2581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 30, 2021, 12:17:58 PM
Maybe the frustrations are already building inside, if Lebron is a real leader, he would help to fix this problem and get their ass together so they'll reach the playoffs. They have been losing games already against a playoffs team, so if they are consistent that way, they'll stand no chance in the first round in case they are lucky they'll qualify.

A leader is useless if the whole team is not cooperating. He is putting in all the works, effort, and loads but still not enough to carry the team. I think the Coach should be responsible for this. If he sees someone is struggling, like Westbrook even at the end he managed to get a triple-double, he should lessen the playing time of WB and allow others to fill the role. But the problem is, once their backup players are now on the floor, they are not playing on their usual. Some guys in the Lakers can't handle the pressure of a close game.

But isn't it odd that this sort of thing always happens to LeBron-led teams?

E.g. people blamed the Cavs' coach Tyron Lue for their crappy record back when LeBron was there, but really the problem was LeBron himself - his play style only meshes well with certain players and not others.

And he always needs the limelight, so it's difficult for players to adjust around him.

They didn't blame the coach, remember that Ty Lue won a championship with the Cavaliers.

The struggle only starts when Irving left the Cavaliers, and since we know that Lebron could not handle his team without another superstar, so the struggle begins and we see how Lebron being different from Kobe who can lead the team for success.
2582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Martinez Feb 19, 2022 on: December 29, 2021, 12:24:12 PM
^^ I have to check Fernando Daniel Martinez record and see how tough this guy is:

https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/809729

13 wins 0 losses with 8 KO. So this is a banger and has power as well. So for sure this fight will be very exciting to watch because of the two knock out artist and obviously this fight can in a a massive knock out and hopefully it will be Jerwin who will win this fight.

That's a good challenge for Ancajas, fighting an undefeated fighter is not easy because his opponent has all the confidence and will be aggressive in the fight. I know Ancajas is a smart figher, he has one lose but he is a quality fighter so I think he will take care of this opponent.
2583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 29, 2021, 11:43:55 AM
Guys, let me bring this question that's on my mind when I've been seeing posts about Lebron on social media.

Why there's much hate on the guy? I think this has been there for a very long time and I just can't stop thinking why people hates him? Is it that I'm on the wrong feed and wrong people to look at as they hate him?

Or there's really something bad that they've seen on him?

Self-preferences, mate.

It's like the same way you are against a certain player, no matter what the status or how great that is, not just in basketball if you have one. It's not because, LeBron leaving the Cavaliers for the first time to form a superteam, LeBrick, LeEvict, LeCoach, LeGM, LeFlop, LeBlame, LeBrick, etc.

When LeBron enters the league or even way back in his amateur days, there are haters already. You just have to live with it. Smiley
Well, that makes sense.

You're right that it's just that we as fans, have our preferences and that will never be gone to one's attitude.

We may love him and hate him, just as the other players that also have haters. It just so happens that Lebron is one of the most popular in this era although he's already aging.

Despite the fact that there are many haters of Lebron, that doesn't change that he will soon be in the hall of fame the moment he retires. At his age now, he is still active and playing very well and continue to break his own record to be at the top, maybe we can't compare him with Jordan but he is making his own name.

Sure, there is an argument that James could be on top, but not yet in the Mt. Rushmore. Scoring wise though, he might break Malone's record if he keeps on playing in the next 2-3 (or least the time wherein him and his son playing together). We can't compare era's in the 2000's we have Kobe and then later it was Lebron. And as you have said, haters gonna hate, and as long as Lebron is playing, there are a lot of critics around.

If I would rank the greatest NBA players of all time, this will be my ranking.

1. Jordan
2. Kobe
3. Lebron

No statistical basis, that's my personal opinion which only bases are on their impact on their respective teams, and I think Lebron is not clutch enough like Jordan and Kobe who are willing to take the last shot.
2584  Economy / Speculation / Re: The good moves of Bitcoin. on: December 28, 2021, 10:48:58 PM
Do we really know the good moves of Bitcoin and the nature of the market.

