1801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: November 19, 2020, 03:50:56 PM
It would be a bad news for us if the president suddenly talk about cryptos and make illegal in our country. We can not make money with cryptocurrency if this happens maybe we use other e-wallet platform like paypal.
but you forgot that paypal now has a crypto . everything that has a crypto on them including paypal can be included in the ban  . this is tragic for us that only depend on crypto for a living and there can be no more alternatives that will be better than crypto when it comes to making money online . others are just suck , i know because ive tried lots of them on the past before i ended up on here in crypto . we are lucky for now if we have a kind president that handles our country but time can come that president will be replace by another  . im afraid for that to happen
1802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: November 19, 2020, 03:14:46 PM
First of all, you need to have experience to distinguish a good exchange from a bad exchange. But only one experience is also not enough, you also need to compare the exchanges, as well as analyze the reviews to understand whether it is possible to trade on one or another exchange. One of these tools can be found here. This tool is convenient because it allows you to compare the exchanges you are interested in and choose the most suitable one.

Experience is needed everywhere. However, the good one can be found even without any exchange experience. Pay attention at the history of the service. You can find reviews about almost any site on the net and on independent forums. If there is no feedback, there is no exchanger.
i used an exchange once but not much often but despite of my small experience i was thankful that there is this forum and its lovely users that can differentiate an exchange for me or to other people that dont trade actively .

the tool given above by Mart1ncrypto is also helpful aside from this forum .
exchange being user friendly has a big appeal to me and i dont really care much on other features because im not that pro but what important is that i can my coin with less stress on how to figure things like this and that
1803  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying and selling on this forum on: November 19, 2020, 02:32:14 PM
Hello fellows,
If I decide to buy or sell some goods on this forum, what's the safest process since I guess it's p2p transactions? thanks

P2P transaction would be the safest but we know its only limited via localle but if you do tend to go international then having escrow would be suggested if you are buying into someone.
Its a hassle process yet trust would be the main issue in most cases because due to anonymity feature of crypto then someone can easily scam out without delivering the item or
simply a fraud.
p2p transction is not safe because there is no middle man involved on this unlike to non p2p like a centralized exchange , binance for example where they manage the funds that goes out and goes in on thier platform .
p2p isnt limited because you can do p2p online and they are less restricted compare to non p2p platforms .
it can be less hasle than a non p2p if you both trust each other but it can be hassel when not because you will feel the need of an escrow .
1804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen for Amazon to accept Bitcoin? on: November 19, 2020, 01:51:30 PM
I don't think Amazon will accept bitcoins as payment on their e-commerce...
jeff Bezos is not that interested in Bitcoin, maybe they are not currently planning to accept Bitcoin as payment because the regulations in the US on Bitcoin are still unclear.
how do you know that he isn't interested, I'd believe on you more if you can show me an article that Jeff states his opinion on btc but people can change .
I know a top personality that don't accept btc at first but later they shocked the public and we find out that btc is now a part of thier business .
Maybe the reason on why they didn't accept btc is because of regulation , there's no need to rush because if they push it that can be the reason for thier business to go bad
1805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 19, 2020, 12:51:38 PM
That's a very huge amount of money. I'm sure that that person has been doing gambling for such a long time that he's able to bet a very huge amount of money. There will surely be regrets if he lost but I guess he will still be able to handle it well. It will only take a few days for him to know the result. He'll be lucky if Trump would get a chance to win his candidacy again.
Trump has lost the election and this gambler has lost a huge amount of money. But I think he has a lot of money. Otherwise, he would not have bet on such a large amount

The election result was been out already a few days ago and Yes he do lost a 5million bets on this election but i bet that this man has a lot of money thats why he didn't doubt to put such a huge bet. I am wondering now what does a millionaire feels whenever they get failed on betting sports like this? Did they feel the same way as how we feel whenever we get lost our bets even if our bets was just a small amount.
what about those rumors that questions the win of biden and it was supported by few of the respected bookies because they did not gave the winning of the election bettors  . was that already been resolved ? he could still have a chance to resurect his million dollar and take home a profit .
if a millionaire lost this huge , they dont despair too much like we did as a small gamblers because they have sources to replenish the wealth that have depleted .
1806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto Scammer on the run on: November 18, 2020, 10:07:54 PM
Any business that promise to trade for you or pay you a certain percentage daily or monthly should not be trusted. They are only after your money.

certain percentage is small so its not linked to scam but if you say they promise this high percentage for this date , that can be suspicious anymore .

also not all business that offer trades for you are scam because theres actually a kind of business or a service like that  but a strict background check is a must on that kind of service because that is one of the most used tactics by scammers  .

You shouldn't blame me from running away from any crypto project that has a nigerian as one of its members, I don't hate this country but it's majority of its people are something else, not all nigeriana are bad though
though you apoligize but this still sounds not right on me , im not from this country and i heard that there are scammers from this country but i never say those things to them because this country wasnt alone but scammers are from all around the world
1807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: November 18, 2020, 09:35:30 PM
Very  few  lucky gamblers who abled to get and win after accepting the offer.  Back  to the main  topic, sure bets are not possible  it won't  be called gambling  if it does exist.  Even you place your chances 99.99% win that remaining  .01 % can still bring shit to  your picked.

