2501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: March 27, 2022, 09:10:45 PM
Tagoe could experiment all he wants, he just has to make sure that he is doing it the right way because Garcia is not an easy opponent to crack, he's been down before, was able to stand up and continue the fight. Garcia is a much tougher opponent now with that experience, so it should be Tagoe who should be careful, he could go for a KO but make sure he always keeps his defense so he will survive longer.

Experimenting is not necessary as that would cost him more rounds before he can make up with a good counter-strategy. Why not just do his usual, focus on good points then slowly applied it every round. No room for doing such testing and experiments.

While he is doing that, Garcia might be the first to hit him up badly. Stay serious and focused and think of all the things he did during their practice and training.

Anyways, we honestly don't need to say what should they do as these boxers are experienced ones.

What we need to wait for is how they will execute their strategy on the day of the fight.
This is gonna be a big fight as long as Tagoe will focus more on his strengths and show what he has got to gain, and not to lose. Of course, Garcia won't let that happen easily knowing he's been a tough fighter and undefeated in all his previous fights. And to think that he's been a 15-time national amateur champion at he's young age, then he must be very hard to beat. But of course, Tagoe on the other hand is also one of the top boxers nationwide and fighting with Garcia has always been his dream. So we'll see who will bring it to the next speed level.
2502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinions about simulated reality games? on: March 27, 2022, 08:18:15 PM
I was once offered to play a simulation game by a friend of mine, the game is the most realistic, he often plays Farming Simulator 17 and SimCity 4, honestly a simulation game, a little confusing for me, maybe I have never tried and played, but in the game Farming Simulator 17, I see my friend can become a successful farmer, he optimizes very well, just like in the real world, the game concept is sophisticated and perfect, I see a glimpse of it is good and worth a try.

In my opinion, simulation games are a means and a new version reality, to add new sensations and insights in the game, obviously my response simulation game is an interactive new version to be enjoyed.
It still depends on individual's preference. You may find it more lively and interactive but for some, its a lot way different compared to the real game with real players. But its more of an innovation really. I had witnessed a simulation game once or twice, and you will learn to love it more if you let yourself involved in it. Just like in the real game, the excitement is still there, but you know in the end you are still playing just a simulation, not the original players.
2503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: March 27, 2022, 07:47:06 PM
That's what I thought, and it's true, playing in a traditional physical casino should not be compared with playing in an online casino.
There is a completely different atmosphere, the air itself, the smell from the gambling tables, the audience, different sounds, and so on, all this creates completely different conditions and feelings for the players.
And an online casino is some kind of parody of a real casino, or rather, it is a simplified version for those who like to sit at home and gradually lose their cryptocurrency or fiat.   Smiley
I recommend everyone to try a real casino at least once to feel the difference. Smiley

Online casino ain't a parody, you call it innovation. Especially during the rise of pandemic, casino owners needs to find a way to continue their business even with the current health crisis.
Well, I agree that physical casinos are better than online casino based on the player experience and atmosphere. However, it will always be the users preference on which casino he's comfortable with.
Right. It's more of an innovation that is designed to give you more convenience to gamble even at the expense of your home. Especially in times of pandemic, all entertainment are now played at homes for safety and security reasons. However, its still best to play in a traditional or physical casino because you can see your real opponents and the fear and the excitement to win or lose is really there, unlike for online casino where the atmosphere is quite boring. That is why most of the gamblers still want to go out from their houses so they can watch and play in a traditional casino.
2504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess online? on: March 27, 2022, 08:56:46 AM
I am not sure if adding a reward or betting that is inclined with financial figures could be a good thing when it comes to chess. As stated by the others, if it is a game set in the computer, then cheating is most likely to happen.  And I think that real chess players and chess enthusiasts would be dismay if matches would end up being rigged due to aggressive desire to win the monetary reward.
This is why there are less platforms about playing chess online as it can be mostly manipulated and controlled by any cheater who wants to take advantage of the bet. Good thing if you only play with your friends online as your money will be safe but if you happen to play with strangers, most likely cheating will be present. IMHO, i always prefer to play chess over the board than to play it online due to some risks.
2505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender bias in gambling. on: March 27, 2022, 08:21:57 AM
What do you care about the opinions of strangers? Gender stereotypes exist (and often have a very logical basis) but if the laws in your country are not discriminatory and everyone has equal rights, then you should not care about other people's opinions. The easiest way to stop suffering from stereotypes is to stop paying attention to them.
I think there is no law that is trying to discriminate women against men, all have equal rights and opportunities. However, when it comes to gambling, its mostly dominated by men not because they have more luck, but maybe because men are more risk takers and less impulsive than women. And they are more socially anxious than women. Other than that, i don't see valid reasons why women should not engage theirselves in gambling. If they can stand on what they believe and become independent, gambling may still be a good avenue for them.
2506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which sports are you placing bets on? on: March 27, 2022, 07:59:45 AM
Besides, do you think gambler don't care which sport it is. I have seen gambler who don't have any fucking idea about cricket but he used to bet on cricket.

