1821  Economy / Gambling / Re: Be Aware Phishing Roobet.com on: November 17, 2020, 05:37:34 AM
thats hard to notice especially the second one that you have posted because the spelling looks exactly the same as the original except to that e with a small slant line above it

phishing sites arent new and happened to other gambling sites before but they are also spotted , thanks to those concerned gamblers . more of this are going to experience now that online gambling is growing and roobet casino is also the new rising star , its normal that many will imitate roobet . this is why i always bookmarked my visited sites because i cant afford to get phished
1822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs more women. on: November 16, 2020, 09:17:21 PM
I'm a happy woman who is grateful that I know Bitcoin. I agree that there are lots of men than women who love exploring cryptocurrency because women honestly have different interests. However, crypto should be shared in any gender equally. We all deserve to have enough knowledge about it.
if not because of this thread I wouldn't know that there's many women on this forum and are involved in cryptocurrency . I thought all of the people here are guys hehe . cryptos cant be shared if your talking about the coins because it's not easy to earn a crypto that are valuable but you can share the knowledge that you learn to other people if you have free time . many guys working here are Verry busy , that is why we can hardly talk about crypto to others but if others are curious about it they don't need to wait for others but they can learn it thier selves
1823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 16, 2020, 05:01:05 PM
It is really a true and sad story. Gamblers usually lose more money than they win. It also depends on how much money you put on betting I think. Because people who bet with huge amount of money obviously tend to lose more money. So, it is more difficult to recover compared to people who bet with little money.
most of the population on gambling are like that , they loose money more than they won and its the same as big or small gambler . only few who got lucky that can win more than on what they loose .

they can afford to bet more money and they can afford to play with that amount again and again  . if they win it wont be that hard to recover what they loose . the other is playing small . when they loose it can be hard for them to recover a small loose because of the size of thier bets
1824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 4% return - compounded DAILY on: November 16, 2020, 04:17:25 PM
any website offering such return it could be just a scam Cheesy and must not taken seriously, nor deserve any discussion. however as already reported this is a yearly return (payed daily). yes this site is well known and trusted, they are online /paying /mining since few years.
lol . you got me there bro .  i thought you didnt read the next replies and the op also almost got me if i didnt scrolled down but i was thinking twice at first if the 4 percent is big enough or not and he didnt also put if what day or time the 4 percent is going to be paid .

i know freebit was a legit site and it got me thinking instantly so i look for other replies and that was it , it wasnt daily or weekly etc but it was per year  . 4 percent are gonna be looking small to that but still it was a passive income .

1826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL ₿itcoin for Life, not for Lifetime. on: November 16, 2020, 09:31:06 AM
business outside crypto is important for all of us not only for you because we never know what will happen in the price of crypto but we can worry less when we know that we still have another business and we are secured . why need to stay hodl when you badly need that business your planning and whats worst with you is that you end up selling your btc for shitcoins . it wouldnt be that bad if you continue hodling alone because you still have a chance to regain what you lost and that was this time because btc is now heading back again at 18k usd .
1827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Reinforced by the pandemic on: November 16, 2020, 08:45:31 AM
stocks are not in a good shape during the covid but i dont have an update on gold . gold still be in a stable condition . btc on the other hand are doing great in the middle of the pandemic , as you see all three assets are in different conditions . btc havent been in a dumped mode yet so expect things to to become negative soon but that phase can be easy on btc and it can always survived it . the pumped in the price of btc gives a confident to the investor and they be putting more money in it .
1828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hidden team members or not make any difference? on: November 16, 2020, 07:47:08 AM
It makes sense that majority if the project successful now has an anon team, that is the point of crypto currency right?
what about those who are only succesful in scamming that is true that the point of crypto is for anonymous transaction but that anonimity feature was only created for the users of the coins and not for the creators .

