2582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: November 27, 2016, 07:48:07 PM
Hello Guys, I would like to know you're understanding about online gambling and real life gambling. Since here in the philippines online gambling is now illegal. I'm just curious what's the difference about this too. Why make online gambling illegal?

Online gambling is being called illegal in the philippines because online gambling doesn't pay for tax in philippines government. They want the citizen of the philippines to only gamble in casinos who are paying for tax for goverment only. The tax are used for government projects but most of the time corrupt official are the one who are gaining a lot from the taxes.
Now you see they are actually tax minded and hence they are calling online casinos as illegal and its pretty horrendous that the government want to take tax even from people are are loosing money in gambling, seriously desperate government. Because either they should ban gambling offline and online both else allow both.
to me in those areas where gambling is legal and you can legally register a online casino with our government, they have to pay tax on it, no matter you are running casino with bitcoin or any other currency, but you must have to pay tax.

Paying taxes should not be a big deal whether you are running a casino or you go to a casino and play there, because when you win as a player or you win as a casino owner (house edge), paying tax should not be a problem. Gambling online is best for me as I love to play with different bitcoin addresses and receive my coins on different addresses and have them separated automatically to let them remain safe.
2583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your aim in gambling???? on: November 27, 2016, 07:43:21 PM
My aim in gambling is to make a lot of bitcoins by putting bets on tennis matches which I fully understand as a sports-person.
I want to buy a big tennis court and let people learn tennis there from me, that's my dream that I want to fulfill as soon as I get rich doing gambling.
2584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: November 27, 2016, 07:41:01 PM
I always heard to my mind instead of going with my heart, because in gambling, you should never trust your emotions but your instinct.
If you can't stop gambling when losing, then this is not for you, and if you know how to deal with it and how and where to use your skills and knowledge to win, then you can do it.
2585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: November 27, 2016, 07:26:15 PM
If you are a league follower, know the stats, who is in form etc, this not a gambling!
Gambling is when you play roulette and anything can happen.

That's not correct because whether you know it or not, betting on sports is also not easier because even underdogs can win sometimes against teams for whom odds are in their favor. So, it's not relevant what you are saying that only roulette and casino is gambling as many have knowledge about these things too, but they still lose and even in sports, the same problem is there.
2586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you like when gambling alone/ with your friend? on: November 27, 2016, 07:05:30 PM
I love to gamble alone because it allows me to concentrate on the bets I will be placing, because I need to stay calm when making bets with big amounts as anything can happen in sports and I need to remain very careful when it comes to gambling.
2587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: November 27, 2016, 07:03:40 PM
When you reach your goal, that's the time when you should alert yourself to stop because greed rings up your mind and you should know how to cut the call, else you might gamble again and lose what you already had.
2588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There is no life in Gambling can you accept this....?? on: November 27, 2016, 07:02:11 PM
There is no life in gambling, but it can be done for fun purposes.
That's a different thing that you use such funds for your living, but you should never make it a habit as such spendings could lead you live a luxurious lifestyle which is good but just think that what would happen if you lose some day and you don't have what you need to fulfill those habits?
2589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest Win Ever on: November 27, 2016, 07:00:31 PM
Just as I lost 2 btc once, I also won some big amounts like 0.5 btc, 1.35 btc and 1.89 btc on tennis bets alone that I used to gamble upon when I was not posting my picks here. I have been a fan of tennis and I love betting on such matches.
2590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest Loss Ever. on: November 27, 2016, 06:58:45 PM
I lost 2 btc once on a tennis bet I made accidentally, yeah you heard it right, I made it accidentally as I was going to send 0.2 btc and accidentally sent 2 btc. But I was sure that the person will win as odds were in his favor, but he didn't deliver and I cried hard.
2591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi and Bitcoin value on: November 27, 2016, 06:56:01 PM
If Satoshi ever appears, which is not likely to happen, then that will surely give bitcoins some more goodwill as its original dev would be joining hands and getting back on work. And who says Satoshi's a criminal?
Well, if he'd be, then his coins won't have been in his wallets till now.
2592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gradma knows about bitcoin. on: November 27, 2016, 06:50:25 PM
I took some time and watched the video and I think that this is what we need.
All age groups should take interest into bitcoins because it is not made just for teenagers or some specified age groups, as we need adoption, so age should never matter.
2593  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: November 27, 2016, 06:48:46 PM
The key feature of bitcoin is it can't be controlled or looked after by anybody, it needs to be circulated to let the network run ahead.
This is the best part of bitcoins because if it would be controlled, we might not see stability in markets at such high prices.
2594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if POKEMON GO let people earn Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2016, 06:46:57 PM
If this turns into reality, then it would give bitcoins a chance to get accepted and used as a reward in many other games and this would help bitcoins to gain a lot of popularity and adoption which is great.
2595  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How and where do I store my bitcoins? on: November 27, 2016, 06:45:35 PM
I would suggest you to put all your coins separately because that way, you will have all of them differentiated for different purposes.
I mean, you may store 2 coins in blockchain for gambling, 3 coins in electrum for trading purposes, and 5 coins in offline wallet to put it safe.
2596  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to learn on: November 27, 2016, 06:43:27 PM
I always played at their site, but I want to say one thing that I noticed, I mean what I think is that, they are rigged.
When I send something, it should show up immediately, but even after sending with high fees, the bet (trade) takes a lot of time and my expected number changes till then so I lose.
2597  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: November 27, 2016, 06:41:05 PM
I think that you took a great decision by doing that.
Very few people learn from their mistakes and stop repeating them, because I have seen many going bankrupt just because they can't stop themselves doing trading as it becomes an addiction just like gambling.
2598  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Manipulation is real on: November 27, 2016, 06:39:28 PM
What about people in India buying bitcoins for 16% more than the global price?

I think the sheeps goes together, when the price start to increase, everyone buy and hold, buy and sell for a higher price...

I really don't if there's just "one"(few) people behind it.
In india there are buying 1 bitcoin at the price of $950 or more than the price of global price but some indians are really smart buying bitcoin some of them are scammers hahaha they think that they can manipulate people too. But if there are going to be a trader they are going to be a pumper soon.

The ones who are buying bitcoins at that price are the ones who had black money in their pockets, because their government has banned higher denomination notes currently. They have nothing to do with the price that we see on preev, or even $1000 speculation. That's the beauty of bitcoins that it can be sold for separate rates at different places.
2599  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do we cross the 1000 USD barrier? on: November 27, 2016, 06:37:11 PM
I think that the end of December or starting week of January, 2k17 should come up with some surprises and we might see boom in the price of bitcoins.
Still, I don't want to be over-bullish as the price is already much high and I think stability should remain in the markets rather than getting it pumped.
2600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Explanation for the 710-750 drops? on: November 27, 2016, 06:35:37 PM
People buying less, people selling more means drop and the other side means a positive approach for bitcoins.
Demand and supply is one thing here, speculation and reality the other. The less the people sell, the more increase we will see in price.