We are not sure if that only be a GOOD move or that be a bad move as well. Perhaps, it is not always on the uptrend motion, sometime we got decline which mostly makes people get panic and then sell their crypto.
I'm supposed to think that by next year it gonna be bullish again but nobody knows...it is all a guess and like gambling, we never know that we will win or are just about to lose. So, if you trust Bitcoin as for investment, then go for it but if not, you may have to stop coz that will only result in nothing good.
2585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: December 27, 2021, 09:36:27 PM
I even received a lot of emails from different casinos and it never bothered me coz I don't mind those promotional emails I just read and ignore them, that's it. Thus it looks interesting and important to us? I don't think so. Coz even I was in gambling addiction still, I don't make myself check all of them.
May their support system be slow, it really feels bad for us users seeking immediate action. But that was the case, well, it is up to us to make a deal of these emails, I think you don't mind it and unsubscribe them. Then it was over.
2586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Wallet Hacking through Telegram on: December 27, 2021, 08:59:09 PM
These hackers make their way to hack wallets and that seems easy especially for not techy people to fall into their trick like auto-download malware. It sometimes happens that due to our curiosity it leads to hacking like wanting to know what is inside the link and then clicking it. I think this must be seriously taken care of for now and have to be careful when someone does send anything like that as this might be malware that cost us a lot and lost control of our wallets. That is why it is very important to keep our keys separately, not stored on our PC or phones.
2587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 27, 2021, 02:01:47 PM
^I pick two of those games that interest you and my bets are locked.
LA Clippers versus Brooklyn Nets - Nets -4.5 No Paul George, a big problem. They keep on losing last week without him so if the Nets are completely rested then it can become an easy win.
I agree with your statement, so I will follow your pick on this one. The nets even beat the Lakers without Durant, so it's not a problem now against the LA Clippers without their main player.

Phoenix Suns versus Memphis Grizzlies - Suns -8.5 No Melton and Brooks for the Grizzlies and that's a lot without good reserves that could fill their shoes. That's like a -25 points contribution by those two.
Good luck.
Plus Phoenix Suns were embarassed on their last game, so they'll likely make a big comeback and that might result to a big domination with some heavy margin win. GL, both of your pick looks good, tailing you in this one too.
2588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: December 27, 2021, 01:42:37 PM

Porter never really liked Spence! Spence exposed their sparring match before they fought and he played Porter style of fighting by saying Porter fights like he is swimming! Also, Spence said he doesn't like Porter style of fighting! Spence don't even consider Porter a boxer and he told Porter that to his face! He said Porter fights like he is playing football

To conclude here, they both have bad blood on each other.
This is why we are reading this kind of tirades.
But we will see the final verdict when both of these boxers will fight inside the ring.
Ugas, I believe, is just doing his preparations silently as I've seen when he fought Pacquiao, the respect you've seen is quite admirable.
So win or lose, I think, Ugas got his followers already. A lot noticed his good behavior from his last fight.

Porter and Spence does not have to throw bad words against each other as they already have fought and we know who won. This is a battle between Spence and Ugas, this is a big one so no more talking on Porter as he is not a popular challenger now.

