2541  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: India plans to introduce law to ban cryptocurrency trading on: January 01, 2021, 11:56:14 PM
CoinDCX reported rapid growth in new users and volume recently. The government must be taking notice -- just as it's also looking for ways to pay for the country's sizeable and ongoing stimulus programs.
I would like to point out how the Modi government makes everyone thinks that the stimulus programs are really huge, first they combine the packages they announced in 2019 as per the financial budget and then announced one big amount and if you look at the amount of money they really spent you will understand the truth and another fact is that they combine monetary along with the fiscal package to reach these big numbers  Cheesy.

Another reality is that they sanction three Lakh crores in the total package of 20 Lakh Crore they announced and till now they actually dispersed only 1.5 Lakh Crore as per the RTI report and that is the reality of these gimmick packages.

If you start digging deep you will understand the hollowness of the Modi lead government and it is not a big surprise if they will be taxing 18%.

Hitman cleared the fitness test still he may be rusty for a while because coming into play at different playing condition after a long break will make the things difficult for him personally but when we say experience then we can feel a bit safer because he knows how to tackle the condition at any situation.
Rohit Sharma is yet to prove himself in the Test format and it is not easy to be the opener in fast wickets and if you take a look at the balls Mayank Agarwal was dismissed then all of those balls were spotless top deliveries and any batman could have dismissed with those deliveries and Rohit Sharma is returning after an injury and i doubt whether he will make any impact.
2543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: January 01, 2021, 10:24:52 PM
Normally I would agree with you that there would be less viewers for a known outcome, but in this case I think everyone is paying to see Logan get knocked out.  I can't remember the last time I saw Mayweather knock someone out, as his last several fights have mostly been him dancing around earning technical points, so I think he actually has a bit to lose in this event.  If he can't even knock out Logan Paul at this point in his career, why would anyone still pay to see him fight?
Do you remember the last time Floyd Mayweather knocked out a fighter it was in 2011 against Victor Ortiz who was not ready for the fight after referee interference and Mayweather took that as a chance and knocked him out and in my view it was a cheap shot as Ortiz was not ready as he was apologizing for the foul he earlier committed. I can bet that Mayweather will not knockout Logan Paul but he will win on points.

For example, do you think there's any chance in hell Mike Tyson wouldn't knock Logan Paul out?  Why isn't Mike the one getting tens of millions of dollars to knock out youtubers?
Mike Tyson was known for his heavy hands and Logan Paul nor any causal boxers stand a chance even against an old Tyson as one shot from him will floor anyone.
2544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex removing XRP on: January 01, 2021, 05:26:23 PM
Bittrex is not a big exchange anymore. The volume of this market has decreased over the last few years. This move may not affect ripple much since it has suffered much from SEC. Delisting from Bittrex is inevitable since bittrex locates in US
It is not just Bittrex, many more exchanges will be delisting XRP including Binance for the US customers, Genesis Global Trading and any exchanges that is having a office in the US will be forced to remove XRP and we might see more countries taking the same stance in the future and it will be a problem for the coin and we should expect more of these restrictions for other coins as well in the future.
2545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Who should Ryan Garcia fight? on: January 01, 2021, 04:26:08 PM
I could not agree with this, Luke Campbell though not getting any younger but this boxer has a power. Well, everyone is betting Ryan Garcia to win the fight but look at the betting odds, if bookies believe that Ryan Garcia will easily dominate his opponent, he could give him an odds like 1.10 and below.
The reason is Luke Campbell is the biggest test in the career of Ryan Garcia and the last opponent of Campbell was Vasyl Lomachenko and there is no debate about his experience and his technical expertise and i expect him to exploit some loopholes in the style of Ryan Garcia and i am expecting Campbell to target his body and if that happens i would like to see how Ryan Garcia is going to respond Grin.
2546  Economy / Economics / Re: The supply issue on: January 01, 2021, 02:22:05 PM
If bitcoin's price and market cap continue to increase, and if a 2nd layer or off-network protocol allows people to subdivide their satoshis into smaller and smaller units, does the whole 21 million BTC supply cap even matter anymore?
You do not need a second layer solution to subdivide the coins into small fractions, just take fiat currency, one dollar can be subdivided into 100 cents and yet it is one dollar and you need to apply the same standard to BTCitcoin until anyone convince me otherwise which is highly unlikely because 21 million BTCitcoins is the benchmark on the number of coins in existence Tongue.
2547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $188 million worth of BTC to unknown address from unknown on: January 01, 2021, 07:49:55 AM

