Good to see that the network keeps going, these block erupters don't eat more than 5W if I recall correctly? Anyway, there needs to be further distribution done, to prevent FUD and to establish a user base. If the faucet comes up I would recommend a reward not higher than 1 PMC (0.1 or so would be ideal as people would return to it), to keep a steady distribution going and simultaneously establish a base price as these coins are in fact scarce and should be treated this way at some point after the distribution. There's someone already working on a faucet, and he says he'll be putting in the 50k bounty, so it should have more than enough. I'm always open to new ways to distribute my coins, and any automated system that makes it easier is of great interest to me. |

The amount of shill accounts I've seen asking for donations today in Alternate cryptocurrencies for one altcoin alone has been amazing.
Necessary evil, or something that needs to be addressed? I don't know. I guess you'll never make it completely fair no matter what do you, but it is a little annoying seeing one person carrying 20 begging bowls instead of 1.

As long as there is transparency in the premine, then I will convert them to Credit. we are working on transparancy we hope that all people with this same issue can understand that we are under a heavy workload and are trying our best to keep the whole community happy. All miners are welcome to come get rich off of credits with us. Just point a miner at a working pool and have fun. Updates are coming and more pools will be added in due time. All 9nyan (nyn) coins will be auto converted to credits when you load up the new wallet and follow instructions. I'm willing to give anyone the benefit of the doubt, provided I can see that an effort is made to be transparent. You clearly have a capable development team. I'm sure you realise that the crypto community is becoming increasingly more savvy, and a lot more selective about the coins they mine. A lot of developers are realising their coins are worth more when they use them fairly. I'll need to do some wallet backing up, as I've been mining the other Nyan recently. I understand that so let me be constructive instead of just ragging. Do not waste time or coins on faucet, just send 1 PMC to all addresses that received mining reward (0). You have them all listed already. In other words, all miners get 1 PMC per block they already mined. Since you changed fixed difficulty to adjustable one, you do need as much hashpower as you can get to prevent from 51% attack so why not stimulate past, current and future miners a bit? Now this is actually a conversation I'd be interested in having. And I also think that isn't such a bad deal for anybody involved. I have enough to go back through and send a coin to all of them. Perhaps also send me some more technical detail about this either via PM or if you are more comfortable, post it out loud. I'm up for a civilized conversation, particularly if it is for the good of PMC. I think if you read back (not that I blame you for not reading 80+ pages) you will see that I have made every attempt to be transparent throughout this whole thread.