Mainly, basketball because that's my favorite sport and have knowledge about some basketball leagues around the globe which is a big help when choosing what bet should I take or risk.

It's usual to see a gambler like that maybe because they are following a tipster or some advice from someone with knowledge on that sport. I sometimes do that when I see good odds, especially at football and soccer on which I'm not familiar with the league.

I treat it as a risky bet but what if I won that bet.
I get to see basketball more often so i start learning it and betting it eventually. I don't do betting in other sports actually especially if its not my interest and i don't have any knowledge about it. However, i always hear a lot of people bet on the sports they are not really into but maybe because of gambling addiction, even if you know the odds are totally against you and you may lose everything. Also, having some friends who are good to it and they usually give you advices on how to win from your bet.
2507  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading journals worth it? on: March 26, 2022, 10:17:21 PM
Quote
Putting these activities down in a journal does it helps a trader to make a better decision?

A trading journal can't always help a trader to make better decisions, but it can actually stop the trader from making bad decisions.Making less bad decisions and less mistakes, rather than focusing on perfection(good decisions) is definitely a form of self-improvement.Nobody is perfect.
I've heard stories about Harvard students being required to maintain a journal.
Maintaining a journal can help you become more disciplined and discipline is a really important skill, when it comes to trading.Actually,it's not just trading.Having discipline and consistency is the key of success in every aspect of life.

Having a trading journal is not a guarantee that you will never lose anymore. Losses are always inevitable but it will help you minimize your losses through using your journal as its very effective on assessing your trading performance. Focus more on the things that creates progress on your trading performance and stay away on the things that keeps you repeating your mistakes. Later on, you will realize that keeping a trading journal is worth it because you are already seeing consistency in making profits in trading.

2508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we going to see a new altcoin boom soon on: March 26, 2022, 09:55:40 PM
Most of the market is beginning to pick up in recent times and altcoin look left behind in the recent market boom.

What are we going to expect from the altcoin market with this new market boom will altcoin see a new phase in the market or Bitcoin will continue with the market trend?

False flag.  I think alts are in for a longterm bear here.  They .iggt have went up a little but that can be wiped out with one bad day.  Best bet is to just keep cost averaging into bitcoin and wait for a sustained increase in alts which will signal another bull season.  Think we got the entire 2022 and maybe 2023 to get through.  Stack til halving.
The market is still unpredictable for most of the altcoins if they will start to recover or will always stay in a low value. This is why we need not to focus on what is less profitable but focus more on accumulating bitcoin as its the only thing that gives high assurance that we will still be profitable in a very unpredictable market. However, if bitcoin reaches its new ATH in the next months, established altcoins will probably be influenced and will also create positive value, except for those shitcoins as they will never grow because they have no real use cases that will gain demands for them.
2509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto wealth can only be built in bear market on: March 26, 2022, 09:39:17 PM
Wealth is created during the bear market not in bull market, the question now is are we still in bull market or bear market? We can't expect crypto market to crash instantly if bear is going to happen it will be a gradual process so what is your take on this? Should newbies wait or buy coins right now?
This is a hard lesson for anyone here, I myself have the wrong mentally before, but when I learned to save and accumulate during bear market and then sold during peak at bull run, I understand how part of the market works.

For newbies it will be hard to have this kind of mindset, but as I have said, experience is the best teacher so better go through it and have first hand knowledge.
You will never learn lessons in crypto unless you start to mess around and end up losing your capital. That's where you will start to understand how the crypto market works.

This should be the right mindset to build our wealth in crypto by buying more coins when the market is bearish and sell them when the market is bullish. But people hardly understand it so they start buying when there is bulls and when the prices fall down gradually, they become panic and turned out selling their coins. In the end, they lose all what they have and just wasted their time and money just because of a wrong mindset. But everything is possible in crypto. Second chances are always a good time to start maximizing the profits and minimize the losses by correcting your past mistakes and learned from them.
2510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meet Bitcoin Embassy Bar, a Bitcoin themed bar in Mexico on: March 26, 2022, 09:17:53 PM
Fascinating!