its not bad for the creators to expose thier selves because they can get recognitions after that or when the time that their piece became mainstream but hidden teams or not , the success depends on the willingness and not for thier appearances .
1829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Live betting question. on: November 16, 2020, 07:10:15 AM
thats how gambling works . gambling always have an advantage over you . its risky to keep going but you still have a chance to win because its still not guaranteed that the opposing team can win right after they score a little points but your chosen teams can still catch up . if 99 percent is a chance that they wont accept your bet , that means you still have a 1 percent chance that they will accept and you shouldlnt have to complain at all if your fine with when opposing teams scores but they will accept your bet .
1830  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading hours on: November 16, 2020, 06:23:23 AM
its not a typical market that have a close and open hours because it was online . they can make a tool to keep the store active 24/7 while the owner is still sleeping but is the u.s stock market really have a close and open hours ?

i didnt expect that because i feel that it was the same as other online markets .

people may treat crypto as a stock so as their working times and there is no special about the busy activity on weekends because these are the days where working people are free .
1831  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Avoid Bittrex! on: November 14, 2020, 09:47:29 AM
bittrex was once a popular exchange but its performance were overtaken by those new exchangers  .

i havent heard any updates to them if the exchange is still stable or they have became bad but it was also your fault on why you leave your valueable items on an exchange for a long time  .

anything can happen like hacks or the exchange can be shutdown , etc .  just do what they want , submit a kyc and see if what are their response . they ask that maybe because of your long time inactivity
1832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Risks Of Bitcoin Going To Zero Has Gotten More Lower Than Ever on: November 14, 2020, 08:52:57 AM
Bitcoin will never go to zero but it really can go to ±5k level. This may kill the industry too

5k level and kill the industry ? lol . didnt you read most of the replies in btc speculation threads ? most of the guys that are into btc are wishing that btc can go on to that point so that they can be able to buy again but with bigger volumes at this time because that low level are now rare to witness .

people dont need to wait for more lows or they can miss the boat because some are actively waiting for any dips , thats why the chance of btc turning to zero is also zero percent  .

I heard that paypal sometimes is used by scammers, and it is needed to wait several days for confirmation of a trasfer. So, I am ok with that, you can wait an appropriate time after each payment and only then send me my bitcoins.
its true that scammers can use paypal but its not true that paypal transfers take several day except if they detect an issue with your transaction . waiting for days is not okay but this hassel can be remove if you only use a crypto

your clients only have a paypal but worry no more because paypal started to support crypto . your clients can convert thier paypal money to crypto without the need of setting up a traditional btc wallet or buying a btc to someone else . you dont need to setup a paypal too but use your crypto wallets instead .  your also safe from chargebacks if someone will scammed you . just ask payment first before work
1834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recent situation of Cryptocurrency... on: November 14, 2020, 04:16:57 AM
We are having pump because Bitcoin is getting pump too. Those altcoins who got pump is just lucky to have a decent whale in their project. I don't know if those pumps last but I'm sure that those pumps are just temporary and will get dump again once new investors gets in.

when new investors gets in that will not cause a dump but it will pump the market more not unless if old investors sold . bitcoin was pumping and some major altcoins are affected because they also show a nice increase but the rest of the minor alts and tokens only show a verry tiny increase if they are lucky while those that arent are dumping .

