2561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much bitcoin price now is affecting your bets? on: December 27, 2016, 07:13:51 PM
I won't be affected until it reaches $1000, as I am still fine with my BTC0.1 bets that I can easily place without any fear.
I know that $1000 is not too far, but I still make those high bets because I win mostly and want to collect coins as much as I can until price spikes and will sell them all at once.
2562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CarlesPuyol Prediction Thread. profit: 2.35BTC join and build your bankroll on: December 27, 2016, 07:09:58 PM
Warm up for today

LIVERPOOL FC V STOKE CITY
TOTAL CORNERS: UNDER 10.5 @ 2.03

Hey dude, congrats on your win.
I always try to randomly pick any of the tipsters' bets here, and I win mostly on your bets.
Keep up the good work Carles, hoping to see some more winning picks.
2563  Economy / Speculation / Re: I sold half of my COLD STORAGE coins on: December 27, 2016, 07:00:08 PM
Mate, majority of the people posting here don't even bother checking in on the facts. They just post, make sure it meets 100 words and get paid! Pretty simple life for most of them. It's a repeat process all the time, just check their other posts. It's pretty darn annoying how all the people posting here have literally tons of the same bullshit level posts and nothing is being done to stop it. All for a few cents.  Cry

I'd be relieved if it merely were that mercenary category of poster that was crediting this guy's tall tales, but unfortunately it is from posters I know to be all too legit.

You seem to be correct, because he just trolled up and gave chance to everyone here to just mess up with their own "speculative thinking" that how much OP could have had and how much could he have sold? If he actually sold it, he should just come ahead and prove it to everyone that he did, else making a thread like this will just give fire to number of bullshit comments and nothing.
2564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you store >100 Bitcoins? on: December 27, 2016, 06:54:08 PM
I think that trezor would be the best choice here, if the amount is that big.
Because the number of bitcoins is small, but its value is very high and you are soon to reach 1/10th of a million bucks, so storing them in something very secure is the only option.
2565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto bank on: December 27, 2016, 06:49:36 PM
You can surely remove banks out of the game and play it with blockchain alone, as there are many startups and even banks probably who are coming ahead, joining hands in using the blockchain technology to lower the burden and get everything done automatically and systematically.
But you should know one thing that banks are not a fan of bitcoins like you, so they won't let you work with it, so better choose one.
2566  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Share Your Daily Result Bitcoin on: December 27, 2016, 06:41:18 PM
Well I'll start, I've got around 235Th and make around 0.24BTC per a day

235 th/s? Then you might be operating a mining farm because acquiring such big terrahashes could only possible if you do have lots of asic miners. Its a good news that you are earning decent amount for everyday basis. In my situations i really like to mine bitcoins but dont have enough money to invest on.

Yes 235Th/s . It's moderately sized. Right now about 18 S9's and planning to grow over time

wow its a big hashrate and much of s9, i am sure that you have much of money to make this investment can work for you. i don't have 1THS but its only under 100 GHS and its on the cloud mining, i don't expecting to get much of bitcoin like you, but from the beginning i am mining, i have my ROI before the halving so its not problem for me now if i only get small profit.
Its really good and profitable for those persons who are capable to invest huge amounts on making mining farms.Yes, 18x s9 miners will give you profits in no time as long the price of electricity of the said place is low then expect the roi will be much more shorter.Cloud mining are not ideal to make profits and mostly of them are just  scams thats why its not really recommended.

But the cost of current S9 batch is much higher and they show that ROI is possible in more than a year (talking about results being shown after halving). So, taking into consideration those 374 days that they show that the miner needs to get ROI, is it still a profitable thing currently even with S9?
2567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: December 27, 2016, 06:21:22 PM
I think investing is better than gambling, but some would feel the other way.
Because they will only regret if they lose due to their own mistakes, but if invested and the place turns out scam, you may lose everything, right?
But the reason I think investing is good, is because there are lots of opportunities to choose from, and things which are sound with their own way of turning your investments into more profits should be a reason why you should invest into something but too much research is needed before moving ahead.
2568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Games Are So Much Fun on: December 27, 2016, 06:16:50 PM
Dice games have never been fun if you ask me, because I have mostly lost there and in other people's cases too, I have mostly seen everyone talking more about losses than wins because just a few people go home winning anything, others will just cry hard due to big losses and/or some wrong decisions due to greed.
2569  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Latest Paypal Claims for Terms on: December 27, 2016, 05:45:01 PM
The most interesting factor that I came to know is, cookie thing. I mean, how can a company or any reputed firm can put their nose inside someone's personal stuff? How is it possible for them to know what's going on into someone's gadget? Do they have something very special which can detect those "tabs" things and help them to limit such accounts? Please correct me here if I misunderstood anything.
2570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: December 27, 2016, 05:30:51 PM
Yea I think bitcoin has no competition. As for now new crypto currencies are trying their level best to match up with bitcoins. But they are failing. So after for now bicoin has no competition

As of now gold and other presious stones only competition for gold. In few years bitcoin would be the best stock around the world. Still i do not know why any government not accepting bitcoin is the centralized money.

