1501  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: November 01, 2017, 08:17:32 AM
In life, anything can happen. Likewise with bitcoin, may will lose its value. However, everything must be have process and necessarily be 0. So, with analysis and information summarized, we can have an idea value of bitcoin for next time.
There is a difference between bitcoin losing it s value and bitcoin losing its value totally. Losing its value is totally expected in anything that is volatile and that is one feature we just have to deal with and no one and no one can have an idea what tomorrow will hold for it or even the next minute.

The little sharp drops to me seems more like loosing of value as well, not until it crashed. However, losing its value totally is something that is not possible unless we all dump and say we do not want to use again.
1502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to dump ETH? on: October 31, 2017, 04:04:42 PM
I wouldn't dump ethereum right now. Its at breaking point. I know its risky but it may break and start going up faster. Its current price is still cheap. Comparing to lot others.
It is cheap if I have Bitcoin but my capital all in USD and altcoin at now. Sadly, I can only buy it a bit at the current price because when I convert my capital to Bitcoin with its current value, it made me spend a lot of money to buy Bitcoin Undecided
A little expensive it is to buy a bitcoin at the present moment indeed !
No matter how tempting the future value of bitcoin is but still affording a whole BTC at the present time is nearly impossible for majority of the interested ones that is why I suggest a middle way to such people. Bitcoin is a digital currency and the concept of fractions is valid here. So buy bitcoin with small amounts and treat this step.
1503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: right time to buy alts on: October 31, 2017, 03:33:47 PM
This is the good time to buy altcoins. The price has recovered few days ago. They will go up in next month.  Cool
Finally, a good time for all the altcoiners has arrived and now we will be watching good increments in the prices of all famous altcoins.

The best is to invest in Ethereum because it will make some real progress. It can give profit of few dollars by the end of this year for sure. This is a golden chance for making profits but the cost must not be paid by selling out bitcoin as we all know this is a temporary change.
1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy again? on: October 31, 2017, 02:19:49 PM
Let buy altcoins immediately. There are some signals point out that altcoins price will raise in near future. Trust me!  Cool
Indeed, the golden time of altcoins is coming because the new bitcoin forks is about to show his presence very soon in the market. Some people are thinking it as a game changer while others take it as a descendant of BCC, which was not really a good performer. However, there is no deny in the fact that the altcoins will be gaining value soon and now is the time to invest in them but I strongly advice to not sell out bitcoin for this purpose.
1505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you learn from your gambling mistakes? on: October 31, 2017, 10:28:51 AM
Limiting yourself would be key to lessening the gambling times that you have and emotions should be intact also. Usually, if someone is angry, they tend to make the wrong decisions.
Controlling emotions and limiting gambling hours all these are possible for any gambler only after many frustrating gambling moments. I mean to say gamblers will learn all these techniques only after experiencing many gambling problems. The losses , we are facing from gambling definitely will make us to learn some lessons to avoid future losses and problems.

When a gambler is failing to learn these lessons then definitely they are gambling problems will persist.
1506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling ends on: October 31, 2017, 08:20:09 AM
can this world stop in gambling?
someone who like to gamble hard to escape from the gambling trap. almost like a drug addict. Even after they went bankrupt still struggling to gamble by borrowing money for gambling. Actually what do they expect?
You are bit confusing. Still I understand you are trying to ask how to stop gambling after getting addicted and why addicted gamblers keep gambling even after many big losses.

Stopping gambling after getting addicted to it, will be literally impossible for anyone but we can prevent gambling addictions by safeguarding ourselves through practicing some measurements. Addiction is the main reason why gamblers keep going for it even they are losing every day. In my opinion no one can find better ways to stop gambling hence gambling will never end.
1507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: October 31, 2017, 06:36:09 AM
yes we save bitcoin for my children because we know Bitcoin is a best future for my children.
Mostly many of the peoples here save bitcoins for their future and are really eager to wait for their bright future including me. Also I am expecting a lot from bitcoins and also I am working hard to own some coins for my future.

Bitcoins can truly make our future stable and we can depend on them as previously we saw a good example about this when the peoples who bought their bitcoins in 2009 and sold them in the year 2016-2017 with a huge profit making their life stable without any financial obstacle. The same is now expected by many of us and that will surely be worth it in the future.
1508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: October 31, 2017, 06:06:08 AM
It might cause damage to the tax income someday. But right now, it won't hurt that much because mostly taxes for the gov't came from businesses and of course every single thing that we buy in the market have VAT so even if we use btc in transacting we are still paying taxes. Like that burger you jist bought that costs five bucks or a pack of cigarettes and even that bottled water from the convenience store.
We do not yet pay taxes for bitcoins directly but indirectly we do pay taxes for bitcoins. You truly mentioned a correct statement that we always need to pay the VAT for any commodity we purchase and the VAT here is nothing but TAX. We can't use bitcoins directly as a currency and always we need to change them to fiat and then use it.