If such a themed bar was opened up in my Neighborhood or town, it would be my favorite hangout. The more Bitcoin and its use cases become common among locals, the more ordinary people will start using it as an alternative to payments and even store of value in the long term.
This is one way to speed up the adoption of bitcoin. Having a bar that is where bitcoin enthusiasts got to meet and learn new things about bitcoin while chillin' around is indeed very cool and amazing. Definitely, this type of bar will soon to attract newcomers and probably start to learn about bitcoin and gain ideas how to use it as a currency and a good investment. I would love to hang out in this type of bar whenever it will be opening branches nationwide.
2511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Trading Strategy on: March 26, 2022, 08:56:32 PM
..that's why there is stop loss/targets because it will save you to maximize your profits and minimize your loss.
It's a good point to always set a stop loss or target in every trader so that they will know about their loss, if your strategy will not work at once or twice, don't let it will happen next, find another one and try.  It seems to sound like trial and error but through this error, you should learn about it and apply it in the next session and avoid not will happening again.

I tend to agree with others there's no accurate trading strategies, all of them are speculating the market try to draw a conclusion which is only predicting the possible outcome but in fact, it's unpredctable and no really knows what will happen next.
All strategies are still subject for trial and error and if they work out, that's the time that we will start developing them. But even how good a strategy is, it won't be perfect and it won't works forever. You should always find another strategy that will suit on you and works on you when you are seeing that your old strategy is not profiting anymore. However, setting a stop loss is more advised every time we trade so that we know when to stop when we are experiencing consistent losses in trading. Minimizing our loss and maximizing our profits instead.
2512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 26, 2022, 08:54:07 AM

Even though the Lakers are playing like this right now, lets not forget that they still have Davis that can play maybe in the playoffs ............
I will stop you there. My worry now is what if they cannot make it to the playoffs?

For sure with their ranking, they might be in the play-in tournament, but what if they'll fall again?
I mean, if they want to be in the playoffs, maybe they should start winning now consistently.
The last games were a bit disappointment as Frank Vogel said but with  Lebron and Davis around, he still hopes for progress within the last month of the competition. The probability for Los Angeles Lakers to make it to playoffs is still 50-50 and this means that the team should exert more efforts to win the next games even pulling a miracle out from a single hat.
2513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becoming a Bounty Manager on: March 25, 2022, 09:51:05 PM
Popular manager : Yes
If you not popular : No

Until now, popular manager like Hhampuzz with high service quality still can be hired from the project. So, the demands still also good for people who have reputation and popular in here. If you start from zero right now, is gonna be hard for you and most the time will only offering cheap price because zero portfolio.

Thinking about being a BM? I suggest not.
Well, if you can be popular and reputable like Hhampuzz or Yahoo, then why not?  But being a bounty manager is certainly a hard and tough task. You can be an organized manager at first, but later on you start to panic when your team members are raising problems about the project you are working, so it should not be. This is the reason why project owner or developers always chose bounty managers who have a lot of successful experiences in managing a bounty because the job is really not easy. And most of them are highly paid in bitcoin because of their hard work and determination to make the campaign ends up a successful one.
2514  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear vs Bull : The Beauty Of Cryptocurrency on: March 25, 2022, 09:26:45 PM
there's actually no loss of money in crypto currencies, be it in a bull market or bear market
As long as you do not sell your coins at a low price and keep your coins, you can't say a total loss because you still have the opportunity to sell the coins at the highest price later. Yes, it depends on how we respond to the bull and bear markets.

If you can take advantage of the market situation, you will be able to adapt to the situation and make a profit. Yes, patience is the key to trading and not everyone can do it.
The crypto market will not create a steady move, it will always go up or down, or sideways. But the best thing here is in every market condition, it always bring opportunities to buy or sell. Buy when the market is bearish, sell when its bullish. So you have nothing to lose here if you can take advantage in every market's condition. That is, if people can patiently hold their coins while the market continue to crash. Otherwise, they will start to panic once the market value keeps on falling that end up selling their coins at a loss. Success mostly comes to those people who really know how to wait. If you can't be patient, then you have no reason to stay in this type of market.
2515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can we do to speed up Bitcoin mass adoption? on: March 25, 2022, 08:57:12 PM
Education for the people is key. It helps them to know lies from governments, central banks about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. It helps them to realize value of Bitcoin and its role in the world for people freedom and prosperity in finance.

Without knowledge, understanding on Bitcoin and experience in the market, with Bitcoin wallet, address, transactions, people will never actually understand what Bitcoin is by themselves.

More education, better support, more adoption, brighter future, higher price.
I think everyone has heard about bitcoin, but they don't know how valuable it is, and are not aware that it can be a good currency and a good investment at the same time. So education is still highly needed so that the people will be fully aware about it. And once the government will legalize and accept bitcoin as an alternative to fiat, they can start to promote and speed up its adoption through using it regularly by simply buying and selling with bitcoin, and using it to trade anytime anywhere. And this will happen eventually if the government will fully regulate it.
2516  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tradig Course - Beginner on: March 24, 2022, 09:19:05 PM
My comment about studying, researching and learning.

I believe most people doing badly at trading is less to do with knowledge and more to do with a complete misunderstanding of their chances and their own ability to make discipline and basic rules. You can read 100 books and subscribe to 100 channels and listen to experts all day but if you do not have discipline and an awareness that you are more likely to lose than to win,,, then you chase and chase and lie to yourself until you are left with nothing.

