2481  Economy / Gambling / Re: Horse Racing? on: August 12, 2020, 01:04:47 PM
^^ It is easy to bet, but learn me remind you that it is hard to analyze specially if the race will have like 8-12 horse to compete for the win, who will place as "second" and then you will "show" as third.

the act of betting is not hard , all you gotta do is depo and type the amount you want to bet but learning the game work can be a little bit tricky because horse racing is not our usual kind of game or the games that we often see  .

Quote
And then you can beat as the complete winners, like trifecta, quarter or pentafecta, at least that's how we call it here.
are you from mexico ? that sounds mexican  and btw is that a new system of horse betting ? never heard of that before , only the classic like choosing 1 horse for win
2482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: August 12, 2020, 10:21:31 AM
If name matters in any other thing we do in real life, it should also matter in crypto. There is something in a name. It is because of this I choose bounties and campaigns I promote. For instance you can not catch me promoting any project that is named or styled after the Devil or demon. I look beyond the name thing but the name has to be right to catch my attention first with. Otherwise I do not promote it.

oh thats creepy men . i think the reason why they come up with that name is that they are also a believer like you , i heard when you use a name like that , fortune will come to you ? but there is a drawback with all of what your going to earn . oh well i mostly heard at at stories so dont take that seriously  . any names are fine but name should be appropriate and dont hurt someone else . on the past i remember there are silly and ugly names  . if they only take it seriously they should be survive till now
2483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: August 12, 2020, 09:30:22 AM
USDT is on a major exchange and that means USDT is trusted by everyone so it can't be a scam. besides USDT is widely used by everyone to secure assets when the market is red.

Usdt is also listed on non major exchange  . It's hard if will based on exchange to say that a coin is trusted or not  . Usdt is not a pure breed of crypto and there are people that won't trust that kind of coins but for some it's not really a big deal , as long as we can see them being paired on crypto and most feedbacks are okay  , we don't doubt on them .

Many simillar coins that have same concept as usdt but as of now usdt ranked first  .
2484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter/Youtube Bitcoin Scams on: August 12, 2020, 08:49:47 AM
I think the solution to this problem is that people stop being greedy and think that just as it is difficult to get money in the real world, it is also difficult to get money on the internet.

it is not possible for someone to say:

"send X bitcoin to address Z which I will send you 10X later"

and people believe in those kinds of things and they don’t even have time to think about where the money comes from to pay 10X

It's quite impossible to just say that people should stop being greedy because they will not. The action for this to be solved relies upon us, by simply reporting any content, videos, ads or any person who is suspicious and proven scammer have a huge impact to make them stop especially in youtube, a simple channel strike could ban their account. What if they try to scam in decentralized social media platforms and messaging apps? Still, it will be up to us not to entertain them.

Since I have been here for years already, the best that I can share is for us to have a strong knowledge about the basics of bitcoin and blockchain, ethereum smartcontracts and mining. They cannot fool you around if you know how these things really work, especially by veryfing transactions of random wallet addresses they wish you to sent some amounts into.

many miss leading videos and scammers on youtube and until now thier video still exist on the platform  . whats worst that i see is that when popular youtuber  promotes an investment offer that they themselves not familiar of  .

when i come back on the video , i will only see that those who invest are complaining that they have been tricked  .  twitter is less strict and wont even ban mature content, im afraid they will misslook scam attempts on thier platform  .
2485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: August 12, 2020, 07:37:20 AM
The market for chess is growing rapidly, maybe because of the corona lockdown and people have more spare time. The grandmaster playing chess on twich gained a lot of viewers. I think a lot of the viewers who enjoy watching chess would also like to play themselfs. BlitzChess is a good way to get into chess, it's Elo based and the games only take a few minutes. Betting on these games would be awesome. There is a huge market with a lot of potential.
Yes, pandemic could be the reason for the rise of chess tournaments and live streaming. However, there are instances that promotion do over a period of time. Promotion is like a domino effect where it takes time to get known and it is not an like an instant.

Anyway, whats best is that chess grow day by day and this will likely get into another level where betting could be rampant and good players will show from around the world just like the NBA and Football league.