if a coin is controlled by a whale it dont need to wait for btc pumps because a whale can pump it anytime of the day but major alts dont need a whale , they just pump naturally  .
1835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal finally allowed BTC on: November 14, 2020, 03:26:50 AM
it is good progress, but I do not like transactions using paypal for several reasons:
1. high transaction fees.  As many exchange sites charge high fees on PayPal transactions.
2. If the platform does not accept IDR, currency conversion fees apply.  PayPal fees are 3.5% above exchange rate.  For all other currencies, the fee is 4% above the exchange rate.
thanks for that comparison of paypsl fees vs to exchanges fee . for the people that are familiar on how crypto exchanges work and thier corresponding fee , fees are going to be thier main drawback for using a paypal for crypto but for the rest users , fees arent going to be thier main concern . paypal was a giant company so expect that fees are also going to be not really friendly but thats the sacrifice for making these things possible . if only theres more shops that will accept crypto payments we dont need to use paypal to shop anymore .
1836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Regrets? Past BTC Sale(s that would look CRAZY Today! Poll. :( on: November 14, 2020, 02:16:27 AM
cool story brad . atleast that wasnt painful enough because you do it for a purpose and it was an important thing to you to fix your a miner because you can earn another coin again and you lost only over 1 btc which is cost lesser that time but other people spend thier btc in more less valueable things and they pay over 10 btc for that . my only regrets is that knowing btc late but i dont have regrets when it comes to hodling and selling because i joined on the right time when btc is on its highest and i also sell mine at a decent price .
1837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin get an insurance? on: November 13, 2020, 06:15:20 PM
not sometimes but bitcoin is expose to attacks at all times . this can damage the reputation of btc but btc itself cant be damaged or tear down like a car . if we are a victim of atacks we can loose our coin and we can also loose our coin not because of attacks but because of the volatility of bitcoin or when its price go down so having an insurance is still a good idea but that can only be possible if you invest btc on a centralized institution and they control your funds . did they came up with that idea already ?
1838  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Holding in Companies on: November 13, 2020, 03:00:58 PM
Companies do not get involved in crypto like a regular person, they get involved because they want to go long on bitcoin because they go into anything with long term ambitions and they want to stay in it for the long term if it is gold, stocks, cash or bitcoin. It means we are talking about over a billion dollars worth of bitcoin was bought this year for long term holding and that of course happened to help the price of bitcoin as well.

That is how the world works and that is how profits are made, when they are in billions (or let's just say hundreds of millions) they do not have the urgency or scare that we have when there is small movements and dips, which they just go in even further when that happens to lower their DCA and make even more profit in the long term.
companies are known to work like this . It's already thier habit to invest into something and hold it professionaly . Some companies gets bankrupt also because of this while some gets successful and grow bigger because of thier booming investment aside from the profit that they earn on thier company .

Companies that owns Bitcoin might be less but they own huge amounts of btc and thier hodling do also grow overtime , them alone can really make a big difference without the help of other companies .
1839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise of Bitcoin on: November 13, 2020, 02:06:35 PM
.. .

We recently received several information signals:

1) Iran plans to use bitcoins to circumvent sanctions

2) Okex cryptocurrency exchange's bitcoins have been confiscated by the Chinese government

3) Russians will have to declare all their bitcoins by April 30, 2022.

I made the following conclusion.

States view Bitcoin as a strategic resource amid the crisis in the global financial system.  This is why the price of Bitcoin is going up.  Large investment companies also want to become bitcoin holders.

In the next decade, to have power, you need to own bitcoin.
Those infos you have gathered are new . Your the first to list them here in this forum . The numbers 1 and 3 are both a positive news because they shows that these country use btc but the number 2 is a bad news because of that word confiscated . Why they do that when okex was a legal crypto exchange or did the exchange did something for thier coins to be confiscated ? Your conclusion shouldn't be fully positive because of that okex issue  but That was only confiscated and there is still a chance that they can return it if issues were sorted out .
1840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum (ETH) or Bitcoin Cash (BCH) which has the brighter future? on: November 13, 2020, 08:42:02 AM
I would prefer ETH than BCH, looking at its history, we can tell that ETH performs better than BCH.  Even though BCH ATH is at 0.74 BTC, you can see the decline of its market which is worst than ETH.  Besides, those BCH ATH were mostly in the initial stage of the coin and keep on declining.
eth created earlier than bch but this wasnt the reason why it was better just because it shows so many ups , downs and adjustments but because eth was a mother coin . bch wins on the price because its price are thrice higher than eth but when it comes to technicality , it wont stand a chance to eth .

price is not all for some of us but some of us value the overall build of the coin . if a coin has a high price its expected that it can fall harder , same goes to small price coin it can also fall smaller .
