1802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Bulls Near Exhaustion on: June 03, 2019, 03:25:10 AM

I am actually waiting for some corrections so that I can buy bitcoin at a lower price. And I think I am not alone many are still on the sideline just waiting and waiting for a little dip before diving into the waters. Bitcoin has been this way since I can remember, except if course if we are in the winter phase.
1803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Society (with ReligionlessFAITH) (You can still have other faiths) on: June 03, 2019, 03:07:07 AM
Should we make one?

We could avoid tax other than the bitcoin tx fee because of our faith (I actually have a way to by pass that) and a way to collect tx fees for funds for projects for the Society, We could live out in international waters or even in Canada and make whatever laws we wanted pretty much. We could be free.

Can we avoid taxes just for creating a new religious order that "worships" bitcoin? Actually, this is a good project to start with. So since it is quite easy for anyone to register a new religion in any democratic country, so maybe why not? Let's see if the government will eventually approve of such a tax-free deal. But I bet that if one is approve this can create a ripple effect for many to also the same and pretty soon we will have tens or maybe hundreds of bitcoin denominations all over the world. That might be scary for me.
1804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get drunk with Lightning on: June 02, 2019, 05:23:56 PM
At the same time there are places like our local pizza shops actually accepting lightning payments and guess what ?
It is working and at the same time it's creating more awareness about Bitcoins.
We are getting dual benefits
1. We are able to use it as a currency
2. More and more people are trying to get involved.

Years before it was like * do you have PayPal ? *
Now I see like , do you have the lightning network of Bitcoin ?

This growth is amazing , how years pass and technology develop and am glad we all are able to keep up with it.

Yeah, this is the big dream coming true as more and more merchants are participating in accepting the bitcoin via the Lighting Network. I am just hoping that more and more people will be using their bitcoin for small purchases so that we can prove to the world that indeed bitcoin is the new money for today's generation and beyond. Long Live LN!
1805  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Satoshi Line Up, Pick from most likey to least likely. on: June 02, 2019, 04:49:09 PM

On a serious note you can have N number of speculation on who the real creator is, unless someone signs a message from the genesis block, no one can claim that spot.

That would be the most logical step for the real Satoshi to do and everyone will really believe on that no question asked. But the problem is that since we are all dealing here with fake claimants to be the real guy, they can't and won't do it so they usually formulate so many excuses and reasons just for the fools to believe on them. I think the list will grow in the coming months and years especially if there can be a bull run for our favorite coin since many do like the limelight of the media and the attention of the people. So who can be our next candidate next week? Maybe we can also add Donald Trump to the list.
1806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will I get LAMBO for investing in the Reverse Bitcoin Hardfork (RBH)? on: June 02, 2019, 04:16:19 PM
In my own opinion, bitcoin hard fork coins are just trash. There is only one legit bitcoin and that is bitcoin core. Hard fork coins are famous before since you get them free depending on the amount of btc you have in a certain wallet if it supports the fork. There had been a lot of forks and altcoins claiming to be the real bitcoin.

The people in the world of cryptocurrency has now slowly matures so we can not anymore be led to believe something which is outdated and sometimes baseless. In this regard, we don't give value anymore to hard-fork of bitcoin like it has some real value. Now, I am not saying that RBH will not have any value because most of the potential of the project hinges on the team behind it...and though hypes can be pivotal at the end of the day real value will show up once the project is put under the light of analysis so I guess I am advising you to take a look closer before jumping into it.
1807  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: STATE SUPPORTED MINING - 0.04 - 0.055USD/KWh on: June 02, 2019, 04:05:34 PM
I found this from the kind people over at Climatescope

http://global-climatescope.org/results/md

From what it shows is there has been a steady decline in the power generation in Moldova thought this data only shows to 2017.

That is quite an intriguing data though this is needing some confirmation and of course maybe updates since we are now in 2019. Anyway, I find this story actually very positive especially from the viewpoint of the miners as many countries are concerned about their limiting supply and what mining can do to lessen it. The offer from the government seems very attractive but of course we are wishing that this is truly real and that there are no strings attached to it. Will there be a rush from bitcoin miners to transfer their operation to Moldova? Let's see what kind of reaction the country can get from the miners.
1808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Ocean Protocol is now Available on KuCoin Exchange! on: June 02, 2019, 03:51:46 PM

Glad to see the Ocean Protocol just listed in one of the best cryptocurrency exchanges of the industry which is Kucoin. I am sure that this is the tip of the iceberg for this platform as there are so many developmental plans about to be accomplished lead by a good team of experts and professionals. I am enthusiastic about Ocean Protocol because I actually supported this project before and I am now seeing the fruits of my labor and investment coming true. Congrats and good luck!
1809  Other / Off-topic / Re: Help An African Child with Blockchain technology (HAAC BLOCKCHAIN) on: June 02, 2019, 03:24:52 PM
Africa, African child, Non-Profit Campaign, cryptocurrency.......this sounds really legit to me, what do you guys think? Wink

Remember that promise of further action means nothing with irreversible currency and anonymous accounts.