More sad news coming out after Christmas.
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-covid-tracker-warriors-draymond-green-heats-kyle-lowry-bulls-lonzo-ball-enter-protocols/
Quote
NBA COVID tracker: Warriors' Draymond Green, Heat's Kyle Lowry, Bulls' Lonzo Ball enter protocols
These are players who contribute a big impact on their respective teams. Now, betting lines will be unpredictable again especially when the Warriors meet the Nuggets on Wednesday.
Sure they are a good team even without Draymond Green but they are far greater when he is on the floor facilitating the offense and with his high defensive mindset that infects the whole team.
Fact! Especially without Ball on the Bulls, this team would really strive more to secure their team as they're at more risk now. As for the Warriors, they will still lead the conference as their team has almost perfect chemistry and the players really know their role and what to do. But yes, even if the Warriors is still a tough team to beat, they're more vulnerable now without Green's presence and power assists and rebounds, because he's really an effective offensive player especially his defensive tactics are highly needed for the teams security.
This will be an unstoppable news for players who are in covid-19 health protocol, but I agree with what the NBA are doing, instead of halting the season, they allow it to conitnue in a normal way. Yes, Green is really a big piece of the pie in terms of the success of the Warriors, without him, I don't know if the Warriors will still become the number 1 team, that's real talk.
2590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIBA Fever on: December 27, 2021, 10:50:02 AM
The market has been flooded with SHIB fake projects and I hope people could find the right one, and not fall into this group of clone projects.
I can't really imagine seeing these numbers, 66? It is probably there are more to come in a few days from now. What I think is that we need to have some regulations to combat this kind of activities, were not making them fully stop but at least we are trying to minimize them and not to ruin the image of the market as this could lead to that particular once tolerated.

As long as there are people that will not use their common sense and obvious thinking, there are always be people that will fall on that kind of scheme. Can't imagine that with simply putting the name of SHIB, others will think that it's a legit project and will skip doing DYOR to verify anything.

I'm not a bad person but I think sometimes it's good to see people falling on that trap. Without the worst experience, they will not learn their lesson. Others are even willing to pick a fight because of that argument.
And the more we let this scam thing spread and continue their evil doings, the more it slows the adoption and the time will come that no new investors to try. I'm not sure if these people will change their attitude and ability to learn from their bad experiences as it was just like to see that they still fall into the trap.
DYOR is a thing to do and a must as this will be the tool to save them from getting scammed. But if they will never change and keep blind investing like these coins, and seems so hopeless.
2591  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about staking? on: December 27, 2021, 09:50:17 AM
Staking is the best way to get profits without trading because staking just fixed deposit . We can only check the fixed interest rate frequently after depositing some dollars on staking.
Best way passively but among all of the ways in earning crypto, it's not the best for me. But who won't be happy getting some profits while you're doing nothing and staking it?

Just choose those wallets that allows you to withdraw anytime and you don't have any commitment of putting it into a locked savings/staking.
As I use Binance for staking, The flexible term will let you withdraw your funds at any time.
That you right, who will never get happy while doing nothing but it gains profit from staking? But, we have to be cautious about what exchanges we use when staking, I hope we don't fall into non-reputed sites, or else, it is our big regrets later. And it must be clear to what term we preferred to use and as well as the coin coz this will vary in terms and APY.
2592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fall of fiat|Rise of Bitcoin on: December 26, 2021, 11:57:35 PM
The Turkish Lira has been losing in value the past few 2-3 years, (the crisis is ongoing since 2018, if I'm not mistaken) but the condition has worsened the past few months, due to Covid-19 and the rising inflation. However, I don't recall Turkey being cryptocurrency-friendly in general. So, Turkey definitely isn't even close to adopting Bitcoin, and is probably rumors.
2-3 years in decline is a worse condition. We also have such inflation due to covid -19 that it continuously affect our economic system but I can't really imagine having that long for not going to recover. We can't blame it on crypto as this country never accepts or embrace this new technology in the first place.

This is all about how the government official looks for the solution. It probably they are not yet done but their action is too slow that it takes several years to resolve the problem and I'm afraid that it even get worsen in the coming years.
2593  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No free money or crytocurrency on: December 26, 2021, 10:03:00 PM
That will be the thing we should have to keep in mind but too unfortunate that lazy people got to fall into that kind of trick.

"You can earn $100 by doing these simple things bla bla..." It can't be literally considered as FREE money, it is still the exchange to our services but some people will think it as they don't need capital (money) to have those $100. But if someone offers you to like " To double your money every hour by having some deposit"...that is obviously a scam, But I can't imagine why some people never saw it.
Well, I can't blame them, anyway as we all wanted to have money but sometimes we also need to think if that is right or wrong, or else, we just got scammed.
2594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Better to Hodl or Stake your Tokens? on: December 26, 2021, 09:23:03 PM
This is a pretty big question that people in this space have to consider. I personally like to do a bit of both in the sense that I stake the relatively stable tokens, and tend to just hodl the more volatile ones.

