2461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting On US Elections... on: November 09, 2016, 04:08:01 PM
Had a bet against Hillary as I saw a change coming because Trump was in everybody's talks with his extreme decisions that he announced he will take after becoming President, and he finally won.
Yeah sometimes what we or even the candidate himself expects dos not happen. Now you see Putin also appraises his win and thinks he is a nice person and all, actually honestly also saying not always a sweet heart person can manage the run the country and sometimes wise and greedy people can because they will use the best of knowledge.
2462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: November 09, 2016, 03:43:41 PM
Bitcoin is traded a lot against altcoins in many exchanges.
If suddenly that demand would vanish, we would have an over supply of bitcoins on the market and that would lead us to a drop in the bitcoin price.
Of course bitcoin could survive that scenario, since it pulls its strength out if the infrastructure built around bitcoin, but it would not be pleasent.
Yes, it is true that the transactions would reduce obviously and the demand of bitcoin will be reduced too, but I am sure that won't affect the price of bitcoins since the price of bitcoins is determined by big holders.
The best thing would be if there were limited alt coins.
2463  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Good way of promotion? on: November 09, 2016, 01:59:55 PM
Hey guys can you suggest a good way to get people to be intereste in a certain service? Like a promotion or something.
Please suggest anything other than signature campaign, facebook/twitter bounty campaign. I believe those three are not that effective to get long term results.
Other than campaigns means free credits through games and around or trail accounts with limited features are some of the ideas to attract people to test your news services.

It would be better if you share the nature of your services. Because, that will help people here to suggest according to the services you are going to provide.
2464  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think will be a best time to buy bitcoin? on: November 06, 2016, 02:28:09 PM
When do you think will be a best time to buy bitcoin and when is the best time to keep bitcoin first before selling?
The concept is same like trading , buy low and sell at the high price but the main problem is when the price reached those prices.?
Except you want to buy bitcoin for the sake of investment or do some altcoin trading you can buy it as soon as you're ready.

As have been told earlier , no one can determining when the best time to buy bitcoin so it's back to the own perceptions about this.
For long term investments, it is always to good buy at any trend and any situation regardless of bitcoin's price levels. Because, you will be in definite profits in long term with bitcoin investments certainly. I am the one, following above strategies for buying bitcoins so far. Interestingly, I am in profits when considering my average buying prices.
2465  Other / Off-topic / Re: Loan money on: November 06, 2016, 01:44:52 PM
Well for me thats not a bad idea if he had a money to repay on certain time period as discuss, and since we cannot really have money all the times thats why some other people will barrow some money just yo attain to the events they wish to go, but that is personal debts and doesn't even need tp be posted in this furom, they should go to their nearest kin, friends and neighboors to do so,
Loans are good for me too in emergency situations with the condition of within loan period we will be getting money to cover loan money and interest together. When this condition will be in doubt, we should not deal for a loan with strangers. In that situations, dealing with close friends and relatives must be a wise idea to protect our reputation.
2466  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: VPN that accepts Bitcoin on: November 06, 2016, 01:28:07 PM
Hey, Cheesy , do you know whether ipvanish could work on high-security sites like fiat casino betmotion? They restrict by country and the one I've used before(can't remember the name) didn't work. I couldn't play on the site since they were able to detect my region despite the vpn.

Or would Private Internet Access work better? I'm currently looking through these the two and would appreciate first-hand experience.

Anyone? Thanks!
IPvanish offers 7 days money back guarantee for their all plans. I like to suggest you to go for one month plan by paying $10 in bitcoins and test your specific sites whether they are working or not. In case if you are not finding them not suitable for for your purposes, you can simply go for refund, they will process it with no questions will be asked.

2467  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How long will signature campaigns last? on: November 06, 2016, 01:17:33 PM
It depends on what campaign you are referring to because every signature campaign has a different campaign manager and owner.
It can be the owner can no longer fund the campaign cause running a signature campaign costs a lot, or it can be when a signature campaign is not effective in promoting a certain site .
But overall, we could say signature campaigns will last for ever regardless of any specific campaigns which are currently active. Because, as long as bitcoin based businesses need to attract new customers or to make existing customers to be sticking within their business, they will be in need to continue their campaigns.

I predict when bitcoin prices reaches huge levels in near future, there would be some 200 to 500 campaigns will be running here as there would be up to 25% of world population will be using bitcoin payments/investments for their life.
2468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Controlling your temper in gambling on: November 06, 2016, 01:06:00 PM
I don't know if I believe in any of these tricks, if you keep on gambling it's more likely that you'll become addicted some day.
So you should always limit the time you gamble and not make it a daily or even weekly thing.

And some people get addicted easier than others..