For converting it to fiat, we always need some tax at least to deposit or withdraw the amount from our bank account. That tax indirectly goes to the government without actually knowing what it is for. I think, in future as bitcoins will be made legal, they will be applied with heavy taxes as the profits in bitcoins are great.
1509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how control my emotion?? on: October 31, 2017, 05:28:36 AM
sometimes a loss is better than a big loss. in technical terms use a stop loss order which is practically doing this for you. it triggers when price falls lower than your "tolerance" so you automatically dump the coin and prevent further losses.
it doesn't have to be a stop loss and automatic either. you can do it manually too. you just have to plan for these things ahead of time. for example you buy ETH at 0.07BTC and decide that you don't want to lose more than 5% of your money so you dump it as soon as ETH got dumped hard down to 0.0665BTC and prevent losing more money when it was really dumped hard down to 0.046BTC and then buy back at the bottom.

I agree, determining a stop loss is one wise way that can be done to reduce the risk of greater loss. By setting the limit, we can then buy it back at the lowest point, and when the price goes back up, our previous losses will be covered because we get very low entry poin. and this is indeed a basic strategy done by stock traders, forex, and the like. It is possible that this strategy can also be used in cryptocurrency.
It is really funny some newbie traders do not really understand the importance of stop loss and then they keep watching as the trend keeps bleeding until they have realized they have lost so bad and now want to sell at that point.

Shits get real when you are losing but loosing extremely bad is always the trader's fault. However, there is no point selling for anyone with a huge loss now, than to look for more funds to buy in more at dips and compensate the losses they have had when the dips come back better.
1510  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: October 31, 2017, 04:54:12 AM
My advise is just to buy a few of falling prices and wait until to goes up again. It takes some time for the price to recover but don't worry since it is probably worth the wait.
That sometimes can even still be a challenge. There are so many times just like recently that I thought the prices had fallen and stable and then after buying, they kept falling down the more. The thing is that the market is unpredictable, and sometimes you just have to wait for a while to be sure the coast is clear and the dumping activities have reduced before you step in, then that stage, you can just relax and watch the next level of huge profit you end up having.
1511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex or Poloniex. which one do you like to trade? on: October 30, 2017, 07:02:14 PM
We know that Bittrex and Poloniex are the most sought after exchangers.
But I want to know which one is best to trade? and I want to know why.
Thanks.  Wink
Bittrex is good for trading but I heard that people are having some issues with bittrex from a past few days, I guess they couldn't access their account or something, you can use that exchange once all the problems are solved. Poloniex on the other hand is good, has a good liquidity ratio, but I just feel it's not the best exchange at the moment.
Bittrex for me has always been the best place to trade without issues, the platform is very smooth and the support is good. Most people who started complaining recently are those who registered on bittrex after the fork and they are being asked to verify their accounts first to continue which I did not really see as a major problem for someone to do. The only issue I just had with that was not telling people before just closing their accounts.
1512  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: October 30, 2017, 06:26:12 PM
The only risk is that bitcoin will experience correction before it get to another height.
That is not even a risk. Why would a correction be a risk when it is usually the best time for anyone who would want to get in to even buy more.

Getting to another height is also not a risk and the only thing that makes bitcoin risky is just the market FUD which could cause huge drop in price which could make a weaker hand panic and sell at loss while the stronger ones buy back or probably the whole government worldwide decided to declare war against bitcoin which I do not really see the possibility of that anytime soon or in the nearest future.
1513  Economy / Economics / Re: Central of the Philippines Recognizes Bitcoin on: October 30, 2017, 05:43:04 PM
This is great I'm seeing new investors in bitcoin since it's being recognizes as one of payment system. and many rich people in the philippines would invest so expect the demand of bitcoin to increase also the price. SEA will be one of the reasons why bitcoin will goes to bubble anytime.
It is really great and this is the kind of development that we want which would even make the whole bitcoin ecosystem stay even more relevant as we keep moving on. The demand will really soar high from this news among the Philippines and will also keep sending message to other part of the world and nearby countries until one day we see that the recognition and adoption is worldwide.
1514  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC is a roller coaster on: October 30, 2017, 05:09:08 PM
Yes I think so.
Others says that bitcoin price will go so high. But the other says that it will dump just like a roller coaster spinning (high/low).
Well, you should not always look at what others say and stick with what you believe. What do you believe ?
Bitcoin is already on the verge of being adopted globally and that alone is enough to discard most of the news you hear about it crashing hugely.

