This is bullish, thanks for this find! nice, but what time is it? This is bullshit, thanks for this find! nice, but what time is it? Can you make calls, play games, or check Bitcoin prices with it? No, but you have to take it off to be able to undress. This watch is BIG, like a Faberge Egg for wrists. Other fuckinrich people spend a million on wealth. To each his own...

Reasoned piece in NYM: https://nymag.com/intelligencer/amp/2021/01/why-is-bitcoin-making-new-all-time-highs.html?__twitter_impression=trueKey quotes: The entrepreneurs working to make cryptocurrency easier to acquire, hold, and transact with have been working diligently to improve this financial plumbing in anticipation of a full-scale monetization event. Today, it seems that this moment may be upon us.
The first time, your interest may be piqued, but you are wary of buying into something that looks like a bubble. The second time, you realize that what you mistook for a bubble was in fact a cyclical process in a longer-term trend.
Personally, I think the story is far from done and that this revolutionary digital asset still has a long way to run.
Good stuff. Don’t sell cheap ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Can't wait to read the MSM headlines 20 years from now: "Bitcoin still in a 30 year bubble that's about to burst""Bitcoin plunges 20% to just under $3,000,000 within minutes, now in a bear market""Peter Schiff says Bitcoin going to zero, buy gold""Ethereum 4.0 today over $2.000! New ATH!" ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Bean counters at Boeing got away with a $2.5B slap on the wrist for the 737 MAC debacle. Cost of doing business.
And I'd be willing to bet the scumbag that made that decision got a golden parachute and that is why this keeps happening. those running things never have to pay the piper, all the rest of us do. The current and former employees, many of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the continuing investigations, said that after the first crash, they were stunned to discover MCAS relied on a single sensor.
“That’s nuts,” said an engineer who helped design MCAS.
“I’m shocked,” said a safety analyst who scrutinized it.
“To me, it seems like somebody didn’t understand what they were doing,” said an engineer who assessed the system’s sensors. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/01/business/boeing-737-max-crash.htmlYou can bypass the paywall with ublock origin addon. There were more than one instance/people at various design and implementation stages that would have become aware of that. Seems like management or whoever suppressed critical thinking on relying on a single sensor for MCAS. Also, in extreme test routines the problem would have already appeared in the simulator. Boeing looking like amateurs now.

Who coined the "pump for ants" phrase? Was it Bob?
This is so cool.
Yes, i think so. I didn't find the original post, but afair he posted a message in colored caps (purple or blue), big font size over two lines: WHAT IS THIS? A PUMP FOR ANTS?
several months ago. I can remember it quite clear because it was a "visual" kind of post.

buying 0.007 BTC ($250) seems a bit strange...
I'm a gay dude sent here from Planet Anus, to make everyone on Planet Earth homosexual, ushering in the Age of Aquarius. How DARE YOU talk to me about strange. If I had your corn I wouldn't mind being a degerate, filthy, COVID-infected gay (can I be Bi?), rusty pipe included. Yes, I admit it, I'm a BTC whore, I'd do anything for corn. rusty pipe for corn? i had to read it twice, man. looks like an offer. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Bitcoin sleepy is usually good.

So, today, I did some degenerate sat stacking. Feelin' pretty decent. Looks like I'm gonna get filled @ $35,000 soon, at this rate. Orders placed all the way down to $33k. 01/16/2021 XX:XX:XX BTCUSD Buy Limit $35,500.00 USD 0.00704225 BTC $250.00 USD Filled 01/16/2021 XX:XX:XX BTCUSD Buy Limit $36,000.00 USD 0.00694444 BTC $250.00 USD Filled 01/16/2021 XX:XX:XX BTCUSD Buy Limit $36,500.00 USD 0.00684931 BTC $250.00 USD Filled 01/15/2021 XX:XX:XX BTCUSD Buy Limit $35,500.00 USD 0.00704225 BTC $250.00 USD Filled 01/15/2021 XX:XX:XX BTCUSD Buy Limit $36,000.00 USD 0.00694444 BTC $250.00 USD Filled 01/15/2021 XX:XX:XX BTCUSD Buy Limit $36,500.00 USD 0.00684931 BTC $250.00 USD Filled
Lots of deja vu doing this stuff. Don't like hitting targets more than 3x Bob, it's good that you're stacking sats, actually I should be doing the same, it's just that I can't be bothered with the whole process of wiring the fiat and waiting for it to arrive at the exchange, etc., etc. I wonder though. With so many coins you have (in the big hundreds or more, I'm sure), what's the point of buying $250 worth of BTC? Is this just for fun/entertainment purposes? Because, even when Bitcoin goes 10x (and it will), your $250 (or $1250) will become $2500 ($12,500). Just peanuts compared to the coins you have. Not trying to criticize you or anything, just to get your point of view. Why not buy $100,000 (or more) worth of BTC straight away right now? I believe you must have that kind of fiat. That would be a move that would fit your stash and wealth level. $250 is just dust for you, isn't it? On the other hand, "every little helps", and maybe we should all be doing that, no matter how large or small the amount. In fact, your post is seriously tempting me to wire a few $$$$ to buy more corn... Sorry for getting a little personal, just being curious... You're underestimating Bawb... or not following closely enough. He's been DCAing for quite a time already and don't let these tiny $250 buys confuse you. For example $250 x10 is $2500 and according to your calculations above if (when) BTC goes 10x $2500 will be $25000 which is not quite peanuts anymore. I wasn't counting but I guess Bawb bought much more than $250 x10 this time. Yes, I see your point, but it's all relative. When his $250 x10 = $2500 becomes $25,000, his stash could be worth several hundred million dollars. What's $25,000 compared to that? In any case, I do believe we should convert any spare fiat we have to BTC, however small it may be. It's just that, when one has hundreds or thousands of BTC, buying 0.007 BTC ($250) seems a bit strange... My two cents on this: What is the purpose of "play money" when you don't play with it? EDIT: That DCA game even has some potential for a bitcointalk game as well: Bawb may give out a lil price in BTC to the winner who is guessing the future date when his strategy buys him at least one whole Bitcoin. But i doubt he would, because of OpSec? Anyway, the idea is nice, i think.

