2541  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Efficiency of Signature Campaign on: May 10, 2019, 02:23:24 PM

In other words, this is just one of the many stones that the team has to utilize in building up a project.
2542  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Market status on: May 10, 2019, 02:18:19 PM

2543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to choose Kucoin ??? on: May 10, 2019, 12:54:19 PM
As Binance failed to prove it is safest exchange also there is less features compare to Kucoin . Kucoin gives revenue sharing for KCS token in exchange more over its also having IEO and other option compare to Binance Kucoin giving more option . What you guys think about binance alternative??

With the recent hack of Binance, this can be the best opportunity for Kucoin to push their wares and expand its market share. They can come up with a good marketing campaign promoting their platform to be safer and more user-friendly than Binance. I actually find Kucoin to be at the same level as Binance in terms of offering good services to their users...and I am both using these two exchanges. Let's see if this development can be a big advantage to Kucoin and if the market will treat Kucoin to the best alternative to Binance.
2544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Germany's First STO - Your thoughts? on: May 10, 2019, 12:49:55 PM
I have encountered this project as it was referred by my friend to take a look and it seems a really good project. Knowing before they make their STO they are already a established company. And they have licensed to conduct STO and its sealed the legitimacy of the project.

There had been some interest on STO in 2018 but it slowly lost some flame towards 2019...maybe because people are not seeing many differences with the usual ICO platform. I am wishing that Bitbond can be a different project and can show how STO is being run. This is not a neophyte project actually and I think the team has the potential to make it a big success. But this is not an endorsement of the project, however. Let the investor analyze the whole thing and decide for himself.
2545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how can i trust new platforms? on: May 10, 2019, 12:44:04 PM
Now a days so many spam coins in the market . I'm varied to invest

You must be referring to shitcoins which can be so risky as they usually withered in the marketplace and if you are holding them enough they may have no value whatsoever by the time you want to move them. Now, we also have downright scam tokens by the projects which are put up just to fool people. This is becoming a big shameful hallmark of the cryptocurrency market though the same is true in different industries. Scams are here partly because this is a deregulated market and this is the reason why governments should enact laws that can fight this menace to protect people and their investments. In case you are thinking of investing money here, go for the top cryptocurrencies.
2546  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What people prefer Now- A Centralized or Decentralized Exchange on: May 10, 2019, 12:38:22 PM
Decentralized exchange is good in terms of security but they do lack the liquidity and technology like their centralized exchange countrparts. Without enough liquidity in an exchange the exchange would not be able to.meet the financial needs of its users well..i still prefer centralized exchange than the decentralized ones

I am not a tech person and I find the learning curve in decentralized exchanges to be a little far for me compared to centralized exchanges like Bittrex, Binance or Kucoin where I am more comfortable using them. I find centralized to be more user-friendly. Now, I am aware of the many advantages of decentralized exchanges also but as of now...I still prefer the usual centralized ones despite the recent many hacks they encountered.
2547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Bill to Ban Buying All Cryptocurrencies on: May 10, 2019, 12:30:50 PM

Rep. Sherman is not the voice of the government. I am sure that this will not pass in Congress because this is a myopic view of cryptocurrency. I am enjoining Mr. Sherman to instead take a look at how many countries including China and others who are already undermining the economic status of USA by bypassing the dollar...soon the dollar will not be very influential anymore because many central banks are unloading it as one of their reserve currency. Why? because they are concern about the propensity of the USA government to print more paper money (called as quantitative easing to make it more appealing). The problem is not cryptocurrency...it is the government itself. Now, when the government is not accepting its fault they usually refocus the blame to someone or something else. That is what Rep. Sherman is doing.
2548  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rises very fast! on: May 10, 2019, 12:24:50 PM
According to your analysis, what causes the price of bitcoin to continue to rise for now? Then what will you do, when you look at market conditions that continue to improve and also the price growth that sharply increases. Share your opinion here and let's discuss it. Thank you so much..

In my own simple opinion, the reason Bitcoin is continually rising is because the market is expecting it to rise. This is becoming like a self-fulfilling prophecy. The market is now very positive about Bitcoin and this is shown by its rise...the demand is getting bigger for now so this is the energy that pushes it to go up. I am not seeing good developments on the horizon that can be catalyst for this movement and in fact we have the Binance hack lately but it did not deter Bitcoin from going green. Now, the next can be: Will there be some corrections soon?
2549  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-09] Coinfirm following Binance hacker addresses on: May 10, 2019, 09:56:58 AM

And all the while they can do nothing about it...just enjoying watching how Bitcoin is moving from an address to another. This is just like an intellectual gratification knowing that you know what is happening and yet you are helpless about it. This is actually discouraging and disappointing, at least on my own opinion. Here we are extolling the very virtue about one of the best technologies ever devised by man yet it is honestly tied and impotent against an evil that is affecting this whole industry. Of course, I know why there is nothing we can do but I can't just avoid that empty feeling just thinking about it. So what is my main point? I am hoping that a day will come when this very technology we love can find a way to stop people from getting the incentive for hacking. Can that be possible?
2550  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-08] Bitcoin to be offered as collateral during Uber’s IPO on: May 10, 2019, 09:05:02 AM
at a time when it has taken a hit due to events such as the Binance hack.