It's fun to watch the grandmasters tournaments now. They must all have webcams on them, I thought at least 3 so they are sure they can't cheat.

And now we can all see them during the games. They also broadcasting some commentators so it's fun to watch it.

webcam is requirement to stream but if you mean cam to monitor players , that wont be needed if its a tourna because there will be spectators and judges sorround the player and there were also online viewers  , cheating of whatever form can be caught out easily  .

theres still  a growth in the chess games but it would be nice if chess betting sites also grow so that chess fans will be satisfied and wouldnt ask for more .
2486  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do exchanges get away with faking trade volume? on: August 12, 2020, 04:55:25 AM
If you look at the number of exchanges currently in circulation it has proven that opening exchanges is very easy.
But it's not easy to draw interest of many users, there should be a good promotion to make more users join the new
exchanges. One way to attract interest users by making faking trade volume. Because some users especially newbies
choose exchanges based on trading volume, even though they are nowadays easily manipulate trading volume with bots.
So avoid choosing exchanges based on volume trading.

volume is essential when trade and if not volume , what would be the next thing to look for ? with the huge number of scams thats a way to tell that they can attract people easily  .

so many exchanges that are fake are already got busted , mostly with the issue of fake volume .  they didnt get away with it .   if only people will only buy and sell coins on the trusted exchange no one will get scam , thats also thier fault .
2487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most of The DEFI coins are 50% up in last 7days!! on: August 11, 2020, 10:12:36 PM
you got it . btc boosted them but aside from btc defi had been on the news before and everyone is talking with it   .

defi itself did also contribute but but now that btc is decreasing  , defi and other cryptos are also following . this is a bad timing or unfair for those that will only going to recieve thier coins  because they also waited for that great moment to happen .
2488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Stable coin is the Best for Investment This Year on: August 11, 2020, 09:23:38 PM
I still can't believe that these titan coin shills are allowed on this website. I understand that bitcointalk admin team do not get involved with people and just allow people to do whatever they want unless they break any of their rules and if they do not break the rules they could spam advertisement as much as they want without any trouble at all, but that shouldn't really mean that titan coin people could come here and write about their coin constantly without a stop and get away with it, there should be some sort of spam folder here as well just like your email has spam folder as well.

When you see people who are doing spamming like this, admins should be sending them to spam section for spamming, that way our forum could be a lot more clean and would be more readable and enjoyable.

anything is allowed here but spamming is against the rules . they will hammer the user that spams dont worry and also if this found out as scam they will also take action like leaving a negative trust to the account to serve as warning for others  .

i havent seen that titan coin spam  . when did the spam started ? ill suppose to see it because ive been posting actively on different boards .
2489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dead by 2106 on: August 11, 2020, 08:41:07 PM
You mean, bitcoin will be no more after 86 years from now. Two things, I want to convey here. First, we don't know whether most of us will be alive till that year  Grin
Secondly, every year, we will get a update of everything. For example mobile phone. We had received many updates every year in the mobile phone. So same we can expect on Bitcoin. Who know, bitcoin will be the Fiat of world.

and the updates can fix the previous known issue or it can make the issue more worst but lets hope it wont . 86 years from now we are going to be hapy if we reached that milestone  but all of us are gonna be old  by that year and wont know how to operate a btc  .

its okay if the bad prediction was true , for us but what about the younger generations ? we already have plans for them that we will inherit them our left btc's soon .
2490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BetKing sponsors kenya football , is it a publicity stunt ? on: August 11, 2020, 06:23:27 PM
Betking.com has nothing to do with serial scammer Dean Nolan and his scam betking.io website.

i believe that as well. i think from the previous pages, it has been said that betking.com is not related with betking.io.

i visit the link shared on the first post and they dont clarify if its betking.io or betking.com  but op qouted betking.io  .  but thanks for clarifying the two site guys , i didnt know that both have simillar domain names but only have different extentions .  i already visited both of them just now and i found out that betking.com is not a crypto based while the other betking.io is now a refferal site and they said they are partner with the casinos that they refer , thats questionable to me
2491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Profitable days of holding bitcoin percentage (98.5%) on: August 11, 2020, 03:16:20 PM
-snip-
Holding can be made easy if you just forget you own any bitcoin in the first place, avoid constantly price checking, avoid fud, prices from discussion etc. Some people get their investment advice from community like twitter, reddit which can be easily corrupt with fake news, those too should be avoided and you'll be just fine.
What makes holding easier from the start is the investment money that is used and then as you mean by avoiding constant price checks until forgetting if you have the assets invested. However, proper entry is also very necessary so as not to buy at high prices.

