2481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: December 27, 2016, 09:35:11 PM
The only thing that will happen to you when you lack self control in gambling is you will become bankrupt in the end, it does not matter how much your capital is since the outcome will still be the same, it is a very dangerous game and when it has danger it is very important to be very careful as we do not only live today, we do have our future to take care especially for our family.
Yes you are actually right because avoiding losses means you would win less too and apparently gamble less too.

I was addicted some moths back to gambling and I am still addicted and from my experience quite easily I can tell you that quitting gambling is almost impossible, more because when you leave gambling for a few days then its even more addicting, its like you dont eat food for 5 days then on 6th day you will eat more than usual.
2482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time to Become a Trader on: December 27, 2016, 09:32:03 PM
I don't think there is really a best time to become a trader, anyone and anytime can do so, if you have the capital then shoot.
If you are teenager why not if you have the guts then go. The important in trading is you have to be hands on, you should know the trend, start in small so you could know what and which coin is good at present.
I agree for that! Yeah there is no such time it is the trader. If you money or funds then go! The most important is you have first the knowledge of trading. Many people ask me how to trade so I said to them that invest a small money first to know how it works and pretty works very fine when I teach them how to trade Smiley
I think sometimes young blood can lead to hurried and hence horrible decisions like they hear the hype about a particular coins and get excited but later they give loss because of that hurried decision. Therefore I personally suggest anyone to try trading once you have settled in your life or at least are 18 years of age, if not 25 at least.
2483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you do when BTC shoots up? on: December 27, 2016, 09:24:08 PM
I do not trade, buy once Bitcoin and just waiting for a very high price to sell
Quite simple and nice but do you sell the bitcoins when they reach a value like 900$ or so ?
I never sell at these moments rather I prefer to sell bitcoins when the price starts dropping from the maximum value because usually the price either goes up and up or goes down and down only.
2484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your pain and problems in the bitcoin world on: December 22, 2016, 07:37:55 PM
I would like to know what is your pain and the problems that you face the most with the bitcoin technology?

For myself, when I started was how to send and receive bitcoins. Also, took me a long time to understand the value and the difference between the Satoshi and Bitcoins.
My problem with the bitcoin world is that I can’t use my hard earned bitcoin freely, there are few places that I can use my bitcoin on the internet and no places in my country to use it , I don’t even think that people know what bitcoin is I don’t know why they don’t embrace the fact that bitcoin is a great thing.
2485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: somone steal btc from my wallet on: December 22, 2016, 07:06:32 PM
My advice for you is to switch to another wallet because apparently the guy that used it to send that 0.01 btc will come back for more ,and there is no way you can retrieve them so your best option is to send your money to another wallet like Xapo they have a system that send you a code via SMS that you have to enter whenever you need to send money.
2486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a good modified martingale strategy? on: December 21, 2016, 08:38:44 PM
I have been trying out the martingale strategy for dice but was wondering if anyone has a good modified martingale strategy or any other ideas to try.
There may be lots of strategies will be available but if you're looking for a good one then you may end up disappointed only.

If you ask me, martingale is a very good strategy and if you are doing it in player vs player games in real life, definitely you will get chances to make profits. But, I do not know how gambling sites are managing for such long losing streak to throw us away.
2487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets do you use and why? on: December 11, 2016, 06:17:29 PM
Im just using 2 wallets.First is blockchain and xapo.I use xapo because i feel really secure about xapo'z features. You dont need a 2FA because its all automatic that your account is protected with pin code even without using their app
Xapo is a good one plus they send bitcoins by mixing, I mean the receiver never knows who sent the coins actually. Moreover they manage fees themselves somehow which is quite awesome for me. I use directbet casino as hot wallet for now but I used xapo a lot in past (recent past ) and it was quite awesome too.
2488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: December 08, 2016, 10:10:50 PM
I think tax can never be evaded because tax is the main source of governent to maintain and give salaries to government employers who helps to governs an entire country. Maybe bitcoin cannot imposed with tax but government will find a way. They will surely make a law to regulate the use of bitcoin. If they cannot regulate it, they will ban it.
Evasion of taxes and imposing taxes on bitcoin could be possible only by volunteer acceptance of a bitcoin user.

But holding bitcoin in our wallet is nothing but we are owning some property but in digital format. For owning property we never need to pay taxes, but only when we are going to use them/ sell them. I strongly believe this will be applicable for the case of bitcoin as bitcoin is also viewed as a digital asset.
possible. That is the reason people are viewing adopting bitcoin may kill collecting taxes and the governments. How many people will come forward themselves to pay taxes when they are using bitcoin. I doubt only very few people. So, in my opinion governments are going to face very big challenges in upcoming days.
2489  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: December 08, 2016, 10:00:27 PM
If printing one single currency and distributing properly is the big concern for the concept of one single currency then bitcoin must be the right solution here. Because we have already into a system that satisfying all the criteria and need of one single currency world.

I am also agreeing and not have any doubts that bitcoin is moving towards position of only one currency.
Bitcoin must be an appropriate medium of exchange to be used worldwide as one single currency. Because with no central power to put unnecessary regulations but facilitating people with all needed thing as per the modern requirement of digitalisation yes everything comes under bitcoin ecosystem.
2490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: December 08, 2016, 09:39:32 PM
I bet on sports and I know its gambling, professional gambling isn't myth, people live from gambling, and some people bet with big money. I know people addicted on sports betting, they place thousands of euros on their bets. Betting on sports is definitely gambling.

I dont know why some people are voting to no.. and i think it is obvious that sports betting is a gambling because there is bet means they are putting a risk of their money.. into a battle if who will win you can get the profit or you lose your money.. so we can say iti s gambling..
People are voting 'no' just because of significant differences between sports betting and other gambling : application of knowledge.

