1761  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: June 04, 2017, 07:58:54 AM
rich with holding bitcoin  Cool . I don't know if anyone holds bitcoin for 2 years "it's a long times" because most bitcoin holders will sell it if there is a price increase. imagine who can hold the bitcoin for that long and enjoy the result of being a new rich people so it's amazing.
I am not rich still I hold my bitcoins since 2013. It become possible for me just due to I strongly believe into bitcoin's concepts and hence its future too. I earned bitcoins when it was around $800 to $900 and I held them tight even the prices traded below $200 and now I am enjoying my passion toward bitcoins.

Relatively I am not new people to bitcoin, still I am too thanking bitcoin system for providing such opportunity to change my life positively.
1762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: June 04, 2017, 06:34:44 AM
I have most of the events when i want to explain about bitcoin and they said it is fake and they hated it. And now i left it to explain about bitcoin to others. Because, firstly, i have no time to waste for other who don't sure interest on bitcoin and who don't' trust on bitcoin. If someone seriously want to know about bitcoin and also want to earn from it, then sure i am always ready to explain about bitcoin.
Yes, this is good that you tried to tell someone about the bitcoin and mostly people don’t believe in what you say, I think it is something serious that why not to check your own interpersonal skills like you may have some problem with the communication skills.

I think being a Hero Member you will be earning quite a handsome amount from the signature campaigns even so why don’t you show them the earnings as a proof to your saying ?
1763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: June 04, 2017, 06:14:01 AM
Well cash will still be better than bitcoin that's because as you said, you work on real life, in fees I think for me the tax are the fees but here in our country they will return some percentage so its okay, you can buy anything with money, for confirmation time I would say if they pay you direct deposit in your bank, for exchange yes there are no risk as long as you don't get holdup by thieves, and yeah everyone knows about money because its the most important thing in this world right now. Bitcoin still has many flows, the exchange rate is not constant so its hard for bitcoin to bit cash.
Yeah I agree there are many situations that compel me to say that the cash is better than the bitcoin. In cash based transaction, you don’t have to wait for the confirmation of the transaction nor do you have to pay any extra charges on the payment transaction unlike the Bitcoin. The bitcoin fees are way high and are increasing more which proves that cash is the better one.
1764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? on: June 03, 2017, 09:07:24 PM
It doesn't matter if a person is rich or not for him or her to be interested in using Bitcoin. Even if they are wealthy, if they get so curious on what bitcoin is, then they will surely find their way and start to learn about it.

There's nothing negative effect for us "normal people" if the rich ones will also get a hook in this kind of thing. We should be glad since the number of people who are using it will increase. And it is also a good thing if those elite ones will provide a better opportunity for bitcoin to be more recognizable in the world since they have the power and all.
I guess this is the beauty of the bitcoin that it provides a distinctive field of opportunities. We all know the fact that the bitcoin provides equal opportunities to all irrespective of the wealth and gender discrimination but think over it the poor becomes a user and start for collecting of the bitcoin while the rich becomes an investor directly. Now if we compare its marginal utility and marginal profit I am sure the rich people get a great share.
1765  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading VS Bitcoin! on: June 03, 2017, 08:48:18 PM
I think that trading cryptocurrencies is much harder than trading on forex, because you never know if the crypto you want to invest in will remain for a longer time.
If you want to trade cheap coins, then be extremely careful.

If you are having hard time to do crypto trading then you must be able to choose only those alt coins that has good reputation. And for me, I find trading of alt coins easier than forex it is harder to predict and get profit in forex because I'm not that an expert there. And though I'm not an expert in alt coin trading, I can still profit.
I am getting mixed results even with reputed altcoins, they are not consistent with their price movements also there will be no guarantee that they will bounce back after a downfall unlike bitcoins. In cryptocurrencies, I have observed trading bitcoins against fiats is always profitable when not finding significant profits, I just hold my positions. So, it is always guaranteed for profit making.
1766  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE] Speed up BTC unconfirmed transaction to confirmed on: June 03, 2017, 08:25:58 PM
I am not miner, but i have access to transaction accelerator link. I successfully accelerated 28 transaction bulk in one block. Maximum i dont know. Minimum fee for miners was 2500 satoshi.

