1841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: May 12, 2017, 07:15:34 PM
Whether it is wrong or not it depends on your activities. If you are addicted to gambling then it would be harmful for you.
Harmful activities should be avoided because it's wrong.
On the other hand, if you want to measure it with moral principle then it must be wrong.

How would you know that you are not addicted? because as far as I can recall, if you keep on going back that means you are addicted. If you are not addicted than you would not keep on coming back to play or even think about it. It is wrong to begin with and will always be no matter from what perspective we see it
I think it is not so difficult to find out that either you are addicted in gambling or not.
If you are playing gambling continuously and cannot stop it then its mean that you are addicted to gambling. I think quieting gambling is become very difficult and specially if you are addicted to gambling.
1842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: May 12, 2017, 04:12:25 PM
Gambling can be profitable in the long run, provided we are not greedy or seek greater benefits than we have get. Profit 1%/day are better than 100% but only once.
How let's say you deposit 1 btc to gamble and don't win anything so you can't call the person greedy in this case.
Basic rule of gambling and it applies to anyone who gambles 'Deposit only the amount you can afford to lose' if you follow this rule you will either not gamble or if you lose you may not have any regret (hopefully)

Remember that gambling can't give us $50 to $100 per day, even you use 10 BTC. I am not just saying that i have been seen and also it is my experience of gambling. May be i am wrong but my whole experience of gambling lose is must we get and if we win than it is not guarantee we always win in everyday, than our skills and strategy also not worked.
I think that here the long term mean that to continue gambling for a long time.

Maybe you remain as lucky in short term, for a bet or to, but if you will invest your money for long term or you wll continue playing gambling for the whole day then it is more risky and there are chances to lose your money because no one can be so much lucky for every time .
1843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes the bitcoin price stronger in the market? on: May 11, 2017, 09:00:08 PM

Some people think that people spending Bitcoin is what causes the price to rise, but that's not the case. The price of Bitcoin rises simply because there are more Bitcoins being bought than there is being sold. When many people buy Bitcoin, all the amount that is currently available for sale at that particular price gets sold out, and then the higher priced Bitcoins that are available, become the new price of Bitcoin. That's how prices rise in all markets. The rising price is a sign that more and more money is getting converted into Bitcoin, by investors.

There are two main reasons why investors are preferring Bitcoin; One of them is that they're looking for a safe asset to place their money into, and especially in countries where there is capital controls Bitcoin provides important advantages. The other reason is, obviously, the consistently appreciating value of Bitcoin.
Well according to the economics the prices go high with the increase in the demand, when the demand is high and the supply is limited the prices will go high. Now people who spend the bitcoin will also try to make more so to cover the spending. While on the other hand we see new people buying or demanding to buy the bitcoin which is the actual reason to the high prices.
1844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: May 11, 2017, 08:29:24 PM
bitcoin for me is my source income Smiley i believe all people use bitcoin is more profit.. because bitcoin is amazing just need a network and you get a bitcoin Smiley

We've got the same description for bitcoin, for me bitcoin is also my source of income but only for part time. Because there are a lot of ways to earn with it. And also while earning bitcoin, I'm treating it as my long term investment because it's price is increasing even though there are times that it is falling.

I also find bitcoin as source income.  For me it is a gift to man kind that opens up a new horizon of potential earnings.  Aside from that I think it is somehow a fix to our faulty financial system since it gives us freedom on how to handle our money and be able to transfer it without the 3rd party transfer system.

Yes it surely is a great gift from above because it gives us another way to earn. And if you are a very hardworking person you will get what you want as soon as you are able to get enough bitcoin. While earning some of it, you can treat it already as your very own investment and it's win-win situation if you had it.
Yes it gives us many opportunities to earn in many ways even without bounding from trading or gambling or the signature campaign. We are here with too many opportunities to decide for us to choose the best one which can be more beneficial for us to earn. Also it have a great feature that without showing our identity to anyone we can earn even the next person sitting to us cannot know about our earnings.
1845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: May 11, 2017, 06:15:16 PM
Anything that is being used as a medium of exchange is money. Bitcoin, like gold, is money.

Bingo!

