when it comes to this situation. Like you said, we should forgive him and move on after all, we are all human being who are not perfect.
This is already expected after Will Smith made a big scene at the OSCARS event, that made him banned in the next awarding ceremony. But considering his side, i guess people should not judge him all in negative way because somehow, Chris Rock has become very insensitive too that he was able to bully Will's wife without considering that she might be having a serious health issues. And here's Will Smith to the rescue, losing his patience, finally gave Chris the consequence of his own joke.
2445  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: April 11, 2022, 07:13:36 PM
Well, that's explains everything!
I knew it, like everyone else knew it was part of the advertisement If Drake did really used his own pocket to place that massive amount, or It could be just pure advertisement as Stake sponsored his bet.
Nevertheless, this could be good for crypto adaption in the field of gambling, internationally of course.
We do not know the order in which things happened, it is possible that Drake gambled at the website just because he liked it, after all Drake has a reputation for being a big gambler, and then when stake saw the huge amount of new gamblers that got into their site because of the bet then they just decided to contact him and to try to create a partnership with him, however regardless of the order in which this happened I think stake made the right call and will become even more popular thanks to this move.
Drake, being a casino fan, people will not be surprised if he keeps gambling at the stake casino because he is certainly a big gambler that is used on betting a huge amount, and create huge wins too in some of that. And maybe stake has found him as a usual gambler in their website and decided to make him as a partner and now he becomes the cover of their gambling website. This is a perfect way using a big celebrity to promote the stake casino as its now very popular and made a lot of customers after seeing Drake partners with the stake.
2446  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which sport interests you!!! on: April 10, 2022, 09:52:19 PM
I've never played handball, although in my country this sport is quite well developed. As far as I know the game of handball makes athletes very tough and strong, and girls handball players also have these qualities.

I have never bet on handball because I don't know the players and teams very well. For me it is more understandable to bet on soccer championships.
This game handball is not really popular in my country but i know in some of the developed countries, this is very much famous and well played. This is more likely similar to football i guess but it needs more hand skills to win such game. Handball is played with dribbling, throwing and catching so you have to develop these skills. And since its not really popular here, i have not experienced betting in this kind of game. Its good to bet if you think you know the game well.
2447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UFC fighters will get their bonus pay by Bitcoin on: April 10, 2022, 09:33:58 PM
Since it's just a "bonus", I don't think there's much to complain about it. Converting it to fiat if needed shouldn't pose that huge of a problem for them imo, and I don't think they have to worry about it's value if they were to convert it to fiat immediately. Maybe have some of their managers handle that issue, ask the athletes what they really want and then let the managers handle the specific details themselves. As for being happy or not, well, it is a bonus, pretty sure most of them would be happy whether it was in cryptocurrency or not.
The managers will surely educate their athletes first how bitcoin works so that they will have an idea whether to keep it as an investment or just convert it into fiat once they need the cash. This is one good way to spread awareness about bitcoin and crypto.com has made its perfect choice to start it with the international fighters as it brings fast adoption for bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Yes, its just a bonus but its value is definitely worth to keep.
2448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscar Awards 2022 betting thread on: April 10, 2022, 09:17:47 PM
I saw a youtube speculating that the slap is just staged, because they say that no one is watching Oscars anymore, and after that slap, here's what happened.

Oscars audience grew by 555,000 after Will Smith slapped Chris Rock.

Quote
The Oscars audience swelled by more than half a million people on Sunday shortly after Will Smith slapped Chris Rock, capping the awards show with a late-night surge.

At 10:27 p.m., Mr. Smith attacked Mr. Rock after the comedian delivered a joke onstage about Mr. Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. Nearly 17.4 million viewers were watching in the minutes after the slap, up from 16.8 million shortly before it, according to Nielsen data released by ABC.

If the speculation is right, then congratulations to them as they did a great job on acting.
Maybe it makes sense as it became the most trending news right after what happened. Both have played their part well and have created a deep impact on the audience. But how about the sanctions that have made by the OSCARS committee? Are they all fake and scripted?  I guess the OSCARS will have to do it all alone.
2449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: April 10, 2022, 08:59:19 PM
The purpose is for me to gain opinion from the posters on which team I should bet that the majority of you here think would win the NBA Finals. Knowing there are experts here, I'm confident I would get the best advice on which I should risk my money to gain value at the current odds.