Some investment advice really should filter out. Choose the one that has been recommended.

I agree on the investment money part .  You will be confident to leave your coins for a long time if your using a money that is not important  .

constant  Price checking is basic and all know that it's not good to do when your going to commit an investment . Reality check ,only few people can do this now , now that we are on a more tougher situation where we need money to live  . we can't help but sell at a random point
2492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which website do you usually go to get your news and casino reviews? on: August 11, 2020, 01:47:41 PM
Well I am having only one site for online casino to which I am also preferred to play gambling activities. For me there is no better than the online gambling casino that I had been playing but I am still open for other online gambling casino if found out that it could their platform were also good. For now, I only gamble in an establish good online gambling casino platform so as to avoid those good for nothing online casino platform that has so bad reputations that could be seen in the reputation section. You can check there for so many gambling platform that has bad reputation especially in handling complains to the users.

oh interesting , but may i know if what casino is that ? you dont need to be shy and hide the name of the casino that you like but its okay to hide the names of the casino that you dislike .

the topic is also for casino news and reviews and not directly for the casinos that users have been using  . i noticed that few gambling sites have thier community or forum  . if we play on the casino with forum , we can also read latest news , reviews, etc .. directly on them
2493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interview with Stake.com CEO Reveals Plans for Tether Betting + New Games. on: August 11, 2020, 12:30:45 PM
It could be useful when the same site also have this feature where you can exchange the coins you own to other coins you want. I have tried exchanging to other coins on a dice site when I really don't like the fee deducted to your balance when you withdraw so I exchange my btc to eth then withdraw with less fee and saves me a lot.

Certainly, it is a very important factor that it provides all the possibilities of the service it provides to its users instead of just providing this service. In particular, if I think that the website that provides this service is reliable in the industry, I think that many users will use this service and that the website can earn extra income with appropriate commissions. In this way, both the users will not provide convenience and the website will generate extra income. Moreover, just because of this ease, many gamblers will prefer to use this website.
I'm not sure about that. Because the BTC and the Ethereum blockchains are currently very congested and expensive in fees. So if Stake uses the original Tether on Omni or the clone on Ethereum it won't be usable for many people. Only the Tron and EOS versions would be interesting for most of users IMO.

i didnt know that tether has many versions , thanks for the info  . i thought there is only one tether . im not familiar with omni but clone is something that i dont like , ill stick on tron and eos . to @bitcointurk . they already have that feature , you can exchange your coins to other coins by paying some fees but the fee can be reduced when you use codes  ,  more info can be provided on thier site .  eth now is expensive in price and many are complaining for high withdrawal fees so i dont recomend eth or btc atm
2494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need bitcoin? on: August 11, 2020, 10:57:02 AM
Bitcoin is a store of value and the main indicator of the industry, we cant live without it

I don't get the idea that we cannot live without bitcoin. Will you die if there is no bitcoin?
Life does not depends on bitcoin bro.  Grin

dont take hin seriously , he is just joking . its true that bitcoin is a store of value but not the main indicator of the industry  . there are other more important things out there  that serves as an indicator of the industry  .

laslty you can still be able to live without it because there are replacements to btc and before btc they are already there . money is im talking to and i can say that we can die without money because we cant buy our foods and meds .
2495  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: August 11, 2020, 04:22:23 AM

3. Faucet can only be claimed if you balance is 0 (which means you cannot 'save' it before you can withdraw)

Well after a certain time, which depends on your account level, you can send your winnings made of faucet as a tip to an alt account.
Or you push it up to minimum amount for withdrawal.
thats not against their rules ? because i think thats a form of abuse  . they only restrict the faucet but user still find a way to bypass it  . what if the user have many alts but they can decrease the faucet amount and they can make leveling up a little difficult  .  why will someone stack sats on a gambling site faucet when there are many legal faucet sites out there

other sites have a bonus but only their rakeback is small and also laggy ( slow betting )  . they have races and good support but no faucet  . thats the difference or the advantage of yolo to them .
2496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 10, 2020, 11:46:18 PM
Is it about knowing how to bet or what you're betting on, what do you think?

