1721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a problem gambler? on: August 31, 2017, 06:04:08 PM
Sometimes I have a problem gambling.  I tend to binge gamble.  Trying to get away from it though.

Yes, you should try to avoid this kind of problem. Personally, i don't have any kind of problem when i gamble, because i can control myself when i do it. I always play with a low amount, and i don't consider it like a source for getting profit, I don't effect my finanical situation or feel bad to do that.
It's great when you can control yourself in gambling, I can not do that. To me, it's really hard to do because my gambling problem is that I can not control emotions, I always feel angry and annoyed when losing continuously for a long time, I also tried very hard to set the limits for myself but everything was useless, I always get over the limit and the result I get is that I lose everything
gambling won't give you any problem if you stay on the line , not crossed over the limit . stay cool whatever happened especially when you suffering lost , unfortunately yes everytime it gives you a lot of problem because lack of discipline , people tend to ignorant show the cold shoulder.

hard to avoid problem in gambling when you keep repeating common mistakes.
But that's the point ; staying on the line itself is a hell of a trouble. It is soo difficult to control one's temptation especially when someone is addicted to that deed. Furthermore, you can't remain cool with your losses. It tickles our inner a little bit at least. Gambling is a hell of a task. That is the reason no one can manage gambling without excuses. At some stage all gamblers may face some problems which may lead to life threatening excuses too.
1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ahoolee presale - first search engine for online shopping! on: August 31, 2017, 03:30:59 PM
A search engine for shopping only ?
That sounds really crazy and if we see some search engine like that would be really amazing because right now we have to filter up all the results and find the best one for us.

Please can you show us some example like how it will be working ?
1723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to study trading and technical analysis? on: August 31, 2017, 03:09:27 PM
Hi,
I really want to get into trading BTC.. what's the best way to learn it? any recommended course online?
Thanks a lot.
Since you are a Jr. member for now, keep on reading in this forum most often. Besides, it doesn't necessary for you to proceed at once in trading, of course you need to study and learn anything about in this industry. At least you have full of knowledge once you get yourself into the platform.
Trading is not easy, I also have difficulties, but I will continue to follow the advice of this forum for often reading

To beat this difficulties, you can watch Youtube channels explaining tricks about the trade. They also show the most missing points, missed by users. Besides, you can follow tradingview web site where lots of traders share their expectations. It's very useful to me.
I am in the favor of YouTube channels. I myself have learned a lot about trading via these channels. Try to subscribe those channels whose owner is doing trading as well so that he can share his own experiences with you. Moreover you can read different articles and blogs for further help.

After youtube, I like demo accounts for learning purposes. If there is no demo accounts are available, I could not have groomed a trader by this time.
1724  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc = you make me tired on: August 31, 2017, 02:28:35 PM
If you believe in bitcoin that it can help you in so many ways, well even it makes me tired that's fine with me. Bitcoin cannot disappoint me in such a thing but it always makes me give satisfaction in several methods.
This is your believe I suppose. By knowing all the ifs and buts of bitcoin and this is amazingly increase the profit and make you more strongly financially, then I think you must accept the reality of loss along with profits.

Risks are there, losses are there. Just don’t disappoint and don’t get tired, there is much more after this break.
1725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can we stop calling all coins pump and dump? on: August 31, 2017, 11:50:37 AM
But that's what the vast majority of these cryptocurrencies are. The reason is simple, most of them do not have any real use-case, besides speculation, of course. Even Bitcoin was considered a pump and dump in its early days, until people finally realized that it is useful for something.
I think you are right. Bitcoins have been called in pumps and dumps and people didn’t like it at that time. After revelation of the fact that this is the beauty of bitcoin and people are so impressed by this all. Other crypto are not of use, except someone as the bitcoin is only more spreading over the international market.
1726  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: August 31, 2017, 10:54:02 AM
I'm sorry. But that's not really a smart question. Nobody can know in advance which currency will rise next. All is just speculation and whether or not it depends primarily on luck and a little inference.
I think you are true to some extent. We cannot predict about what the price is going to be in future.