I always online from 05:00 UTC till 20:00 UTC
Are you sure just with 2500 satoshi transaction fee, you could get us transactions confirmed ? Ridiculous ! I am paying at least 50x more tx fees and still waiting for long hours some times.

Why not you share that link so that we do not need to "disturb" you ?  Wink

If you are concerning about making some serious income then you can move this topic into services section there you can do this as a full time services with huge earning potential.
1767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: June 03, 2017, 07:34:08 PM
Holding bitcoin has historically been a good way to make money, whether it still is I'm not sure but since I don't have any particularly useful skills my only strategy to make money is holding bitcoin and altcoins long term.
Yeah true I agree it is definitely a good way to make money. When you are looking into long term to achieve your goals it definitely works and with the increasing demand and the acceptance it is now clear to the world that the bitcoin have a great potential to make you rich enough. Honestly speaking it is too easy to be understand by even a lay man.
1768  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: About investing in Btc on: June 03, 2017, 07:12:16 PM
If you see potential in cryptocurrency, you should just invest. dont be put off by the volatility and the price going up and down. All free markets will have this kind of price movement, it is completely normal. as long as you have a good reason to invest, you should. Just dont invest if you only expect the price to go up.
Yes, those understanding the potential and the scope of the bitcoin and the whole crypto currency. The crypto currency have a lot of scope for the future and currently those who understand the market to how to deal with it and how to manage an effective portfolio. Those who invest only in a single coin are not that successful as compare to those who keep a proper active portfolio.
1769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: June 03, 2017, 06:50:06 PM
Experience does matter in gambling because they can control them self while betting I've seen many people who win some amount at start that's luck or skill but they keep doing it and loose all in the end while experienced player stop betting after winning some amount.

Probably, but that is really the only part where experience matters. But if we are talking about the outcome of every bet then it doesn't matter. This isn't sports where you can be the best at, for example, tennis when you practice very hard and play against the best of the world. Experience matters only on decisions whether to roll again or not and just withdraw.
It does matters. You will see a lot of new gamblers gamble on 90% win chance and they just believe that they will win easily. While if you actually analyze the situation you will see that loosing is most most probable when betting on 90% ( I don't know why but its actually a fact ). Experience can change your view towards gambling and loss/wins but it can't change the results though, yes.
1770  Economy / Gambling / Re: IMPORTANT ★ Your password may have been stolen!!! on: June 03, 2017, 06:16:07 PM
To safe-dice thank you for the information.
Yes, we need to thank safe dice for opening this topic just to spread awareness. I too got more than 3 emails from crytocurrency exchanges for confirming password reset requests whereas I was not requesting anything like that.
It seems some hackers stole some crypto based data and based on user-names/other credentials, they are trying to log in crypto related services. I guess it is time to reset password with the accounts where we maintain big balances.

Someone logged in my account and send my balance to an unknown address ! I lost 50 euros   Sad Sad Sad
Could you please share where you account was hacked and you got habit of having same user name and password for all of your accounts like in gambling sites/exchanges/mining pools ?

Great milestone achieved ! Hope some more million bets happens soon and more giveaways will be powered by bitsler and baryom !!
1772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: June 03, 2017, 05:20:07 PM
When started to use bitcoin that time i used XAPO and COINBASE , till some time back i was using coinbase but after they all started to charge for incoming and outgoing transaction i stopped them. Now i am using Electrum Desktop wallet as i have full control on my wallet address and i can use it any way and any where by just remembering the passphrase

I started out the same way as well, and I totally understand why.  It was super convenient and easy to purchase and use, but the mere fact that you are relying on those centralized exchanges to purchase and store coins are dangerous.  Even purchasing your coins from there makes me, personally, uncomfortable.  Now and days I just use localbitcoins.com or bitsquare.io.
Dear mate let me explain you something… you may have some problems with the exchanges but we are not supposed to talk about the exchange in this conversation. It was something about the wallet that you were supposed to talk about. Anyway leaving this all and coming to a point that you have discussed and I want it to be clear it to all.

