2521  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: December 02, 2015, 09:42:02 AM
Profitwise, bitcoin. It is more volatile, so if you time it right, it's more profitable. Most purple think it is a +EV. If you want to play it safe, golf but I can't promise you'll make profit.
2522  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: December 02, 2015, 09:34:14 AM
How about riding the price waves of bitcoin? I've done it a few times. It's actually quite profitable of you read up and understand how the economy works.
2523  Economy / Economics / Re: The economic model behind Bitcoin is flawed on: December 02, 2015, 09:28:23 AM
What if (yes, I said if) the satoshi becomes worth more than $10 each? How will we buy cheap 1-dollar goods? Will the bitcoin community decide to use a smaller denomination of bitcoin?
2524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin XT - Officially #REKT (also goes for BIP101 fraud) on: December 01, 2015, 11:55:48 PM
XT was never going to work. The spirit of bitcoin lives within. XT Cannot exist when everyone has tasted the wonders of p2p.

2525  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: http://www.shuffle-shuffle.in Blatant scam? on: December 01, 2015, 08:25:50 PM
Well seems like a forum, which post/thread are you referring to exactly?

Eh, I'm questioning the entire forum... The whole thing seems fabricated to scam big time with the built in escrow system.
Hmm well , unwilling to register there(and seems you can only view posts after registering) , doesn't seem like a known site , I'd advise you to keep away.

Yeah that was what I was thinking. There is no SEO for the site... There is no result when you search of shuffle-shuffle.in on google  Sad
2526  Economy / Gambling / Re: FastDice.com LAUNCHED | Fast Rolls | Fast Deposits | Fast Wins |Daily Happy Hour on: December 01, 2015, 08:15:05 AM
Interesting site. TBH though deposit speed is the same as any other site. Same with the speed which the rolls are processed. People will just continue to visit PD or some other site.

Played around with it, good interface. At least it's up all day Wink
2527  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: December 01, 2015, 08:10:41 AM
I do actually. I consider myself lucky to own a part of the supply of bitcoins and a part of history Wink

2529  Economy / Scam Accusations / http://www.shuffle-shuffle.in Blatant scam? on: December 01, 2015, 08:05:06 AM
Came across this on a darknet market where someone was selling their accounts. The website itself is really dodgy and all the exchanges are usually 200+ BTC with almost impossible to achieve profits... The concept itself was very interesting although people could easily tumble their coins elsewhere and paying such a high amount of fee is very questionable.

I kind of fell for it at first but on a second look I thought it was a scam.

What do you guys think?

2530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to choose to put 5 BTC into 1 BTC investment, what would that be? on: December 01, 2015, 07:53:12 AM
I would choose to hold onto that bitcoin. I mean bitcoins itself appreciate in value over time as well. I believe in bitcoin and I believe that HOLDing is the best way to earn some retirement savings Smiley
2531  Economy / Reputation / Re: negaive trust ratings and loans on: November 16, 2015, 06:22:40 AM
You shouldn't be taking out loans just for the trust ratings. Obviously that sounds like you're going to build up your reputation and scam someone in the end. A purpose of a loan isn't to build a good credit history but instead it's to fulfil your essential needs.

Hope this helps
2532  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice fucked me over :-/ on: November 16, 2015, 06:19:27 AM
lol u loaned candy

Loaning to candy is like the worst decision you can make. Candystripes is a known scammer and spammer of this community.
2533  Economy / Digital goods / Re: AMAZON.COM Gift cards at 75% - Huge Discount - Buy Anything on: November 16, 2015, 06:18:13 AM
Hi,

Can you provide the receipts for the gift cards? Where did the cards originate from? Thanks
2534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Advice? on: November 16, 2015, 06:15:53 AM
I think rather than valuing your assets in USD, instead you should value it in bitcoins. We all know that the price of it is going to go up in the long term so if you keep those bitcoins in your possession, there's no need to worry.

Also beware of those pump & dump schemes as they are extremely bad for your portfolio. Good luck.
2535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: November 16, 2015, 06:12:48 AM
I don't think I am that greedy. I play dice very rarely and sometimes roulette, and I'm not expecting anything back. I hope for the best and expect the worst. You just can't make a living off gambling.
2536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: November 15, 2015, 11:33:57 PM
"Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible!"

"Gambling is not profitable 90% of the time! It is possible!"

Yes, of course it is profitable. But most of the time it is NOT.
2537  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: November 15, 2015, 11:32:24 PM
I wouldn't technically consider Bitcoin as a global currency, as it still isn't very widely known. Countries tend to like to have total control of their coin, and since Bitcoin is a P2P currency, their only kind of control is having a huge share of the 21 million coins. I really don't think it will become a global currency, as it is quite an unstable little thing.
2538  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: November 13, 2015, 11:59:46 PM
I don't think the millionaires realise the potential of BTC. Oh well, it's at their loss.
2539  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.08 Btc Loan on: November 13, 2015, 11:48:12 PM
Why is the interest rate for 7 days lower than 24 hours? I'm confused.