But what we have is sense of analysis. We have mathematical models of probability and there we have graphs of how the price have been moving in past. So we may not predict exactly, but we can give an estimate based of probability.
1727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Become A Bitcoin Expert on: August 31, 2017, 10:27:08 AM
If you want to reproduce the technology, then you have a lot of learning to do. You have to know how cryptography works, learn how to code and study the code base on github.
Very true you are. There is a saying, “You will get that for which you have tried learning”. Nothing is just easy to go with. After a time there is need to learn more about that. If you are interested to make technology more expandable and you want to be an extra-ordinary in that only thing you have to do is learn new things.
1728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: August 31, 2017, 09:21:27 AM
The worst mistake you can make in gambling is betting a market that you do not have an edge in. Simple as that.
But with the exception of a few gambling games you do not have an advantage in gambling, the house is the one that has a very large advantage over you, and while for some gambling can be a waste of money for some gambling is just a way to relax, no much different than watching a movie on netflix, to play some video games or practicing their favorite sport.
That is the point. I have never gambled but just got to know about this. Gambling sites are so few that play the real gamble and rules are there for every win and loss. Many people do it for fun, some do it for money but they play it with reality. But majority of gambling sites are just the house of deceptions. They just fraud with you, generally.
1729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: August 31, 2017, 08:31:52 AM
See I am a gambler but I am not feeling any shy while gambling because it is another type income, will be decided with in minutes.
But we may lose money in a fraction of a second but at the same time, we may win gambling and it is completely based on luck.

Some people are ashamed of what they do but they keep on doing it which is incredibly lame. Some people feel ashamed because they lose and when they win they dont feel like that. Some people think that they are doing some nasty stuff because they lose money that they could have use some other place with better purposes
and that's stupidity you are just ashamed when you lose but so happy every time you win, I agree that those who feel this way are just making excuses
can't accept the fact of risking their money so when they been asked about their activity they always tend to deny because they are ashamed about it.
Exactly, you are right, man. I couldn’t just understand the psyche of gamblers. They feel so happy when they win. They feel so grieved when they had loss that is okay with everyone. But when they loss and someone asked them to play it again then they don’t make promises. Why? If you are gamblers then do it. Loss is the part of game. Don’t shy then.
1730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What services you wanna see with Bitcoin ? on: August 30, 2017, 06:30:12 PM
Movies ? gambling sites ? exchanges ? what kind of service you want to see involved with Bitcoin more ?
Movies n all are fine they will surely take Bitcoin but will people be willing to pay Bitcoin for that? Bitcoin is an investment and no-one would need with their investment. And gambling sites already accept bitcoin
Other than that, how many times we come across gamblers in daily life or those who go to cinemas for watching movies and then the ones who are involved in exchanges ?
We all definitely have a large list of services in real life and most of them still work on fiat which makes BTCs just a saving and investment tool like gold. Bitcoin has a different motive, I believe.
1731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your first betting? on: August 30, 2017, 06:09:58 PM
On me, beginning to know the bet since childhood i once played marbles with my friends. The game of marbles is like gambling because the marbles are at stake and playing to get a chance to win more marbles from my friends who risk their marbles as well. other than that since childhood i've seen playing cards game playing by adults and risking their money in the game. That was all the beginning of time i knew of gambling betting.
My case was same as yours. I have never bet though but yes I saw many people betting at many things. I have seen people losing their bets on so serious materialistic objects that they had so huge loss because of that. Betting at games, at work, at field and many other betting have been seen everywhere. I am from highly tradition following family, probably that might be a reason.
1732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: August 30, 2017, 01:27:37 PM
Gambling taught me that I don't have to be greedy, I need to be contented on what amount I won for this day.
Because if I never get contented that winning can be recovered by the casino.
And it's the reason why I'll lose some more.