Well, the term money is right, but we have to be more specific about this, because there is a lot of money, like the fiat, that we use in the real world and the virtual money that we are using in the internet to buy stuffs and so on which is called cryptocurrencies. The term "Money" is the fiat, because it is the term that we are used on calling the currency that we are using in our everyday lives.
Yes I agree we need to specify it more when we talk about the Bitcoin as money. It is no doubt money with a virtual composition not physical.

Many of the people consider the fiat only as money and don’t accept the virtual currency as money. But I am hopeful that with the passage of time people will understand the concept and will not ask about the BTC whether it is money or not.
1846  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: May 07, 2017, 03:00:33 PM
The easiest way is to research into good Alt-coins and invest in them. GAME is up 30%+ just today, for example.
I did this before but finally I faced losses more than what I have booked earlier. Maybe over time I started failing with my researches but till today I could not find exact reasons for my losses. Currently I am not recommending anyone to go investing into altcoin trading.

The main thing is not to start gambling. An investor is less risky than a player. But still there is a risk, because this is a dangerous business
But I am not seeing gambling business a dangerous one for the gambling owner/investors. I guess gambling industry will turn as trillion dollars industry in very near future itself.
1847  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Online Shop that accepts BTC on: May 07, 2017, 02:36:09 PM
here in my country no stores are accepting bitcoin but i am hoping that soon they will adopt bitcoin in their business as mode of payment.
Your local stores may not accept bitcoin payments but I am sure you can find services online which are serving your locations by accepting bitcoin payments. For example, mobile talktimes are available for bitcoin payments for every part of this world means regardless of your country and your network provider, I believe can buy talktime for bitcoins.

Similarly check in this forum, there would be some people from your location and they will be ready to pay your bills by accepting bitcoins from you. You can avail such services through escrow and showing proof for physical bills are easy now a days as camera mobiles are available to everyone.
1848  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does speculation affect bitcoin trading on: May 07, 2017, 11:53:03 AM
I have been into forex trading for a long time and know from experience that market speculation is a norm but I would like to have you view on bitcoin trading and what affects the price movement?
Speculations are nothing but trader's/investor's view on price movements based on different news and events will be influencing entire bitcoin ecosystem. Hence you can expect speculation will get into reality in near future itself. But there are people who are just dreaming in the name of speculation, you can identify them like they are just coming up with no backing reasons for their view.

Speculation will give you some overview idea, but which are not enough for decision making for trading. You must have your own technical analysis along with following online news magazines so that you will be finding out what are factors affects price movements.
1849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one is better? Forex or crypto currency trading? on: May 07, 2017, 11:21:40 AM
For me, the better is cryptocurrency trading than forex. The reason is, the cryptocurreny trading has reach to far unlike forex is just starting. So because cryptocurrency is still alive until now it does mean that it is successful. So don't waste your time on forex let's go on crypto.
Whoa! Wondering if you have ever traded or understands what forex trade is really all about! I think you need to know that forex trade has been in existence from long ago and it is rather crypto trading that just got started. Everyday average of $5.3 Trillion Dollars is traded in the forex market and there is no other market that compares to it in volume, see for yourself:

[im g]https://media.dailyfx.com/illustrations/2014/01/24/FX_Market_Size_body_Picture_2.png[/img]
Comparing the volume of money being traded everyday then cryptomarket would really be just on a small dust and theres no really match when you do compare it but still both are trading but trading forex is more complex than crpyto because i have tried already to trade on forex and account been burned so easily because market is very very unpredictable no matter how you do analyze.
But I am believing in to where we are trading is not important but which trading is profitable for us is more important.

I'm not minding to consider cryptocurrency trading is a small dust or how big Forex trading is. Honestly my Forex trading experience was bitter one but I am capable of making consistent profits from cryptocurrency trading. So, definitely crypto currency trading is better one.

What is the use of Forex trading by being a vast one ? It's fluctuations are highly unpredictable hence most of the traders are not getting chances to make profits with it.
1850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Automated Trading with Bitcoin on: May 07, 2017, 08:32:26 AM
I like to use Tools like MetaTrader oder TradeStation to execute automated trading strategies and doing backtesting. I'm also open for other tools. In best case it should work with Kraken.com but other exchanges could be an option.
There are mixed responses from traders about using bots for their crypto currency trading. I did see positive review on using CAT bot but now people are suggesting to go with GUNBOT. I'm not sure the current effectiveness of CAT bot like what happened to old bots and their results and why people always suggest new things.