2548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 257 Main Event: McGregor vs. Poirier [Prediction and Discussion] on: December 31, 2020, 07:47:29 PM
Conor McGregor may not have the necessary level of self-control and very often he is a very inappropriate antics and attacks on other fighters, but he is able to bring together a huge audience of fans and have spectacular fights. Conor McGregor's career as well as Dustin Poirier's is developing very rapidly and each of them has improved.
Conor McGregor is one of the best fight promoter in the world with his word sparring against his opponent and that will help in attaining a huge fan base. The career of Conor McGregor is not developing like Dustin Poirier, he is always avoiding tough fights throughout his career and never defended any of his belts even though he changed the sports of MMA for good.
2549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 30, 2020, 02:02:55 PM
For me it was Gill, Jadeja and Rahane who were responsible for the second test win. Plus the fielding on Indian side did improve from the previous test. Bowlers from both side bowled brilliantly but indian batsmen changed the game.
You forgot the start, Ajinkya Rahane giving the ball to Ravichandran Ashwin in the 10th over and he changed the tempo of the match by picking the wickets of Matthew Wade and Steven Smith in quick succession and it completely opened the match, Mohammed Siraj impressed me a lot with his wonderful debut bowling and he was troubling the batsman.

Umesh Yadav is injured and hopefully we will see another debut in the next match and hopefully i would like to see Nataraj making his debut but i think he is not picked for the squad and he is staying to help the batsman in the nets and hence the opportunity goes to Navdeep Saini.
2550  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin price start Falling? on: December 29, 2020, 10:19:37 PM
I've been thinking, it's now very scary to buy bitcoin, as the bullish movement is at an unexpected level.
When do you think bitcoin price will start falling?
There is risk in entering when the market is rallying as you cannot predict when the market will go down and the current rally is helped by huge investment from financial fund houses and you cannot predict when they are planning to book their profit and when they does the market will go down drastically and i was expecting them to manipulate the market but they kept on investing heavily.

OP is not asking about PM limits but reporting delay of 4 seconds and with the amount of spam we are getting these days there are plenty of spam to report  .

Shout outs to all the mods that are taking care of the spam in a swiftly manner and all the reporters Kiss.
2552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 27, 2020, 08:27:16 PM
^^ Manny Pacquiao rematch? Nah, Floyd will not fight him again, that's why he is doing some exhibitions and easy match for millions to avoid Manny at all cost.

And besides, fighting 4 easy match will scoop him enough money that could equal Manny Pacquaio fights, so he is really that intelligent as far as his boxing career and generating money even though he is retired. And I don't think he is in for his legacy, although undefeated, he didn't give Manny a rematch so that might hurt him. But he doesn't care because he has richest sports personalities in the last 10-15 years.
The idea of a Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquaio fight excites all the fans and if you are a boxing fan you will clearly know that the first fight took place when both of them were not in their prime, they could have made the fight 8 years ago when they first fought and the camp from Manny always complain that the Mayweather camp was ducking them and whatever it is, i am not expecting a rematch as Floyd will not risk returning back to professional boxing.
2553  Other / Off-topic / Re: Covid is fud on: December 27, 2020, 07:37:02 PM
Like every other fuds it will be over soon .
I have information that  spring. 2 nd march uk will be fine.
Then all world slowly good .
The fud is to crash markets just normal stage of life
There are many who claimed from the beginning that everything about the virus is just a FUD. I understand there are always two sides in any aspects but the pandemic has created a major issue financially and economically and the entire world is struggling and it has affected each and every individual and still if anyone thinks that it is all FUD they must be living under a rock Tongue.

We are living in a world where information are transferred quickly and no one can hide anything for a very long time, so stop living under a rock and understand the reality what is happening and then respond.
2554  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wow, The Best Crypto Christmas 🌲 Ever! on: December 27, 2020, 06:56:16 PM
I studied nearly all of the cryptocurrency markets during the Christmas 🎄 time.