Well, to be honest it's pretty tough in choosing a team that most likely to win the championship this playoffs.
The Suns will be the most favourite to win here, but the Warriors can beat them in a seven game series, even the Memphis could actually beat them.
While on the other hand, I heavily favour the Nets to win it all IF they remain fully healthy for the rest of the playoffs.
I'd really like to bet on thet Nets here, but I don't I feel like KD or Kyrie is most susceptible in injuries during the playoffs lol.
There are times that i would favor Suns for their high performance in every game but actually, all the teams are doing good in every game. Its just that some got unlucky that we have seen lead players experiencing injuries and they were not able to contribute in the game. Bucks are very competitive and even Nets have high chances to be the NBA champion this season. But i think in the end, the Phoenix Suns has taken the lead so i'll go for it as my bet.
2450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sports betting sites that return your money when you lose. on: April 10, 2022, 08:34:29 PM
Maybe it's a good idea to follow your advice to join him, who knows if you follow him, you can also earn a lot of money as he said. If your friend can make a lot of money from online sports sites, he is a veteran too. And if he is a close friend to you, maybe I will follow his advice but don't use big money because I am afraid to see big losses Grin

Well, that's up to you. Which one will you choose Grin
There's no wrong if you try to follow your friend's advice, as long as you only bet a small amount first so that if you lose, it won't hurt you that much. After all, you won't know if he's telling the truth or not unless you're going to experience it by yourself. But always remember that once you're into gambling, never expect winning all the time, you will surely lose but somehow if you get lucky, you will win an amount more than you lose.
2451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Rollers on: April 10, 2022, 08:05:17 PM
I haven't but probably that's one of the biggest that I can see from others post. Whoever that person may be, that 23BTC is just like a spare money to him.

and I don't whether this player have managed to make a win or not. Shocked
It's possible that it came from his winnings before or just plain holdings that he decided to gamble and he can gamble that easy with that amount. That's a life fortune there.
Most probably, some of it came from his winnings and some are from his hard earned money. People who bet this huge amount might come from high standards of living and has nothing to do with their money than to gamble. So no pressures even if they win or lose at the end, the fact that they enjoy it, its definitely fine. This is one way of making a fortune too once they get lucky and win twice their bet.
2452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: REASON WHY ALTCOIN MARKET HARD TO SPECULATE on: April 09, 2022, 11:53:29 PM
Many of the altcoins are centralized and investors of it doesn't see that factor. Because, in most of the perspective of investors, they're just mere investors and doesn't have to be looking at the technical side of it so that doesn't really matter at all.

The one big reason why alt market is hard to speculate is it's prone to manipulation which is really happening at most times.
And definitely, the altcoin market is the favorite ground for scammers. This makes most of the altcoins are based on fuds and hypes. And since they can be easily manipulated with greedy and profit centered developers, altcoins are mostly low valued and eventually end up losing their value since there are no demands from the community.
2453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: potential moonshots on: April 09, 2022, 11:10:33 PM
Hello!I guess we all know its more reasonable to invest money into stable projects like BTC/ETH/SOL/ATOM/MATIC/DOT ect, but this isnt what this thread is about.
So if you were to gamble with a certain smaller percentage of your capital, which yet small and unknown projects would you invest into and why?

Why does it feel like you are asking for some get rich quick kinda shitcoin investment Grin I believe that this is what you are asking since you used the word "Gamble" I never gamble my investment in crypto whatsoever because I mean to make profits even if it will take me time which I am prepared to take and you should stick to your initial listed coins too instead of trying to catch a hyped project.
If that's the case OP, you should not be investing but rather gambling in casinos since you are not hoping to make guaranteed profits. However, investing in coins you are not yet even familiar is like gambling your money into it. But i tell you, you will just waste your money and time investing in shitcoins, better always find established coins to invest.
2454  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad economy is not good for either super rich or very rich on: April 09, 2022, 10:35:20 PM
Bad economy is worse off because the situation will deteriorate the more and the poor people living there will suffer more. However no type economy is good for bad decision or policy aa it will not take people out of poverty line but to bring them into more poverty. The reason for bad economy is bad policy from the government. Poor people have limited resources for themselves and family but if the situation becomes worse then the extended families may be cut off.
Bad economy brings negative impact to everyone, but mostly the poorest people are the most affected. It will make their life's situations worst that will lead them to extreme poverty and hunger. This is why when candidates run in the election, they always promise the poor people to bring good economy, of course the poor ones stick to it and vote for them. But as always, promises have gone totally when the election ends.
2455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Few Tips I learnt from trading that blew my account. on: April 09, 2022, 09:57:40 PM

[5]. Don't be greedy:The master of it all.
Greediness can reap you off all your profits already gained from the market when you're trying to gain it all. Be comtempted with the profit you've got and have plans for profits taking.
This is one the biggest challenge I faced during my early time of trading and even now but it's reduced and controled.

