Roach and Seales were on fire for home team with their very good bowling, and they have done good start, but now both teams are on level and the match is going to be very entertaining for next few days.
England once again proved that they are not good in putting a team for Test matches as they were struggling to get going and if not for the middle order recovery the situation would have been pathetic. Jonny Bairstow once again came to the rescue and they have all the big names in paper but they are not performing consistently and yet they are able to find players that could replace them.
Even after the bad start England have managed to score 250+ runs by the end of day 1 is good. Someone taking responsibility and doing the best to withstand the situation, and today it looks like Baristow the rescuer. Somehow England will manage to score 300+ runs which is quite good for an innings. If England perform well in bowling surely it can restrict West Indies within 250 runs. Then the match can turn towards England.
2543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC vs Mining it on: March 07, 2022, 11:49:51 PM
Very few countries around the globe have got the cheap electricity consumption charge. So, mining isn't profitable everywhere. Good is to buy bitcoin at the right time and keep hold for the selling at the peak. This will generate good profit.

Through mining one can make a regular earning unlike the market, but it requires big capital funding. Some used to set-up home miners and these miners will generate good revenue until its been caught, because these miners will be run illegally. In my country we've got certain limit of energy to be used for household needs. If found higher, then the energy company makes an investigation.

Today is pre-monthly day probably since VIP host has confirmed  Wink
Asked for lossback bonus but she didn't take it into consideration.
Did you guys ever ask for lossback from the Host?
Have you guys received the pre-monthly bonus. I haven't received anything. It looks like this will take time. Loss back bonus isn't available, users will be settled loss back along with the weekly bonus. This time we will get more than the regular amount, because of Drake's entry into Stake as the brand ambassador.
2545  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will Replace Russian Gas Supplies to Europe? on: March 07, 2022, 06:35:27 PM
Nobody. Russia doesn't need to be replaced because gas doesn't need to be replaced.
Renewable energy is a long term solution to this current challenge about replacement of gas supply from Russia and with the current situation, most countries will start looking into it, but I think what OP is asking is the immediate short term solution if Russia decides to cut the gas supply now. Countries will definitely suffer and will need an alternate supply even if they are to look into projects for renewable energy, because switching to renewable energy just immediately may not be able to carter for the energy demands and needs of the entire country.
Finding an immediate replacement is really tough. Based on the oil production among the European countries, there is none with the production ability of Russia. Right now Arabian Countries can take the place of Russia. In specific countries like Saudi Arabia, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, etc will make use of the situation making their country super rich increasing the oil price
2546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Impact of Ukrain Bitcoin Donation and Support. on: March 07, 2022, 05:34:34 PM
With the acceptance of bitcoin, ethereum and USDT as donations, Ukraine have made its step forward supporting adoption of cryptocurrencies. If this war hasn't happened many could've never understood the real value of bitcoin. Now every country will show interest in holding atleast a small volume of bitcoin, because we don't know what will be the situation of the country tomorrow. When it is required only the cryptocurrency can give hand and not the banking system.

Even if millions and billions were received as donations in fiat, the people never knew how donations were used. With cryptocurrency everything is transparent and this gains the trust and let's people know what is happening.
2547  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FIFA and UEFA has suspended Russian Football teams. on: March 07, 2022, 02:32:43 PM
This is the wildest thing I have ever seen. Even during the First World War, the warring sides played a football match, stopping the confrontation for one day. I can understand sanctions relating to the aggressor country's economy, I can understand disconnection from SWIFT, but denying the ability to participate in sporting events is beyond comprehension. Yes, Spartak Moscow is a Russian club, but more than half of its squad is made up of foreigners. This is nonsense.

In general, it was correctly noticed here that neither Saudi Arabia, nor Iraq, nor Iran, nor Yemen were subjected to such sanctions. But here is other case.
The reason behind every country have got different reasons. The ongoing war decision by Russia over Ukraine seems to be an unwanted war. Even after contempt from several countries and organisations around the globe Russia stood on its decision. Sports is part of the government and that's why sporting organization have restricted Russia. Maybe this will have its contribution in stopping the war.

Have anyone watched the T20 world cup cricket between India Women and Pakistan Women. The Indian team had made an easy win against the Pakistan team. India have managed to score 244 runs whereas Pakistan reached 137 losing every wickets. Indian Women team have played well, upcoming matches against New Zealand and Australia will be the hardest for India. If this has been a match between the men's team, now this could've turned to be the biggest discussion.

