Is this affecting payments? I just realized nothing from kano.is in almost 60 hours. No rush, but still.

Crap. I did not realize this.

They don't realize that leaving during a slow block is the WORST you can do, unless you're getting out of mining for a longer period.
If you leave during a slow-streak, once your 5Nd catches up and we hit blocks, you will have literally mined for nothing and lose any chance to make up for the losses.
1564  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: March 14, 2016, 12:15:48 AM
Guys, just Solo mine Ethereum. You'll earn way more.. Simple as that.

Not everyone has enough power to solo mine and lot of the people mining would take around 2 to 3 weeks or more to solo mine a block and still then it is luck needed to generate and have no guarantee. With pool or NiceHash least you have some chance to earn BTC and when prices go down convert to ETH is what I have done over last 4 to 5 days and found much better results this way.

If you're mining with such small amounts it doesn't make sense to use NiceHash even then.
To find a block in 2-3 weeks means you're mining with less than 12MH. Not even worth to fire it up for those scraps IMO.
Even then it's better to mine to ethpool.org (NOT DWARFPOOL) and get an 'expected' solo payment as your hash rate supports..

Funny how since the last long block we lost 10+PH of hashes.

It's a Pain (I'm down quite a lot myself) but have to push through this damn thing.
1567  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [35 PH] ** 5x AVALON6 GIVEAWAY ** Kano CKPool (kano.is) [0.9% PPLNS] US,DE,SG on: March 13, 2016, 10:45:12 PM
We need a block party soon these back to back long blocks are brutal.

As far a ebay i set it to only accept paypal. This prevent the charge back and always send with sig required. I have a dummy account on antpool that i set a worker for each miner i sell so when it boots up it starts mining there. I screen shot it and use incase they claim its broken.

Sold an s2 that the person used for 3 months before trying to file a claim. Denied it and refused return, claim closed.

You got lucky, i got some dickhead buying my S4 just to swap out his S4 cause his power supply died, and he filed a claim saying i shipped him a defective one. He end up winning because ebay/paypal favors buyer's more, even though i had screenshots of seeing his old settings when i fixed his broken S4 that he shipped to me by me putting in a new power supply. Ever since then, i boycotted ebay and just deal with Craigslist.

As long as their is tracking to the customer and back on returns, ebay can't do anything. They told me "Oh, but we can't really use screenshots as evidence because anyone can photoshop them", and the only reason they won was because of the ebay buyer protection crap, and ebay saying they see a return tracking delivered and is sufficient enough for them since they have no way of proving if I tamper with it or not after it got returned.

So just a heads up, you aren't just dealing with dickhead customers, but also dickheads ebay support, so the odds are against you if you do decide to go to ebay. Just from my experience... Fyi, i have 500+ ebay feedback and 100% feedback. But still lost to the dickhead customer/ebay support team.

Same here.
Buyer received it, fired it up sent me a screen shot of it hashing to his pool (bad quality but I could see it). Next day I get the money taken out of my account with NO NOTICE. I refused the return as I had screenshots of the mienr hashing away 100% until the time of shipment. EBAY did not care. He sent me the unit back damaged and had the BALLS to even send me a splitter (PCIe) back that had a broken lead and was charred on one end. FIred the miner up and it was trying to mine at 700MH vs 600MH (stock). So dbag (Brian Surguy of Annapolis, MD.)trie dto OC it, fried it, returned it, got his FULL money back, got I lost the $$$, have an S7 working at %67 (pretty good still - 2.8GH+@ 750watts), Bitmaintech is not responding to my attempts at contact  so they are still the PoS company they were last year.. Ohh yeah and Ebay is still trying to collect on 2x the selling fees, even though it was refunded, and my perfect selling record over years of selling on there(above average verified account) has one negative feedback now... Go figure.. Fing. AHOLES.

Yeah after Ebay/Paypal burned me of over $1500 And they tried to charge me 2x for the seller's fees (still ongoing with that) for the item returned to me deectively by the effing buyer, I will never deal with them again. Screw that source.
1569  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: March 13, 2016, 01:16:16 PM
Seriously guys! Fix nicehashbot..

I removed an order last night, and this morning it showed not on my list, but when I logged into nicehash.com it was STILL rented and eating up my BTC!!!
1570  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: March 13, 2016, 07:12:14 AM
I have to chime in here.

NOT to defend Nicehash as I have difficulties with their support (and lack of it) and their nicehashbot s/w just utterly sucks, BUT...

They are in this for $$$.. Not to be giving away their profits and money. What do you think EVERY company on the planet is doing? Profiting off other people.
So why is it really a surprise that they would buy low and sell high, or buy low and use for their own mining!?!? Are you seriously pissed at them for making profits!?!?!?

They have always paid lower than other rental places. Rarely they paid more due to some external reason temporarily.

It is how business works. Cool
Not that you are clueless, but you are missing the main point. Making a profit...I got no probs with that. Claiming you can mine coins but buyers can't rent the same fucking miners so they can mine coins is simply st00000pid.

Cluelessness has nothing to do with it. I missed the part where they claim you can rent ethereum hash rate from them that they pay xxx for.

That was like a Giant Hangover after the party.  Now that we're back to normal.........................let's drink again and roll in more Blocks for Super Saturday!

I like that.
1573  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: March 12, 2016, 03:36:38 PM
Another problem with nicehashbot......

It is not crashing at least for now. 24hours and no crashes! WOOHOO! FIrst time ever...

But.... Now (since this morning) it is not updating properly. Meaning I could remove an order and it will not be removed on line, and I have to exit and restart it to get a proper prices update.. Otherwise it shows the old price from whenever it stopped updating..

Is anyone actually passing this info I've been putting in here to nicehash support?
1574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 12, 2016, 01:12:40 PM
Unless they can 'fix' the BTC confirmation delays, it will NEVER be a mainstream financial option for businesses. Simple as that.

Ethereum does not have that issue... yet..Not sure it even can, once it goes PoS.

Let's have a pool restart party please..
1576  Economy / Computer hardware / WTS : Antminer S7 - Batch 6 - 4.08TH on: March 12, 2016, 06:00:17 AM
I got this back after selling it before on ebay and getting screwed by the buyer frying one of the 3 boards.

She runs perfectly with 2 boards, 3rd one is hosed. At stock 600Mh, it mines at just over 2.7TH, if you run it at 650Mh it hits just under 3TH with low error rates.
Uses only 750watts at this speed.

It has been run about 2 months until I sold it and then got screwed by the buyer (Brian Surguy, of Annapolis, MD) when he incorrectly connected cables to it and fried one board.
Of course he got his money back from eshit and gaypal..

Needless to say Bitmain is a shitty company as they have not replied to my tickets for weeks and also never refunded me the promised Batch 1 FUBAR compensation.
EIther way, I will eat the loss just so I can get rid of this POS piece of CHinese junk.

I'll start at $600 shipped in the USA (No sales to other countries...USA ONLY.
Insurance not included, if you want it, it's your dime.

I'll hook it up over the weekend and get some screenshots of the miner working as proof of function.

Locking this thread to keep the scammers, lowballers and aholes out..  Wink Cheesy

This block's gotta go.
1578  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Open frame rig on: March 11, 2016, 08:41:57 PM

I don't think it includes the risers, and the ones in the pic are ribbon which you DO NOT want.
Also most modern USB risers will not work with that design if you look carefully.

I say we keep block party Friday too. Maybe some payouts  and restarts would help...

LOLOL... See? Not just me.

DO NOT use Dwarfpool! They are already past the 51% hash rate mark!