It is something like you feel we are safe. Like holding, you have your keys but if you were staking, you allow exchanges to take of your funds and it is possible it might get lost. Security is the main concern why people are preferred to just hold but as we aim for more profit we are able to take risks like some people do staking and even go for trading.
Personally, if I can do the risk, I certainly do both staking and holding. Of course, that really matters to us and besides, since we are in crypto already we are aware of the risk and the consequences that might happen someday.
2595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 26, 2021, 01:32:07 PM
I was checking the site to see if there's a game that is currently played, but I see that the results are already tallied so I guess the games today started early. Results for today's games are as follows.

TNT beat  Rain or shine 95-92
SMB beat DYIP 100-88

Because of our busy schedules, most of us (including me) forgot that we have games for today.

Luckily for me, my live bet won.  Grin

Failed to catch the SMB vs NorthPort game but definitely, I would be backing the SMB Beermen as they are now a hot team after winning their third consecutive games with Fajardo doing the support role while TR7 and their import doing the damage.

Nice win buddy, great opportunity during live betting, especially if you are betting on the Rain or Shine, although they are down big time but they will never give up, that's an easy win knowing TNT only won by 3 points. I was wondering what was the original handicap before the game?

2598  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: We have the right tools but many don't know how to use them on: December 25, 2021, 10:19:20 PM
Coinmarketcap and coingecko are enough to solve scam problems if you are a newbie, you don't have to ask anyone for link to official website, contract address or telegram channel coinmarketcap and coingecko got you covered, no more fake contract address and buying fake tokens on uniswap, we have the right tools but many don't know how to use them.
The Internet can be full of scams, we can't deny this. And since people can simply hide their identity especially in crypto, it was easier for them to scam innocent individuals. We can never and ever stop these things.

Yes, we all have these tools to know if a certain project is legit or not but people fall easier to scam due to attractive offers that most are neglect to check it first before investing them. Greediness is the most common reason why we got scammed and why we fall into their hands even it was obvious to see as a scam project.

This kind of thinking makes things worse for bitcoin, we overthink too much when it comes to this kind of thing, plus he's not the person that we should listen to right? Aren't we already done with all the stuff he did back then?
No, we keep remembering all the things he has done before. And now, he is throwing FUDs again the more he always remembered and his nonsense contribution to the crypto.
He is officially a social media influencer, he can easily influence people and go on his side but he can never do this in crypto again. No, he will just fail and the time will come that nobody will listen to him, to all of his nonsense talk towards Bitcoin.
2600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 25, 2021, 11:31:21 AM
^^ The problem with the Suns if they ever face Warriors in the WCF is CP3. Yeah he's been playing great but the thing is his injury and the effect of his absence on the court. When his team is close to beating the Warriors, he misses the next games and the momentum shifts again. I think Steph and Klay always make him play to his limits but he couldn't sustain it throughout the whole series.
Chris Paul will be alright, he finished the NBA Finals last season and unfortunately they lose to the Bucks. They now have the experience and I'm sure they'll be a great match-up against the Warriors. Also, even if Thompson would be back soon, but i don't expect him to be 100% or the same person before he suffered a serious injury, it may take time for him to recover.

I think we should look at how Thompson will develop entering the playoffs. For sure it will take some time for him to bounce back. But if he goes healthy in this season, then the Warriors will be a problem to any team in the NBA. So give him some time to contribute and if he comes back like Durant then we can see an old Klay, hitting spot up three's again.

I agree, the technology now is more advance so a player could play after a long layoff as nothing happens, besides, Thompson makes sure that when he comes back he will be 100% like before, so we should expect he will not disappoint us. Maybe the only concern is the chemistry, but it's not a big issue as knowing the Warriors they are a great team when it comes to chemistry, no problem so far.