The big problem is the potencial earning gambling may give you, soo sometimes you will risk your money into it, there is no way to say no i wont spent a single coin into gambling, there is a risk and who plays does know it, the thing is how to stay away or control those before it ruins a life.
That's right, when my friend first introduced me to bitcoin gambling and told me that the rolls are fair (he told about PD ) then I was really excited and thought hehe I would clear up all the balance of PD in a day, but then I had some losses and I was fortunate enough that my friend told me hey, its fair but you cannot really win with it.
2469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much amount of bet you prefer? on: November 06, 2016, 12:58:13 PM
I tend to gambled with a very low amount,it's depends on the game, if dice game, i can gamble with 100-1000 satoshi, if casino games like poker, blackjack or roulette i can bet up to 10.000 satoshi, but everytime i played i always have a daily limit, i enjoyed gambling, i played it for fun that's why i don't like to bet big
I also gamble like 0.0005 btc on dice ( average bet ) and when it comes to sports since I don't make much bets I place like 0.0025 and 0.005 BTC on around 2.00 odds. The best thing with sports gambling is that I have fun too while I know I am not cheated by house and also I am not a pro at verifying my rolls at any dice site.
2470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was bitcoin designed to be global? on: November 05, 2016, 04:34:23 PM
I think the point was for bitcoin to not replace fiat
But in reality, only the fittest will survive so for example fiats/bank/gold as medium of exchange/paypal/WU will find hard time. After a century may get replaced too.

to be an alternative way to hold and send money outside of control of banks or governments. It puts the power more in the individual's control.
The alternative way of saving and spending money will finds its importance by showing its advantages. By powering people bitcoin develops its power. Wherever people prefer freedom, bitcoin would be the right solution, so definitely deserve to be global.
2471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: November 05, 2016, 04:21:14 PM
You can't control your greediness since it is in nature of human beings and that is main obstacle of staying away from gambling. If you are used to gamble with Bitcoin then you are lucky and can stay away more easily than typical gambler. All you need to do is not to keep Bitcoin in your possession or immediate access this will be helpful for sure.
gambling online using bitcoin even much more harder to stay away as you provided an easy access anytime and anywhere to gamble just to touch your smartphone and you are sit on the casino table. technology sometimes become a boomerang , you need to be more careful use them . it's more easier when you able to stay away from internet then you would stay away from gambling too.
The revolution in communication technology has allowed us to have anything in the tips of our fingers, for better or worse, so today self-control is more important than ever.
You are right when someone is addicted like I am a bit addicted then we feel that there's nothing better than gambling and even the pocket money children get they spend in lottery in the hope of winning much more. I have children near my house who often gamble their money, and well when I am myself addicted I can't say anything to them.
2472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Girls also gamble? on: November 05, 2016, 04:05:56 PM
@OP this is like asking do bitch (female dog) bark?  Of course girls do gamble.  They are human and not different from men.  They have the same senses like men and also want entertainment and at the same time chance of winning on that entertainment.  In fact in my area, they are the one (girls) I often saw playing a poker.
Not like that. We all know girls are less known to gambling and online activities moreover they are of scared nature by birth (well, most of them ) so they never do something without asking their parents or friends. So, gambling would never be allowed by their parents/friend I think, while boys do the things and then see what happens so they are more prone to things like gambling.
2473  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The best cloud mining site !!! on: November 05, 2016, 03:16:43 PM
Bro, honestly, don't use cloud mining. Seriously, you gonna lose lotta money not because it is a scam, etc, it's just because the moment is not favorable to do this activity. Even with hashnest the maintenance fees are expensive and they work with contracts, this sucks because you goin to be kinda stuck into the system.
Right, now a days mining has become really low profit business and when we do cloud mining we even pay fees from that (obviously if they are doing it legit they will charge fees ) so if you want to mine, better to mine ourselves even with a low of hash power as there are few new algorithm altcoins which are still profitable to mine.
2474  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where you invest? on: November 05, 2016, 02:45:49 PM
You can invest it in two things, First is in bitcoin, Buy a decent amount of bitcoin too keep and wait for the price to increase.
Second is pick some promising altcoins and start trading. The buy low sell high strategy works for both of them.

