1581  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $20 Steam account credit for only $2! BiPolarDeal! on: May 27, 2016, 09:12:09 PM
I think thats only a very shady trick, he will try to convince us that he is the real bob by doing some giveaways and asap he got the chance to pull out a big scam he will doing it!

If he is really the real deal he should as many previous people said sign a wallet or login to his old account and post some pm's he got!

Hes already been banned. He's been given ample time to prove himself as the real bipolarbob. If he really wants, he can send an email to Theymos with some information/proof.
1582  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where can I buy an SSL certificate anonymously with bitcoin? on: May 22, 2016, 10:10:49 AM
You can buy one with Bitcoin here, but you have to buy a whole hosting package from them.

https://www.anonymousspeech.com/anonymous_hosting_ssl.aspx

You can't just buy a certificate from them. Also their prices are not cheap. They charge 49.95€ / month for their idea of cheap hosting and 29.95€ / month for a yearly plan (it's usually more than that but they are doing a special offer this month).

https://www.anonymousspeech.com/anonymous_hosting_ssl.aspx

They also have these rules.

Limitations

Please note that our legal advantage is not a free ticket for any illegal activities on our servers. Do not apply if the content of your website contains

Child Pornography

Copyrighted Content

That is pretty nice you are sure that they are trusted, I used namecheap before and they can be trusted I hope the website you mentioned is this also ?
Does anyone has experience with them ?

Yep! I bought the sweet domain mailcrypt.xyz off them, which rocks!

They didn't require any verification, and it came with free whoisguard.
1583  Economy / Services / Re: Winner declared - vote and claim 0.0001 + $5 if you are lucky on: May 22, 2016, 10:04:50 AM
Still haven't recieved my payment :-/

I used the one on my profile, and still no incoming transactions. Was there an error of sorts, or was I rejected?
1584  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE] Keybase.io Invites (2 spots) on: May 22, 2016, 10:02:43 AM
Pgp (besides addresses signing) is the most commonly used verification technique on this forum. I would like to participate in this act, I am highly interested in selling services and methods on the marketplace, and pgp will really help me
1585  Other / Meta / Re: Extreme RACIST not banned ??? on: May 22, 2016, 09:56:10 AM
Someone promoting child porn by his word, according to me, shouldn't be sent to jail.

What the fuck

If you think that falls under freedom of expression then guy mentioned in OP falls under my freedom of death penalty
1. I do believe this guy's behaviour is appalling, disgusting, and disgraceful. There's a point when "freedom of speech" becomes "verbal abuse".
2. You can get banned for death threats.
3. You actually made a new account just to say that?
4. Why don't we make a petition, and if a poll gets more than x upvotes we can notify a mod to get the guy banned? This forum is based on the idea of decentralisation, why not let the people decide whether to kick him?
1586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet with lowest transcation fee on: May 22, 2016, 09:45:22 AM
Why the hell are you all saying "blockchain.info"?

Coinbase and Xapo both don't charge any transaction fees. They eat them up.

Everywhere else you have to pay your own fees.
1587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever caught yourself thinking Bitcoin is AMAZING? on: May 22, 2016, 09:42:57 AM
When I purchased something online through whitebag.net, they told me I needed 6 confirmations. I was like, holy shit! But then my TX had 7 confos in under 3 minutes.

Boy, bitcoin is awesome.
1588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction verification time! on: May 22, 2016, 09:39:31 AM
Average block time is 10 minutes.11 minutes isn't that rare. I've seen a 2 hour gap before. Remember, this is cryptography. There's a chance, but it's not certain. Be mindful that the block time isn't set, kiddo.
1589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS STILL FAMOUS on: May 22, 2016, 09:37:15 AM
Bitcoin is like any other asset. It has its ups and downs. $1200 to $300 may seem like alot, but think of when bitcoin dropped from $2 to $0.2. That's a real heartbreaker.
1590  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are floppy disks safe to store wallets? on: May 22, 2016, 09:34:18 AM
To my understanding, floppy disks provide the same security measures as USB disks. Except they are a bit more dusty, and floppy Tongue

Keep in mind that you won't be able to access your bitcoins if you ever need them for an emergency situation on most PCs and laptops. Nobody uses floppy disks anymore. As long as you keep it completely offline, it'd be safe. But a USB stick would be way more accessible.