One thing is sure people just want to try new products and keep on switching over to new bots whenever they will be arriving at market. But, personally I am always doing good with my manual trading.
1851  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin at or below spot on: May 07, 2017, 07:45:57 AM
I'm new to Bitcoin. Other than mining, does anyone know how to buy Bitcoin at or below spot? I've tried looking into Circle, Coinbase and btc-e, however, I'm not interested in those sites.
These exchanges will not deal with the you at your customized price.

You need to look for individuals who will not be having enough options to get paid for their bitcoin in their local currency. This type of people will be ready to sell their bitcoins below the spot price. (not just for local currency, people will sell bitcoins cheaply for some specific payment types too).

Buying bitcoin below spot prices is always possible. Just check with your friends and neighbors and more importantly in this forum's currency exchange section. I believe these are the only viable options in front of us.
1852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: May 06, 2017, 08:50:42 PM
Yea true for some sites but there are sites which offer you to place a lower bets and also you can convert your money to other crypto which worth less what gives you chanca to make lower bets.
It must not be lower bet when you will be considering fiat value. Honestly I am afraid these higher prices of bitcoin might lead to more losses even for the same amount of bitcoins as some times I do forget to set lower bets based on current bitcoin prices. The buying capacity of bitcoin just got bigger hence we need to adjust our base bet accordingly to ensure we are not risking beyond our affordable limits.
1853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: May 06, 2017, 08:32:24 PM
It depends if you are gambing in poker or in dice, slots,or other games which are not skill games like poker. It is more matter in poker than dice and other games but in sites like dice, slots it depends on luck ,skills cant help you.
Nah, there are a lot of differences between skill and experience, probably you are talking about skill and I believe definitely experience will be helpful everywhere regardless of what type of gambling we are into. Remembering your previous incident and preventing some disaster by applying the knowlege you learned from that previous incident is an example which will be having possibities to happen with any types of gambling too.
1854  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: May 06, 2017, 08:07:18 PM
Bitcoin will be more popular if the price is stable. More will choose bitcoin as an investment. Because bitcoin is a digital currency that is very easy to use.

It is not going to become more popular if bitcoin has a very stable price. The main reason why bitcoin is increasing because for having the unstable price.

And if ever the price of bitcoin had a stable one, I don't think that it will become popular.

Because people will just going to stick with the usage of fiat money or by using credit cards and other banking services.

There's no point if bitcoin has stable price.
Bitcoin has gained its popularity from its instable and high price, and we can all agree on the fact that we all got into bitcoin because of its price and the dream that we can get rich someday with it, and honestly bitcoin is getting more and more users because of its price, so when the bitcoin reaches a point where the price is stable it won’t be as popular as it is right now.
1855  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: May 06, 2017, 07:00:54 PM
At this time the people who say it is impossible, but I would say this is very possible. If the user is bitcoin continues to increase, then there is no reason to make the bitcoin main priority and replace the dollar.

I would say that it's impossible. Even the price of bitcoin increases, it is decentralized and the government isn't willing to adopt this type of payment system or as a currency because they will be hard time to manipulate it. And instead of manipulating it for their people, the whales are the ones that can manipulate the government.
I can't believe that someone can say that bitcoin can be replace dollar for me its impossible since bitcoin is just use as alternative payment just like other payment method like vcc use to buy something online. bitcoin is just an internet money there is no physical coin for bitcoin ., and the price of bitcoin is not always stable so if people use it as majority possible that worldwide market will refuse.
Not a good idea to replace dollar with bitcoin..
I agree, I think that bitcoin is no longer could be considered as a threatening currency to the dollar, I think that bitcoin should no langer be considered as a currency anymore, not as people treating it right now, people don’t use their coins to buy things or go and pay for their groceries with it, they store it save it until the price goes up, so the real question is would bitcoin replace gold ?
1856  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is that possible to earn bitcoin with Youtube Channel? on: May 06, 2017, 06:26:10 PM
There is no option to monetize youtube with bitcoin directly. You can earn coin using youtube with other way/indirectly
Yes, as long as google is not adopting bitcoin payments, it would be impossible to get paid in bitcoins from google's services. Still I could not realize any possibility of making bitcoins though monetizing youtube contents. Selling links of youtube videos for bitcoin is an option here ?

