1581  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My thoughts and now my experience. on: September 30, 2022, 11:51:23 AM
Unfortunately, losses will always be inevitable in crypto, regardless of how high your experiences are. Good thing is every losses comes with a great lesson too, so we should still look at it with positivity. However, knowing that crypto is highly risky, then we should exert more effort to DYOR as it’s the best way to lessen the risk  and increase the chance to earn profits.

Realization is big factor for us to learn something from the mistake we do before we lose our money. And even if you are veteran on the industry still you are prone to lose because at the end no one can really actually point out accurately what will happen but for sure for the events goes and we meet it again for sure we can counter those loses and think about good things that can help us to earn or recover.
That is why instead of blaming ourselves due to our losses and for our mistakes, we make a habit to consider this as a way to improve ourselves. Because in reality, no one is perfect and you're right, even experts suffer losses for not all the time we made the right decisions. This is how the market looks like, people will just be about to commit mistakes in order to know that our strategies are wrong and take action for not occurring again but too unfortunate that it can't be perfect no matter what we do.
1582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think metaverse have a place in the world on: September 29, 2022, 01:32:10 PM

indeed at this time a lot of people think that the metaverse will not become hype in the future. like NFT when it was first in 2017 a lot of people thought there was no place for NFT and in the end in 2021 it became hype and everyone was hunting for NFT.
just like the current metaverse may not be able to become hype and it will take a very long time but there is a high possibility that in the coming year who knows how many years there will be a place for the metaverse
Don't listen to their speculation mate as they are actually hopeless and don't want metaverse to grow as well. Though I actually don't see these are a growing project, in fact, the majority of them are scams. However, I consider the point that some of them are also valuable and applicable to social media making it more interesting. And to think about hypes, that is certainly possible in crypto, we know manipulations are somewhat crazy as we see.
1583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly was the Ethereum Merge? on: September 29, 2022, 12:42:00 PM
Rather than waiting someone explaining to you about the Merge.

It's better to read about the Merge from Official Resource of "Ethereum" : https://ethereum.org/en/upgrades/merge/ you can get a fully resource with a different category about the merge it self.

Feel free take your time to read about "Merge" ETH.
This is clear enough to OP and I hope he was reading it and enlighten his understanding about the merge.
Well, it has been said it changes a lot and that also includes prices and market demand. But too unfortunate that instead, this will helps to increase demand and price, it happens that this becomes the reason why people got panic and dump their ETH. It doesn't look good actually and that was because many people don't really understand this, it is somehow they just listen to rumors and fake news.
1584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: September 28, 2022, 01:14:53 PM

I agree! It was evident that Kambosos was indeed having a hard time against Haney and even his punches won't get through because the latter has a good tight defense. We are not underestimating Kambosos here but when he is sharing a ring with Haney, the latter makes him looks like an amateur boxing who don't know what to do, that's how good Haney is. He might be boring to watch but we cannot really argue that his style is good.

That's the sad truth, maybe we think that Kambasos will make an adjustment but for sure Haney will also make an adjustment and he will be ready with Haney's game plan. This is one of the rematch fights that fans think the outcome will be the same on the first fight.
1585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 28, 2022, 12:42:30 PM
The game between Ginebra and ROS is very surprising, there's no way Ginebra will be able to come back in this game.

ROS now is leading the game with 49-72, and it seemed like Brownlee has been struggling with only 14 points so far.
I'm sure everyone has put their bet on Ginebra, but sorry guys, it's an upset tonight.
This is quiet disappointed, I guess they still need to do more practice and play well with their import it looks like a first game jitters.
Kudos to ROS for playing all out and Ginebra is not an easy team to beat and yet they are able to do so. I can say that this commissioners cup is really exciting with full of surprises. Too early to say but I still believe GInebra will bounce back this conference, let's see if they can adjust on their next game.