I agree that small percentage matters, sometimes when you least expect that's the time that small percentage will come. Imagine betting maxed out at 98% win and still lose. Happened to me a couple of times.

It's the same as betting in a luck based games, that's why i stay away with that high chances but low payout betting odds, it's just a waste of money and we just thought it's easy which is no challenge to us, if we really wanna test our skills, we should go with odds 1.90 above.

skill or sports and casino or luck based games are the same and thier max highest percent chance can be at 98 or 99 percent but it cant be on 100 percent because theres no way you can loose if that win chance exist .

theres no easy in gambling and dont under estimate the small odds that you see because those can be a trap to pocket your penny , playing gambling in any odds is already challenging  if your goal is to rake up a good profit because winning is difficult
1808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof - The long Hodl on: November 18, 2020, 08:11:13 PM
Quote
These times are proof that when you buy high, not panic and HODL for the future is rewarding

let say that if you buy as high as the 2017 bull run and you hodl it till now because you miss the train because your expecting for more , the price is now is equal or lower than the price last 3 years ago .

there is no real rewards that are dealt but you only waited for 3 years to recover your losses , that was not bad at all atleast you show that you have strong patience and you didnt loose yet but this time was different that last time and everyone is expecting that btc can be better than before . holding for extra long time can be beneficial now
1809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin always remain an investment vehicle? on: November 18, 2020, 07:05:50 PM
it is but its also hard to resist the continous growth of btc , this is why people transform thier btc's into an investment vehicle . people already use thier btc for dining in but that use cant be every day because btc price moves upwards or downwards and this holds people for a while . i think if btc is only stable just like a fiat money , no one will hold people for using thier btc's .

they will treat it like a money and use on a daily basis but it was only sad that they cant use thier btc anymore as an investment . that is the fun part of btc and it will be missed badly
1810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: November 18, 2020, 06:10:10 PM
I really can't imagine there is match fixing at this level. Those players who all earn a fortune in the NBA. then why would they participate in such a thing? keeping in mind that if anyone finds out, they could be suspended for life or at least end their career.
They are not really the one participating, it's the referees who are rigging the games, players don't know about it because they are just playing while referees are doing the calling, that's why sometimes there are bad calls and one bad all already have significant effect to the game.

If you do some backreading, you'll be able to see videos shared of refs calling and not calling foul that should be called.

They are in charge of the game, they say when the refs is with a certain team, most of the time that team will win, even how bad they are as a team.

Yes, its actually some of the referees that are messing up the tempo of the game. They would create this bad calls that are not even worth calling just to lower the morale of the team. Players would not even attempt to rig a game since it would be bad for their name and reputation however some referees are just bad and wanted more money from this kinds of establishments.
Never knew that referee can be involved on this unethical act but i don't also believe that the players rig the game their self if without the instruction of their so called master Mind . players won't be afraid because of that because they are protected but they can be more afraid if they won't do it . they are already rich and why will they be afraid when they get kicked out but they can get more richier if they keep on doing this but this was only a conspiracy . Nba is too big and formal to be rigged but local sports can possibly be
1811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: November 18, 2020, 05:24:54 PM
Most people don’t really care about terms and services, they might only read the terms when they encounter serious problems with their money stuck in online casinos. It will be very rare to read specially that users only care about their experience and winnings.
they thought that they are experienced gamblers and they think all sites are the same but that thoughts can be false most of the time .

They only care about wins by they don't know that those wins can be useless if the money are going to be confiscated because of a small minor mistake ,that won't supposed to happen if they only take time to read the tos right at the start .

The sickness of the people is to regret at the end but that cant be too late if the site that they are playing is a good person because they can give them another chance .
1812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a world power? on: November 18, 2020, 04:47:49 PM
what is a world power and why it can increase creativity . i dont know if your sentence is too deep or your using words that are out of this world but hey i think i get what your trying to say . you mean that if you hold the most bitcoin that shows that you are powerful because you think bitcoin symbolizes power, is that right ? bitcoin isnt leading the world but it is leading the world of cryptocurrency  .

every country wants power but btc isnt enough because btc doesnt dominate everything. that is why i dont think other countries will unban btc just to join this movement .
1813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 18, 2020, 03:32:48 PM
You will be disappointed, if you want to make money out of gambling if you see this fact, but if you want to be entertained and you just see gambling as something that as a way to unwind, you will be ok with this fact.
Let us be realistic if we want to make money then we go look for a job, do free lancing but make money in gambling don't fool yourself it will not work all the time.

its okay to find a job , make money and use that money to gamble than to see gambling as a job to earn money because that simply wont work easily . few sites allows you to gamble with zero bets and others offer free bets but you cant go anywhere with them although you can surely get entertained . not all but a part of the population dont want to work thier ass off but they want to earn money , first thing that came to thier mind is to do gamble because this fits thier criteria perfectly but hard earned money is still the best and more rewarding
1814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the secret to success in trading? on: November 18, 2020, 02:10:10 PM
Trading is skill based, right? So the secret is to develop all possible skills that have a positive effect on trading.
To develop these skills you need perseverance and patience, which means that this is the secret. Move towards your goal step by step and you will certainly achieve the result.
it can be luck too or vice versa depending on the person that are doing a trade because there are those traders that randomly pick up a coin and hoping for the best of it but there are also those traders that are going for coins that are already recomended in trading .