What you should avoid is the HYIP/Ponzi/Pyramid schemes.  Anything that is too good to be true is not TRUE!
You are right every word just one question which I being into crypto for years now also not sure : how to pick a promising alt coin ? Because everytime I see some ICO going on what I know is just buy if there is a huge amount invested and don't invest if not many people are buying. But I think that's not the proper way to determine its worth, right ?
2475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: November 05, 2016, 01:05:14 PM
I believe holding bitcoin for a very long time will ultimately pay off. Those who started with bitcoin can bear witness with this. Even dating back just a year ago, there has been a substantial increase in the price and we hope that with time, its going to increase more.
believing and keep promoting this big investment that we are into will allow us to gain more and more in the future
this project will increase more popularity and holding it for longer years will give us fortune.
Yes, though holding bitcoins for a long time is a good idea, but when I do I am tempted and sell my bitcoins when the price reaches around 700-800$ and buy when the price is around 300-400$ and this way I feel much better than just plain holding. Because the time till you guys will hold and make money I will do the same but with extra bitcoins earned Smiley
2476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: November 05, 2016, 12:40:28 PM
Bitcoin is classed as real money now and has more attributes associated with real money than normal paper currency which is actually no longer real money since president Nixon unpegged the U.S Dollar from the gold standard, thus rendering it completely worthless. It only has worth and value as long as people are still using it.

Who in the world classes Bitcoin as real money?

In the States, the Constitution says that only gold and silver are real money. So, even fiat isn't real money.

Cool
Depends really what your definition is for real money, for me real money is something that has worth which bitcoins have. So for me, I would any day of the life will buy bitcoins for cash because there is no difference for me. While for someone who thinks real is only things that can be touched then cash is real money for him/her.
2477  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 05, 2016, 12:29:55 PM
Yes the price matters of the bitcoin and I think that its pretty important to have the price so we can see what is happening with it due to the fact that people are buying and selling on it.
If we do not have a price there will be less more buyers..

A value of something is really important and that is what and why we are working for. So basically if bitcoin has no value do you think that you would waste your time spending a lot of effort to earn some good bitcoins? Of course not, but because of bitcoins good price we are able to work harder for it because we know that it is valuable.
The price is obviously very important to us here, we are more inspired when we see a good price and whatever we do we are all happy when the price of bitcoin is increasing because we feel that we are living in a progressive world which is the crypto world.
BItcoins price matters only because others will not respect it equally if the price is low. I mean okay I would still save some 10 bitcoins for future if the price if 100$ or 1000$ but people around me will not respect me that much if I am saving something that has just 100$ worth actually.
2478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: November 04, 2016, 08:16:47 PM
If you already win, don't play more or you will just end up losing. Control yourself from both winning and losing. Don't be greedy if you are winning. And control youself from betting more if your lossing. Also set a target profit everytime you play. A profit which is possible to obtain. That will help you to get greedy.

Indeed this is good advice it is good to stop when someone is on winning streak but it is very hard decision, if we learn how to control our emotions to play on online gambling site than it is really good for a person, because greedy person has no life in gambling.

it's like you need to take a break after winning a lot from gambling because if you are going to continue on your game just aim a higher amount you are more likely to lose it at all . we need to be distant from gambling after that event temporarily in order to prevent losing more money Grin
That's not simple or easy to follow. I have done a lot of gambling and a time was there when I was addicted like hell. I knew that its giving me loss, I will never win from it and all the shit but still I never got any chance to leave it, I was just saying to myself that just one big win and I will stop. Anyways thankfully now I am away from the addiction.
2479  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: November 04, 2016, 07:46:37 PM
I think that yesterday was a panic selling by some people because the china government has tried (or did) affected the bitcoin by tried to control it, but the price again went a little up.

I do not think that yesterday's events and fluctuations in the price of Bitcoin is just a panic. Surely there are some hidden reasons

The reason behing the panic is that there are rumors that the chinese government will implement some strict rules against bitcoin and they would start taxing them heavily in order to reduce the amount of money flowing out of the country and this news had a big impact in the price
Let the chinese do all they can but the impact will never reach the extent that will not bring bitcoin completely down because they can only manage controlling their citizens who are using bitcoin but not other country's citizens. Panic selling does happen most probably just after a sharp rise. I guess Chinese maybe just a trigger this time.
2480  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: November 04, 2016, 07:16:41 PM
maybe i will teach my kids to do faucet like play games with bitcoin reward and i will explain step by step what is bitcoin, how to get it, and what we gonna do with our bitcoin. i think we can teach kid by doing some play but don't teach them for playing gambling.

This is a great idea on how you are going to teach kids with bitcoin and for sure they are going to enjoy that. And make some other competition , so if you are teaching 2-3 kids make some tournament for them whoever is going to have the most claimed faucets and highest satoshi's will be rewarded by you. And that is going to make them learn more about bitcoins and encourage.
Yes, that is a good idea but in addition, you can just ask a kid to purchase an item or pay for service online using bitcoin payments, in the process of making that payment the kid will earn alot about bitcoin.
Usually kids ask so many questions, when we are giving them some practical approach, surely they will come up with questions, so they will learn many things on bitcoin at end.
