I'd tell any 5 year old to ask their parents if they really want to know about Bitcoin.

Legendary : $4 I'm more thinking of 21,000,001 Bitcoins. By then my account is worthless anyway. Disclaimer: I saw this "offer" from an old account a long time ago, so the idea isn't mine but I forgot who it was.I discovered that you don't lose merit when sending merit. I read how smerit works. To test it out I created aleph1 to dump all my smerit in and recovered half of it. That's totally allowed, but heavily frowned upon. Almost as much frowning as you get when you buy an account. Bitcointalk is a community. Account sales and meriting your own post are like cheating the community. It's up to you to choose which path you want to walk.

All right, then my script will run at Paris time midnight + 15 minutes just to be safe. Can you make this +50 minutes, to account for the increased delay between scraping Coingecko?

Can we use url shortener to use a referral link in our sig without any mention of mixing in our profile? That sounds like bypassing the wordfilter: bypassing the wordfilter will get you banned

Hi Loyce, are you doing any better? A bit, but I'm not celebrating yet. I've felt like this a few times before in the past 3 months. More tests later this week. Thanks

About three weeks ago, I faced significant challenges in real life and... to put it mildly, I didn't believe I would overcome them. Fortunately and thankfully, I am currently standing strong, and I express gratitude that the issues have been resolved. Welcome back. Real life can be unimaginably difficult

But do you need to add a reference link with some kind of proof? Or is it enough to have a strong feeling? I prefer to add Reference links with compelling evidence. for example "BabyBandit is a idiot and I hate him" without reference link? That's fine for me because everyone have right to their opinion. It's allowed (as anything is), but I wouldn't call it correct use of the Trust system as it's not very interesting for others. Use User Notes if you want to keep a diary. if you gonna accuse someone for being a scammer at least I think you should have solid proof When I tag someone with negative feedback, I want it to be convincing for others. It wouldn't be very Switzerland of me to start tagging people for "maybe". And last how important is a reference link? I'd say: add it when you can. Check my Sent feedback: the few without Reference link either can't have one, or don't need one. Also I have swiped my Trust list and have added the people I trust and distrusted the people I don't think belong in DT in my trust list. Is that something you think is good or bad? I wouldn't worry about DT too much: just add users with good judgement. I had a bad attitude against reputable members You may like this post: Bitcointalk offers more freedom than any other forum I know. You can choose to be an asshole or you can be a nice person. It's entirely up to you how you want to come across. If you're a snowflake, you might get offended. That's okay.

Where does it say that if you think a deal with a user is high risk but he already has two feedbacks he doesn't need any more? In my post Seriously though, it's up to any potential trade partner to make apply their own judgement of the feedback on an account. I used neutral so it's a warning without harsh consequences. That may change in the future, but I wouldn't be surprised if Ratimov doesn't return. I completely disagree with this. Feedback have a date and for me if someone had a successful trade with Ratimov in the past he should not delete what he wrote, simply if he thinks he is high risk now he should add negative feedback as of today. I'd say: "it depends". User yogg went from +32 / =0 / -0 a year ago to # +13 / =0 / -43 now. This means the majority of DT removed their positive feedback. On the other hand, there's this account, where RHavar left positive feedback in 2016, and negative feedback in 2019. This way, it shows a timeline of events and going from trusted to untrusted. You are asking others to do what you do not want to do: to enhance the danger of trading risk. You prefer it to be enhanced by deleting old positive feedback instead of adding current negative feedback. It's more that I don't think the old feedback still applies. I guess we agree to disagree on this. Agreed I love democracy

So.... is it wrong or correct for WO's to be so overly bullish on BTC ? Neither. There is no such thing as being "overly bullish" when it comes to Bitcoin.

If trading with Ratimov Symmetrick is high risk then shouldn't this feedback be a negative one though? Of course. And LoyceV is well aware of it. I considered it, but I also try to be conservative with negative feedback. For now, I think 2 DT-negatives are already a strong warning for anyone not to deal with the account. We'll see if the sponsorship-thing turns into a Flag by one of the winners next month. If it's created, I'll probably Support it.

You see that some coins go back to my own wallet That's change, and that's normal. But: your transaction included 3 inputs. If you would have used Coin Control, you could have picked only the largest inputs instead of consolidating all of them. That would have lead to a smaller transaction, and saved money on fees. Coin Control means manually choosing which inputs you use. You can do this for instance in Electrum or Bitcoin Core. If I used ViaBTC will it confirm faster and also help me save some satoshi? It depends: you could save on the transaction fee, at the risk of not getting through. And ViaBTC counts bytes instead of vbytes, which means 3 inputs may or may not be above the 500 byte limit already. It won't be faster than paying a high fee, but it will be faster than waiting for fees to drop if you paid a low fee. I saw ViaBTC had some free accelator every ihour very kind of them. But if I want to use a service like this where I can pay and use it more often. Is the best way to register at ViaBTC and make a deposit? No. Paid transaction accelerators are a last resort: it's definitely (much) more expensive than paying a high enough on-chain transaction fee, using RBF or using CPFP.

Statistics have it that the world population of those that own Bitcoin is 2.74% Don't believe everything you read online. That would make it over 200 million people, which is 4 times more than the number of funded Bitcoin addresses.

Do you think this fee's is the new normal or is it just tempoary? I don't know. if i have many small inputs and then move all my Bitcoin to another wallet. Do I then only have one big input? Only if you move them in one transaction. It sounds like you should learn how Bitcoin transaction inputs work, looking around on a block explorer may help. And is that worth doing if I am planning to hold my Bitcoin for long time. You're late to the party. At current fees, it's not the right time to consolidate small inputs.

I'm pretty sure they know already that introducing a minimum transaction fee that's high enough to discourage the creation of these token would go a long way to solve this Spammers already pay $40 to create dust transactions. How high do you want to set the minimum fee?

I left Ratimov (now Symmetrick *) neutral feedback: I'll counter all the positive feedback Ratimov received. He deleted half his Merited posts, all feedback and Flag Support. He changed his nickname. After lots of name calling, he ignored all accusations made against him. He stopped posting in English. Some say the account changed ownership. He backed out of a $1600 sponsorship. I don't know what's going on, but I'm certain his attitude towards the forum changed. Let me put it this way for users who left positive feedback: would you trust this account again now? I don't. I think trading with this person is high-risk. Read the Reference topic. I had to squeeze it to fit the 600 character limit. For anyone who left Ratimov positive feedback in the past: Let me put it this way: would you trust Ratimov again now? I think "trading with this person is high-risk" applies at the moment, and for that, changing historic positive feedback can help protect others. * Normally, I respect name changes for privacy, but in this case, I don't think it's right to change your username right before you abandon the English boards and shortly after that stop posting entirely.

when I use safepal wallet (not recommended) Side question: why do you use it if it's not recommended? or something I have not learned yet? My advice: get a wallet that supports Coin Control. If possible, select an input that doesn't require any change. That being said: if you have 0.0016 Bitcoin in your wallet, you should probably not spend it at all if fees take up 20% of that amount. Just wait for better times. I guess it depends on the time zones, the traffic varies. You are correct. I noticed ViaBTC's accelerator availability indeed varies during the day.

the word filtered site is replaced wherever it is found with [banned site]. But in the case of mixers, their sites aren't banned, maybe theymos will coin another phrase for the mixers. The sites will be banned from Bitcointalk, which means [banned site] covers it.