I should know this as have been there before,,,

So make sure you know what the deal is, and what your objective are first, and what is most likely to happen to you. Then go in.
Being knowledgeable is always an edge, but that alone will never make you a successful trader. Experience will always matter the most. And the more you engage yourself to a lot of trading experiences, skills and strategies will gradually develop. Not only that, awareness and discipline will always follow through along with the right attitude in trading.
2517  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: March 24, 2022, 08:49:16 PM
Fud will always be there and panics will happen at most times due to the nature of the new investors and they'll never be gone.

The recovery has always been too quick because that's the normal posture of bitcoin whenever it goes down. We're good if we're not panicking when there are bad news and sudden corrections.

That's how we should react and worry not with what others feel. Because no matter what the FUD is, we get used to it or not, the market has always been unpredictable.
FUD will always be inevitable which makes the market more unpredictable, but the good thing is people have matured and smart enough to conquer it. Some may still panic and end up losing, but most likely the people are already used to it and they stay calm and patient despite all the FUDs happening.

This is what the market is all about. Either we want it or not, the best solution is to live with it and get used to it.
2518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 23, 2022, 09:44:33 PM
Elon Musk won't sell his bitcoins, he tweeted this and we see no big movement in the market. There was a time when his tweets had big effects on the market. This guy is losing his value by promoting Dogecoin.

Of course he won't sell his Bitcoin (even though he criticized Bitcoin's high-energy consumption). He's not that stupid. I think he will try to "pump" Bitcoin's price over Twitter just like he did with Dogecoin since the beginning of 2021. But his efforts will ultimately fail as people are already sick and tired of him.

To say the least, Elon Musk is just "a needle in a haystack". There are greater "forces" on the market which greatly determine Bitcoin's price. It doesn't really matter what one person says or thinks about Bitcoin, since crypto/Blockchain tech is all about decentralization. Elon Musk, just like all the other whales, are holding Bitcoin with the hopes of becoming richer in the long term. Nothing new to see here really. I'd say we should focus on what matters most which is financial inclusion to anyone, anywhere in the world. As long as Bitcoin fulfills its purpose, nothing else matters. Just my opinion Smiley
Elon will not influence the market anymore. If he don't want to sell his bitcoin, maybe he's also waiting just like us for bitcoin price to reach its new heights. He knows the value of bitcoin more than dogecoin that's why he is hodling it till now. But who really cares about Elon? Bitcoin will continue to pump even without his tweet. People have learned already and won't ever trust again on big whales like him.
2519  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting more skills in trading on: March 23, 2022, 08:30:27 AM
Your technical aspect is good but I suggest you don't focus too much on it, you can try also to understand the fundamental aspect and how we combined these two analysis into a better result.  There are circumstances in that FA was more accurate than the TA, you should also look at that matter for your trading activity.

Trading skills, the best result is to have a frequent experience which in every trading experience you can learn on it and avoid those mistakes that will not happen in the future.  I hate people who say, training is very easy to make a profit from, they seems misleading newbies with that information they heard.  Trading need to spend your precious time just to learn and also extend your patient.
Success in trading does not only determined through learning its technical and fundamental factors. Practical application is more vital. However, you should always start from learning the basics and how to be good particularly in analyzing the market patterns or trends because that will guide you when to take the best entry and best exit in trading. And when you think you have gained good knowledge, then its time for you to develop and enhance your skills and strategies. Experience will serve as your training. The more often you trade, the more losses you encounter, the bigger the chances you'll become a good trader as long as you always learn from your different experiences.
2520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 20, 2022, 08:45:30 PM

Westbrook can't be as effective as he was before because that depends on his teammates and the coaching staff, but we cannot deny that Westbrook is still capable despite the fact that he is an awful shooter. Maybe he is not comfortable with the kind of play the Lakers have for him and they aren't adjusting because until now we are still seeing him struggling and the Lakers as a team.

He's not really fit for any team right now because after they saw his performance with the Lakers nowadays, they hesitate to acquire him because they might be jeopardizing their team as well if they do that. Lebron let him in thinking that he might change his game if he is with him but guess what? it turns out that it becomes worst and he is the reason why the Lakers are struggling despite they still have Lebron and Davis playing with them. They are afraid to rest him out because he is a so-called star player as well, but his star is not shining lately though.
Westbrook may be experiencing quite hard today as he did not do well from his latest game but he could be as good as how he was before after some time. Its just a sort of adjustment and the moment he can regain his confidence with his Lakers team, he can be once again an NBA MVP way back 2017 season. He looked like his vintage self against the team nowadays but if he can be back to himself until the postseason, that way he's narrative will be changed.
