We need a proper Block Friday to make up for the slow blocks lately.  Grin
1602  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS Alcheminer 256 MH/s miner and boards on: March 04, 2016, 02:22:16 PM
I pmed you if the price is right I may take whole unit depends on price let me know . ill make a offer as well once i see it. I'm not worry about the red by your name most of the time that's bs, i looked at your trust it looks good other then your account got hacked, i assume by your commit back. and you do live in the US ,i hate using Escrow and try not to if you live in the US. our laws are good on fraud.

Wow. Did Your account get hacked, because that is some of the .. ahem... not-the-smartest things a senior level member could say on this forum.  Cheesy

Since you're dealing with Bitcoin, you have ZERO recourse in the US even. It's digital currency, it's untraceable (Thus even the PO will not investigate a fraud claim) and unless you visit the person who scams you in person (which is considered stalking and YOU can be arrested for that), you really have zero recourse.

Small claim courts will cost you time and $$ and most of the time never collect out of state. Just FYI.
1603  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling mining hardware tips? on: March 04, 2016, 02:06:29 PM
Yeah.. Don't sell on ebay or amazon. People WILL scam you.

I just had an ahole last month buy my last S7-B6, recieve is, show it working, then next day start a claim to return for full refund.
THe dckhead fried one of the boards as he tried ot run the miner at 700MH vs 600-620max and improperly hooking it up.
Paypal effed me by giving him his money AND shipping costs back. Now I'm stuck with a 66% hashing S7.  Angry

BTW the bastard guy's name is/was : BRIAN SURGUY in Annapolis, MD..

On here, I've had mostly good dealings (other than people trying to lowball you or disappear after making a deal)ALWAYS USE A FORUM ESCROW.

I'm sure numbers have been crunched since that size rental is no cheap

I Hope for his sake as whenever he rents big we get a dry spell.. Lololol.

Maybe he's hoping for the 5n to re over after a long block, but lately it's been crappy long blocks. Hopefully March is better than the past 3 weeks.
1605  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 1% fee solo mining USA/DE servers 162 blocks solved! on: March 03, 2016, 01:58:58 PM
...

Total noob here Huh

Noob + solo will probably lead to disappointment. Try kano.is first, then after you have mined some there, come back to solo. Soloing is hard... been 110+ days on that with ~25 THs and i'm still empty handed Wink

No necessarily. I got a block with 100th in 13hours.

All about luck .

He's drunk?
He want that a6 so badly?
He throw at the wrong pool?
Idk... But it's something good to us.
:3
Not sure that's true.

Rofl. Look at Steve2s rental.  SMH.

Thank you. These long blocks are starting to give me ulcers... And all the chicken I'm eating is getting me fat.  Grin

.... **EDIT** I was going to reply in full to your claims but decided it wasn't my bag.

Yes, your support (maybe you) 'fixed' an issue with a payment you guys sent with a too-low fee, which took almost 48hour to confirm.
(Even blockchain said it was below the recommended fee.)
And by 'fix' I was told to wait it out as it's out of your hands...  Lips sealed.
Sooo... not sure you can call that a 'fix'..

Regarding your 'presence' or lack of on this forum. I understand people are busy, but considering you make your $$$ renting crypto hashing services and this is the BIGGEST and most active crypto forum , you would think you or your company would put more of an effort to keep people happy and informed, etc... Much easier to diffuse a situation in public than let it brew and more and more people chime in and it's part of a searchanble history when someone tries to google your reviews. It's basic business sense.

Either way, 'Meh' Is all I can say to your rebuttal to my points before..

1610  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 1% fee solo mining USA/DE servers 162 blocks solved! on: March 02, 2016, 12:58:21 PM

NH rates at 0.0019..it's tempting..
Btw happy birthday Ck.

It's not. You probably saw a bugged blip.
1611  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 1% fee solo mining USA/DE servers 162 blocks solved! on: March 02, 2016, 12:49:34 PM
Someone is losing their shirt on the pool renting HUGE amounts.

1613  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: AMD Radeon HD 7990 for sale... (Dual Radeon HD 7970's in ONE CARD!! on: March 01, 2016, 11:42:49 PM
Pics and info :

It's an AMD built one so the real deal, not a 3rd party company. Right now it is running undervolted @ 1115mv, hashing at about 48MH (Ethereum) using 460watts or so.

@thedreamer is your red line average above 250 TH/s?
I suspect they're over since looking at the pool stats I see they're pushing over 500THs at the moment.  Besides, 120+% diff most likely won't be the high or low for the contest.  Wouldn't be bad if it was the high, tho!!  Cheesy

Yeah usually is.

Glad I hit one though.

Still. Even if I were to win one, I'd pass on it and give it to the next best person who deserves it. I have no room no power to use more miners.  Wink
1615  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [25 PH] ** 5x AVALON6 GIVEAWAY ** Kano CKPool (kano.is) [0.9% PPLNS] US,DE,SG,JP on: March 01, 2016, 03:23:49 PM
I'll look into it tomorrow. Clearly the fix was wrong. Use a fixed diff in the meantime.

Yeah I switched to it yesterday. TY for being so 'active' here. I know others have said it before, but your great 'service' and helpfulness  is why I think everyone is here .
1616  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [25 PH] ** 5x AVALON6 GIVEAWAY ** Kano CKPool (kano.is) [0.9% PPLNS] US,DE,SG,JP on: March 01, 2016, 02:20:38 PM
The Work Diff for all of my miners is 1.042k everytime I check in the last hour.
Normaly it should be set around 400 by the pool after a few minutes for an Antminer S3  Huh
If it's not one extreme it's the other. Probably a side effect of the last change sorry. You can still alter it in the web interface.

Yeah, I think something is up with the difficulty also. My big rentals and proxiex are constantly up and down over the past two days even though I have it set to a minimum of 25 K is just weird it's never been like this before. When on vardiff, sometimes it just totally stops hashing cuz it can not find a proper difficulty.

Hmm wonder if they did that in spite of me complaining about the BS refunds that MRR seems to keep in their pocket after removing it from the underperforming rig owner and using bull excuses to not pay the renter.. I've had this happen to me as a rig owner and a renter on both sides.

Hive mind.. I have a problem.. You guys know the blockchain stuff a lot better than I,

I withdrew a bunch of funds from my MRR account back to my wallet. Usually this takes a few minutes at the most.
This time It has still not confirmed in over 30hours!

Their tech support basically said it's not their problem.. WTH do I do and what is going on!?!? Did they hose me?

Thanks in advance.

actually it may be their problem

they seem to have underpaid the fee

Size   4799 (bytes)  many little amounts make the size big

Fees   0.0004945 BTC

I do not remember the correct fee for

4799 bytes

maybe someone can chime in.

you are at medium priority see below.

Estimated Confirmation Time   Within 6 Blocks (Medium Priority)

Thanks for fidning that out. I have no clue how to do that... yet. :-)

This is what their tech support said in my ticket :

Interesting.. We paid a pretty hefty fee on that transaction as well. Unfortunately it is out of our control and at the mercy of the blockchain ;(