Bitcoin is not centralized, it is decentralized which is the only common reason why governments are not accepting it, because they will not be able to track the transactions and money being circulated in the way of bitcoins, and so there is no possibility left for them to trace black-marketers, drug sellers, dark market dealers and terrorist activities which include money laundering.
2571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: December 27, 2016, 05:27:33 PM
It is neurological and part of your brain and the human condition. We wired to be greedy so we must fight this greed with logic and reason.
Gambling can easily become addictive even if you just play it for fun because you want to see how much you will win like a "highscore" or if you addicted because of profits then it is even worse for you.
If someone is playing for fun and have other source of income then I do not think that he will be addicted to gambling because he will have to give time to his job and he will know the value of it without of which he will not be able to gamble again as he will not remained with any money in his hands.
Well i have my cousin that actually addicted in gambling even he has a good or great job and huge salary every month he will still gamble and honestly its affecting his work because he always late in his duty because of gambling in the end he fire from his boss, and i think his job is not important to him because he is still gamble even he is fire in his job.

When gambling becomes so much addicting to a person, he just forgets all his responsibilities as well as family and starts loving those games with which he spends all his time with and then, if he is even getting paid $10,000 a month, he would still gamble to go for more money as greed is what makes a person helpless when it comes to money. You need to take him away from those games to let him stop gambling.
2572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What gambling method are you using for Dice? on: December 27, 2016, 04:43:29 PM
I would never trust martingale because it just adds up double to our older losses, and so a random bet has always been better in case we lose the last one because random bets win eventually and can even up the score, while martingale is something which is fixed.
2573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be considered a "high risk investment"? on: December 27, 2016, 04:41:29 PM
Gambling always come with a risk to loose , and the risk is getting higher at the current bitcoin price with a daily big increase so it is better to hold till the price of bitcoin steady at all level.
i think it do not need to stop gambling i think if you have fixed a limit for your gambling  as i have fixed a limit comparing the value with bitcoin and then play it with according to my limit.
It is true gambling is always take risk that is 50/50 percent of winning and loosing you can't stop playing gambling you can't either fix your self to not being addicted on gambling once your start loosing you will start chasing what you've lost alreayd in gambling the higer of your temper to play the higer chance that you will gonna lose.

The percentage that you are talking about, are not 50/50 but the odds that you get actually decide the percentage of winning or losing your bet.
So, the risk is decided based on that, but still chances of losing are always higher because house always tries to win and that's why, gambling is "high risk", but not investment.

2577  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in India? Not for a LOOOOONG time. on: December 26, 2016, 02:48:36 PM
As stated by the OP, bitcoin is truly an advancement. But when it comes to India, its not much familiar among the common people. Little by little things were getting better and recently a sudden and increased adoption took place when the country's currency went valueless.

I heard that some demonetization took place there and this gave bitcoins much more importance to black money holders there.
They just transacted all their cash for very high prices per bitcoin, but this won't last long. Still, this has gained some more focus of users in India towards bitcoins.

2579  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earning for post on: December 20, 2016, 06:07:39 PM
but I think copying contents from other sites in here is not permitted ( I am not sure though ).
Yes, it is not permitted to copy pasted from other sites without adding the main source where you get it. Plagiarism has zero tolerance on here.

Can i earn for quality post?
I have read somewhere in this forum that i can earn by posting good stuff here. Is it true or i can earn in the forum just by donations or by something else that i don't know so far
What do you mean with bolded sentence? AFAIK, you will only get "Donator" stats when you donated 10 BTC and "VIP" stats when you donated 50 BTC.

I meant that if i post something great, valuable, if i share my knowledge for free, maybe i could get some rewards  Tongue
but now i know, anyway thks

You will not get rewarded for sharing your knowledge unless you are enrolled in a signature campaign because you advertise a company's website while contributing to the community, and that way you will be able to earn some fixed/pay per post rewards. But your opinion matters, so it should be constructive and not something which may be considered "useless".
2580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you gamble your (or your child's) school fund? on: December 20, 2016, 06:01:53 PM
I am not that young so that I can talk about myself, and I never committed such mistake for myself.
When it comes to my child, I will definitely not do that because I can't compromise with the education and future of my child and so, I won't gamble too much, at least not my child's school fund.