Bitcoin got really boring now that we're rich.
Not for everyone ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Not everyone is rich already. Maybe time for the riches to take some filthy fiat off the table? Maybe Bitcoin is just reflecting a sentiment of the rich at the time? (Please don't mind if you were joking and i didn't get it)

Some Titter analysts calling the top now. I am still bullish and stay by the predictions of the tarot lady. #hodl
Local top or what? Still looking pretty damned bullish and ongoing UPpity price pressures to me - especially we keep getting back to the top of the range... so a little strange to either be calling the top or hopening for the top, given the total situation and context that we seem to be in. I will concede that even the stock to flow model and the four year fractal... and possibly even the various exponential s-curve adoption models seems to show that the current BTC price is a wee bit ahead of itself, but so fucking what? Since when has king daddy conformed with chartalism expectations? Damn right. Looks like Titter folks are in a rush, expecting BTC upswing to accelerate. If no acceleration -> fail. And this perfectly fits the shitcoin society, where these fast pumps happen on a regular basis (followed by huge dumps, as we know). We were in fact accelerating a bit too much, so things have to settle down a bit, and this is something the shitters don't commonly know. I already bought (near) the dip a few days ago and i'm satisfied, because most of that value from shitcoin pumps will flow back at Bitcoin soonish, possibly also later. Do we really care? ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) EDIT: I was up to spam WO with a nice alpine panorama pic from the drone, so i got out late afternoon to let the thing take off from an elevated spot between mountains. Almost deep freezing my toes, i went home to check the results, where i found the memory card lying on the shelf ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) So no landscape spam from me today...

Doesn't matter. Not their keys. As long as this helps Bitcoin spread, it's good for us all. Those who understand will choose to keep the keys. The others can let companies take care of them.
Edit: Price picking up nicely (again). Let's hope this is the last rising edge to $40k, leaving it permanently behind, and climbing slowly and steadily towards 6-digit territory.
Exactly ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I have https://aggr.trade/ open, audio on. Maybe we'll have to wait until Jan 20th for more direct price action?

In light of the SEC’s recent action agaist Ripple Labs, Inc., trading in XRP will be suspended on January 19, 2021. Your ability to deposit and withdraw XRP will not be affected.
So long, old fart!

Wait... Crypto custody is a case of not-your-keys, right? and like it or not it is how mass adoption is going to occur. My thoughts are governments will start to prevent you from holding coins in your own wallets and buy 'token' btc from companies like goldman's sachs. Nah, but KYC will be standard. No need to disrupt or ban tax paying companies, just make them more "convenient" for them. Give & take. Just my two cents.

Wait... Crypto custody is a case of not-your-keys, right? We have to dig deeper than that... Goldman Sachs pro-bitcoin? Bullish! indeed. The whole statement is also pro-Coinbase. Very clever not to interfere with existing players, but looking for their own piece of the cake.

Guys, so if I wanted to be a blockchain developer, where I should start? i would love to study and why not become a blockchain dev because I know it will help me in the future, but I don't have any good sources where I can start, any help! thanks.
Look for a bank or government working on blockchain, not Bitcoin. They love that shit. Also, you won't have to build a blockchain. Learn Oracle. I really hate oracle and I don't understand why someone is paying for that crap. but hey, they support blockchain now. sweet, centralized blockchain tables: https://www.oracle.com/blockchain/OMG oracle still exists?! Thought it would get merged with MySQL into a new product. Do they still make this bloated enterprise management software? Imo a dinosaur, just like ibm's DB2.

Maybe we should spent a few Cents everybody to get a new forum software? It became a pain in the ass on mobile I dont know why. İf you Zoom in then it's over. Cant Zoom out anymore unless ı close the tab and open the site new. İphone xs and Google Chrome here...
Btw. WRECKED! nice recovery so far.
God, i started to hate Chrome on mobile devices for the increasing shit it did all the time. Switched to firefox, problems gone. Just refreshing only via menu sucks, swiping down was more convenient (and almost standard). History repeats itself. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FwBafnVz.jpg&t=663&c=3TTNHgYCJZYh8Q) Saw about the same using 2016/17 as comparison, as well as 2013. Both did fit too, you know what happend later. Pro Tip: ATHWe tend to see what we want to see. Just hodl.

No bitcoin, wrong direction, make a U turn
Zoooooom ouuuuut ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I know, it does look much better. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FXBQpbC6.png&t=663&c=ewinT_hLXvQDAw) But still who is selling at these prices, when knowing 2021 is just getting started Nah, THIS is zoomed out ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I guess much of the volume is going into shitcoin pumps. Then they get dumped on the FOMO shitcoiners and back into BTC again.