if skills was the basis to succeed in trading , it was easy because we can craft it but if its luck , that would be too hard  .

there is no secret in trading because the recipe to achieve success in trading was too common but its the effort that you are gonna put in it
1815  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $318K by December 2021 on: November 17, 2020, 11:49:11 AM
yeah thats true because even myself i also believe that btc can do more but not too much maybe it will only reach 18k to 20k usd you know that range but i never tried to speculate more than a hundred thousand dollar even if btc is given a time to grow till next year because i think that wont be possible but it was good to know that popular bank names such as citibank are now joining the guessing game on btc . people can gain an inspiration from that speech and they can strenghten more thier trust on btc
1816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 17, 2020, 10:52:34 AM
It's not just a matter of gambling space, rather cryptocurrencies are being used very extensively in all sorts of illegal wrongdoings. Be it gambling illegally or trading drugs or even illegal weapons - darkweb has it all where the main payment method is cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Monero. Illegal miscreants are fully exploiting the anonymity feature of cryptos, it seems! This matter of China gambling gang is just the tip of the iceberg.

maybe that gang is the most notorious on thier country but this is nothing compare to the other  . others arent gang but only compose of one and two individuals but the damage that they have dealt are more than the trillion yuan that the gang on china have stolen but the point here is that they still commited an act that are against thier countrys law and they should pay for it . crypto is not guilty to this because anyone can use thier crypto in anything that they like but if its use in riskier stuffs they just wana make sure that they dont wana get caught .
1817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The last time we saw 16K on Bitcoin price on: November 17, 2020, 10:02:10 AM
As you may know, Bitcoin could recover a huge part of price fall after 2017, but many other big shitcoins still couldn't recover. That's reason why we love it.
Actually I don't believe in the word "We Love It" because we are only buying coins make money and not to truly support those coins.
But on the other hand it is better that we have this treatment so we won't be engaged too close to each coins we are buying instead
we are always ready to release in any point.
thats it . you love to make money , you love when the price of the coins increase but you dont literality love the coin by heart . thats was yours decision but we also have ours . i believe the op was talking to btc . he loves the fact that btc can recover after any dump .

btc isnt just any other ordinary coin but btc was loved . its okay if we wont treat the same to other coins but loving btc as a whole is a must thing to do as a cryptocoiner - bitcoiner .
1818  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: November 17, 2020, 07:42:46 AM
That's something refreshing and new I see in the crypto gambling market in 2020. People are indeed bored using crash and slots which have been dominating the crypto gambling sector since inception. Sports gambling is slowly gaining market share but these games are not newbie friendly at all. The market was indeed missing such wide variety of gambling markets like Politics, Entertainment, Business & Finance etc. under a single platform. The best part is that, people can test this platform using play money before putting in real money into the prediction market. Good initiative! I hope this platforms gets the attention it deserves.
slots is the pioneer of them all because it already existed offline and then next could be dice followed by crash but all of this games and others too wont be boring depending on the person playing it , gambling has never been boring to me because i know that i can earn money thru it but it was always nice to see new additions on this field and i might add this to my library too . predicting bets are already available before on sportsbetting sites but this one here that they offer is more on non general or non mainstream , this can be interesting to people that have a different taste
1819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal Reaches 85% of Binance.US Volume on: November 17, 2020, 07:03:47 AM
But I'm not amazed with such a result. There are not so much traders on binance.us. Binance also warned, that they will close binance.us soon and users have 30 days (if I'm not mistaken) to withdraw their funds. And compared how announcement of possibility to buy, sell and trade Bitcoin on Paypal made a resonance on the market and looking how popular it is in US, no wonder volumes are high atm.
ah so its different from binance because i thought the op was talking to binance but why are there less users on that version when u.s is a big country and binance can be a few popular exchange that made trading of crypto possible in a banned country such as u.s . the main binance is larger as its supports many countries and you cant expect more for paypal because it was only thier first month . watch till they released the support of crypto for all the countries and when thier service runs longer , lets come back and compare them again .
1820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fastest blockchain? on: November 17, 2020, 06:05:02 AM
There are too many fast blockchain projects in crypto space today, they are too many and most haven't make it to top 100 yet, the fact is we don't need faster blockchain but better utility, any transaction speed that can send in a second or two is more than enough for users, what we hunt for is real use cases.
having a fast blockchain is included among the use case or  utility of a coin because all cryptos here on the market have a value and can be used for exchanging and buying but if the blockchain of a coin is slower than can be an issue to the people that dont like to wait . some of these coins with a faster blockchain have another extra use aside from paying , is that what lookin for ? that can also be consider as one of its advantage but many people foccus more on the currency side and to the investing side of a coin .