Shane Warne body has been taken for autopsy to find out the exact cause of death. I am sure they will find out something which we might not have thought about. As per the news he was staying in a private villa with three friends when he suddenly died.
The Thailand police is claiming that there is nothing unusual about the death, but it is true that he was on vacation with his friends but they were not staying in the same villa and he was found unconscious by one of his friend and he carried out CPR and was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Sad month for Australian and cricket fans around the world as Rodney Marsh also died recently and now the legend Shane Warne.
There is nothing suspicious, morning he has made the final tweet for the death of Rodney and things have happened unexpected. Cardiac arrest can happen in no time, so there is nothing to investigate much. However a player well known around the globe dying in foreign country makes it suspicious. His friends have tried the best, and he is the one to dominate the spin bowling from the Western nations. Because it was always Asians who dominate the spin bowling. Warne have served as the turning point in more number of matches and have made Australia win.
2551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and her sisters: Why do most governments hate her? on: March 06, 2022, 11:34:48 PM
The real reasons why governments hate crypto like bitcoin because they cannot make enough money by collecting taxes.
(...)
You got a point here, this can be considered one of many reasons. The power of decentralization will eliminate the third party because what we are right now for example is the traditional banking, here are the banks and governments. It is also one of many reasons why Bitcoin is created, to be your own bank.
Yes, no countries have developed the perfect framework for the taxation of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Everything is made upon some collective measures of adding bitcoin to the category of gold and property. Some countries to restrict the usage of bitcoin tax them heavily without revealing any proper statement on whether the usage of cryptocurrencies is legal or not. Every measure over bitcoin is to keep it under control, but it isn't possible. This makes the government hate it.
2552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Centralised Exchanges are the Biggest Enemies of Bitcoin on: March 06, 2022, 02:39:14 AM
I never find centralized exchanges a threat to bitcoin. Only through these exchanges the bitcoin market have grown to this level. I don't say decentralised exchanges are bad, but coinbase, kraiken, Binance and other centralized platforms gave the users the ease of access and trust. The freedom and being anonymous makes people prefer DEX. With Dex the fees were low compared to the centralized exchanges. Moreover such a massive usage of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies could've never happened if these exchanges haven't existed.

On the other hand there is flaw with these centralized platforms. These platforms having the complete control over our funds is like having our funds in our banks. So, it is upto the users choice to pick the one that fulfill their need.
2553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba inu on: March 06, 2022, 12:14:57 AM
One more service provider have added Shiba inu as payment option through bitpay. Australian energy company have partnered with bitpay, earlier it has been accepting payments from top listed cryptocurrency and few stable coins. Now Shiba has got added to it. Australia's first energy is the company that has done it. Slowly Shiba is getting more real time usability and this could make a big change in its market and make it a valued altcoin than a memecoin.

SHIB Payments Now Accepted by Australian Energy Company Through BitPay
2554  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin-instant credit?? on: March 05, 2022, 03:29:26 PM
I personally experienced instant credit of bitcoin with Stake gambling site. Once the transaction is made, even before the confirmation of the transaction wallet gets reflected with the deposited amount. Another thing, myself have experienced playing with the deposited amount even before the confirmation of the transaction.
2555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 05, 2022, 02:12:40 PM

Don't use the excuse of scariness for the bad performance of the Australians bowling. They are provided with the highest level of security in Paksitan. They have been given the same security protocol which is given to the prime minister of Pakistan.

The question now is when should Pakistan declare the innings? 500 or even more ? We need enough time to bowl them out in the next three days.

Pakistan truly are now in command of this test as they have declared there first innings on 474. Star performer from Pakistan are Imam and Azahr who scored 157 and 185 runs. Azhar was unlucky to miss his double century. Second day play is delayed due to bad light something Australia really needed badly.

One of the commentators was saying that Pakistan declare the innings at the wrong time. There were lights on at the stadium and when asked by the Australians batsmen, they agree to leave the field marking it the end of day's play.
Yes, Pakistan would've played the rest of the overs for the day. Each and every batsmen have performed the best. It is true that Pakistan players are king in time ground. There is higher chance of draw on this match. Maybe some early wickets could turn the match towards Pakistan.
However, Pakistan could have batted for the rest of the overs remaining in the day with a little bit of dim light and could have scored more runs if they had not declared.
There won't be big difference in the score. What Pakistan have scored in the first innings of the match is enough in my view.
2556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: According to Bill Miller, the collapse of Russia's currency is good for Bitcoin on: March 05, 2022, 10:55:15 AM

Bill Miller, a billionaire investor, says that Russia would likely turn to Bitcoin to reclaim control of their resources. Western sanctions have now blocked Russia's foreign exchange reserves. Bitcoin is frequently regarded as a superior "digital gold" that can partially or completely replace national currencies.

