Same guy(s) that had cryptohours.com. STAY AWAY!

First few payments come through and are legit, then all the rest go into someone else's wallet.
Can not get any support form them, so all your money is GONE!
2502  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Stable BIT Scam/Fraud on: May 25, 2015, 04:36:04 PM
why are you bothering yourself by creating new threads and marking scam? you know what? just mark the "companies" which are serious and let's all consider, that the rest is spam. deal?Smiley

I agree. Although I thinkg 99.99999999% are scam... SO pretty much all.
A few people the first day/hour can make some money the rest are stuck holding the bag(s).  Cheesy
2503  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: CRYPTOS110 earn 110% 52 BTC in! on: May 25, 2015, 04:34:26 PM
Soo. I'm guessing this one is totally dead? Cheesy

Wait, I though the pool thing didn't start yet and then the forum was down and I had no way to connect to anyone to even know it was running or when to pay, etc?  Embarrassed
2505  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1800 TH] Kano CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: May 25, 2015, 04:22:43 PM
Cool the forum's back. Took a while. LOL.

On another note. OMFG, still no block!?!

2507  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1800 TH] Kano CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: May 21, 2015, 12:21:44 PM
A 14PH farm will pay nicely; this pool get's 0.5% of the reward per block.  The "cost to run" each is not a valid comparison at all.

The biggest cost in running a pool properly is probably your time involvement.

Bandwidth and resources to handle the I/o of the miners connecting must be pretty high I'd think.
My forum uses almost 10GB of bandwidth a month and needed a dedicated server, I'm sure kano uses more.
Main server is currently about 1.5TB a month (for everything)
Obviously higher when the pool harsh rate and worker count is higher.
that is a lot of bandwidth and i thought 500GB a month for the Bitcoin Node is nothing in comparison, but I'm not sure if power wise it consumes the same as a lets say 10 PH farm.

No, power wise it's just one Pc. Few hundred watts at most if it's high end.

just how much power and bandwidth can the pool servers consume verses a 14 PH farm
[/quote]

I don't get the question, sorry.

As a colonel used to tell me, 'It's way above my pay grade'.  Cheesy

I'm lucky I grasp the concept of hashes, still learning about all of this.

All I know is, with Eligius, I had to wait 8 days to get paid 0.11BTC which was about 4-5% or so above normal earnings so I stopped sending hashes there for now at least.
No ill feelings, just don't like waiting for earned income.

Don't mind giving up some to the pool owner, since I know how much servers and running sites costs and time it takes.

Sounds good bud. Have a good night and don't let stuff stress ya.  Smiley

Life's too short to stress and if it stresses ya, it's time to move to something that doesn't.  Wink

Don't send coins!!

We will be using a new btc addy  pay into .

Then  when we start the  rental  ck will assign us a mining btc addy.

Cool, I'll keep a lookout for your info.

On the other hand, I think this is starting to get out of hand, no? It seems to be past the 'some trusted guys for fun' idea with everyone wanting to join and stuff on the same solo pool.
Just my cents.  Undecided

2518  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: WHY does this site allow such blatant SCAM's and people with fake accounts? on: May 20, 2015, 02:23:31 AM
I read the warning, but it is still immoral to not try to put a stop to open scams and people preying on others who don't know better.

I run an active site too and would never allow such crap. Just my 2 cents though.
 Cheesy
2519  Economy / Investor-based games / WHY does this site allow such blatant SCAM's and people with fake accounts? on: May 20, 2015, 12:08:42 AM
I don't know of any other websites that are legit that allow such nonsense.

Do they get a cut of the scams?
2520  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin mining! 53 solved! on: May 19, 2015, 08:20:02 PM
I spoke via pm with ck.. This may become a quit while you are ahead club.

Not sure If I will do it anymore.  For now it may be too popular.  We have 10 original and more then 10 as alt.
I got more then 50 pm's in about 1 day.  Plus and here is the killer the wife did not like me  holding 45 other peoples coins.

I think the biggest logistical problem I get is  coin safety.
Next is time spent  I spent a lot of time doing it.

It was very nice when I went to check the first block and the second one popped up right before my eyes!

Still have time left for 1 or 2 more. Grin

I respect whatever you want to do. I'd be in for one more ride , but I too believe in the quit while ahead and don't get too greedy notion, so after that I'd take a break.