In whatever form of gambling, it's always a good advantage that we have an awareness or knowledge about the game and not just following good picks and advice from others. It's like relying more on others if we just do some random bet and we are just increasing the risks of losing.

A good bettor don't make random bets, especially at sports-betting. That's a big risk for me and simply throwing away some money. They don't want to just rely on luck as there are lots of ways to increase our winning chances thru our own way of analyzation.

sports betting is already easy and why we need to bet blindly ? its okay to bet randomly on other games because its hard to put analysis on them .

good thing there are pre created analysis by other people that we can use if we totally have no idea on the game that we are interested with . you said they are good picks and good advice only so why hesitate to follow them ? that will still make us a good bettor  .
2497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Those initial exchange offering (IEO) reduce opportunities for bounty hunters? on: August 10, 2020, 02:40:53 PM
not reduced but only adds another oppurtunity  . we have another choice now aside from ico and if we are not getting good results on ico we can switch to ieo same as when we arent happy with ieo we can go back on ico  .  again just like ico , ieo can fail too and they can cheat investors or hunters  .  its impossible to have a perfect model where there will be no failures but atleast the failures in an ieo are now reduced than compare to ico to the fact that you can choose an exchange  .
2498  Economy / Economics / Re: Since jobs are unlikely to return, Do u think there will be a 3rd $1200 stimulus on: August 10, 2020, 01:53:06 PM
I am not a big believer of these stimulus measures. From what I have seen, most of the times the stimulus money ends up with the rich corporations and the ordinary workers hardly ever get any benefit out of it.

not familliar with this but it goes like they are being distributed first on the companies then companies will hand out the money to the workers ? if thats how it goes we cant still judge them because there are honest people out there that will hand out the money in a fair way  . they know that people also need the money badly during these times  .

Quote
A perfect example is the case of the 2008-09 recession, when most of the stimulus money ended up with the bankers and the Wall Street giants.
ah , this isnt the first time they give stimulus ?  rich people will onlly get richer but poor people are only going to get poorer if what your saying is true
2499  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Win any BlackJack Hand | Strategy Calculator on: August 10, 2020, 01:22:02 PM
Usually when some promotes their third party software here, i always ask for a virustotal scan and proof if its really working, it might burn out my whole stash, if i use it.
Cause it's really intriguing in my part that someone is willing to freely hand over his tool, that for me is really shady, and especially when the user is a new member.

i visit the link and i havent found any software but its on the site where you calculate , thats more safer than those software's  . calculator only means that you calculate you chance of winning and its different from what we are expecting  . only the way they promote is exaggerated and it will make all of us questioned it  .  i dont know how to play blackjack properly and this tool might help me but for pro's , they wont be needing this anymore because they can win on thier own skill
2500  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might never reach it's ATH anymore on: August 10, 2020, 09:54:06 AM
Basically, the possibility of Bitcoin getting ATH is very big. We know that the halving years made Bitcoin mining even more difficult. And we know that mining costs are not small. I am sure that going forward, with Bitcoin being difficult to mine, it will make changes to the interest and price of BTC.
But, don't easily believe this theory. Because everyone has a different view.  Cool

thats also a turn off to some people if they found out that difficulty increases to btc and they will stop supporting btc   but that was only on the mining side.  there are still many ways to get btc easily so the potential for the btc to reach its all time high is still there .

listen mate the difficulty problems you explained above caused by halving is not a theory but its a fact and its also true that experts and lost of users believe that price will skyrocket after the halving  .