It is proven that sports betting is based on knowledge and can be profitable if you are experienced there. But other gambling are not so, even in my experience.
2491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: December 08, 2016, 08:39:54 PM
Basically, everyone know that gambling is a game, No one can doubt on it. Secondly, if you are asking is it investment?
So i think it is investment only for casino's owner, I mean who made casino or online gambling sites than definitely they are earning from them, and it is investment for them, But for us, who are playing gambling with our money. It is not investment or us, because we are playing gambling like a game.
Yeah for some odd reason people have started to call gambling as a investment which to me is totally irrelevant because gambling is like a hobby and do you ever call going to picnic as a investment ?

well if you don't then there is no reason to call gambling as a investment. Yes, you can win with gambling but that's temporary and actually a part of loosing money.
2492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice sites with highest speed on: December 07, 2016, 09:41:59 PM
Every dice I go is superb slow because I use proxy to enter :p. The fastest I think will be primedice. But really I think it depend on which dice server you are closest to so you can have better speed because it is near.
Primedice is fastest when you bet the biggest. Because if you are betting with like 0.000001 btc base bet then its quite slow, I am sorry to say that primedice but its true. I think most of the moneypot sites are quick in processing small bets, while for bigger bets I prefer primedice and crypto-dice
2493  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: December 07, 2016, 09:35:05 PM
Bitcoin can be replace dollar but it will be take too longer time because Bitcoin is now not popular as Dollar because there is many people they do not know about bitcoin like as in other countries also many people do not know about bitcoin and if bitcoin get popularity as dollar then i am sure bitcoin will replace dollar sooner.
In fact bitcoin is not created to replace dollar or any other currency,  I think we should not even think about it, as we are  not here to devalue any other currency, we just want to make bitcoin popular but not through devaluing any other currency, it is fact that bitcoin is still not so much popular but I am hopeful that the popularity of bitcoin Is increasing continuously.
2494  Economy / Economics / Re: Imposing tax on bitcoin on: December 07, 2016, 09:27:14 PM
They don't impose tax on transacting bitcoins but the government can impose a tax on how much money you earned from selling your bitcoins. So for example you bought it at the price today and you sold it at 100% more than what it is today, then you must pay for how much you earned from that. That is the concept of income tax.
It isn't!I'm afraid you don't know how income-tax works.Taxing bitcoins wouldn't just be about adding taxes on buying and selling or trading it through exchanges. One would be taxed for every commodity he ever buys with bitcoins along with bitcoins.Example, buying a T-shirt with bitcoins would need a service tax to be paid for the Government, like your real money.
Yeah you are right but the government has no tools to find out who is doing what business online and hence they cannot really tax someone and the big sellers would themselves pay tax on huge sales.
I think using bitcoins can never be taxed but obviously converting bitcoin to fiat in huge quantities can be taxed.
2495  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★www.bitshook.com★★ DOGECOIN & BITCOIN Accepted ★★ House EDGE 0% Between 1% ★★ on: December 06, 2016, 09:20:28 PM
Hi , I wanted to ask if the promotion is still going . Also how do you calculate the house edge if it is between 0 and 1? I mean I always wanted to see a bitcoin casino website that people could play and wager to get the house edge lower , that way the higher your wager amount goes the lower your house edge gets. There are places where the wager improves your faucet but for whales (which I am not) my solution would mean a lot more.

After  141 pages of discussion and years of finance gambling (I don’t know what else to call this Cheesy ) you guys are still keeping up with the community and their troubles , congrats man , it looks like you guys made it to hall of fame of bitcoin community by working hard and grinding your way into this , I wish all casinos took care of their users like you guys do.
2497  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: December 06, 2016, 08:58:18 PM
I wanted to ask everyone who knows history of satoshidice with evoorhees . I was recently speaking with my boss who thinks the bitcoin gambling business can not be big enough that there could be “review” websites of casinos.  I have simply showed him bitcoinstrip only and he wasn’t getting it and calling they are scrubby tiny websites.

Well I wanted to tell him how much satoshidice was sold for but I couldn’t find the figure , do you guys remember how much satoshidice was sold for (not in btc but in dollars)?
2498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: December 01, 2016, 05:14:57 PM
Same, I also think that holding bitcoin is a good investment to make money that can be used in the near future.

I'm still new in this community and I have bought my bitcoin when it is in its high price already but I because of bitcoins price volatility, Its price will keep increasing as the time pass by and I know that I can harvest a plenty of bitcoin from this seed that I planted.
And added to this sometimes bitcoins take a hike like from 200$ to 600$ in a month or so so now it can quite easily reach 1500$ or 2000$ which people would think like a new wall (actually right now people think 1000$ is a wall and BTC won't cross, which is a terrible myth) so if that happens you will make huge profits.
2499  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: December 01, 2016, 05:08:02 PM
I think this is a step that is not right, if every country or government makes its own cryptocurrency, then other countries would not necessarily accept it so that it makes no difference with the ordinary currency, better a few countries join to create a cryptocurrency so that can be used globally.
Just like European union. I think most of the countries must be thinking about that as the trend about online business and shopping is spread in rapid pace, they must be thinking to facilitate their people providing them good online opportunities. But for this, their country specific cryptocurrency will not help. Only bitcoin must be a right solution.
2500  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you do when BTC shoots up? on: December 01, 2016, 03:44:44 PM
I will sell it and withdrawal to my bank account with bitkonan site because they can directly send my bitcoins to my bank account with very low fees almost no fee  because I want buy house and car and some shares in real life and then open company and start to try trading in site like iq option.