Definitely, anything can happen and we can see a huge dump but that depends on how much support is for the community and trust me, you would not want to dump your coins for the whales at this stage if you are smart cause they are looking for every means to be in control and buy more once you dump.
1515  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: October 30, 2017, 03:57:42 PM
Trading means you need to study the circulation of market and read different speculations of every professional trader to have a right timing when to buy and sell coins. Investing is a lot more easier, The profit that you will gain is depending on how much capital you want to invest to start.
It totally depends on what we are looking at as investment. Are you leaving your cash in the hands of someone to make it work for you while you earn a certain percentage on it while the person takes the risk or you are the one using the money to work yourself while you take the risk.

These are basically like the same thing but just that one can earn you more with more risks, while one can earn you less with lesser risk or probably even more risk of the person holding your funds disappearing.
1516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins is pumping, should i buy some or wait? on: October 28, 2017, 06:22:32 PM
I would prefer to stay in bitcoin. Buy bitcoin when it goes down. Yeah maybe altcoin can be profitable now but I would choose for a long term one. Choosing a good alt is quite an experiment.  If you are having that much and wanting to invest in altcoins then I would recommend just one- eight of it. In addition, I think you are just attracted by the pump but you see altcoins are for short term profits. I would still go for bitcoin. Wait for it to go down then buy, once it goes up it would be huge.
Most especially now that the cloud is still not pretty clear with the upcoming fork. Almost all the people are still a bit scared to opt into altcoin yet with the fear of it still being dumped the more. I have a pretty feelings that some of them will still be pumped though, but for some already holding it, those pumps are just the best time to dump and buy more in the upcoming dip before the next fork.
1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best ongoing or upcoming Pre-ICO token sale on: October 28, 2017, 03:44:28 PM
i think electroneum is the most promissing at the moment. Everybody (even at etoro) is talking about them and their approach to target mobile users is a pretty good strategy. I don't know if they're the most promising longtime-investment but at the moment they should generate the highest profits in my opinion

do you have a link ? didn't heard about it before.
Electroneum has pretty much been doing a huge job behind the scenes as well as some pretty good marketing which makes me so eager to see how this turns out. I just downloaded their mobile app recently to see how the whole mobile mining will turn out to be anyway. Nothing is not worth trying these days and you may be surprised with the whole lot of hype going on with the project.
1518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does everyone think of this ICO? (Newbie) on: October 28, 2017, 02:17:07 PM
Personally I am a big fan of this altcoin.

I have been following them for quite some while and they have a solid team, great whitepaper and all their numbers and concepts in order.

Their pre-ico was small but very successful, and if their first week goes very well I will be throwing down some Ethereum.

Their only issue is lack of marketing, so I am glad to see they have an article with cointelegraph.
That article was sponsored anyway so I would not have banked on that in the first place since almost all ICOs do that for marketing. However, it was a nice read and looking at their team though, I would not really have much to say.

It is best you do your findings diligently before investing and see how feasible the project may end up being in the market anyway at the long run. From my own angle anyway, I may not really invest unless the company comes out with a solid information why they really need a crowdfunding in the first place for a project like that.
1519  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: October 28, 2017, 11:37:20 AM
Gold has always been people's favourite thing of investment and is known to everyone. But now people have started recognizing the value of bitcoins. In my opinion investing in bitcoins would be better as it is volatile and is really profitable for long time investments, even though it carries a bit risk with it.But the risk is worth taking. The value of gold is more stable and rises much less in comparison to the growth in the value of bitcoins each year.
Certainly gold has been known for a very long time, it is considered as a safe asset and apparently, you can still make use of it for other things while you bank on the value in the long run. Hence it will still remain a favorite one way or the other. However, with the value of bitcoin and the benefit it has brought, knowing that it is still early and there is more chance for it to grow, investors have really started shifting their attentions and before you know it, BOOM!
1520  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: October 28, 2017, 09:18:55 AM
I'm so thankful once the bitcoin price goes up. If people who work suddenly stop by choosing bitcoin, maybe because they don't want to tired to work. Yet bitcoin is very good to be a side job. But I don't know the people who work choose bitcoin. Probably because of the soaring price of bitcoin.

We are all happy that the price of bitcoin is starting to go up all the time. And when the price goes up to near $6,000 we are excited to see more of it's pump. Many are now knowing that bitcoin is a good side job and it can give everyone a lot of profit.
Bitcoin this year has been going up compare to the last few years and people are now more interested investing bitcoin and others want to earn bitcoin by offering their skills. Bitcoin can give people the freedom to earn while saving bitcoin.
Exactly we all here are happy and everyone who is connected with bitcoin is happy too. The price rise is so amazing that I remember a month ago when price was just $3500, people were talking about bitcoin price crossing $5000 in the end of year. But see, it has crossed almost $6000 right now. And still 2 months are up to end the year. Bitcoin is amazingly growing and we are happy.
