2021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What "facts" you heard about Bitcoin is not true? on: March 17, 2016, 11:59:13 AM
Sending a transaction to yourself (A double-spend) will duplicate your bitcoins. Hilarious.

I actually fell for that once, but then again, it ended up week. I started bitcoining simply because I wanted to duplicate my money.
2022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain size - problem ? on: March 17, 2016, 11:57:04 AM
A higher blocksize ceiling will cause extra strain on nodes if it is implemented. Sure, running a node doesn't take up much, but it will still try your hardware more intensely. Why not SegWit? Grin
2023  Economy / Services / Re: CHEAP virtual private servers (vps) on: March 17, 2016, 11:52:40 AM
I'm interested, but I want to know if you have any proof or any solid assurance that you won't shut down your servers and leave after you make a certain amount of money.
2024  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: bitsrapid.com have you try it? on: March 17, 2016, 10:43:20 AM
It's a ponzi site. The only mining sites I would trust is nicehash and hashocean, and bit-x when it still provided this service.
2025  Other / Meta / Re: What is a "Potential" Member/Sr. Member etc.? on: March 16, 2016, 10:34:39 PM
Exactly what it is. It has the potential activity of a full/senior member, but the post count isnt high enough yet. Each post will be credited an activity point, from your potential activity count.
2026  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Wirex- Bitcoin Debit Card | Buy Bitcoin | Mobile Banking | Send Remittances on: March 16, 2016, 10:29:45 PM
You guys should provide a cheap virtual debit card, much like Spectrocoin's, because you guys look extremely professional and I think you guys might be able to improve on theirs.
2027  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Tenfold your Bitcoins - http://www.bitcoin10x.com/ on: March 16, 2016, 07:42:16 AM
OK. I swear I've seen this OP paragraph before. Oh wait... How original! Find some amazing strategy to multiply your coins (be it a bot, or a "flaw").

Hey, nice logo. /s
2028  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [Suspicious link removed] - double your btc in second! [HOT] i have trick! on: March 16, 2016, 07:37:30 AM
OMG LOL! HAHAHA. Nice try scammer. You can create a doubler, but you can't understand posting privileges. I think you bought the script for the site, too.
2029  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] $10 PAYPAL W/ BTC {TRUSTED MEMBERS ONLY} on: March 16, 2016, 07:33:14 AM
Still looking for a seller. Please on me or comment below. I need this trade ASAP! Maybe even a discount Grin
2030  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] $10 PAYPAL W/ BTC {TRUSTED MEMBERS ONLY} on: March 15, 2016, 08:34:00 PM
Sardasa has offered me this deal, but I am forced to put their deal as a backup, as they are not trusted, and are a full member, which is the usual purchasable bitcontalk account rank.
2031  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: March 15, 2016, 08:28:53 PM
So what happens if the Coins are recovered? There's Lawsuits seeking Millions in Compensation.
Would a Judge award that, forgetting about all us Bagholders?

The lawsuit will get nothing. We have discussed this before. I think the contract with this guy returning the coins should have included a
all members of cryptsy face charges clause. I dont think there are 10 people who actually believe that the staff didn't know what was going on.
After the coins were stolen, and the exchange remained in operation it became a ponzi. Running it was / is illegal and every member of the staff
should be prosecuted for it. Some random hacker didnt steal your coins if you deposited them after the "hack" Cryptsy staff stole them. Paul then ran off
to hide in china and let his underlings take the fall for it.

Don't worry... the feds are going to recover every message and e-mail from these people, and the truth will come out.

Have the feds gotten involved?  I hope so, but I haven't heard anything.  It may be possible for them to track the coins.

Under the law of the country hat cryptsy is based in, the government could force cryptsy to state their addresses, in which, yes, they could track the coins.
2032  Economy / Currency exchange / [WTB] $10 PAYPAL W/ BTC {TRUSTED MEMBERS ONLY} on: March 15, 2016, 08:19:32 PM
Hey guys, I really need a quick trade of $10 BTC. I can go first if you're trusted enough, and plus, PayPal is reversible Smiley

PM me or comment below your offer.
2033  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨[SELLING-BUYING BTC @preev+-%] Okpay, PM, Skrill, Payeer,PP🌟🌟🌟🌟✨ on: March 15, 2016, 08:15:39 PM
buyng /selling

Hey Zazarb, I'd like to buy some PayPal, I can offer the equivalent in bitcoin. I can do BTC-E price on preev, because by default preev factors in localbitcoins, which is overpriced.
2034  Other / Meta / Re: Q: Should Lauda *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no on: March 15, 2016, 07:39:38 PM
Lauda been accused of doing many things, from contradicting, saying things he/she shouldn't, etc.
But why all the hate? He/She's not necessarily speaking as a staff member, in some case she could be a staff member, in other cases, she/he is speaking for herself/himself.

I know Lauda better than most here. She pissed me off one time, and I told her off, and he apologized. And I understood his point of view, and I forgave her completely.
Lauda is both a he, a she and neither at the same time!

Okay, that's just creepy.
2035  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling bitcoin for PayPal/SurePay/Wire/ETC on: March 15, 2016, 07:31:15 PM
Not much, but it's been stuck in my debit card since the dawn of time. How much bitcoin will $1.7 buy me?

PM me, or just say it's a waste of your time. Whatever you like.
2036  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcontalk.org... Wut? on: March 15, 2016, 09:36:56 AM
So what's your point again?

Just a discussion on whether this is morally okay. Does this belong somewhere else?
2037  Other / Meta / Re: Q: Should Lauda *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no on: March 15, 2016, 09:35:49 AM

Lauda is honestly one of the most fair mods I've encountered here in the btct wilderness.

I know Lauda better than most here.

She pissed me off one time, and I told her off, and he apologized.

And I understood his point of view, and I forgave her completely.

I think my eyes just started bleeding again, less than half an hour after looking at bitcontalk Roll Eyes

Edit - I've never been around to say this, but I've been googling giggling (typo, nuff said.) at your avatar since the day I joined this forum.
2038  Other / Meta / Bitcontalk.org... Wut? on: March 15, 2016, 09:25:58 AM
Not sure where this thread belongs, but...

Was typing in bitcointalk.org in my URL bar, (Yes. I still type in the URL...) And I made a typo. (Stupid MX red keys...  Grin) Bitcontalk.org, instead of bitcointalk.

I think my eyes are still bleeding.
2039  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: >> FOREXARENA.TV goes online! on: March 15, 2016, 09:18:55 AM
My eyes hurt from reading this shit. Forex Arena? Corniest URL ever. You use humans to trade? I honestly think that's worse than a bot Roll Eyes
2040  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ★ ALL NEW ★ SatoshiPyramid.com ★ 6BTC deposited ★ 4BTC paid ★ 110%/24h ★ 0,5%/1h on: March 15, 2016, 09:15:34 AM
UUUGGHH

Ponzis are illegal. And you're openly advertising your site as a ponzi/pyramid scheme. Isn't that the tiniest bit daft?

*Uh oh, some twelvie with a username that rhymes with Assilich will come up with a lame comeback!*