That 'hack' didn't cause that much panic and in fact, the price of Bitcoin is relatively stable around $6k. While it's true that Bitcoin price could increase if there are services such as this one, it doesn't guarantee it. I'm not sure how many people will use it and how much money will be used up to buy new bitcoins. It might never change because people who're interested in this 'new' service already has some bitcoins.

How will a new service like this can impact the movement of Bitcoin depends on the number of users actively engaging in the platform and their volume of transactions. This service will further promote more and more speculations which can be a two-edged sword...it can be helping Bitcoin in some ways while bringing in some limitations at the same time. Anyway, this is business and for me the more business that use Bitcoin the better it will be for its long-term viability. Good thing that WCX is offering education to its users on how to trade the Uber stocks.
2551  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-08] PayPal Skips Bitcoin While 'Clearly Working on Blockchain & Crypto' on: May 10, 2019, 08:58:48 AM
PayPal Skips Bitcoin While ‘Clearly Working on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency’

Online financial services firm PayPal believes it is too early to pronounce Bitcoin as the future of payments. Nevertheless, the $128 billion financial services firm is pursuing blockchain and cryptocurrency projects, Yahoo Finance reports.

https://www.ccn.com/paypal-skips-bitcoin-while-clearly-working-on-blockchain-and-cryptocurrency

I am sure that PayPal does not want to work with Bitcoin because it is actually planning to have a cryptocurrency of its own which can be introduced at the right time and market conditions. There is no question with them on the value of the blockchain technology and soon they gonna harness its power and innovations to protect their own business share and interest. How will people like what they are cooking...that is something we have to leave to the market but I am sure that with its might and influence they will make sure that it's gonna be a huge success.
2552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for scammers, yea right! on: May 10, 2019, 08:43:21 AM
We  have been hearing this since Bitcoin started. Funny cause some of those who calls it scam before are now into crypto.
Those who are against it are now using it to make money. I think for those people like me who have been in crypto for years have already heard this a million times and it doesn't bother us anymore.

There are some people who are not yet tired of calling the attention of the world that Bitcoin is scam...and that for them it would be better for the whole world to make this scam get stopped on its track right now. But Bitcoin is here to stay and so now they refused to believe the facts and continue on convincing others of their conviction. We live in a free world so that anybody can believe whatever he wants to.

The truth is that Bitcoin is for everybody just like the fiat money. Now when I say everybody that may include scammers, of course. Have we not heard scammers using fiat money in their operation? Of course, we do. Fiat money is for scammers too, of course.
2553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Wash trading with crypto exchanges on: May 10, 2019, 06:26:42 AM
This is no new data. It's been discussed widely in the last few weeks. However, there's one thing to remember, most wash trading is done by projects to boost of their own token's daily trade volume. Exchanges merely facilitate this.

That is more like it. Without any data I can use, it would be easy to conclude that the best possible people to do the manipulations are the people behind the specific project as they want to make sure that the value of their project will be rosy. Many of the project development team members usually also have a hoard of coins or tokens of their own project so if they can manipulate the exchanges then they get the incentives they are looking for. And ordinary token holders will also be happy because they can sell when they got at a good price. So maybe we have a win-win situation that is why many are not actually complaining at all...except that this arrangement may not be working for the long-term stability and viability of this industry.
2554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin CONFIRMED BREAK OUT of Monthly & Weekly Resistance --> Targets of $6500+ on: May 10, 2019, 06:17:54 AM
Hey guys – we've been watching for this particular move for a couple months now. We've been following BTC ever since the break of the 55 EMA ($3800-ish) on the monthly.

In our last two vids we discussed the break of the Monthly 21 EMA and (just confirmed) the break of the WEEKLY 55. This is extremely bullish – and we're expecting continuation to the upside moving forward.

Ichimoku looking great as well, and showing a possible target to $7400-ish
Here come the "prophets" Grin

Expectedly, we're going to see more of Bitcoin prophets spring up now that price is beginning to soar. Don't forget that price rise or fall is subject to market sentiments. These sentiments can't be predetermined before hand. Even TA aren't 100% certain. This is a speculative industry where any price direction is highly possible. For those buying in now, you're merely chasing the price. Wait for a retracement (this correction is imminent). Otherwise you end up buying the high.