They collect as much as they can and once it's time to transfer the coin to the charity, they can just disappear.

I hate to think that some people can be using the unfortunate situation of poor people so they can get what they want. Now, am not saying that this project is a scam but we have already seen the same strategy before so maybe I need more convincing information that this is truly legit and will not be wasting our trust, confidence and of course money. To people who are using the blockchain and the children for their own evil design: please refrain. Let's give it to people who really care for the poor children of Africa and I am hoping that HAAC Blockchain is the one for them.
1810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Create your own cryptocurrency for $10 | CreateMyCoin on: June 02, 2019, 02:59:55 PM

Wow! So now it can be so easy and inexpensive to create one's cryptocurrency. Actually, there is a big potential for your service. I may start my own cryptocurrency not necessarily to make money per se but just to be able to claim that I have my own stake on this industry. Now, it would have been better if you guys also have an exchange where we can sell and buy individually-owned coins.
1811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Introducing Smathium on: June 02, 2019, 02:45:26 PM
Do you know there are few loyalty platforms? most of them are low perform, I don't know why so. Maybe it's because people don't really interested in that or the industry is not really good for most people. I think, you can make it better if you really working on developing the platform and to massively get adopted by people.

The problem with similar programs is low adoption of the market both from the user and merchant sides. Any project with low participation of the intended market will really suffer and may slowly die a natural death. That is why it is quite a big challenge for any project to first build a strong community and then make sure that it is properly marketed. I am hoping that Smathium will leave no stone upturned to make it a top program in this industry.
1812  Other / Off-topic / Re: My facebook account got locked on: June 02, 2019, 02:33:39 PM
Today, I've got an email from Facebook, saying that someone was trying to login into my account and therefore my Facebook account will remain locked until I verify my identity. I tried to verify my identity via text message and via the option to login from another device, but nothing happens. I guess my Facebook is lost... Anyone having the same issue?

I think I lost two Facebook accounts years ago due to being suspected of doing things against the TOS of the site. At that time, the site usually ask the owner to guess who is the owner of pictures presented which kinda difficult for me to accomplish. Later, I did not encounter the same problem with Facebook even if I am using at least two accounts actively. Sometimes Facebook can be difficult to dealt with. I am hoping that you will eventually get back your locked account soon.

1813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] 🔥🔥 KINGCUAN | Weekly PAYOUT on: June 02, 2019, 02:18:17 PM
Hello,
Thanks for your feedback
Its better check our whitepaper directly: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11HCKqLP8nHMh4it8Xt4y4AyjCQ5DfW2v/view

How come we scam, we will list in exchanger this june
Now our token can trade in tokenjar

High probability that this is project is scam, the team has plagiarized its whitepaper and this is the thread about it - Kingcuan Plagiarized

Do not join to this project bounty campaign, you could be just wasting your time here. Be aware and be careful.

I want to know for sure if you guys just plagiarized your WhitePaper...seems to me that this is a big accusation that should be cleared once and for all unless it is true, of course. I look at your website and you have so many grammatical errors in English...which can mean that you forgot to hire a good translator. Being traded in an exchange especially that of Tokenjar is not a guarantee that the project is real and clean...exchanges listing can be done easily if one has the money to pay for it.

1814  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your gambling experience on: June 02, 2019, 02:02:42 PM
Hello! What do you think about gambling? And what was your experience. I communicated with many people on this topic and their opinion is very different. I think that gambling is now very developed. Manufacturers and developers are inventing more and more innovations to lure customers and give them the opportunity to diversify the game. There are many types of slot machines. I prefer to first play the free demo version and only then earn. Just last week, I discovered Play OJO. Just a couple of days I had enough to figure out and now I have tripled my deposit.

I am fortunately not into gambling because I am always afraid to lose money no matter how small it can be. However, this kind of fear can also mean that I am not good at seizing good opportunities to earn money that involves some capital. Gambling of any kind can be surely addicting and it has been an instrument for many people to lose their savings and investments so we have to learn to control it and maybe take it as just an entertainment with a limit. Don't always think of winning because anybody can lose in the game.
1815  Other / Off-topic / Health is Wealth: You Take Supplements? on: June 02, 2019, 01:50:16 PM

Health is very important and should be given the top priority by anyone who is looking for a good, happy and fulfilling life. That is why, aside from good diet, many people are also taking food supplements making sure that their bodies got enough nutrients like vitamins, minerals, enzymes, probiotic, antioxidants and others in our daily fight against aging and diseases.