ROS did bounce back hard with a big win, I like what they did, they look inspired this season, probably because they have their old coach back again and for sure coach Yeng is very serious in trying to win another championship again, but the question is, can they stay consistent?
1586  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It Is Dangerous To Completely Rely On Cryptocurrencies on: September 28, 2022, 11:44:25 AM
Ofcourse completely rely on Cryptocurrencies is much dangerous because of its high volatility. We all know that crypto market are manipulated by the whales. So it can dump hard anytime.Thats why we should not completely rely on cryptocurrencies.
We can deal with these manipulations if we want. But this is not the reason why it was dangerous and perhaps, risky. What causes this is that we can't assure what gonna happen next nor do we think we can make money every day. That is why, if we have $10,000 in our pocket it was not a good idea to put all of it into crypto but it was best to spread it and invest in the other platforms. because what we just think about is the safety our funds and the assurance that if the other investment will fail, there is another to back it up and we never loss all of it ($10,000).
1587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading is good for traders with passive mindset on: September 28, 2022, 11:12:18 AM
It's for everyone.

Whoever wants to trade, they can try it. Passive or active, it's for them and what matters here is on how they know what they're doing. Trading isn't as easy as the mindset that we have.

It's actually a hard thing to do and most of the traders are even losing. If you get to know more about trading and you're accepting the risk of it, then it's for you.
Yes, I agree. Trading is for everyone but not for those who are too emotional. Those who will quickly close the trade shortly after opening it. There are also those who fail to analyze the chart before entering the trade, or those who fail to calculate the risk-to-reward ratio, ignore patterns, or even those who know very well that they have not established an account size sufficient for profit, but proceed with the trade anyway.
I guess you are wrong, maybe you've mean is that trading welcomes everyone" because the truth is that trading is not for everyone. As you have mentioned those emotional people will likely not take risk and time in trading but rather find the place where they can do the right things and decision, and the place where they are comfortable with. Of course, I'll do the same and reject the opportunity in trading coz I know in myself that it was hard for me and I can't handle the stress anymore.
1588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting becomes to high on: September 26, 2022, 11:53:20 AM
Just set your own limits, no excuses if you go past the limit consider it a loss at that point regardless of any game report you cannot consider gambling capital thats not available as any kind of win.   Close it for the day and move onto other things, it does take some discipline but the main point is to always take anything past that limit as the wall for gambling on that day.   A set amount every day is way more healthy then risking it all on just 1 night.
It needs self-control and commitment otherwise, no matter how we set limits, that is still possible to break.
Honestly, once we had fallen into addiction, it was really hard to get out of it. Temptation is one reason why we can't and making a habit to keep on the limit at the start helps us to avoid going through that addiction. But yes, it really matters how we handle ourselves in gambling because many people have been spending on gambling, however, they are still able to manage themselves.
1589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LUNA PUMP on: September 26, 2022, 11:23:53 AM
I think LUNA can be counted as scam now as a project. It seems all deceive and lies. They should have saved UST with those funds, I know you will say "they could not" but I think they could. They reacted so late than usual. Many people I follow on twitter lost money. I personally will never ever invest in any kind of LUNA tokens or projects. Its heading towards graveyard of altcoins. Its not gonna be last one.
Perhaps, it deserves to be called like that after all the issues and irresponsible responses. In fact, they want to divert the mind of their investors and to think they are still can be trusted but unfortunately, they fail. If we saw Luna is pumping, we have to be careful with this as this never happens without any reason/s and no way we have to trust this project again and much more if the developer got caught by the authorities.
1590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: September 26, 2022, 10:55:22 AM

With the rumors that Lomachenco has an injured shoulder during the fight, probably Loma's fans won't be convinced that Lopez really dominated a 100% healthy Lomachenco.  So I think the rematch between Lomachenco and Lopez will be very interesting.

Lomachenco would be interested in that but Lopez does not give him that chance, now that Loma is still a champion and Lopez is not anymore, I think Loma has to choose a fighter that he would benefit big time if he wins the fight. Lopez needs to become a champion first which I think is possible, but considering his attitude, I have a feeling he will not achieve the ultimate success.
1591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 26, 2022, 10:23:53 AM
I also believe that Bud Crawford have the higher hand in this fight, the man is fearless and could break mountains if he has to. While Spence here is clearly trying to drag the schedule because he knows that Crawford won't be the same as time goes by.