I am actually waiting for the next retracement or correction because I am planning to convert my Eth to Bitcoin. I am sure there is a correction for this little bull run days from now. these days when Bitcoin is going strong, there can be the proliferation of many good predictions of the so-called prophets. Well, I myself can be making my own predictions and when things are going rosy it is always nice to be positive though we should also be cautious at all times as the market is always unpredictable and sometimes be shocking.

2555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am a long term TNB holder, but become more negtive attitude! on: May 10, 2019, 06:01:34 AM
anyone one who can tell me what should i do? I dont want to lose more!

Analyze the type of coin you are holding. See if there is really a good future ahead of it or it is already an abandoned project with no real and meaningful activities done by the team behind. Sometimes a coin or token may surprised us but generally speaking things are hinging on the kind of vision and how good is the team behind that vision. This is not a guaranteed way though as some coin can have a good team but still the market is not responding well. So it is then your call whether to let it go or to hold it indefinitely.
2556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I change the principle of profitability of the cryptocurrency market? on: May 10, 2019, 05:39:26 AM
Quote
It seems to me that this is not a very convenient version of the cryptocurrency market. It turns us into greedy speculators who do not care about the project itself, for which the coin or token was created. It would be better if we had the opportunity to receive passive profits, dividends as a result of the retention of cryptocurrency. Then we would feel that we are co-owners of the project and would be interested in developing it.

This should be the most ideal as this is similar to buying stocks wherein aside from the possibility of increase in the value of the stock there can also be regular release of dividends if the operation or project is doing well in the market. However, tokenization could do it because that would be tantamount to selling securities. STO should be the one solving this problem. The normal ICO features are not anymore working well and are limiting to what the market is needing. I admire Miracle Tele for introducing its stacking program and I am wishing the project well...hope it can be inspiring other projects to follow the lead.
2557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Binance increase again? on: May 10, 2019, 05:32:41 AM

Binance and BNB can be down for now but this is just temporary. Just like the legendary phoenix rising out of the ashes, Binance will soon be taking back the tarnished image it has and soon people will forget that a big hack happened into it. I am sensing that people are still trusting Binance all because they are not actually losing money here as Binance can easily cover the amount hacked. I think that Binance is very prepared for this unfortunate thing and they have already know what to do in case a crisis can happen. This is a hallmark of a good management and how professional they are in face of the threat. BNB can be dumping a little and this can be the best time to enter into it most especially for risk takers.
2558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs BitcoinCash Which will win? on: May 10, 2019, 05:28:22 AM

Quote
In my opinion, the two cannot be equated, because ETH was created for trade that is independent of bitcoin and has its own future, which is an independent coin which does not depend on other coins. While BCH was created as a duplicate of bitcoin and became a supporter of crypto trading, where investors who have less capital can invest it in BCH. Both coins have good prospects which lately prices continue to rise. Today's ETH costs USD 175, while BCH costs USD 292.

While I am biased towards Ethereum since I am more convinced of its utility and future, there is no question that with all of its weakness and limitation I think that BCH can be here to stay and people who don't like it just have to ignore it for the time being. There are people loyally working for Ethereum which can also be true with BitcoinCash. BCH is definitely more controversial than ETH though the latter is more reliable and for me more solid and time-tested. A good investor is advised to have them both but for now the reason I am biased is because I only have Eth in my wallet.
2559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen to ethereum in this bullrun? on: May 10, 2019, 05:20:09 AM
bitcoin has gone up to $6200, but why is ethereum still stagnant at $170. Does this mean that ethereum won't rise again?. I was thinking of buying ethereum but if I look at it like this I might cancel it. does this mean that ethereum will be one of the altcoins that won't rise in the bullrun this time?

I can sense that you are not alone with this kind of feeling towards Ethereum. There seems to be lack of interest, enthusiasm, excitement and meaningful activities in the Ethereum eco-sphere. Maybe because there are now new big ICO projects that uses Eth? Or maybe because the devs are not churning out new exciting news about the cryptocurrency? I still believe that Ethereum has one of the best potential of all the coins we already have and this is considered to be the next big thing to Bitcoin and is the heir apparent, as they say. So what happened? Maybe we should be asking Vitalik on this to shed us some light and updates. As for now, hands down the excitement and growth is with Bitcoin and Eth is not catching up that fast.
2560  Economy / Economics / Re: Deflation based currency such as Bitcoin to counter promote economy. on: May 10, 2019, 04:40:21 AM
No government would completely depend on BTC as their primary source of payment since that would be a foolish choice here. BTC is still an extremely volatile currency due to which it is highly unstable and many basically view it as an asset primarily.

In my view, since we are living in a very diversified world even if there will be massive adoption of Bitcoin it does not mean that it will be used as the exclusive medium of commerce and domestic and international commerce. Bitcoin then can be a very good and very attractive choice but there will be no monopoly as that can be detrimental to any economy. Bitcoin is not coming to the global choice to limit the choices of the people. Right now, there are still limitations that Bitcoin is facing  though it is evolving.