I am taking fish oil, garlic oil, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, spirulina and sometimes tumeric capsules. At the moment, there are so many choices for us available and here in my country there are already sellers who accept bitcoin as one of their mode of payments (MOP).

What are the food supplements you are into?
1816  Other / Off-topic / Re: "25th James Bond" who's looking forward and love those classic movies on: June 02, 2019, 01:30:13 PM

I am a fan of the James Bond movie franchise specially Pierce Brosnan as the leading man though I also find  Daniel Craig to be perfect for the role. One thing for sure is that in all of its movies, the story is wonderful, the plot is mesmerizing and the actions with special effects are superb. Truly satisfying to the senses of the viewing public, it is no wonder why James Bond is one of the most popular and most successful series of movies. I am looking for the next James Bond run in our local theaters soon in April 2020...wow that could have been the time when bitcoin can reach $15,000 or more.
1817  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you "Tuned In" to being independent? on: June 02, 2019, 01:19:54 PM
Do you often think about creating new, useful opportunities or do you tend to follow the crowd and get in late on the hottest projects?

I tried both.
I started new company and tried to create and offer new digital product to the public but without success.
Now, I feel it's much more easy just to follow the crowd and search for the hottest projects, much less stress any way Smiley

Sometimes making your own path can really be difficult though the reward for those who make it can be staggering. There are risks and there are rewards, of course. In case, we don't make it on our own, there are now many opportunities that we can follow for more chances of success. The most important thing is that we are doing something which hopefully can give us what we want.
1818  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Temperament Says About You on: June 02, 2019, 01:05:42 PM

Quote
Melancholy - As the name suggests is the constant face value mourners. They always look sad and reticent. You definitely want to keep your distance meeting them for the first time. Introvert, Moody, Lone Ranger, Meticulous and Fastidious to details (a Mel can iron his stockings and bedspreads. He is that meticulous, sadly). Perfection driven. Tough on situations (sometimes unnecessarily). They are slow at making up their minds on things but once they do, they hardly back out. Difficult to trust others but once they do they can be fun to be with.

My Expectations: Difficult set to deal with but I can confidently count on their words as bond. They are difficult to win over and sometimes it's a pain trying to even convince them. But once this is achieved, I feel at home with them. This is my best temperament. I can employ someone of this disposition once I am sure of willingness to learn on their part.

I am melancholic by nature and has been this way since childhood. There was a time when I suffer from identity crisis and my life had no direction then but eventually I overcome that phase with no scars on my inner self. I have no problem if I am alone and there are times when I intentionally avoided people. I can be easy to dealt with generally as I am not fond of making so many complaints.
1819  Other / Off-topic / Re: FBI Connects Cyber Attacks and North Korea on: June 02, 2019, 12:53:41 PM
I don't believe that North Korea has so good hackers. Only the elite of North Korea has access to  computers and internet. Maybe they hired Russian or Chinese hackers.

That can be a big possibility. Or they hired Chinese or Russians to teach and train a pool of North Koreans to be good at the job. With enough incentives and of course some small threats if they don't well, some genius in North Korea will have no choice but to do their best and show results otherwise their own lives can be in danger. There is nothing the government of NoKor will not do just to get the results they all wanted...including hacking banks and cryptocurrency exchanges. I am hoping that soon good countries can find ways to deal with this menace and have NoKor a taste of its own medicine.
1820  Other / Off-topic / Inflation Galore on: June 02, 2019, 12:42:15 PM

Inflation is the big reason why our money could purchase less as time goes on...what you can do with a dollar today may not be the same as years fly by. Inflation is the reason why prices keeps on rising, meanwhile our income is not. Here is the figure of inflation in some select countries:

Venezuela: 10,000,000%
Zimbabwe: 73%
Sudan: 49%
Argentina: 43%
Iran: 37%
South Sudan: 24%
Liberia: 22%
Yemen: 20%
Angola: 17%
Turkey: 17%
Uzbekistan: 16%
Sierra Leone: 15%
Libya: 15%
Haiti: 14%
Egypt: 14%
Nigeria: 11%

In my country, we have right now a more stable economy which is spared from suffering from uncontrollable inflation rate -- it is currently standing at less than 4% which is quite manageable.

What about in your own country?
