1961  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BITCONNECT - Connecting Every Bitcoin User on: March 27, 2016, 07:33:48 PM
The site looks amazing. It's an all-in-one, basically.

Do you have any devs that are trusted within this community and can vouch for you? Smiley
1962  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Become a C.A.T. Reseller! -!!!-> 0.1฿ <-!!!- for you for any Referral. on: March 27, 2016, 07:30:15 PM
I'm interested. Is there a specific thread I need to link them to? Because just telling them to PM you isn't very encouraging...
1963  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [PRE-ANN] BetOnCrypto - The cryptocurrency gambling game. on: March 27, 2016, 07:27:01 PM
Isn't what you're proposing... Another secondstrade? I'm a regular bitcoin better on seconddstrade, and have made alot of money, so I'm interested in using your site.
1964  Economy / Securities / Re: Invest in Apple with Bitcoin! on: March 27, 2016, 07:24:22 PM
Apple to be honest isn't doing very well at the moment, and really unless they come up with something other than a multi-use port, they're gonna stay doing badly.
1965  Economy / Service Discussion / Good news! The Case Hardware Wallet is now in stock again! on: March 27, 2016, 07:19:51 PM
Hey guys, since I started investing and using high amounts of bitcoin, I've been looking for ways to store them. I recently purchased a Ledger wallet, which works great for me.

But one hardware wallet that I was greatly disappointed to see that was sold out, and that I would have bought, was the case wallet. But now they're in stock again! Cheesy

1966  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: To blockchain.info wallet users, Be aware of phishing sites on: March 27, 2016, 07:15:04 PM
I don't see why people are still using online wallets these days. The only one that actually has a use is coinbase, as they pay your fees Grin

I currently use a Ledger wallet, but I've just ordered a case.
1967  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain Beta Wallet ! Have Anyone Tried? on: March 27, 2016, 07:11:27 PM
Well looks like this shit has hit me too... I downloaded the IOS version and linked the device with my browser wallet... shortly after it prompted me to update to v3 on my mobile and i did. Now, the browser version has changed into beta as well and i see there's no way to sign address, or import/ export them... bollocks.

That was the exact reason I bought a Ledger wallet.

I switched, and found the interface heavenly. But that's missed out on all the key features. How the hell do you leave out message signing, importing private keys, etc?!

You can't even reverse to the legacy wallet without making a totally new account...
1968  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: I have 5 bitcoin and its stuck on blockchain wallet : ( on: March 27, 2016, 07:06:51 PM
Didn't you save the mnemonic they provided you with? If not, that was a really dumb thing to do.

That's why you use Authy or G-auth, they work without an internet connection.
1969  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [List] Bitcoin Advertising Networks on: March 27, 2016, 09:54:07 AM

1970  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Tixie? A bitcoin ticker/alarm clock? on: March 27, 2016, 09:48:44 AM
Sjnce no one seem to be have a review to say about tixie since maybe twy have not yet own one, I have not came across tixie but you might find this review I found on google helpful if you are wondering about it's features: http://digitalmoneytimes.com/meet-tixie-the-sleek-physical-bitcoin-price-ticker/

I've been told that they went scam over their indiegogo campaign, as they didn't reach their goal. What if I purchased from them directly?
1971  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: EasyBalance : Get balance of list of bitcoin addresses on: March 27, 2016, 08:55:52 AM
Could you implement the option to include "all other addresses of this wallet"

Basically, a wallet can have infinite addresses tied to it. If you guys can track every address of each wallet and get the balance of all the addresses in that wallet, that would be great. I'll update you with the site I know that tells you this.

EDIT: Here it is! https://www.walletexplorer.com/
1972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the most profitable type of gambling? on: March 27, 2016, 08:48:30 AM
Dice, and you give yourself 0.01 odds. If you win, you make a motherlode. If you lose, sux to be you, I guess. I made 0.2 for betting dust.
1973  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: coinsx2 on: March 27, 2016, 08:47:00 AM

It's funny how the OP has soooo much red trust... He might almost catch up to TradeFortress or Master-P Grin
1975  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: |CoinDuo| ◈Paying ◈Fresh ◈Promotion | Double your Bitcoin in just 48 hours! on: March 27, 2016, 08:20:19 AM
How bout you guys prove that you're ACTUALLY paying?

Any transactions proved by people that AREN'T OP?

Highly obvious scam.
1976  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What does "ban node for X time" do? on: March 27, 2016, 03:51:56 AM
I don't want to support troll hardfork attempts like Classic, should banning every time I connect to Classic nodes help Core in some way?

After the fork they will most likely get banned as soon as they try to relay blocks over 1 MB to you (someone that actually read the code please correct me if needed).

So Shorena, they may be banned by pereira4, but is that not the point at which the Bitcoin network splits in two, as all the classic nodes accept the larger block and the core nodes are still looking for the next block?

The network is split with the fork, yes. One side is accepting blocks over 1 MB size (up to 2 MB) while the other side is rejecting these blocks as invalid and will ban nodes that consistantly send invalid blocks. Its most likely not an easy cut, but more like a messy tear as some blocks (those smaller than 1 MB) will still be valid on both sides. Due to the 750/1000 blocks needed for activation and the grace period it is however unlikely that there will many core nodes left afterwards.

Is it possible to currently run a node and broadcast a 2MB block? Will you get banned? Or is it even possible?
1977  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Core or Classic? on: March 27, 2016, 03:44:02 AM
With SegWit being a totally plausible solution (a temporary solution, mind you), I think sticking with core will be the best.

Slush wrote an interesting piece on the topic:
https://medium.com/@slush/contentious-blocksize-wars-6fd7c07f9d90

Here's the most cited quote from there, worth the read to see what he means.

Quote
I’m for raising blocksize limit (maybe even removing it completely). Still, at this moment, I’m with Core Devs.

If only the Core devs implemented SegWit and a blocksize increase together... Grin

1978  Economy / Goods / Re: How much would you pay for this? on: March 27, 2016, 03:21:49 AM
To be honest, I would barely pay a dollar for that. In my country, labor is very expensive, so that ~90 cent profit margin is tiny for the time it would take to braid that.
1979  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the best trusted website to earn btc? on: March 26, 2016, 06:14:48 AM
Bitcontalk? Signature campaigns can get you a clean 15 bucks a week with the satisfaction of speaking your mind about simple bitcoin topics.
1980  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BEGINERS: Some Useful Links To Buy bitcoin for the first time! on: March 26, 2016, 06:12:03 AM
There's a typo in the subject title. You spelt Beginner wrong.

EDIT - If you also have some other sort of altcoin and want to convert them into bitcoin, or vice versa, you can use shapeshift.io