I don't think Spence is avoiding Crawford to expect that the latter won't be the same as time goes by.

While Crawford is catching age, the same for Spence too. Bud is 34 years old while The Truth is 32 years old. I don't think there's a big difference in their strength or having a huge gap in their skills with that 2 years difference in their age.

While Bud is building a legacy, Spence is a businessman. He wants to make sure that he will get the most share of every fight. If he fight Crawford before, he might end up taking the small share of the purse split that's why he established his career first and build his reputation to become the PPV King.

It's probably not about the age gap because it's not that too far, it's not like GGG vs Canelo, and Pacman vs Ugas. There's a big reason why this fight is still not announced until now, the number 1 reason is probably the split of the money, and I have a feeling hyping this fight would not help anymore in order to make it happen.
1592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 26, 2022, 08:35:57 AM
On the other hand, it looks like Tolentino going to the NorthPort is really a good move because he and Bollick are the top scorers of team right now. If he will continue, Tolentino will be the one who help Bollick offensively and after a few years, SMC and MVP will try to get him "again". Ooops!! Tongue.

I think this team is not a farm team but they cannot just match the offer of big teams.

Well, they need to play harder, they have a good line up now, good import, and a good coach that has a play that would allow everyone to play. Tolentino is just a talented player, but since he is now with the Northport, he now has more opportunities to help his team win.
1593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 26, 2022, 08:11:37 AM

In my opinion, the rosters of the Clippers, Wolves, and Cavs look promising.

These three teams supported their squads well.
But the strongest among them are the Clippers as we know.
I don't think Minnesota and Cavaliers will have much of a chance in the NBA finals. Because they don't have a real all-star player on their team. Like Kawhi Leonard.

With a healthy Kawhi, I also believe that Clippers will have a good chance of making their way to the next round,
just need another good run and bring the team back to winning passion.

They almost made it last season even both Kawhi and PG are resting, the role players are good and with the stars
playing around the winning chance is much expected.

Plus, adding John Wall, another offensive player, it is really exciting how the team will perform in this upcoming season.

Not only the next round but a shot of winning the NBA championship. I think with Kawhi, the Clippers ca defeat the Warriors as he has done that before, with the Raptors hea beat the Warriors and has become a champion, when he was still with the Spurs, they almost did it if he was not injured and was out in the series, Zaza Pachulia did a dirty job on him.
1594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How mentally prepared are you? on: September 25, 2022, 10:36:34 PM
Mental preparation for me is a function of knowledge and understanding of how BTC works.... For me I'm prepared to hodl for 5 years or more bcuz my I know that soon BTC will hit anothe
r ath...
Mental preparation is not all about preparing for the future but for you to become totally prepared for how to deal with the market situation every day. Of course, many people have said that can manage to hold for 5 years but never I think that they can fulfill it because of possible emotional breakup and losses of their minds then makes them sell earlier. Perhaps, it was very common and usually, people changed their decision because of the influence of their emotions.
1595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple (XRP) goes up, Bitcoin stays flat or even lose value on: September 25, 2022, 10:07:32 PM
It will touch 1$ very soon. I’m not touching any of mine until it reaches a certain price. I don’t need little profits now. I only invest what I can afford to lose so me holding is easy. If anything, I’ll keep buying while I can. in order for XRP or any other stock or crypto to rocket up is there has to be people buying at the current highs. They won't get there by selling for small profits so I waiting for 1$.
I hope you are not wrong with your decision. I've never said XRP has no potential nor does it turns scam but this coin has absolutely not easy to pump. I have had some XRP before and holding it for just a few months because I sell them due to the notice that the price won't make high even during the Bull season. I'm not sure their winning against the SEC make help it change the scenario but still, I really don't have the confidence that it will pump high just like the other coins.
1596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 25, 2022, 01:40:58 PM
Yes and throughout the NBA's history, there are a lot of sex scandals, involving the players themselves. Who will forget about Kobe's infamous case here? and I think it causes him his Adidas or Nike contract. Nevertheless, he continue to play and become a legend.