What are your thoughts and opinions on this? I would love to hear it!

The impact of having heavy economical sanctions in a country can quite be costly- it will be relatively harder and difficult for the people in Russia to transact and purchase goods within their area. Inflation will rise and all of the costs of goods would definitely spike-up due to having scarce resources on their countries.

This is where BTC can step in. Its application can somehow support Russian citizens to purchase goods outside their country by transacting and using BTCs. I do think that BTC can have an impact to this war especially on its price.
Oil wealth countries due to the mismanagement or due to the reach for power end up losing their sovereignty. The first country to experience this in recent days Venezuela.

With Venezuela the scenario is different and improper governing body caused a big economic crisis. Slowly it looks like recovering, but the real recovery needs time. Now Russia have been experiencing out of its invasion on Ukraine. Venezuelans are well aware of bitcoin and even the small stores accept bitcoin. Maybe Russians could follow venezuelans to overcome the upcoming crisis.
2557  Economy / Economics / Re: More destruction of Ukraine territory and economy going on on: March 05, 2022, 07:46:06 AM
Russia have announced the temporary pausing of war.

Quote
The ministry confirmed its units have stopped firing and opened humanitarian corridors near the cities of Volnovakha and Mariupol which were encircled by Russian troops.

Moscow Declares Partial Ceasefire

This isn't confirmed by the Ukranian forces and there is no clear information how long will the borders opened for the excavation. PayPal have stopped the services in Russia. Now the media and the journalists are eyed and a warning has been issued. Anything reported fake could lead to imprisonment.
2558  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Invasion is affecting Sports Economy. on: March 05, 2022, 07:15:47 AM
Its not only sports that is affected. This war has affected everything pretty much. Gotten fuel lately? Most likely you are paying the highest you’ve ever paid for fuel due to this war.

They also got Facebook, Twitter, banned. Some car brands are no longer selling there like BMW or Volvo. Some luxury fashion brands are keeping their shops closed. Even the Apple store is closed all over Russia.

It’s been a little over a week and it’s crazy how out of hand it’s gotten.
Russia could've never thought of such an action from all forms of business and services industry. Sports authorities acted fast, but this decision affects the sports industry within the country. Each and everything is on a chain process. If one gets affected automatically we can experience the same to continue with the rest. With time the attack is getting harder and no conclusions were got even after several rounds of bilateral talks.
2559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto in war ukraine and russia on: March 04, 2022, 11:58:21 PM
Crypto played a major role in the Russia-Ukraine war, as Ukraine collected tens of millions of international donations from crypto, and Russia used cryptocurrencies to transfer money while bypassing traditional financial channels, and as a result, crypto has become the hero of this war, as it is not under the control of any central authority, and Bitcoin has witnessed a noticeable rise since the Russian invasion of Ukraine due to the purchasing support it received from both sides.
Increased usage of bitcoin with Russia and Ukraine happened out of the war. Ukraine made it a way to support war funding through donation acceptance in the form of cryptocurrencies. Russia on the other side to overcome the financial sanctions started using cryptocurrencies. Both were using it with some purpose that made the market move on the bull side. If crypto have served as a way to stop war, then this could've been a big thing. For now it has served as an alternate path to minimize the risks out of financial transactions.
2560  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Most Popular Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - Watford & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: March 04, 2022, 11:34:07 PM
Drake is a way too bigger name than I assumed Stake could ever reach. I mean UFC is not a small thing neither, nor Watford neither. However, Watford was achieved before so that shock was over when Stake did it, and when they did UFC, I am not a big fan so I didn't really cared about it all that much.

However, Drake is globally known and it is not just some sponsorship, it is basically just a big life style deal. I mean all those who are fans of Drake (which MANY out there) and the ones that gamble as well, or look up to drake (which we shouldn2t look up to celebs) will definitely prefer stake now and that is a big deal, a very big deal.
Drake as ambassador will bring his followers to Stake, it is win-win situation for both parties. Tomorrow it will be huge stream with Drake since he will drop extra bonuses in live stream and I expect more than 30k viewers compared to average 4k viewers each Saturday.
It is surely big deal, probably over 100 mln will be paid yearly for this partnership 😀
No official statement about his pay, for sure he'll be paid good by Stake. Tomorrow who is going to be the luckiest to receive the best tip from Drake. Making a million dollar bet had placed him as one among the brand ambassador for Stake. Being on the top list Stake keeps adding more popular faces to the team making the platform more popular than before. Now onwards we can see big bets quite often.
