1661  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: February 23, 2016, 12:38:14 PM
Hi. I downloaded and tried running the new ETH miner provided in your help, it was getting work for about 5-10 minutes and then it started mining, after 15 minutes nicehash was reporting nothing but my gpu (GTX 770) was getting warm and definitely working... What's the deal with this?

I don't think Ethereum is fully functional on their network yet. Can't rent it either from there, not an option in the pool setup, etc..

Maybe they are still working on it?

Whatever makes the pool owner who already puts in quite a lot of his time to inform us of everything and runs a pool that makes $$$ for all of us the least amount of work, is fine by me.

No issues if things are send with some extra $$ behind it. I always use 8 confirmations at the slowest 10 and haven't had a 'lost' transaction yet.

For testing I sent one with 20 confirmations and it took about 14 hours to finally confirm.
1665  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: February 23, 2016, 01:11:49 AM
You guys been having issues today again on westhash? A bunch of my rentals have gone down to 0'0 for no reason, no errors on the stat page of the rental, even showed a bunch of miners, but 0.00 hash rate. Just started coming back on line.
1666  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] MiningRigRentals.com - Web pool manager - Easy Mass Rentals - Algos! on: February 22, 2016, 01:18:06 PM
Wish I had checked this thread out before I tried them out.
One rig for three hour rental is doing fine, the other rented for twenty four connected then went to zero hash after 15 minutes and two different pools. Mining on both with my own rigs so I know the pools are fine.

Owner said he'll try to reboot, so far no joy.

And MRR hasn't canceled or refunded either.

-from OP - "Automatic rental cancellations if you rent a rig that is offline for at least 20 minutes of the first 30 minutes of the rental. Rent with confidence!"

If that's the case, the site has changed a lot since I went used it around June 2015. At that time, each time I had a problem with low hashrate or no hashrate, I get refunded proportionally to the working time I had.

It used to. But lately their support is either missing, or they are pocketing the differences in lost hash rate..

They still have NOT responded in this thread about this lately... Makes you wonder.

Again.... ANYONE Know of a better rental service out there that you can trust? I'm all ears.. Wish Betarigs would still be running, But those morons ran it into the wall within a month.
1667  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] MiningRigRentals.com - Web pool manager - Easy Mass Rentals - Algos! on: February 22, 2016, 01:12:13 PM
I do have to put my 2 cents in here though.

Automatic offline crediting works. I get it from them often. I rent something and it never comes on line, I get refunded right away, not sure why yours isn't/wasn't.

Renting a large proxy (more than 5TH) is not as simple as when you mine on your small GPU rigs or small miner rigs my friend.

If it's a larger proxy, it can take 5-15 minutes just to have them all restart after the pool changes go through from the rental.
Then you have to worry about the Vardiff finding the proper difficulty, could be more time or blips in the hash rate (This is done by your pool not the proxy)
It happens and there is NO WAY around it, unless you manually set your difficulty.

People who rent on there tend to not read descriptions which EXPLAIN this stuff pretty easily and then complain when the hash rate is off or slow to start.
THEY ARE THE REASON the rental ratings are low most of the time, as it's user error, not rig error.

Sometimes Proxies and Rig sets go down, but we can always compensate by adding more speed or extra time.

...And yes, chinese proxies are utter crap. I have yet to have one that works properly.

1670  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] MiningRigRentals.com - Web pool manager - Easy Mass Rentals - Algos! on: February 21, 2016, 01:25:57 PM
The time shouldn't matter if it's 3 hours or 30hours. IF there is a significant loss (I usually have rented hundreds of TH total) it should be refunded.

The lack of response from the company lately in this thread however is troubling.

Any other hash rental places you guys know about that's stable and good?
1671  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] MiningRigRentals.com - Web pool manager - Easy Mass Rentals - Algos! on: February 20, 2016, 11:09:56 PM
I agree, I think they eat the missing hash rate payments. Pay the rig owner the 'x' amount, bill the renter the full amount and pocket the difference as a 'bonus'. Kind of like Banks do. LOL.

Their tech support used to be ok, but I am not exactly happy about the response I have received the past dozen or so underperforming rentals that warranted a partial refund to me, yet they replied with the line I mentioned before.

I hope the Betarigs crew did NOT take over MRR or they are going to be out of business within a few months.

I host and rent out a ton of miners under my account.

Any other rental places that are reliable out there?

Do u have any mining performance for this card?

My 390x es get 31.5mh stock. Slight OC to 33.5 though. Better deal than Furys if u can get the 390x at under $400.

 @ the person renting huge rental on NH/WH and raising up the prices again. SMH.
1674  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [Solo Group Mining] Block Breakers United on: February 20, 2016, 04:14:37 PM
Also you sort of straight up ripped the terms, the extra mining rigs and the objective.

I said based off your group.. So naturally I inherited that. Take it as a compliment. I thought you did a good job thinking of everything. I'm just interested in a larger group run, but seems like that wasn't going to happen in here with this group. So sorry I offended everyone, was just trying to get things rolling. I'll remove it all, and take a refund of my funds please.

Ohh there is, but it's invitation only and no thread shtters invited.  Cheesy

I actually only check the site every few hours as it's mentally draining to watch live stats IMO.

5minutes is the lowest I'd even consider an auto refresh if I needed to actually watch it.
1676  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [25 PH] ** 5x AVALON6 GIVEAWAY ** Kano CKPool (kano.is) [0.9% PPLNS] US,DE,SG,JP on: February 20, 2016, 03:35:26 PM
That auto refresh is way too fast.

No need to watch the pool that closely as stats are on a delay anyways. Also rentals are always 15 minutes behind what's shown also on their end (at least at MRR) so again, that refresh rate is useless.

Set it to a 5 minute refresh and be done.

Works perfectly for me, as even a refresh every second will not do anything extra for me or you in regards to the pool or the hash rate.

It's not like daytrading stocks, where every minute matters. Here it does not.

Probably a Scammer.

Almost replaced that sp20 with a S7 yesterday. Glad Ups screwed up and left my packages at the warehouse.

Fate.. It's Fate!  Wink

Fate realized it missed Block Friday, so it is making up for it today..