Goos thing it you've learned early on. Some people learned the last lessons they had with gambling. Gambling can be fatal for people who don't have very weak emotional capacity. There are many cases wherein hige losses lead to depression, broken family relationships, people losing their minds and suicide
That's true mate, good thing that you've already learned a lesson with your mistakes, it is really hard to quit in gambling and people are not really contented on what they have even if they have what already what they need, all of us won’t satisfy until we realize that we are already losing a lot, but some people has a late realization that they cannot control themselves at first, that’s why some people lead to depression, broken family relationships, people losing their minds and suicide just like what you’ve said.  Cry
In short, the prime reason must be greedy. I am not against greed but I recommend fulfilling this greed by efficient ways and hard work. Gambling is no mean of earning capital or profits. People who fall for it are numbskulls. There is no easy way of getting what a man cherishes. He must go through hard times in order to grow.
Why not you treat gambling is a way to learn those lessons ? Until I touch gambling, I was not aware that I am also greedy person. Gambling only notified my characteristics and capabilities on emotion control. Gambling may not capable of teaching any lessons but it will notify that where we are lagging to have a successful life.

But we are seeing many people are learning very big lesson from gambling. From that I understand it is up to a gamblers capability to learn or to ignore those lessons.
1733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: August 30, 2017, 12:47:01 PM
You can only get benefits from Gambling

- If you have control on yourself
- If you stop after a little profit
- If you do not put you all bankroll in it
- If you do not panic

You should know when to stop, you should not get greedy if you have won some money I suggest you set a target and stop gambling immediately then you will have profit otherwise, you will lose all of your money.
Why stopped with few "if". I believe this must be an infinite list. Gambling will never let you to leave off with profits. But we need to remember the benefit from gambling does not need to be only profits but it can be any other thing like grooming ourselves as a perfect human being.

Gambling is capable of providing many other benefits except profits. But each and every gambler is targeting only profits as the ultimate benefit from gambling that is the reason they are all failing with gambling.
1734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The time is WWIII, what are our Bitcoin Doomsday Preppers doing? on: August 30, 2017, 12:16:31 PM
We live in some dangerous times, where countries are pointing nuclear missiles at each other. We should be prepared for everything and that includes, protecting our technology/currency.

We have seen Bitcoin going into space! Blockstream Inc. plans to make the digital ledger underpinning the cryptocurrency accessible via satellite signal so people without Internet access, or in places where bandwidth is expensive, can trade and mine bitcoin. The company also touts the service as additional layer of reliability for bitcoin’s blockchain data in the event of a network disruption.

Merchants using Bitcoin payment processors should re-think their strategy, because these payment processors are linked to the fiat systems and those networks might be compromised during a nuclear attack.

How are you planning to keep the power on and where will you be buying bitcoins when the power is down at your local exchange? < One more reason not to store your coins at your local exchange >

Mobile networks might also be down or overloaded when communications infrastructures are damaged. Internet access might also be disrupted, if these attacks are combined with Cyber attacks.

What redundancy are implemented at third party services to prepare for the worst?

Share with us, what prepping are you planning for in a Doomsday scenario?

First of all there won't be a wwiii, cause countries like usa and Korea know they can't afford to attack each other and India and China are standing down so for the time being we can be at peace. If in case it does happen, first priority to protect myself and then to move to a safe country or pass my coins to someone who's on a safe country, that's the only way to protect your coins, one risk is that person may not give you back, but at that time it won't even matter.

There will not be a WWIII? So what is this then? http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-08-29/japan-says-north-korea-launches-missile/8851128

North Korea are not playing with their toys, they are preparing for war. You do not test ballistic missiles over populated areas, if you do not plan to use them. We should also prepare for the worst, by stockpiling on alternative payment methods. < bartering, crypto currencies, informal trade etc. >