It's just the times though, I'm also not updated on the rules whether written or not about coaches and their affairs. I guess the sticking point is that he is married, which make it worst and Boston franchise are not going to tolerate it.

They made the right action already, it's only a suspension but I'm pretty sure he will not return anymore because he knows he made a serious offense. he is a great coach, so he can still find a team to play with but in a different league.
1597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 25, 2022, 01:19:56 PM
I don't think Butler's skill should be underestimated.  Yes, in the upcoming battle, he is potentially very much inferior to the Japanese.

However, Butler is an experienced and strong fighter.  If he does not lose personal courage and fights with all his strength, then he has a chance to win.  Butler is very unpredictable.  It is not for nothing that this boxer is called the Killer, who has a childish face.  He can outsmart the Japanese.

If the Japanese boxer relaxes, then Butler can launch a surprise attack that will lead to a technical knockout.  Such an option now seems completely unbelievable, but it is possible.

Inoue is not one of those fighters who allow himself to relax in the ring, his advantage in this fight looks very clear, he has a very strong punch and he surpasses Butler in speed. Butler says that he is not afraid of Inoue, moreover, he is confident in his victory. It is clear what is the point of entering the ring if you are not confident in yourself, but also need to be objective, Inoue is the clear favorite in this fight.

Maybe early in his career, he relaxes, that's why he gets the knock out much earlier. But after that, he not only learn to pace himself, but can knockout guys in less than 6 rounds, just like what he did against Nonito Donaire.

So his confident is very high and we think that a victory for him is imminent, its just what rounds will Butler go. Or if Butler can survived, what will be his strategy. He can't brawl against a brawler, or take a body shots from Inoue. So he is in a dilemma and only that when we see his strategy on the day of the fight itself.

Every boxer can improve, and what we see on Inoue is that he is a special fighter, he has the skills and the gift because he is a heavy hitter, and that's something not all boxers have. A style of Mayweather can beat Inoue, but Butler does not have the same style, so he is expected to lose.
1598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A good news or a bad news on: September 25, 2022, 09:47:24 AM
I have no problem using tether usdt in fact I like the stable coin more than a few others except BUSD, Tether is big enough right now and they have been investigated in the past, bringing this up now is just a new to create fear in this crypto space so nothing new here.
Their reputation is very important and I know for sure that every investor needs some clarification and transparency and much more for the government. The issue is really a big deal and they have to tell the truth otherwise, they've got what it deserves for this project. I'm not going to say it creates fear in the market as it never affects the entire market for sure.

Might say it was bad news for USDT investors and developers but for some reason, this will help to keep the market looking good and all of the stablecoins.
1599  Economy / Speculation / Re: What can we expect from this statement of Michal Slayer.. on: September 24, 2022, 11:52:20 PM
These are just mere speculations The crypto market is full of so many surprises, I mean one you never bargained for. Every one expects Bitcoin to hit new ATHs in the future and because no single individual controls the market telling exactly how much Bitcoin will cost in the future will be extremely difficult
Indeed. And people are speculating more than the price of the previous ATH which is also what I believe. Reaching $80k, $90k...that gonna be possible but of course, we can't assure as well when exactly this will come knowing that the market is unpredictable. Though we never know the market, I still put some consideration into the other's opinion for might they are right and it was stated by Michal Slayer 4 years from now which is possible after halving and Bullrun where prices are probably on the decline already.
1600  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: September 24, 2022, 11:33:59 PM
Good tips. After COVID more and more people are working remotely and that is also part of the "gig economy" in the last decade. The tips are in general valid from many people who actually freelance or work under contract. Particularly the time limits and boundaries, even physical boundaries, between where you work and were you do anything else are critical for the psychological wellbeing of the individuals.
It changes a lot, not only do we learn how to adjust to a new setup of work but also we know how to manage ourselves being in communications limits. It really has a huge difference but I still see is not the reason why we couldn't perform well, it is really depending on the mindset of the person.
We have new technologies that really help us in order to make working remotely more effective, so we don't have any excuse to say that it was not possible.