The Christmas 🌲 markets were boring but not this one ... This Christmas 🌲 the market is looking good and healthy!
It is a literally new market and you cannot have a huge data to analyze but still if you look at the past market situation normally the market would have a slight correction during December and holiday season but this time around there are institutional investments coming in whenever we expect a correction and that has taken the market to new levels than we expected.
2555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No price correction for bitcoin? Did it already happen? on: December 27, 2020, 05:53:16 PM
I actually dont like the word "correction" because in relation to bitcoin it means
really a correction down, why cant Bitcoin correct upwards? is not the current
value of bitcoin correct?
You have the freedom to choose any word you want but the concept what the OP is talking about is global. He was expecting a major correction before the big rally and now the price of BTCitcoin has breached many resistance with ease and now hovering around $27.6k and still looking strong to further breach the next resistance with ease. Like many i did not expect this kind of rally before New Year and from my experience in the BTCitcoin market it always performs well above our perception and logic Cheesy.

Correction is not a correction its just a movement.
Usually any market movement above 10% is termed as a correction and if you want to view that as a movement it is quite the same. Unless you sell at a loss you can always call them market movement and waiting for profit movement:D.
2556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 27, 2020, 02:25:57 PM
^^
Ajinkya Rahane is the star as a captain and he made the right bowling changes and then scoring a century and leading the team from the front even though he was struggling with his back when the rain stopped the match, if India is able to score a lead well above 200 runs then the chances of India winning the match is a possibility and if that happens the power of captaincy by Rahane will be the shining factor and his stock as a captain will increase considering how badly India lost the first match.
2557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 26, 2020, 11:54:35 PM
~
Logan has still some sufficient time to make up some training at least he can last up some rounds.
Logan Paul is an athlete and he can complete the entire fight without gassing out and more over he was a Division one wrestler and his brother Jake is also a top wrestler and an athlete and Floyd Mayweather is not known for his punching power and he wins fights due to his technical skills rather than power even during his prime and is known to have brittle hands.

That said you cannot compare them with boxing skills but this is an exhibition bout and we will see the fight going the full distance and Mayweather winning the fight by points.

In professional matches, he won't do it anymore to keep his undefeated record. But he can still do what he wants as long as it's not a professional box.
Mayweather does not need to show anything further to cement his legacy, the only interesting fight he can sign a contract for the boxing fans is the Manny rematch that everyone wants to see and he will avoid that Cheesy.
2558  Economy / Speculation / Re: How is bitcoin worth buying now at these prices? on: December 26, 2020, 10:27:21 PM
Yea i know you would say... imagine btc is 50k or 100k or 300k, then what about then?  Well by then, i don't even know how it would make any sense to buy it as even doubling your money would be extremely hard.
The risk is always there when you are investing at this price as the price already breached $26.6k and still moving up without showing any signs of weakness, i am just watching in awe as the price keeps on moving up as i have no idea from where these huge investments are coming in and i will stay away from investing at this price.

For example I don't know anything about stocks but i think i rather buy a random stock and it has a much better chance to double in price than btc when its 25k.  Thoughts on this?
If you want to risk money then it is always better to invest in BTCitcoin even at this price rather than investing in random stocks Tongue.
2559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 26, 2020, 08:57:09 PM
True! I am wondering what would happen with Virat's leadership if India manage to win the series under Ajinkya. Virat already facing bit of backlash in the limited overs.
If Ajinkya Rahane can turn things around with the absence of Virat Kohli then it will be epic and there will be more pressure for the selectors to replace him if he does not deliver the same kind of performance. There are opinions about replacing Kohli and making Rohit Sharma the captain in the T20 format and the same will happen with Ajinkya Rahane.

The morning session is important and it all depends upon how India is batting in the first two sessions and avoid loosing wickets.
2560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the power of HOLD and believe on: December 26, 2020, 07:14:07 PM
I decided to hold on Bitcoin since 2018 after the all time high. I buy various Physical coin such as casascius coin and satori during the time when BTC price was low and now I'm still holding on. I will open my coin once BTC price reach 100K USD.   Cool
Out of curiosity i would like to know how long you are willing to hold to reach $100k  Wink. You need to have good patience for the price to reach those valuation as per my understanding of the market even though there are speculation about the price reaching those levels in a much shorter period of time.

If you are able to invest at the right time when the market was on the bear run, you will understand the power of HODL and not when the market is rallying and breaching all the resistance Grin.