The electronic currency storage is no doubt a way high risky job. Those who don’t want to take risk them better to sleep only.
1773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: June 03, 2017, 03:33:22 PM
There are only a few possible reasons why Bitcoin will be #1

1. It is the defacto and the founder which gives it intrinsic value.
2. It is the most popular and will just continue to be that way.

It is insane to see why a coin that is flawed as much as Bitcoin be as popular because its a founding coin.
I don’t see why you think it is insane for this to happen, even if we admit there are some problems with bitcoin, just look at the music industry, have you heard the garbage they are producing, the music is very bad or look at Hollywood and the horrible movies and yet, they are making a lot of money and its popular, so what you are describing happens everywhere not only in bitcoin.
Could you please let me know what is the resemblance between any economic system and a music industry?
They both are of the different nature of things, come on how could someone be so silly how could someone compare the bitcoin with a music industry or a music band ?

This is so ridiculous. I find no match in both of them to compare at all. We need some mature people in the forum guys.
1774  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: June 03, 2017, 11:36:52 AM
The best investments right now are not bitcoin. it is the altcoins. bitcoin will not multiply your money but an unknown altcoin with lots of potential will be able to generate insane amounts of income from its price multiplying several times.
I agree with you. Bitcoin's price has to go up hundreds of dollars for you to realize significant profit. some altcoins only have to go up 1 dollar or 2 for you to double or tripple your money. its always better to find something that the markets havent seen so you can get an edge from being an early adopter.
Yes, one hundred percent agree with you. The Bitcoin price have increase like in hundreds of dollars also the investment in the bitcoins is quite huge as compare to the new emerging alts. I enjoy the profit I gain from the alts in the ICO. The reason I chose ICO for investment is very simple, the alts launched are at a discount price and if they don’t dump they give you a profit up to 8X.
1775  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to increase BTC? on: June 03, 2017, 08:00:25 AM
Hey guys.

How can I increase my bitcoin money? I am a bit curious to those people who can easily make money “btc” grow fast. How do they it correctly?
Can I ask a bit of advice on how to manage it like what you do?
Of course I know many people here want to know too.

Maybe it is good to share a little of it. It would be great if we grow together.

Easily grow BTC?
No, not easy.
There are many option: investing (ICO), tradings, and probably Mining.
The signature campaigns no doubt are a very good source of earning the Bitcoin. I started earning the bitcoin at first from the captcha and then the signature campaigns were really helpful to me in earning the bitcoin when I honestly saying had no capital at that time to invest and with the passage of time I started investing small amounts into the newly launched coins and it really gave me a boom.
1776  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin/Altcoin Portfolio strategies on: June 03, 2017, 06:52:07 AM
When pursuing a buy-and-hold strategy investing in crytocurrencies, what are the best practices for diversifying among them?

Ie.
Own by market cap' weight?
Own 10% of top ten (by market cap')?
Own varying percentages of your top 5 favourite projects?
90% Bitcoin, 10% new ICOs?

The idea is to mitigate some risk (Bitcoin is least volatile), whilst having exposure to alt-coins as 'emerging currencies' with high potential.

Any theories?