Japan should start to invest in Bitcoin, because the currency can be used to move wealth over borders, when the shit hits the fan. You will not be able to move gold and silver bars, but the same amount of wealth in bitcoins can easily be moved to another country.
If third world war is about to happen, then for what bullshit was UNO established and all that 5 veto powers ? Are they sleeping ? There won't be a world war because if it happens, it would be the end of the World. Just research the latest weapons, many are not nuclear ones but they cover large area destruction. If the world will end, what good is all money or digital gold ?
1735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: August 30, 2017, 11:46:08 AM
Embarrassed I wonder I quit from bitcoin now... I think this price too high.. high fee and low confirm... bitcoin will be an old era
Apparently, you look like a rookie to me and looks like you are not a friend of bad weather. Anyways, I won't stop you but would clarify some of your doubts. First, if you think prices are high, either buy little or earn without investing. Second, if prices won't go up, then most of us, won't hang up anymore here. Third, BTC is a blessing for only those who trust in it and stay patient like Eric.
1736  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could realistically be worth $500,000 on: August 30, 2017, 10:41:59 AM
Well OP! Don't mind me but can you be a little bit more precise in your comment. It took me some time to read it and really I felt dizzy at the end.
If such great businessmen have passed certain statements about BTCs then a humble guy like me does not need to speak much. Still, let me, BTCs can be 500k dollars and it's just a matter of time. If we talk about threats, in tech world, every invention faces such troubles.
1737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner trader on: August 30, 2017, 09:15:44 AM
I'm a beginner trader.
A month ago I lost my entire deposit.
Then I bought training in trading. I learned a lot about their course. I realized that the strategy that I had was a mistake. Now my trade brings me profit. Small - but profit!
That’s pretty courageous that you did not give up on trading rather took it as a challenge and learned in detail about it. That’s great if you are earning profits now. It is sagacious if you are testing your trading strategies with small amounts. One day you will be among the best traders. Good luck!
1738  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dividing your salary. on: August 28, 2017, 08:47:22 AM
Everything depends on how big is your salary and what are your daily needs and overall monthly expenses. My advice would be that from the money that has left you when you covered all expenses you take about 10-15% and invest it in bitcoin. The rest you put in some other investment because it's not good to put all eggs in one basket.

Well to an extent you are correct that expenses as percentage will differ on the basis of salary you get. Higher the salary lower will be expenses % as such and vice versa. If you can somehow withdraw 10% of the salary and invest say 4% in bitcoin and rest 6% in altcoin will be a good move considering the returns of few good altocin in coming time be manifold. So you can get good returns from btc and form altcoin as well as per your investment.
It is always been a fantastic strategy to divide the salary. Make some portion for household, some for expenses, and you must have some fixed portion for investing in bitcoins and altcoins too. Altcoins and bitcoins are more yielders of profit than any other coins. You just have to invest smartly for that dividing salary must be a first step.

But dividing salary alone will not help in rough foreseeing. How effectively we applying other money management techniques will decide the final result. Still, I must agree that dividing salary must be a very first step of money management techniques.
1739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin acceptance on: August 28, 2017, 07:54:39 AM
You can pay with Bitcoin in several stores and even restaurants here in Germany. Are we the only one who have this?  Huh
There are now few stores in my country that is now accepting bitcoin as payment. For sure it will improve in this following years.
People of my country appear to me sleepy in this matter. Unluckily, I haven't stumbled into a single shop or restaurant like that. But other option I have other than waiting.
However, I know many who are earning in bitcoins and improving their life standards. Though I have discovered some online shops that accept bitcoins but I am not in need of the items they offer at present.
1740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Might Exceed $1 Million, More Millionaires in World Than Bitcoins on: August 27, 2017, 08:30:03 PM
this is a possibility in the future, we all know that even though bitcoin's value is volatile if you look at the trend, the graph is showing you a positive outcome, through the years, more and more millionaires will come out, because of bitcoin, not only that, I also believe, even billionaires will come out. I also think that it will really exceed $1 million, since there is not enough bitcoin for everyone, and bitcoin is now becoming a valuable asset, people will try to get there hand on bitcoin just like before. I think that like before there was a gold rush, and people wanted to be rich in an instant back then, however bitcoin is gold 2.0, and bitcoin, will not give you a high value at first, but in the long term, bitcoin can give you a fortune, like now, people who have a lot bitcoin, those have had invested on bitcoin, before it has reached the 1k mark, are now benefiting from bitcoin, since it grew more than 3000% from its start. I also think that bitcoin, will surpass all other cryptocurrencies that may come out, knowing that bitcoin will be more dominant in the coming years, we need to take care of our wallets and need to gain more bitcoins.
Let me get it straight. You are saying that one bitcoin will be worth 1,000,000 dollars in future. I think this time the price has been a little bit over exaggerated. I am a big fan of digital gold but I am not foolish enough to daydream. I am sure this is not gonna happen in my life time however may be after a century it would be this worthy but then again, I think there will be no fiat at that time.