True, when we are too greedy for big profits then we will regret it, I often get when trading there is an opportunity to sell when the price skyrockets to thousands of percent, unfortunately I thought that the price would continue to rise but what happened was the opposite, it dropped more than 90% and continued drop so I lost the moment to profit.
Greed may sometimes be useful in some ways, but mostly, when you come to invest, you should never be driven by greed, or simply just learn to control it. Because its part of being a human, so eventually it will always develop no matter what, but as long as you can reduce or control it, then things will be fine. However, when we are in crypto investing, we should always take time to sell when the prices of the coins have increased a lot, that way we will sell in profits, not with losses. Because knowing the market is so volatile, the prices will eventually drop down without us knowing so better sell them when there are good opportunities to sell.
2456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are getting stronger, how are you contributing? on: April 09, 2022, 09:44:25 PM
It's nice and overwhelming to see those people that have come to you and ask for that logo, it's benefiting both of you.

I was just thinking yesterday what if I'll go out and wear a t-shirt having a little logo of bitcoin at the back bottom side of my t-shirt. But I've also remembered that it's not just the enthusiasts that we're going to deal with personally.

But there could also be those bad people that have ill intentions to us if they've known that we're into bitcoin and could do an attack through their wrenches.
You have a good taste of art OP so i'm not surprised if people will keep coming back to you for orders. Just keep doing it, its a great way for bitcoin awareness.

Well, i've known a friend of mine who keeps using his cap with bitcoin signature and he wears it everywhere he goes. Luckily, the people here are not thinking such negative attacks on him knowing he's into bitcoin. But you are right, it could trigger those bad people ands make you as their new target. So we should still be careful at all times. Currently, i'm into sharing my bitcoin experience into some of my relatives, not really my idea but since they ask for it so i'm sharing them some tips too if ever they want to enter into crypto market.
2457  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers show no mercy, this is how serious crypto investment has become on: April 09, 2022, 08:47:37 AM
Yea.. large scale hackers sure made a lot of money, but I think your claim is a bit too far-fetched.

Guess what — scammers will always exist, inside and outside of the cryptocurrency space. Nothing is going to save people from scams than to stop being so naive and delusional.
So being scammed is definitely a choice of ours. We will not be scammed if we will not allow them to. This is why we need to be more knowledgeable on the investments we want to take so as not to make wrong decisions that will only lead us to be the target of scams. And as much as money is involved, we should always learn to start with minimal capital first especially on the part of newbies. And increase it gradually once we start to make profits from it.
2458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who are the top crypto influencers on: April 08, 2022, 11:56:17 PM
Who are the top crypto influencers  to follow in twitter

Is that a serious question?  The last thing you want to do is follow some type of influencer.  They are all driven by greed and will push anything they are getting paid to push.  Better off digging through the available data online, learning crypto on your own and then when you are comfortable with your knowledge follow people that align with your thinking.  Otherwise you will be burned.  Don't be one of those.
Well, following some smart crypto influencers can be useful in some ways, but mostly they don't bring out the best in us, because they are more focused on their self-attainment. So if you are wise enough, you should never rely even to some top crypto influencers. Learn on your own and by making you more exposed in different experiences you gained, you will bring out the best in you. No need to rely for others, trust on your own abilities and skills. Whatever the result of your actions, you are responsible for it and not those crypto influencers you only found in the internet.
2459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 08, 2022, 11:43:03 PM
I am prepared for either direction, I sold some of my portfolio in 2021 & I have it sitting there in fiat, ready to buy back + more if we enter a bear market. If we don’t enter a bear market then no problem.
The fact that the market is very unpredictable, then its a good thing that we should be prepared whatever the market direction may be. And by reserving a huge fund either from selling your coins when the market hit its last ATH, then you will be able to maximize your opportunity to buy cheap but potential coins during the bear market. Because its a sure thing that once you buy and hold a lot of promising coins at a bear market, gaining a huge profits  when the market turns to bullish will be very possible.
2460  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The reason people join bitcointalk forum on: April 08, 2022, 10:16:28 PM
The zeal to make money has made many to learn more about bitcoin even if their main motive of joining the bitcointalk forum is to just make money to earn a living.
I don't think if their main motive just to earn money they're learn about Bitcoin, instead they're learn how to join bounties, how to hide using alt to cheat the bounties and how to fulfill the requirements with less effort. It's really wrong motive to think this forum only to earn money, they wouldn't care with forum... that's why altcoin discussion is messed up.

I see most people who joined signature campaign with Bitcoin payment aren't thought this forum is for money, but they're also care with forum and like to learn about Bitcoin, money is just a bonus for them.
The primary aim why we need to engage in bitcointalk forum is to learn and gained more knowledge about bitcoin, but only those who are paid with bitcoin can relate to this. Because if they can't be aware about bitcoin and the facts about it, they can't create good discussion on the given threads in the forum. Getting merits and having paid in bitcoin will definitely follow as a bonus. Otherwise, people come into the forum just to earn money and all they did is just spamming around without the intent of making the forum more relevant for others.