I'm leaning to one of weighted by market cap', but I'd like to hear other suggestions.
Well the market cap strategy is a very necessary one. I think all of the members should follow it. But beside the market cap I personally invest in the ICO launched currencies. Most of the currencies don’t dump and will give you quite a handsome profit. I am a big fan of the ICO and I enjoy the profit of the ICO more than the other alts such as etherium and LTC and many more.
1777  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin up altcoin dump on: June 02, 2017, 07:57:26 PM
When the btc price goes up, what is now a good time to buy altcoin or sell bitcoin? Huh
I would say, buy altcoin and hold some bitcoin. Most altcoins now are too cheap making it the best time to buy them. Though bitcoin has already reached another ATH in the past week, I can see that it is not yet the very peak of bitcoin. That it would still go up as what other bitcoin enthusiast are saying so better hold some bitcoin.
Yes exactly but I would suggest a little change. As the alt coin's price will go up only when the bitcoin's price decreases and hence you either do one of those, sell bitcoins or just buy more and more alt coins because holding btc and at the same time buying altcoins will create no profit and no loss situation. Believe in bitcoin or either go all in with a good altcoin when the price is high of bitcoins.
1778  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the price of the bitcoin at the end of 2017? on: May 28, 2017, 04:06:04 PM
Hello Bitcointalk forum! I'm happy to be part of this forum. I want to run a speculation contest about the price of bitcoin at the end of 2017. I'm allocating 0.05BTC to the person that can predict the most accurate price. End of the year means January 1 2018, 00:01 PST. Thanks.  Cheesy

Only one person will win so first accurate answer will be accepted! Goodluck.
This is funny you have come with a reward. I hope you have put quite an interesting question for discussion so there is no need of doing any rewards or making the people around excited for those rewards. There is no one to predict the accurate price in the forum but if the other things remain the same.

I believe bitcoin will be more than $10000 by the end of this year. You may wonder how I can be sure after we faced such a massive down fall. But it may be a trick by whales to buy more bitcoins for cheaper prices which may not available for ever here after.
1779  Economy / Speculation / Re: what's best time to invest in bitcoin ? on: May 28, 2017, 03:28:49 PM
If you back in 2009  that is the best to buy bitcoin  . Other people  bought bitcoin in 2009 and hold it for today for sure they become reach because the price is 2000 dollars plus. But it depends to you if want to buy bitcoin now or not. But for me I suggest to you buy bitcoin now because I believe the price of bitcoin after few weeks will hit again $3000 price . I think also before the end of this year maybe the price of bitcoin will reach $4000 because halving is near for sure the price increase.
Other than true followers of Satoshi, people who bought/mined bitcoins in 2009 to 2012, might have sold their bitcoins when they were seeing prices reaching $10/$20/$50/$100 levels for the first time and most probably regretting for their action. Hence early day buyers were not into their best time imho.

Only people who got agreed to unlimited potential of bitcoin's future are holding their coins till day from where ever they had bought it.

When we are believing into unlimited potential of bitcoin then we can buy every ever as there will be significant chances for bitcoin to grow further 100x to 1000x too in coming decades. So, best time must be today. If you ask similar question till my end of life, I may answer the same thing. Probably by the year 2117 the best time might have gone.
1780  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price theory on: May 28, 2017, 02:57:04 PM
I quess you are right, but what if all the holders start panic selling because of some event?
Most of the crypto users still think that bitcoin is a "stock" rather than real money.
This perception will change sooner or later.
It would be interesting to see if a panic event -- say, war -- had this effect or in fact further fortified Bitcoin as a safe haven for wealth. Perhaps Bitcoin is not yet that robust but I can see it being a wiser default option to fiat currencies than precious metals in the future.

With the current strides of Bitcoin I even doubt if a panic event might cause any potent serious effect on it because it's past through several of such issues in recent years and I'm hopeful the panic sellers have learnt a lot as a result and wouldn't fret to sell next time if there was even a war.
Yes, that must be a reason for bouncing back of bitcoin prices which is exactly happening right now. The panic selling may influence up to some levels but hopefully we are having enough investors to outnumber them. Still, the recent fall of ~$1000 was really a scary one. It may rewrite how bitcoin gains its value and who are all securing bitcoin from not falling continuously. There could be no concrete reasons still we can make few valid assumptions.
