This release includes: - Spork: True masternode payment enforcement and increasing masternode rewards - Masternode Hardening, I've fixed over 10 vulnerabilities in Darksend that could have possibly caused DOS attacks - Changed the way Masternode pinging works, using a timestamp calculated from the average block timestamp instead of the local time. This should fix some cases where nodes went offline after awhile. - Added a simple list that will provide who gets paid on what blocks. - Turned back on collateral transactions - Added collateral to the queuing process (dsa and dsq protocol commands) - Improved collateral strategy: Collateral is now paid in the form of mining fees. This creates a situation where to double spend the inputs, you would need to pay the miners higher fees then 0.1DRK (the collateral fee). This makes it impossible to double spend attack our collateral system. - New command "masternode winners", shows the next 20 payees - New Darksend branding What we need to test: - If anyone gets hit with a collateral charge, please send your debug.log and wallet.dat to evan@darkcoin.io- "masternode winners" must always be in sync across the whole network. my only problem with that rocket ship is that it should be pointed east at a 45 degree angle for the gravity burn to get into orbit or it will loose all its delta V and just fall back to earth.

nope, this ship is designed to fly far beyond the moon, it can start from 720 different angles, capt'n evan doesn't care about delta V, he use his own delta D to escape gravity You are the man! I look forward to your future work! BTW, would you be good at logo design? We may need one to represent Darksend.... It would have to be scalable, to fit in small places, as well as large. Could we have a logo like this: A rectangular shiny gold and gold veined frame with the inside of the frame a glossy sparkly deep black with the logo written in white shiny mother of pearl and simple font letters. This would be a logo to challenge banks and existing financial institutions. My vote for the Darksend logo design:  It's very nice, but doesn't scale well, we need a logo that looks good large and small.... |

We probably don't need a logo for different features although it also probably wouldn't hurt to have different ones (same essentials)with different themes. What we want to do for branding is do like Coca-Cola and focus on the brand recognition, that will become a moat. I believe Raze created the current logo and much respect to him for that. Good job Raze. Now because we are all part of creation and change is a part of creation, I challenge Raze and others to create a logo like the one described above. Do you think it would look good too? Would it look bad? I ask Raze, and others, to never be content with the absence or lack of change and to decide which visualization they feel (we can't think this out, only feel) our brand recognition should be. People have been asking for marketing experts to help out… There is a simple reason I am requesting this, no grand ideas, I'll post more later.. |
