I also have some shitcoins, it was when I had a small miner in gear.

Now for a long time I have passed everything to BTC.
Before trading aggressively, sometimes lost and others won, now only deals with 10% of the total and hodl.

This brings me to a reflection:

Bitcoin is like your GF, the altcoins are the rest of the girls that you like, but they can ruin your life, you decide. Tongue

This twitt is quite explicit:

https://twitter.com/aantonop/status/1140953685809348608

Wink

What i am saying is that this coin is totally different from BTC, but there are some markets that aren't covered by BTC (yet).
This is incorrect. BTC covers every part of the world, legal or not. For those where it is illegal, it is unlikely that this thing would be legal. Even if it becomes legal, those people will get conned by associating Libra with something that it isn't AND will get harmed once they find this our:
* Sent money with dangerous description? Flagged.
* Sent money to dangerous address? Flagged.
* Sent money to someone we don't like? Flagged.

When I said market I didn't mean geographical markets (they are all covered by bitcoin), but use-case.

Forget, nobody will pay for coffees with Bitcoin, BTC is an asset, LN is a platform that will use other currencies. Wink

Thoughts on Libra “Blockchain”

Quote
I’m pretty sure that would be a world first of a distributed network transitioning from permissioned to permissionless. Perhaps the network as a whole can switch to PoS, but in order for the stablecoin peg / basket to be maintained, some set of entities must keep a bridge open to the traditional financial system. This will be a persistent point of centralized control via the Libra Association.

Sadly, not worth the time to read that. Terrible shitcoin.

I agree with you, obviously it is shit, I said it in a previous post, but there are many people who read us and we must give arguments so that they understand. Wink

If you do decide to use Facebook’s Calibra wallet then there are no guarantees. And I wouldn’t trust Facebook with my financial data. The statement on Calibra’s website reads:

“When you authorize a payment, we share data with third parties necessary to process that transaction. We also share Calibra customer data with managed vendors and service providers — including Facebook, Inc. — that support our business (e.g., to provide technical infrastructure or direct payment processing). In both cases, we share only the Calibra customer data that is necessary for completing the defined activity or service”

Just a game of attrition.

Good job, Fillippone, now we have a long way to go, activity, do not worry about the merits, it is possible that when we reach the legendary rank, Theymos will no longer use the merit system.Cheesy

Of course, all the merit of Bitcoin belongs to Satoshi Nakamoto, but here we are describing the prehistory of Bitcoin, there are several protocols that are used today and are older than Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Markets Now Show Greater Influence From Institutional Investors: JPMorgan

JPMorgan Chase (JPM) thinks the Bitcoin (BTC) industry has changed considerably since 2017, citing an increase in institutional interest, Bloomberg reported on June 15.

The publication quoted a report led by managing director of global market strategy of the United States’ largest bank, Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou, in which researchers examined recent phenomena surrounding cryptocurrency exchanges.

A very discreet car to use it daily and that transmits good feeling is the Audi RS4. (Avant, better for me)

The B4 RS4 2.7T Avant was a beast for the day.  I never got into the V8 version. Not even sure what is under the hood now?

If the 2.7T was a good car, the power delivery was a bit abrupt. Cheesy

Here some data from B7 and B9:

RS4 (B7)
V8
4.200c.c. (Atmospheric, no turbo)
420 HP / 309 / kW
0/100 Km/h 4.8s
1650 Kg.
Full Traction

Last version:

RS4 (B9)
V6
2.900c.c Biturbo
450 HP / 331 / kW
0/100 Km/h 4.1s
1790 Kg.

Indeed. I also had a RS200 for about a month before it went to a new home. That had a 640 bhp rallycross engine. The prospect of it grenading was too horrifying so I did less than 50 miles in it.

I find the prices these days mental but understandable for group B stuff. What I don't get is the more modest cars. I turned down an E30 M3 Sport Evolution that was about $7000 in 2000 ish. A good one of them goes for $150-175,000 now. It's a nice enough motor but very deffo not that nice or special.

You could get Mercedes 190 Evo 2s for $20,000 all day long from Germany. They're now $250,000 or more. My hire car felt faster than one of them.

Sunday's lesson is - get your internal combustion fix while it's still legal and affordable, kids.

I'm a Quattro man myself, when it comes to group B fantasy.  Nothing has ever sounded quite like those relentlessly boosted 5 jugs.  Also. Ms. Mouton made quite the impression on my hormone addled teenage self setting back to back records at Pikes Peak.

You're right, very good driver Michele Mouton.

I remember a video of Ari Vatanen in Pikes Peak, the whole video is good, but the minute 3.28 driving with one hand and the sun in the face, spectacular, after the minute 3.58 in the curve sliding to the edge of the precipice, impressive.