A floppy disk is an ancient USB. Has the same "plug & play" principle, but has alot of storage (32 MB lel) and is floppy!

IIRC a floppy is a strip of magnetic tape. Doesn't seem very good longevity wise.
1591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: May 22, 2016, 09:30:44 AM
Explain to them that is an asset. Like gold, it can be traded, bought and sold. It can be found, and more and more gold comes into existence each day.

Unlike gold, it does not have a physical manifestation (not collectibles, either.)

1592  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can Coinbase be any worse? on: May 22, 2016, 09:28:19 AM
This is why decentralization is the future. A multisig wallet, controlled by the bitcoin community, maybe?

I understand your problem, bitcoin is hard to obtain, not even in large numbers. But wait a few years, and the market will smooth itself out. If you can't wait that long, then you'll have to put up with *shudders* Coinbase.
1593  Economy / Digital goods / Re: See my Sexy Pic on: May 22, 2016, 04:23:04 AM
*Imagines paying 0.001 and then seeing a man
*shudders*

There are free sexy pics in off topic and Google images lol.
1594  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are floppy disks safe to store wallets? on: May 21, 2016, 10:15:14 PM
Maybe. But think about the compatibility. Floppy disk readers are already incompatible with Windows, and you need a 3rd party program to read it. In a few years, those applications will not be updated.
1595  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: May 21, 2016, 10:13:16 PM
Will i keep using bitcoin? No.
Will i panic? Yes.
I really think that bitcoin will not be inerseting for me if this super drop will happen some day.

I also would panic for sure and I also think I would not buy any bitcoins anymore because I do not think it can from 1 dollar go to a higher amount, on that point it will be done for sure with the bitcoin.

You are right about that I do not think its possible to even get the bitcoin back up in the rail to gain worth again.
If it reaches such numbers it will fall for sure.
although that wouldn't be possible happen but i think if the price of bitcoin drop much to below $100 at that situation market will be active and we will got new investor to buy much bitcoin so the price will back up in the short time.
at that time i think a panic will be created. most of the people will trying to sell their bitcoin so as to avoid the llost. just like in stockexchange. but if the people donot loose heart and they do not sell thier bitcoin then the bitcoin will take a new bost very soon.

I think most people would've sold before $1, however. $1 is only possible after a huge pop of a bubble, or a major flaw in the system. If it's the latter, you'd know about it, and you would also know to back out. If it was after a bubble, buybuybuy.
1596  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Tile tracking device! .05 BTC includes shipping! on: May 21, 2016, 10:19:40 AM
Isn't it $15 each? There's a price differencial of around ~7$ between yours and the site's.

It's $25 each if buying them individually. At the moment, 0.05 BTC is $23, making his item $2 cheaper, and providing the convenience of paying in bitcoin. But yeah, he's making around $7. And that matters how?
1597  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Give me advice pls! (Online shop) on: May 21, 2016, 10:05:24 AM
I would suggest you start up a website where you sell stuff that you can get in bulk and sell for a profit. Personally, I wouldn't mind the idea of an online food delivery service as well. I Eletronics is another big thing that I would want to be able to buy with Bitcoin.

This. I'd love to see a food delivery service for the most popular food chains, accepting bitcoin. It'd be a great step for the bitcoin economy and a great convenience.

Electronics would be great, but i'm afraid sites like purse are the best for that and have already established a reputation.
1598  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Unique Gambling Site] BitTown - Never seen before! [PHP Integrated] on: May 21, 2016, 09:48:08 AM
Did the auction include the vanity bitcoin addresses? "Snow, sun, etc?"

Sorry, just wanted to know. Just in case. I am thinking of a vanity add concept that could be applied to this.
1599  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling BTC at $250 each on: May 21, 2016, 12:43:10 AM
If you say you're Bipolarbob I will cry.

Can you send first? Or can we use escrow? Because tbh this deal is too good to be true, haha.