Like many people suggested everywhere buying bitcoins from the payment we do get from google is the only possible way of earning bitcoins by using youtube channel, just an indirect way.
1857  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buy a wife with bitcoins on: May 06, 2017, 05:59:39 PM
but the thing is you can buy anything for bitcoin as well for fiat.
This is what the whole discussion trying to say, I understand. Availability porn contents for bitcoin payments and then dating services for bitcoins are most expected development as per the advantages of bitcoin payment systems. Where ever privacy is a big concern for users, we can expect bitcoin is going to dominate in those all fields.

Dating might be illegal in many countries, still service provider may attract users from any country through bitcoin payments. The benefits of offering such services is still ensuring the spread of bitcoin is going to have everywhere, I am very much sure.
1858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 06, 2017, 04:31:34 PM
Yes it does become a source of income but not to the extent that I will stop working. Working is still better because it is a stable source compared to bitcoins which is unpredictable not that reliable source. For me it serves as an additional way to earn money so I can spend them on something I want without touching the money I earned at my work. Unless someone is well informed and equipped with experience on bitcoins then it is possible.
It is sure a great way to earn. But you are actually right, bitcoin is a source of income in the point  we can havevan additional income together to our job. But if you are willing to take the time to invest and to start trading it is not bad. Always remember that dedication to your goals and hard work is the key for true success. You could earned at work while working on signature campaign lr even starding small time trading.
I agree, at the current state of bitcoin it could be considered as a source of income, I personally had bitcoin helped me in a lot of ways since I am a student and still don’t have a job yet, I try to earn as much as I can from bitcoin every month and by the end of that month I cash it out, and I can say that an average bitcoin user I get a lot, but I think it depends on where you live, and how much USD is compared to your local currency.
1859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: May 06, 2017, 01:47:06 PM
Every country has a law and has regulations to be followed.Maybe the one who is leading a country that banned or give punishment if people uses bitcoins dont like or see bitcoins as a threat to his country.
Maybe the leader himself is not open to changes or open to innovations because Bitcoin has changed the way transaction works and how it possibly can change how we transfer money from one place to another.

This can be true and this is quite expected. We should not expect everybody to embrace new changes especially when it comes to financial infrastructures like what Bitcoin in particular or cryptocurrency in general can be bringing on the table. Change can take some time. As they say, Rome was definitely not built in a day.

One big reason why there are those who resist and oppose Bitcoin is because this is not issued by any power and is not really backed by any tangible assets like gold or any metal for that matter. Bitcoin is representing a new paradigm which has no role model in the past. Partly, using this view, one can say that Bitcoin has its own risks embedded in itself.

In the coming years, we can witness how Bitcoin can go mainstream and be really adopted on a global scale. However, as in the study of human nature, we are not also sure if there would be an intervening event along the way that can change the trajectory of the Bitcoin growth...people can only analyze and even predict but the actual events can be beyond our own hands.
Yes true. I am looking to this issue from another perspective, if we look back to the history every new invention take some time for it to be accepted by the governments of that time because of certain interests and same is the case with the bitcoin that the government will take enough time to switch their interest.
1860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many ways are there to earn bitcoins? on: May 06, 2017, 01:11:45 PM
Recently, I've been trading bitcoins on btc-e, earning only a little, yes, very little, except the fees that btc-e takes.

Besides trading, are there any good method to earn bitcoins?   Thanks.

If you are asking only of earning bitcoin, we have bitcoin faucets, or altcoin faucets that can be convert into bitcoin.
Then the person can also participate in joining the signature campaign in the ico project.
In my opinion, there are two ways of earning bitcoin, or any other currency, one which is hard work and require skill and has a guaranteed revenue, the other one is a lazy way and doesn’t require much skill and it is based on luck so your revenue is not guaranteed, and it also requires you to spend money on it.

Fianlly this comes from the general idea that people are lazy and always looking for the easiest way to earn money, so it is a field for scam and frauds.
